Abstract

Abstract: discourse to change the Election Law which has authority to elect regional heads returned to Parliament, which means that the implementation of the election is no longer directly, but through representatives who sit in the legislature region. Many opinions arise when the Draft Law on Election by Parliament was published to the public either in the form of acceptance or rejection. As intellectuals, students should be able to read the situation and assess appropriately supported all the knowledge to determine the correct attitude towards a political problem that occurred at that time and be a good example for society. Formulation of the problem in this research is how the attitude of Pancasila and Citizenship Education students of the Faculty of Education, University of Riau on the implementation of Direct Indirect election in Indonesia. This study aims to determine the attitude of Pancasila and Citizenship Education students of the Faculty of Education, University of Riau on the implementation of Direct and Indirect elections in Indonesia. That is the subject in this study were all students of Pancasila and Citizenship Education, the Faculty of Education, University of Riau from 2011-2014 workforce numbering 245 persons and a sample of 152 people. In setting the sample using a sampling technique Slovin is with precision of 5% from 245 students to 152 students. Data gathered through questionnaires, and technical literature. In analyzing the data using qualitative descriptive technique with percentages.The results showed that the number of respondents who answered "agree" to the implementation of direct elections as much as 62.98% in the range of 33.33% -66.67% means that the respondents are approved the implementation of direct elections in Indonesia. As for the elections Indirect respondents who answered "agree" as much as 66.08% is also in the range of 33.33% - 66.67%, the respondents are approved implementation Indirect elections in Indonesia. Abstract

Abstract: This study was motivated by the influence of student organizations in shaping the character of the students as candidates for the carrier changes. So the student organization is considered appropriate measures to strengthen the soft skills and hard skills of the students to prepare lunch later in the day. Therefore, the authors take the title of the study "Analysis of the benefits of student involvement in Student Organizations (BEM UR Management Study Period 2014-2015)". The aim of this study to determine the benefits of student participation in student organizations. The study population was BEM UR period 2014-2015 amounting to 104 people and a sample of this research amount to 52 people. Data collection instruments questionnaire consisting of 19 statements and interviews consisted of 19 questions. In the analysis of the data, the author uses qualitative descriptive analysis.The results of this study indicate that the UR BEM 2014-2015 period, which can benefit from participating in the organization of visits of students of 52 percent as much as 92.20% of respondents answered yes. The advantages of the most commonly observed by BEM UR No 4 of 19 other advantages, namely on the one hand cooperate to obtain benefits in the form of multi-disciplinary working group (100%). The second advantage to have a responsible attitude (100%).Thirdly, expanding the advantage to improve (100%) and fourth advantage of the possibility of critical (100%). As a reference to the opinion (Husaini Usman Ali Hamsah) then the hypothesis can be accepted.   Key Words: Student Organizations, BEM UR

Abstract

Abstract : This study is conducted base on the immaximum of public services by Riau Province apparatus. With the existence of Ombudsman representation in Riau province for quite long, show the services are given by the ombudsman are not quite well. Based on the reason of the Ombudsman establishment, as an extention for curing the public services in Indonesia specifically in Riau province. Based on this, the researchers is interested in conducting a study entitled “An analysis of Riau University student’s perception to Ombudsman representation in Riau province”. The question of this study is how the perception of Riau University student to Ombudsman representation in Riau province. The aim of this study is to know how far the roles of Ombudsman representation in Riau in doing they duties, functions and authority. The samples of this study are 180 respondents taken random that consist of 20 respondents for each facullty and using Purposive Sampling . The instruments of collecting data using quissionarre and interview. There are 32 questions which classified 10 questions to tOmbudsman duties, 1 question to Ombudsman function, and about 21 questions to Ombudsman authority. Based on data analysis , the perception of students to Ombudsman duties is very good and reach about 43.28%, in other hand the students perception about Ombudsman function considered not really good and reach around 28.33%. While to Ombudsman authority is in level very good with percentage around 49.29%. From these 3 indicators roles of Ombudsman, about 40.03% students answered “ always” reach 33.34%-66.67%. It can be concluded that the Ombudsman of Repulic of Indonesia for Riau chapter is not really well in doing they duties as an inspector institution for public services.Keywords : Students, the role of Ombudsman.

Abstract

Abstract: This research is based on the low learning result of PPKn students in SMP Negeri 2 Sentajo Raya Kuantan Singingi Regency. The formulation of the problem in this research is: "Is there any influence of Kooperati model model true or false type to the learning result of Vocational High School student of VIII SMP Negeri 2 Sentajo Raya Kuantan Singingi Regency?". This study aims to determine the effect of true or false learning model on student learning outcomes in learning PPKn in SMP Negeri 2 Sentajo Raya Kuantan Singingi regency in January 2017. This research is a quantitative descriptive study that became population in this study are students of class VIII SMP Negeri 2 Semtajo Raya Kuantan Singingi Regency. The sample in this research is class VIII C as the control class of the students who were given the lecture method and the class VIII A as the experimental class students who were given the learning model true or false then the data were analyzed using homogeneity test and t test. Based on the results of the research indicates that there is a positive effect on the learning outcomes of students who applied the learning model true or false than using conventional methods in SMP Negeri 2 Sentajo Raya with the price (t_hitung 7.56 => t_tabel = 2.00). Thus obtained the hypothesis that there is a significant positive influence between the application of the model true or false with the results of student learning class VIII A SMP Negeri 2 Sentajo Raya Kuantan Singingi district is acceptable.Keywords: True or False, and Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstract : This research is done by changing the way of choosing youth chairman in Tanjung Pauh Village formerly implemented by Deliberation but now it is done by direct election. The formulation problem of this research is what factors caused the change of youth election from the way of musyawarah to direct election and how the election of youth chairman in Tanjung Pauh Village and in election of youth chairman in Tanjung Pauh Village using Democracy principles. The population of this research is the people of Tanjung Pauh Village as many as 2,099 people, the sample is 80 people using the technique of taking proposive sampling. Data collection techniques are observation, questionnaires, interviews and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the factors lead to changes in the way of elections from direct consensus deliberation discussions are the effects of musyawarah discussed using a very long time, new problems arise that sometimes out of the topic of discussion, participants became passive and decisions are often ignored. In the election of youth chairman in Tanjung Pauh Village, implemented based on the principle of direct, public, free, secret, voters are villagers Tanjung pauh, voters have only one vote to elect the youth chairman, it is not allowed to late, election system using voting technique, voter can not be represented, and voters who have chosen to get a mark are ink on hand. In the election of youth chiefs in Tanjung Pauh Village using democratic principles directly, publicly, freely, secretly, honestly, fairly, elections are implemented democratically, procedurally, transparently, accountably, the government maintains integrity and neutrality, and protects and maintains equal rights voters with a one-vote principle have the same value.Keyword : Election, youth leader, democracy.

Abstract: This study is motivated by problems that arise from observationsmade by researchers. Students do not listen to teachers when explaining lessons, fallasleep during school hours, often disturbing friends while studying, lackingconcentration in learning, cheating on exams, doing homework at school. Problemformulation in this research is (1) How parenting pattern? (2) What is student's interestin learning? (3) What is the study habits of students? (4) How does the parentingpattern influence the learning habits? (5) How does parental parenting and learninghabits influence learning interest? The purpose of this study are (1) to know parentalcare pattern? (2) to know interest in student learning? (3) to know the student's learninghabits? (4) to know the effect of parenting pattern to study habit? (5) to know theinfluence of parental parenting and learning habits towards learning interest ?. Thisresearch is useful for readers to add insight and information about education. Thisresearch method is descriptive quantitative with data collection instrument that isquestionnaire consisting of 16 items of parenting and 10 items of interest and studyhabit. Data analysis using multiple linear regression. Thus the hypothesis which states(1) Parenting pattern of parents of SMP Negeri 14 Pekanbaru majority Democraticwith a percentage of 93.5%. (2) Student interest is very high with 75.5% percentage. (3)Student learning habit is good with percentage 57,76%. (4) there is influence betweenparenting parenting to student learning interest accepted. This is evidenced by multiplelinear regression test between variables X and Y, obtained Fcount> Ftable or 3.782>2.77 (5) there is influence between parenting parenting to student learning habitsaccepted. Absract : This research have background by the victory of Joko Widodo-Jusuf Kalla in the president general election on 2014 at the Meral Sub-district, Karimun Regency, there where on the six political districts in the Meral Sub-district, Karimun Regency was won about Jokowi-Jusuf Kalla with 10.932 votes (64,17%), formulation of the problem in this research is what are the factors of society elect Joko Widodo-Jusuf Kalla in the president general election on 2014 at the Meral Sub-district, Karimun Regency, the purpose of this research is to know the infect factors of the society elect Joko Widodo-Jusuf Kalla in the president general election on 2014 at the Meral Sub-district, Karimun Regency, there was 120 respondents as the samples with the random selesction, 20 respondents taken in the each political district, the sampling technique on this research are use purposive sampling method, data collection instruments are quitionnaire and interview. Result about the anlysis of infect factors of the society elect Joko Widodo-Jusuf Kalla in the president general election on 2014 at the Meral Sub-district, Karimun Regency are personality and human relationship factor that was owned by this two figures with 15,78% percentage, then followed by knowledgement factor with 15,58% percentage, psychology factor with 14,17% percentage, religion factor with 13,6% percentage, leadership factor with 12,13% percentage, communication skill with 10,08% percentage, ethnic and regional cultural factors with 10% percentage, and the last is family factor with 8,5%.Keywords : infect factor, society, electof Joko Widodo-Jusuf Kalla

Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by the fact that in the field, the learning process is currently not being paid attention by the teacher and is sometimes often ignored, this is as is often found in the learning process which shows that the interaction between teachers and students is less effective and efficient which results in less enjoyable learning processes. students are less active, in learning, so the material conveyed is less absorbed by students so that it affects student grades. The formulation of the problem in this study is How Students' Perceptions of Learning Effectiveness of PPKn Teachers at SMK Negeri 1 Tandun, Tandun District, Rokan Hulu Regency. This study aims to determine students' perceptions of the effectiveness of PPKn teacher learning at SMK Negeri 1 Tandun, Tandun District, Rokan Hulu Regency. The benefit of the research results is that it can be used as a school reference for updating or developing learning processes, learning media and so on, especially in PPKn subjects. This research was conducted from June to December 2020. The sampling technique was proportional sampling technique. The sample in this study amounted to 115 people. The data collection techniques used were questionnaire, interview and documentation techniques. In analyzing the data, researchers used quantitative descriptive methods. The results of this study indicate that the percentage of respondents who answered Very Good + Good was 61.5% where the Good Category was in the range 50.01-75%. It can be concluded that students' perceptions of the effectiveness of PPKn teacher learning at SMK Negeri 1 Tandun, Tandun District, Rokan Hulu Regency are in the "Good" category.Key Words: Perception, Learning Effectiveness

Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by problems that arise during observations made by researchers, namely students in SMA Negeri 1 Pekanbaru. still the lack of students and students who obey school rules is also a form of character that is not good, always comes late and does not have the discipline ofself and responsibility. One example of cases of moral decline in students when children are reprimanded by the teacher because they make mistakes, they instead tend to fight the teacher with inappropriate actions. The formulation of the problem in this research is What is a Good Character in SMA Negeri 1 Pekanbaru? The purpose of this research is to find out how good character is at SMA Negeri 1 Pekanbaru. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Pekanbaru in May -October 2019. This study used a quantitative descriptive method. The population in this study were all students in SMA Negeri 1 Pekanbaru, amounting to 948 people from classes X, XI, XII. The sample in this study was taken using a proportional sampling technique with a total of 94 people. Data in this study were collected through observation, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that Good Character is as much as 89% which means "Yes". Students in SMA Negeri 1 Pekanbaru have good character in terms of Knowledge, Feelings, Responses, and actions taken while in the school environment.KeyWords:GoodCharacter

Abstract

Abstrak: This research is motivated by the low motivation to learn PPKn class VII students of Sibolangit 1 Junior High School. The formulation of the problem in this study is: "What is the Effect of the Application of the Indext Card Learning Model Match on the Learning Motivation of Students in Class VII of SMPN 1 Sibolangit" ?. This study aims to determine the effect of the use of the Indext Card Match learning model on PPKn learning motivation for grade VII students of Sibolangit 1 Junior High School. This type of research is experimental research. The study was conducted at Sibolangit 1 Junior High School. Samples from this study were students of class VII1 as an experimental class and students in class VII3 as a control class, this sample was determined randomly after homogeneity testing in all populations. The experimental class is a class that is given a treatment using the Index Card Match learning model, while the control class is the class that is treated using the conventional Conventional method. Based on the analysis of the difference test "t" of the two classes shows t count> t table (38.1> 20.00), which means there is a significant influence between using the card match index learning model with conventional methods. Thus the use of the card match index learning model has a positive and significant influence on students' learning motivation in the class VII PPKn subjects at Sibolangit Middle School 1. Observation activities of teachers who were taught using the card match index model at the first meeting were 93.7% with the "perfect" category and at the second meeting increased to 96.1% with the "perfect" category to determine the level of activity of the experimental teacher from the first meeting and the second meeting was averaged at 97.30% with the category "very perfect". Thus the hypothesis that reads there is the influence of the use of the Indext Card Match learning model on PPKn learning motivation for grade VII students of Sibolangit 1 Junior High School, can be accepted.Key words: Card Match Index, Learning Motivation
