Abstract

Salah satu fungsi dari lapisan Asphalt Concrete Wearing Course (AC-WC) adalah sebagai lapisan penutup (kedap air) untuk mencegah masuknya air kedalam campuran aspal, yang dapat merusak struktur aspal. Resapan air yang berasal dari limpasan air hujan maupun luapan air selokan dapat masuk kedalam aspal, bila lapisan permukaannya tidak sangat kedap. Oleh karenanya perlu campuran AC-WC yang kedap air, yang dapat diperoleh dengan berbagai modifikasi. Salah satu modifikasi tersebut adalah tambahan lateks dalam campuran AC-WC. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari jumlah tumbukan dengan tambahan bahan lateks terhadap campuran AC-WC dilihat dari sifat Marshall. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan membuat rancangan benda uji standar di laboratorium, dilanjutkan dengan pencarian nilai Kadar Aspal Optimum (KAO). Nilai KAO ditambahkan lateks 2% dengan jumlah tumbukan 2x75, 2x100, 2x125 dan 2x150. Hasil dari jumlah tumbukan untuk benda uji tersebut dilakukan uji Marshall untuk mengetahui sifat Marshal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dengan jumlah tumbukan 2x75, 2x100, 2x125 dan 2x150 menghasilkan stabiltas berurutan sebesar 2027 kg, 1751 kg, 1672 kg dan 1760 kg. Nilai flow yang dihasilkan beurutan sebesar 3,3 mm, 1,9 mm, 1,6 mm dan 1,3 mm. Hasil penelitian tersebut menujukkan bahwa dengan jumlah tumbukan lebih dari 2x75 semua benda uji campuran AC-WC dengan tambahan lateks 2% dari KAO tidak memenuhi spesifikasi Bina Marga 2010.

Abstract

Jalan raya merupakan salah satu sektor untuk memacu pertumbuhan ekonomi yang pada dasarnya merupakan sektor utama yang menghubungkan berbagai macam aktivitas ekonomi, sosial, dan budaya. Ketersediaan jalan yang baik dan stabil berpengaruh terhadap kelancaran lalulintas. Pengelolaan yang baik serta pemeliharaan jalan yang terus menerus mampu mempertahankan umur rencana jalan. Mengingat dana yang sangat terbatas yang dialokasikan oleh Pemerintah Kabupaten Aceh Utara setiap tahunnya untuk pemeliharaan jalan, maka perlu dilakukan skala prioritas pelaksanaan pemeliharaan jalan yang ada. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui urutan prioritas penanganan pemeliharaan jalan, berdasarkan data survei yang dianalisis dengan skala Likert. Parameter yang diperhitungkan meliputi kondisi permukaan jalan, lalulintas harian rata-rata, kapasitas jalan dan tingkat pelayanan jalan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode survei dan pengumpulan data di lapangan. Selanjutnya melakukan analisa data untuk dapat mengetahui nilai urutan prioritas berdasarkan parameter yang telah ditentukan. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan pada jalan jalan di kabupaten Aceh Utara, skala prioritas pemeliharaan jalan dilakukan berdasarkan kondisi permukaan jalan dan lalulintas harian rata-rata. Urutan dari skala prioritas pemeliharaan jalan adalah ruas jalan Krueng Mane - Sawang 14 poin (1), ruas jalan Sawang - Riseh Tunong 11 poin (2), ruas jalan Mane Tunong - Pinto Makmur 10 poin (3), ruast jalan Kuta Meuligo - Blang Reuleung 9 poin (4), ruas jalan Menasah Pulo - Teupin Reuseup 8 poin (5), dan ruas jalan Krueng Mane - Bungkah 7 poin (6). Urutan 1-3 masuk dalam peningkatan jalan dan urutan 4-6 merupakan pemeliharaan berkala.

Abstract

This study aims at the influence of organizational culture and transformational leadership on personnel performance with organizational commitment as an intervening variable to the Bener Meriah police station. For the dependent variable of this study is organizational culture and transformational leadership, the independent variable is the personnel performance of the police station. Intervening variables are organizational commitment. The population in this study was the Police Personal of the Bener Meriah District Police which numbered 442, the sampling technique used proportionate stratified random sampling and obtained a sample of 170 respondents who were police officers of the Bener Meriah police station, the research method used was a quantitative method for data analysis method using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM)..

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of the non-refoulement principle in Indonesia, focusing on the protection of Rohingya refugees in Aceh. The issue at hand involves the complex challenges faced due to the partial rejection of Rohingya refugees by some residents of Aceh, highlighting potential violations of international human rights norms. Despite Indonesia not ratifying the 1951 Refugee Convention, the country is bound by international human rights obligations, including the non-refoulement principle, which prohibits the forcible return of refugees to places where they face serious threats to their lives or freedoms. The primary objective of this research is to critically analyze how Indonesia, specifically Aceh, applies this principle and to explore the associated challenges and implications. The study employs a qualitative method, including a thorough review of international legal documents, such as the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR), the 1951 Refugee Convention, and the 1967 Protocol, alongside relevant literature. Findings reveal that while Indonesia shows commitment to non-refoulement, its implementation is inconsistent and hampered by resource constraints, lack of inter-agency coordination, and local resistance. This study's novelty lies in its detailed analysis of local responses, particularly in Aceh, an area often overlooked in previous research. The implications of this study stress the necessity for improved national policies and better coordination between governmental and non-governmental actors to ensure comprehensive protection for refugees. It also highlights that adherence to humanitarian principles can be achieved through practical actions, even in the absence of formal ratification of international conventions.

Abstract

Unimal International Community Service Activities (PKM), this PKM aims to provide support to the Acehnese community of Indonesian Migrant Workers (PMI). This collaboration involves the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia (KBRI) in Kuala Lumpur. The main mission of the Indonesian Embassy's PKM is to provide training and outreach to PMI who face various problems, so that they can avoid illegal practices or abuse of labor. PMI are provided with training appropriate to their professional field, as well as additional understanding and skills to develop their potential and soft skills, so that they can compete and become professional workers abroad. Implementation of the PKM program includes several stages, starting from surveys/explorations, fundraising, technical meetings, holding international PKM seminars, to reporting. From the results of this activity, it can be seen that PMI who took part in the program were able to understand the material presented and receive the information well. Positive responses from PMI were seen throughout the activity, where they felt entertained and could fill their time while waiting for their problems to be resolved. The main target of this activity is to increase PMI competency and independence, as well as improve their soft skills so that in the future, when they no longer work as PMI, they will still have an advantage in the international job market. In this way, PMI's personal protection can be more guaranteed.

Abstract

Waste management has transcended from a mere environmental concern to a pivotal economic opportunity, particularly in urban landscapes. The Government of Lhokseumawe City has issued the Qanun Number 9 of 2015 concerning waste management, a cornerstone in this paradigm shift. This study analyzes the implementation of the Qanun for economic values in Lhokseumawe City and the obstacles faced in its execution. The research adopts a qualitative approach using data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that the full implementation of Qanun Number 9 is hindered by budget constraints at the Environmental Agency (DLH)  of Lhokseumawe City and challenging social environmental conditions, which make waste management difficult to control. Even though DLH has set appropriate waste management targets, obstacles cannot be avoided, including ineffective socialization, apathy towards cleanliness, and difficulties faced by micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in obtaining raw materials for plastic waste. Meanwhile, positive supporting factors were found, including the persistent efforts of officers in carrying out outreach activities, increased public awareness of the importance of cleanliness, and support from village officials in waste management outreach activities carried out by DLH.

Abstract

Gold pawning transactions in Indonesia are currently growing rapidly, both managed by Islamic banking and non-Islamic banking, including non-bank financing institutions. One of the banks holding a gold pawnshop program is Bank Aceh Syariah. The Rahn principle operated by Bank Aceh Syariah uses the Al-qard and Alijarah contracts, namely by renting a safe deposit box (SDB) as a place to store gold, the customer will be charged administrative costs and also the cost of using SDB, and this concept is used by Bank Aceh Syariah Lhokseumawe Branch to provide lower fees to customers compared to other financial institutions and pawnshops. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of brand awareness and brand image on brand trust and customer decisions in using gold pawn products at Bank Aceh Syariah Lhokseumawe Branch. The sample in this study were 150 customers of gold pawning products. The data used is primary data collected through questionnaires distributed via Google form. The data analysis method uses Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) and the Analysis of Moment Structure (Amos) tool. The results showed that brand awareness had a positive and significant effect on brand trust and customer decisions to buy Rahn Bank Aceh Syariah products. Furthermore, brand image was found to have a positive and significant effect on brand trust and customer purchasing decisions. Then brand trust has a positive and significant effect on customer purchasing decisions. In testing the indirect effect, it was found that the brand trust variable was found to mediate the influence of brand awareness and brand image on the customer's purchasing decision for gold pawning products, Bank Aceh Syariah, Lhokseumawe Branch. The results of this research are expected to provide important information for bank managers in developing strategies and planning for banking business, especially gold pawning products.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of workload and adaptability on employee performance through job satisfaction at PT. Indonesian Sharia Bank Lhokseumawe Area. The data in this research used primary data in the form of a questionnaire which was prepared according to the research variable measurement indicators and distributed to 168 employees of PT. Bank Syariah Indonesia Lhokseumawe Area with a sampling technique carried out in the first stage, stratified random sampling, then carried out using a simple random sampling technique on the respondents in this study, employees of PT. Indonesian Sharia Bank Lhokseumawe Area. The data analysis method used is structural analysis (SEM) and processed with the moment of structural analysis (Amos) program, namely a multivariate analysis technique which is a combination of factor analysis and regression analysis which aims to test the relationship between variables in a model , both that are between indicators and constructs, or relationships between constructs. The research results found that there was an influence of workload and adaptability on job satisfaction and workload and adaptability also had an influence on employee performance, then there was an influence of job satisfaction on employee performance. Furthermore, the results of this research show that job satisfaction moderates the influence of workload and adaptability on employee performance.
