Abstract

Has conducted research on the study of coprecipitation Co(II) using copresipitan Al(OH)3 by Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry. This study aims to find the optimum conditions such as pH coprecipitation, volume of coprecipitan and the volume of nitric acid as eluent and to see efect of Ni(II) to coprecipitation Co(II). Results of analysis using SSA coprecipitation prove that the optimum conditions obtained in a relatively at base pH of the solution that is pH 8, where the condition is colloidal Al(OH)3 formed maximum. At acidic pH colloid formation process is not maximized, while at higher pH colloids formed will dissolve again into tetra hidroksoaluminat ions. Maximum Coprecipitan volume occurs at 12 mL Al3+ 0,2 M, which is the case in vulome maximum absorption of  Co2+ 50 mL 1 ppm by 2,0 mmol colloidal Al(OH)3 while at higher volumes there is a reduction of the metal cation uptake due to competition between the Al metal is more electropositive and have fingers ion is smaller than the cations Co(II). The optimum conditions of volume nitric acid as eluent  occurred on volume of 1 mL with absorption capacity by Al3 was 0.0905 mg / g, where as in the volume of eluent managed to extract maximum metal cations while the volume is higher dilution solution causes a decrease in the concentration of metal cations soluble in the eluent. The addition of nickel metal ions affect coprecipitation of metal kobalt  because cobalt and nickel  is a 3d transition which has a tendency of the same characteristic.

Abstract

The research that has been carried out on the photosonolytic degradation of methyl red uses a ZnO as a catalyst which aims to determine the effect of time and catalyst mass on the degradation of methyl red. The time of degradation is about 30 to 150 minutes while about 0,05 grams to 2,5 grams of catalyst mass is used. The measurement results of the Uv-Vis spectrophotometer were obtained at a wavelength of 435nm with an absorbance 0,2471. In the variation of the degradation time, the highest result was obtained at 60 minutes which was 75,27%, while the ZnO mass variation carried out at the optimum time of 60 minutes obtained the highest results in the addition of 0,15 grams ZnO with the percentage of degradation (%D) of 47,79%. This study shown that hydroxyl radicals (∙OH) takes as a main control in degrading of methyl red.

Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian tentang penentuan kadar logam Ca, Al, Fe dan uji kapasitas serapan ion fosfat oleh sedimen limbah tambang batu kapur di bukit karang putih. Pemilihan lokasi pengambilan sampel berdasarkan atas teknik random yang terserbar menjadi 7 titik sampling antara lain, satu titik dihulu, dua titik di lingkungan tambang, dua titik di Sungai Batang Idas dan dua titik di hilir. Hasil penelitian di dapatkan kadar logam Ca dalam persen (%) pada 7 titik sampel berturut-turut adalah sebagai berikut 0,27; 29,67; 29,97; 27,97; 11,28; 9,75; 2,94, dan kadar logam Al dalam persen pada 7 titik sampel berturut-turut adalah 0,025; 0,027; 0,035; 0,036; 0,038; 0,039; 0,041, serta kadar logam Fe dalam persen pada 7 titik sampel berturut-turut adalah 4,15; 1,37; 2,24; 2,07; 3,51; 3,04; 3,17. Kapasitas serapan ion fosfat dalam mg/g pada 7 titik sampel berturut-turut adalah sebagai berikut 6,1; 3,1; 100; 0,4; 2,4; 2,2; 2,9 m. Kesimpulan, kadar logam Ca lebih tinggi bila dibandingkan dengan logam Al dan Fe sehingga logam Ca berperan dalam penyerapan ion fosfat. Terbukti dari analisis korelasi menunjukkan bahwa logam Ca berkorelasi positif dengan Qmaks, sedangkan dengan logam Al dan Fe berkorelasi negatif. Pemodelan isoterm Langmuir lebih tepat dari pada pemodelan isoterm Freundlich karena kapasitas serapan ion fosfat (Q maks) dan regresi (R2) nya lebih tinggi yaitu berturut-turut 100 mg/g dan 0,997mg/g.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an e-module based on problem-based learning to improve scientific literacy for class XI Senior High School students. The method used is the 4-D Model development method with the stages of Defining Design, Development and Dissemination. The limitation of this research is only until the third stage. This development assessment is valid and practical. The elements that are validated are content, presentation, language and graphic components. Elements of practice can be seen from the questionnaire conducted by 36 students and 3 teachers. The results of this study are e-modules that meet valid and practical criteria, so that they can be used for salt hydrolysis learning in class XI Senior High School students.

Abstract

The role of the community is one of the causes of the decline in the quality of drainage water. The decrease in the quality of drainage is related to behavior that is formed based on the characteristics of a person and their environment. The sample in this study is the community from 30 houses directly facing the drainage which is the object of research. The research aims to determine the effect of age, length of stay, and gender on people's behavior in managing household liquid waste and disposing of waste in trash cans. This research was analyzed quantitatively using SPSS, Paired Sample t-test for comparison test. The results of this study showed that the behavior of household wastewater management, age, length of stay, and gender did not have a significant effect. While the behavior of throwing garbage in the trash, only the age factor has a significant effect, while the length of stay and gender factors have no significant effect.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk membuat instrumen yang dapat mengukur Self -Regulated Learning Mahasiswa Fisika dengan mengukur tingkat validitas. Rancangan instrumen berupa angket Self -Regulated Learning mahasiswa yang terdiri dari 30 pernyataan positif dengan respon berdasarkan skala likert skor 1 sampai 5. Angket self-regulated learning ini dibagi dalam 3 aspek, yaitu aspek metakognitif, motivasi, dan perilaku. Uji validitas yang dilakukan menggunakan validitas isi. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat 24 pernyataan yang valid terdiri dari 8 pernyataan untuk aspek metakognitif, 8 pernyataan untuk aspek motivasi, 8 pernyataan untuk aspek perilaku, dan 1 pertanyaan terbuka. Validitas instrument angket SRL ini berada pada kategori valid (80%). Artinya angket ini dapat digunakan untuk mengukur self-regulated learning mahasiswa fisika UIN imam bonjol Padang

Abstract

The population increases every year, as a result of increasing land demand for life activities. Changes in forest land to other uses, have an impact on the sustainability of the water system and river flow. This will have an impact on the sustainability of PLTA Koto Panjang. This study aims to determine the direction of energy sustainability policy of electricity in water catchment area Koto Panjang. To see land use change using Landsat ETM 7 2005 image, and Landsat imagery of Oli 8 years 2018. The method used to determine the direction of Koto Panjang hydropower energy sustainability policy using ISM analysis, in this analysis involving experts as much as 20. The results of land use analysis of about 70 percent of the catchment area changed from primary forest to secondary forest. Direction of energy sustainability policy on PLTA Koto Panjang, it is necessary to increase the cooperation between responsible institutions and law enforcement on the environment.

Abstract

High population growth is a major problem in many developing countries. High population growth has an impact on environmental quality. The purpose of this study describes the dynamic modeling and impact of population growth on environmental quality in Padang City. The method used in dynamic modeling is system approach using powersim 10 software. The population growth in Padang City of the period of 2000-2016 is about 1.3 percent / year, and it is estimated that by 2050 the population will increase to 951.071 inhabitants. The amount of waste produced every year is 2,376 tons / year, and will increase by 2050 to 2,378 tons / year. Abstract

Air merupakan kebutuhan vital dan harus tersedia untuk menunjang keberlangsungan hidup manusia. Masyarakat Indonesia dengan pengetahuan lokal memanfaatkan sumber air untuk memenuhi kebutuhan mereka. Pandemi covid-19 melanda Indonesia hingga menyebabkan perubahan pola hidup dan sikap masyarakat seperti selalu mencuci tangan. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan pengelolaan sumber daya air di masa pandemic covid-19 dalam perspektif kearifan lokal pada masyarakat sakai di Kecamatan Mandau. Kajian ini menggunakan metode studi literatur dengan menelaah sumber-sumber referensi tentang pengelolaan sumber daya air dan kearifan lokal. Data tersebut dikumpulkan, dianalisis dan ditarik kesimpulan. Hasil dari kajian ini menunjukkan bahwa kebutuhan air semakin meningkat disaat pandemic covid-19 hingga menjadi permasalahan baru seperti terjadinya krisis air. Namun masyarakat sakai di Kecamatan Mandau dalam memanfaatkan dan mengelola sumber daya air disaat pandemi covid-19 telah berpedoman pada kearifan lokal.

Abstract

Sungai merupakan salah satu sumber air yang diperuntukan untuk aktivitas manusia, aktivitas tersebut mengakibatkan aliran air sungai menjadi tercemar dan berdampak pada terjadinya penurunan kualitas air salah satunya industri, Setiap proses di industri pasti menghasilkan limbah, baik itu limbah padat, cair maupun gas, Sungai Ombilin termasuk kedalam golongan sungai tipe B, Penyebab pencemaran sungai pada perairan ini biasanya berasal dari zat zat yang terkontaminasi oleh limbah buangan industry. Di sekitar Sungai Ombilin terdapat PLTU dan area pertambangan batu bara, 2 hal tersebut yang mempengaruhi indeks pencemaran air sungai, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat indeks pencemaran sungai ombilin dilihat dari kandungan Kimia Anorganik,dengan parameter Sianida (Cn-), Klorin (Cl), Nitrit (No2-)TSS dan pH.penelitian ini menggunakan metode indeks pencemaran menurut KepMen LH 115/2003, untuk menentukan indek pencemaran air sungai, dari hasil pengukuran sampel 1 dan 2 didapatkan hasil kandungan Sianida (Cn-), Klorin (Cl), Nitrit (No2-) dan TSS melebihi baku mutu sedangkan pH tidak melebihi baku mutu air sungai kelas B. dari hasil pengukuran indeks pencemaran sampel 1 termasuk kedalam kategori tercemar tercemar ringan (slightly polluted) sedangkan sampel 2 termasuk kedalam kategori air sungai yang tercemar berat (heavily polluted). KATA KUNCI : Kimia Anorganik, Indeks Pencemaran ABSTRACK The river is a source of water that is intended for human activities, this activity results in the flow of river water being polluted and has an impact on decreasing the quality of water, one of which is the industry, Every process in an industry must produce waste, be it solid, liquid or gas waste, the Ombilin River included in the type B river group, the cause of river pollution in these waters usually comes from substances contaminated by industrial waste. Around the Ombilin River there is a PLTU and a coal mining area, 2 things that affect the river water pollution index, this study aims to determine the level of the ombilin river pollution index seen from the content of inorganic chemicals, with parameters of cyanide (Cn-), chlorine (Cl), Nitrite (No2-) TSS and pH. This study used the pollution index method according to KepMen LH 115/2003, to determine the river water pollution index, from the measurement results of samples 1 and 2 obtained the results of cyanide (Cn-), chlorine (Cl ), Nitrite (No.2-) and TSS exceeds the quality standard while the pH does not exceed the Class B river water quality standard. From the measurement results, sample 1 is included in the slightly polluted category while sample 2 is included in the heavily polluted river water category.
