Abstract

ABSTRACT Piebaldism is a disorder in the area of ​​the body caused by an autosomal genetic predominance of the development of melanocytes.The method used in this study is a qualitative method which aims to determine the variation of the KIT-c gene present in the To Balo mucosa samples.The results of this study indicate thatThe change is caused by a point mutation process where in patients with piabeldism the nucleotide bases of sequence 1391 and 1392 undergo changes, where the normal nucleotide base adenine (A) changes to cytosine (C) and cytosine (C) changes to adenine (A). So it can be concluded that the To Balo community in Bulo-Bulo village, Pujananting District, Barru Regency, South Sulawesi suffers from an autosomal dominant hereditary disease or piebaldism.

Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk memberi pemahaman tentang jaminan produk halal khususya makanan yang disajikan di kantin UIN Alauddin Makassar sekaligus melakukan observasi terhadap tingkat pemahaman peserta terhadap halal dan sanitasi higienitas makanan. Pengguna dalam hal ini konsumen pun juga diikutkan untuk memperoleh data kepuasan terhadap kebersihan kantin. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di Kantin lapangan UIN Alauddin, pada hari Rabu, 21-22 Desember 2023. Metode berupa survey (kuisioner) terhadap penyaji kantin dan pemilik kantin, serta pengguna (konsumen) , di Kantin lapangan UIN. Kegiatan ini berkoordinasi dengan LPH dan Pusat Pengembangan Bisnis UIN Alauddin dalam hal ini sebagai penyedia jasa kantin-kantin di lingkup UIN Alauddin. Hasil Survey dan lembar observasi pun menjadi rujukan untuk tindak lanjut kegiatan workshop yang akan dilakukan dengan menghadirkan pemilik kantin serta pemasok ayam yang dipilih untuk dijadikan peserta berdasarkan isian lembar observasi pemilik kantin. Luaran yang diharapakan dari kegiatan ini, diperoleh kondisi terkini di kantin UIN Alauddin, dan diharapkan setelah mendapat sosialisasi ini kesadaran pemilik/penyaji makanan yang halal thoyyib semakin baik.

Abstract

Indonesia has a tropical monsoon-type climate which suitable for agriculture and plantations. One of the main centers of orange fruits (Citrus sp.) production in Indonesia and become the top ten with the largest production is in South Sulawesi. Farmers commonly cultivate siam oranges (Citrus nobilis). Lime (Citrus aurantifolia) has not yet become the main production, which is inversely proportional to the high demand in South Sulawesi. This study aims to determine the ability of bio-catharanthine as a polyploidy agent against the phenotype of the familia Rutaceae cultivated in South Sulawesi. The research was carried out in Laboratory of Genetics and Molecular Biology, Department of Biology, Universitas Islam Negeri Alauddin Makassar using randomized complete block design consisted of two conditions (bio-catharanthine concentration including C1 = Bio-catharanthine 0.05%; C2 = Bio-catharanthine 0.075%; C3 = Bio-catharanthine 0.1% and immersion time including T1 = 3 h; T2 = 6 h). Phenotypic observations include plant height, the number of leaves and nodes, the length of roots, and the number of roots per shoot. The results of the study showed that the bio-catharanthine immersion of 0.05-0.075% for 6 hours in Rutaceae had a significant effect on their phenotypic characters.

Abstract

One of Sulawesi's endemic plants, Dillenia serrata, has numerous uses in the culinary, furniture, and health sectors. Society frequently ignores the lack of knowledge on the use of endemic plants. This study aims to provide the public with information on the endemic plant, D. serrata, from an Islamic and scientific perspective, thus, it can be digested and used as effectively as possible in the future. The approach taken was qualitative, and it involved gathering a variety of pertinent facts and figures about the endemic Sulawesi D. serrata plant through library research. The findings of the studies show that there are several verses in QS Al-An'am verse 99, QS Ar-R'ad verse 4, QS Asy Syu'ara verse 7, and QS Al-An'am verse 141 that demonstrate differences as well as similarities in terms of shape and taste as well as related to the various advantages possessed by the D. serrata plant. In addition, it cautions scientists against breeding and conservation activities, one of which is sharing genetic information from these indigenous species.

Abstract

Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP) is one of the infectious diseases in cats caused by the Feline Corona Virus (FCov). This disease can occur due to lack of knowledge regarding animal health, causing many health problems in cats. The purpose of this study was to determine the number of cats experiencing FIP cases, to find out how to diagnose the disease and to find out the prevention and treatment of FIP in cats. The research method used an interview method with a descriptive approach. The results of the study showed that there were 3 cases of FIP that attacked domestic cats with 2 types of FIP, namely wet FIP ​​(effusive) and dry FIP (non-effusive). Diagnosis of the disease is based on the clinical symptoms that appear, medical history, physical examination and ultrasound examination. Treatment actions that can be taken are in cases of wet FIP, removing fluid that accumulates in the cat's abdomen and giving vitamins/antibiotics to dry FIP sufferers. FIP disease is easily transmitted and fatal. Therefore, it can be prevented by maintaining and caring for cats properly and separating cats that have been infected with FIP from healthy cats.

Abstract

Implementasi sistem jaminan produk halal telah menjadi perhatian utama bagi usaha mikro kecil dan menengah (UMKM), termasuk di dalamnya Roti Q-Ta, yang beroperasi dalam industri roti. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi bagaimana Roti Q-Ta menerapkan standar jaminan produk halal melalui pembelian bahan baku yang dipastikan halal dan proses produksi yang sesuai dengan prinsip-prinsip kehalalan. Langkah awal yang krusial dalam implementasi adalah memastikan bahwa semua bahan baku yang digunakan seperti tepung, gula, mentega dan bahan tambahan lainnya telah bersertifikasi halal. Selanjutnya, dalam proses produksi, Roti Q-Ta menerapkan prosedur ketat untuk menghindari kontaminasi silang dengan bahan non-halal serta memastikan penggunaan peralatan yang disucikan sesuai dengan tata cara halal. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus untuk mengeksplorasi implementasi sistem jaminan produk halal pada UMKM Roti Q-Ta. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi sistem jaminan produk halal telah memberikan manfaat signifikan berupa peningkatan kepercayaan konsumen, ekspansi pasar dan peningkatan kualitas produk. Namun, tantangan seperti biaya implementasi yang tinggi dan kurangnya pengetahuan karyawan mengenai prinsip halal menjadi fokus dalam upaya mengoptimalkan proses ini. Kolaborasi dengan pihak terkait direkomendasikan sebagai strategi untuk mengatasi hambatan ini dan memperkuat posisi Roti Q-Ta dalam pasar yang semakin kompetitif.Kata Kunci: Jaminan Produk Halal, Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah

Abstract

Coffeeza Arabica Latimojong adalah perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang pengolahan kopi dan merupakan industri kecil mikro milik perorangan yang terletak di Desa Latimojong Kabupaten Enrekang yang belum tersertifikasi halal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan rancangan sistem jaminan halal di Coffeeza Arabica Latimojong sebagai salah satu syarat sertifikasi halal. Metode yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan melakukan inspeksi setiap proses produksi, penemuan titik kendali halal kritis pada proses produksi, penetapan pengendalian, pencegahan, pemantauan, koreksi dan manual sistem jaminan halal (SJH) berdasarkan HAS 23000. Dari hasil kajian tersebut, terdapat usulan perbaikan yang dapat diberikan pada Coffeeza Arabika Latimojong yaitu perusahaan harus meningkatkan pelatihan karyawan untuk memastikan bahwa mereka memahami dan mengikuti standar halal, perusahaan harus mengembangkan sistem informasi yang lebih baik untuk mendukung implementasi SJH dan perusahaan harus mengembangkan kemitraan dengan pemasok yang lebih baik untuk memastikan bahwa bahan baku memenuhi standar halal.Kata Kunci: Coffeeza Arabica Latimojong, halal, kopi

Abstract

The halal certification process in Indonesia is crucial in meeting the needs of both domestic Muslim consumers and the international market. This study examines the perspectives of regulators and industry practitioners on halal certification in Indonesia, focusing on regulatory complexity, procedural challenges, and market-driven compliance. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, the study identifies key issues, including the overlap of responsibilities among regulatory bodies, the impact of digital transformation, and the importance of government-industry collaboration. Findings reveal that regulatory complexity often creates procedural confusion, hindering compliance. BPJPH’s digital initiatives present opportunities to streamline certification but face accessibility challenges, particularly for SMEs in rural areas. Additionally, strong consumer demand for halal products pressures companies to prioritize halal certification as part of their competitive strategy. This study’s implications suggest a need for an integrated approach in Islamic studies involving religious, policy, and business disciplines to develop a responsive Sharia-based economy. Enhancing collaboration between regulators and industry is critical to support the growth of Indonesia's halal sector and strengthen its position in the global halal market.

Abstract

Indonesia is intensifying the acceleration of halal certification in Indonesia to realize Indonesia as the Number 1 Halal Food and Beverage Producer in the world, and this hope is targeted to be carried out in 2024. Through this acceleration program, it directly has a positive implication in accelerating the inclusion of strengthening halal literacy in society. This study examines the Correlation of Government Policy, Halal Awareness and Compensation on Halal Product Companion Competence: Human Resource Development as an Intervening Variable. The research method uses Quantitative Descriptive, with 50 respondents. The results of the study indicate that Government Policy has a negative and insignificant effect on P3H Competence, Halal Awareness has a negative or indirect and insignificant effect on P3H Competence. Compensation has a positive or indirect but insignificant effect on P3H Competence. Government Policy has a positive or indirect but insignificant effect on P3H Human Resource Development. Halal Awareness has a positive or indirect and significant effect on P3H Human Resource Development. Compensation has a positive or indirect and significant effect on P3H Human Resource Development. Human resource development has a positive or unidirectional and significant effect on P3H Competence. The indirect effect of Government Policy through Human Resource Development on P3H Competence is positive but not significant. The indirect effect of Halal Awareness through Human Resource Development on P3H Competence is positive but not significant. The indirect effect of Compensation through Human Resource Development on P3H Competence is positive but not significant.

Abstract

Industri kuliner halal di Indonesia telah mengalami perkembangan pesat, seiring dengan meningkatnya kesadaran konsumen terhadap pentingnya produk yang sesuai dengan prinsip syariah. Hosen’s Culinary, yang terletak di Jakarta, menjadi salah satu contoh usaha kuliner yang menerapkan prinsip halal secara konsisten. Meskipun demikian, tantangan besar tetap ada, seperti ketersediaan bahan baku halal, biaya sertifikasi, dan edukasi konsumen. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan Standar Jaminan Produk Halal (SJPH) pada Hosen’s Culinary dan mengevaluasi tantangan serta peluang yang dihadapi oleh UKM kuliner dalam menerapkan prinsip syariah di industri kuliner. Pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi kasus diterapkan pada Hosen’s Culinary melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi untuk menggali penerapan kaidah fiqih dalam proses produksi, pemilihan bahan baku, serta pelatihan internal yang dilakukan oleh tim manajemen halal. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa Hosen’s Culinary telah memenuhi standar halal yang ditetapkan oleh lembaga pemeriksa halal, LPH Hidayatullah, dengan sistem yang terorganisir mulai dari pemilihan bahan baku, prosedur produksi, hingga pemantauan dan evaluasi internal. Namun, tantangan utama terletak pada keterbatasan bahan baku halal lokal dan biaya sertifikasi. Peluang terdapat dalam peningkatan fasilitas ramah Muslim dan edukasi konsumen mengenai pentingnya jaminan halal. Hosen’s Culinary berhasil mengintegrasikan prinsip syariah dalam setiap aspek operasionalnya, meskipun dihadapkan pada tantangan yang memerlukan perhatian lebih lanjut. Rekomendasi yang diajukan termasuk kolaborasi dengan lembaga sertifikasi halal dan penyediaan bahan baku halal lokal untuk mendukung keberlanjutan usaha. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi bagi pengembangan kebijakan dan praktik halal di sektor kuliner Indonesia, serta menawarkan solusi praktis bagi UKM dalam menghadapi tantangan dan meraih peluang dalam bisnis kuliner halal
