Abstract

The methods used for reducing the level of heavy metals have been developed. One of the methods used for reducing the level of Cu metal wastes in waters is the adsorption process. The purpose of this research is to observe the effects of the initial Cu+2 metal ion concentration and the mass of the adsorbent on the capability of tricalcium phosphate (TCP) to adsorb, and also to establish a suitable model of the adsorption kinetics. Add a 500 mL solution of Cu (3 mg/L, 9 mg/L, and 15 mg/L) to tricalcium phosphate (TCP) (1 gram, 2 gram, and 3 gram) in a beaker glass, stirred with a speed of 300 rpm at 30oC. Take the solution of Cu2+ at 0; 30; 1; 1.5; 2; 2.5; 3; and 3.5 minutes, and then analyze the solution of dicentrifuge Cu and Cu by using the Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy (AAS). The research shows that the smaller the concentration of the adsorbent and the bigger the mass of the adsorbent, the bigger the capability of the Cu+2 metal ion to adsorb. The research also obtains the value of the kinetics, with a concentration of 3 mg/L, of 1 gram adsorbent (4.3721 g/mg.min), 2 gram adsorbent (5.4432 g/mg.min), and 3 gram adsorbent (5.4925 g/mg.min). With a concentration of 9 mg/L, 1 gram adsorbent (0.9926 g/mg.min), 2 gram adsorbent (1.1154 g/mg.min), and 3 gram adsorbent (1.4401 g/mg.min). With a concentration of 15 mg/L, 1 gram adsorbent (0.1390 g/mg.min), 2 gram adsorbent (0.2490 g/mg.min), and 3 gram adsorbent (0.4805 g/mg.min). The minimum value of the adsorption kinetics is obtained at 1 gram adsorbent with a concentration of 15 mg/L (0,1390 g/mg.min) and the maximum value of adsorption kinetics constants is obtained at 3 gram adsorbent with a concentration of 3 mg/L (5.4925 g/mg.min).Keyword : kinetic, adsorption, cuprum, tricalciumphosphate (TCP) .

Abstract

Chitin is a biopolymer and can be synthesized from ebi shrimp waste through deproteination and demineralization processes. The purpose of this study was to determine the kinetics of deproteination reaction in chitin isolate with variable reaction temperature and stirring rate. The study began by reacting shrimp waste powder with 3.5% NaOH solution using a ratio of 1:10 at 75 ° C, 85 ° C and 95 ° C and 200 stirring speeds, and 250 rpm in a glass beaker equipped with stirrer. Samples were taken every 10, 20, 30, 50, 70, 90, 110 and 120 minutes as much as 40 mL, then washed until the pH was neutral and the sample filtered. The shrimp powder produced was analyzed using titration method of formol to know the protein content contained in the sample. The results showed that the reaction kinetics follows the pseudo first order equation. The higher the temperature and the speed of stirring given to the deproteination process the greater the concentration produced. The reaction speed constant at 75°C, 85°C and 95°C with 200 rpm stirring speed was obtained at k = 0.0098 min-1 to 0.0217 min-1. While at 250 rpm stirring speed k = 0.0113 min-1 to 0.0255 min-1. The optimal condition available in this study is 95oC with 250 rpm stirring speed so that it produces protein from 14.08% to 0.87%.Key words : Deproteination, chitin, reaction kinetics, ebi shrimp waste, FTIR analysis.

Abstract

In Indonesia, the incidence of bone fractures in 2018 was approximately nine million, with various types of fractures and causes. Hydroxyapatite, Ca₁₀(PO₄)₆(OH)₂ or HAp, is one of the bioceramics commonly used in biomedical applications due to its composition, it has biocompatible and osteoconductive properties and integrates well with bone. The aim of this research is to determine the time required to produce hydroxyapatite (HAp) diameter through the growth of HAp crystals from chicken egg shells. The aim of this study is to examine the effect of reaction temperature (120 and 140°C) and hydrothermal reaction time (1, 3, 4, 5, 7, and 9 hours) on the crystal growth of apatite compounds from Precipitated Calcium Carbonate (PCC) of chicken eggshells. Technically, PCC has advantages such as small particle size (microscale) and homogeneity. HAp is made from PCC and diammonium hydrogen phosphate (NH₄)₂HPO₄ as a phosphate source in the hydrothermal vessel. The HAp produced is characterized using X-ray diffraction (XRD). The HAp crystals obtained are hexagonal in shape with significant precision in the crystalline details of Holly Springs Hydroxyapatite. The good condition process to produced highest crystal diameter of HAp was achieved at a temperature of 140°C, measuring 33.29 nm, with a reaction time of 9 hours. Thus, the higher the reaction temperature and the longer the synthesis time, the larger the HAp crystal diameter

Abstract

This study explores the formulation of sustainable household financial management through the integration of Green House practices and ḥalāl budget allocation, grounded in Ibn Khaldūn’s social change theory. Employing a qualitative library research method supported by secondary data from national statistics and field observations in Indonesian villages, the study finds that conventional household consumption patterns—driven by overconsumption and digital spending habits—have contributed to both environmental degradation and financial instability. The proposed model promotes financial planning that balances consumption, saving, investment, and charitable giving (zakāh, infāq, ṣadaqah), while integrating eco-conscious practices such as waste banks, Sustainable Food House Areas (KRPL), and Climate Resilient Integrated Service Posts (Postaklim). This research contributes to global Islamic finance and sustainability literature by introducing a maqāṣid al-sharī‘ah-aligned household finance framework that operationalizes ethical budgeting and environmental stewardship. It offers a novel interdisciplinary perspective by combining green economy principles with Islamic economic ethics to promote long-term household financial resilience. The model may serve as a benchmark for international studies aiming to develop culturally contextualized frameworks for sustainable finance at the microeconomic level. Future research could apply this model across diverse socio-economic and cultural settings or test its impact quantitatively on household welfare and environmental outcomes.

Abstract

This riset to explore the practices of debt and receivables that occur in households. Secondly, to formulate a sustainable financial literacy policy through digital applications and cooperative innovations, transforming the concept of conventional "lump sum" banks into Sharia-based installment banks. This work utilizes a literature review and netnography as the primary research methods. These approaches are employed to gather data from various social media conversations and observe phenomena related to debt and receivables transactions in society. Data is obtained through literature and documentary studies. The data analysis employs an interpretive approach to interpret the data related to policies in conducting sustainable financial literacy. In Indonesian households, there are various types of debt and receivables practices. These include debt to financial institutions such as banks and nonbank entities, debt through conventional "lump sum" banks, debt to loan sharks, debt through online applications (fintech platforms), debt to neighbors, debt through cooperatives, and debt acquired through rotating savings and credit associations (arisan). Various debt models exist within Indonesian households. Addressing these issues is possible through the implementation of applicationbased financial literacy policies, thereby preventing accumulating debts. The application-based financial literacy policy is employed to prevent debt and receivables practices from exceeding the household's capacity. If debt behavior can be controlled, it will contribute to the realization of sustainable financial models. Previous research has not presented relevant and application-based financial literacy policies. Thus, this research is both relevant and accurate in addressing this gap.
