Abstract

Salah satu pemahaman konsep adalah pada materi fungsi eksponensial. Pemahaman terhadap suatu konsep diperoleh dari proses belajar, di dalam mengikuti proses belajar mengajar setiap siswa memiliki karakteristik gaya belajar yang berbeda. Pemahaman konsep dapat ditingkatkan apabila siswa maupun guru mengenali gaya belajar yang digunakan masing-masing siswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pemahaman konsep pada materi fungsi eksponensial ditinjau dari gaya belajar siswa. Metode dari penelitian ini adalah deskriptif. Instrumen yang digunakan terdiri dari angket gaya belajar, tes pemahaman konsep, dan pedoman wawancara. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah sembilan orang siswa kelas X SMA. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa subjek dengan gaya belajar auditori dan kinestetik memiliki kemampuan pemahaman konsep lebih baik dibanding subjek dengan gaya belajar visual. Subjek dengan gaya belajar visual mampu memenuhi dua indikator pemahaman konsep yaitu indikator 1 dan 2, subjek dengan gaya belajar auditorial mampu memenuhi tiga indikator pemahaman konsep yaitu indikator 1, 2, dan 3, subjek dengan gaya belajar kinestetik mampu memenuhi tiga indikator pemahaman konsep yaitu indikator 1, 2, dan 4.

Abstract

Mathematics that is done in everyday life which functions to facilitate work, transactions and so on is called ethnomathematics. This study aims to describe ethnomathematics in goods distribution activities carried out by online traders. The approach used is a qualitative approach. The number of research subjects was 4 online traders consisting of 2 agents and 2 resellers. The research location is in Sungai Kelambu Village, Tebas District, Sambas Regency. The research was carried out on March 20 and March 25, 2022. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews and documentation. The research procedure was carried out in 4 stages, namely the pre-research stage, data collection, data analysis and report preparation. The research instruments were observation sheets, interview guides, and documentation. The results of the study show that there is ethnomathematics in the distribution of goods carried out by online traders. The ethnomathematical activities in the distribution of goods can be seen in the materials on measurement, assemblage, number arithmetic operations, comparisons, least common multiples (KPK), and social arithmetic.

Abstract

Mathematics can train children to think logically, systematically and as a means of honing their problem-solving skills in everyday life. In learning mathematics, students are required to study mathematics with full serousness so as to obtain good mathematics leraning outcomes. One of the factors that affect how well students learn is attitude. The attitude towards mathematics can be seen from the way students react with mathematics. So that there will be students who have a positive and negative attitude towards mathematics. This study aims to determine how student’s ability to solve problems based on student’s attitudes towards mathematics. The research subjects were 10 students of class VIII C SMP Negeri 01 Jongkat who wereinterviewed with questions about student’s attitudes towards mathematics and then selected 3 students who were positive and 3 students who were negative. The instruments used were tests and interview. The descriptive method is used in this study. Based on the results of the study, it shows that student’s attitudes towards mathematics have a positive effect on the ability to solve math problems. The more positive student’s attitudes towards mathematics will results in an increase in tsudent’s ability to solve math problem

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship of independent learning with students' learning skills assessed from open ended questions in the material of tanggent equations in SMAN 7 Pontianak. The method used is bivariate correlation. The sample used was 30 students of grade 12 science 4 at SMAN 7 Pontianak. The instruments used were independent learning questionnaires and student learning proficiency tests. the results of the study showed that grade 12 science 4 students were in the medium category of Independent Learning, in the moderate category of Student Learning Proficiency, and there was no relationship Between Independent Learning and Student Learning Proficiency with a Spearman Rank value of 0.11.

Abstract

This study aims to describe students' self-concept and reflective thinking skills. Quantitative descriptive is the research method used. Class XI students of SMA Negeri 8 Pontianak is the population used. The sample taken was class XI-C consisting of 32 students selected by purposive sampling. Self-concept questionnaires and tests of reflective thinking skills are the instruments used. Data were analyzed descriptively by using linearity, normality, and correlation tests. Based on the results of calculations using IBM SPSS statistics 25, it was obtained that the average self-concept and students' reflective thinking skills were 70.8% and 65.63% respectively, indicating that class XI-C students at SMA Negeri 8 Pontinak were included in the medium category. While the results of the Kendall's Tau correlation test obtained a significance level of 0.60 and a correlation coefficient of 0.246 and showed no relationship between self-concept and the ability to think reflectively.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the talent of SMP Negeri 02 Banyuke Hulu class VII students who have field independent and field dependent cognitive styles in thinking mathematically and creatively about the subject matter. Descriptive qualitative is the method used in this research. Six seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 02 Banyuke Hulu were used as research subjects. Geft test to assess cognitive style and a description test consisting of three questions and three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, were used to analyze the data. The results showed that two students with field-independent cognitive style can achieve both indicators of fluency and flexibility, but one other student with the same cognitive style can only fulfill one indicator, namely flexibility. It is known that two students can fulfill three criteria of field dependent cognitive style, namely fluency, flexibility, and novelty. Two indicators namely fluency and flexibility can be met by one additional student who has a field dependent cognitive style. Thus students of grade 7 SMP Negeri 02 Banyuke Hulu with cognitive style field independent and field dependent have the ability to think creatively mathematically in the context of flat buildings. In working on description form problems there are still some difficulties students solve problems on the material of flat area.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the need to use technology in education so that it can support the implementation of the independent curriculum which is currently being implemented. In addition, learning mathematics in transformation material requires visualization so that students can understand the teaching material well. Therefore, we need technology-based learning media that can support students' visualization abilities. In this case, the researcher wants to know and describe the effectiveness of using the Canva application as a learning medium for geometry transformation material for class VII at SMP Negeri 13 Pontianak. This study aims to describe the effectiveness of using the Canva application as a learning medium with the following indicators of effectiveness:1) the implementation of learning; 2) student learning outcomes; 3) student responses. This research is useful theoretically and practically for students, teachers, schools, and society. This research uses a qualitative-research where the results of the data will be analyzed descriptively. The research subjects of this study were class VII students at SMP Negeri 13 Pontianak. The object of this research is the effectiveness of using the Canva application as a learning medium based on the independent curriculum on transformation material. To obtain data, indirect observation techniques, measurement techniques and indirect communication techniques are used. The results of this study are that the use of the Canva application as a learning medium is said to be effective with indicators of good performance, indicators of learning outcomes that have passed classical completeness, and more than 70% of students have given positive responses

Abstract

This study aims to develop e-modules that can increase independence and understanding of concepts in learning trigonometric equations for students of Class XI MIA SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Raya. The 4-D development method (Four-D Model) used consists of four phases: definition, design, development, and deployment. The aim of this research is to develop e-modules that can increase independence and conceptual understanding in learning trigonometry equations for Class XI MIA students at SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Raya. The 4-D development model (Four-D Model) used consists of four phases: definition, design, development, and deployment. This research produced an e-model of trigonometry equation material that is valid, practical and can increase students' independence and understanding of concepts. The results of testing the understanding of the material concept of trigonometry equations average pretest 52.21 and posttest 84.85. This is also supported by the acquisition of a calculated score of 0.68 ?0.7. This means they have a better understanding of trigonometry equations. The results of the analysis of the level of learning independence of students obtained an independence level of 81.27%. The average score obtained is 81.27%, and the data shows that the independent learning of students goes well when learning with the developed e-modules. This research produced a product in the form of an e-module of trigonometry equations which was developed to help improve conceptual understanding of teaching materials and to increase students' independence in learning.Pengembangan e-modul yang dapat meningkatkan kemandirian dan pemahaman konsep dalam belajar persamaan trigonometri peserta didik Kelas XI MIA SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Raya merupakan tujuan dari penelitian ini. Model pengembangan 4-D (Model Empat-D) yang digunakan terdiri dari empat fase: definisi, desain, pengembangan, dan penyebaran. Penelitian ini menghasilkan e-model materi persamaan trigonometri yang valid, praktis serta dapat meningkatkan kemandirian dan pemahaman konsep peserta didik. Hasil pengujian pemahaman konsep materi persamaan trigonometri rata-rata pretest 52,21 dan postest 84,85. Hal ini juga didukung dengan perolehan skor hitung sebesar 0,68 0,7. Ini berarti pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang persamaan trigonometri dimiliki oleh mereka. Hasil analisis tingkat kemandirian belajar peserta didik diperoleh tingkat kemandirian sebesar 81,27%. Rata-rata skor yang diperoleh adalah 81,27%, dan data tersebut menunjukkan bahwa kemandirian belajar peserta didik berjalan baik ketika belajar dengan e-modul yang dikembangkan. Penelitian ini menghasilkan produk berupa e-modul persamaan trigonometri yang dikembangkan guna membantu meningkatkan pemahaman konseptual materi ajar dan dapat meningkatkan kemandirian peserta didik dalam belajar.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis service activity began with the publication conditions of lecturers and students which were felt to be very lacking in both proceedings and journals on a national and international scale in West Kalimantan. This form of service is a workshop or training "to create and publish scientific articles in journals or proceedings for lecturers and students at STKIP Singkawang". This workshop was attended by lecturers and final semester students at STKIP Singkawang. The method for creating and publishing this article includes: 1) adapting the published article to applicable writing rules, 2) creating published article guidelines in the form of an opening, introduction, discussion, research methodology, research results, conclusion, and supporting sections. The subjects of this activity were students and lecturers of the mathematics education study program at STKIP Singkawang. The product of this activity is the publication of scientific works for lecturers and students. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews and documentation techniques. The stages of this service activity are: 1) Preparation: determining the location and obtaining permission to carry out this workshop activity; 2) Implementation: holding workshops, analyzing test results, and assisting with the preparation and publication of scientific articles, conducting workshops in class; 3) Final: The output of this activity is an article published in a national journal. The result of this service is the holding of workshop activities in accordance with the steps that have been determined and the holding of guest lectures with STKIP Singkawang. Keywords: Workshop, Publication, Journal or Proceeding   ABSTRAKKegiatan pengabdian ini berawal dari kondisi publikasi dosen dan mahasiswa yang dirasa sangat kurang baik dalam prosiding maupun jurnal skala nasional dan internasional di Kalimantan Barat. Bentuk Pengabdian ini adalah workshop atau pelatihan “membuat dan mempublikasikan artikel ilmiah pada jurnal atau prosiding bagi dosen dan mahasiswa di STKIP Singkawang”. Workshop ini diikuti oleh dosen dan mahasiswa semester akhir di STKIP Singkawang. Cara pembuatan dan penerbitan artikel ini meliputi: 1) menyesuaikan artikel publikasi dengan kaidah penulisan yang berlaku, 2) membuat pedoman artikel publikasi berupa pembukaan, pendahuluan, pembahasan, metodologi penelitian, hasil penelitian, penutup, dan bagian pendukung. Subyek kegiatan ini adalah mahasiswa dan dosen program studi pendidikan matematika di STKIP Singkawang. Produk dari kegiatan ini berupa publikasi karya ilmiah bagi dosen dan mahasiswa. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Adapun tahapan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah: 1) Persiapan: penentuan lokasi dan mendapatkan izin pelaksanaan dalam kegiatan perbengkelan ini; 2) Pelaksanaan: mengadakan lokakarya, menganalisis hasil tes, dan membantu persiapan dan persiapan publikasi artikel ilmiah, melakukan lokakarya di kelas; 3) Final: Keluaran dari kegiatan ini adalah artikel yang diterbitkan dalam jurnal nasional. Abstract

Pemahaman konsep merupakan syarat yang wajib diraih oleh siswa. Sebuah model yang dianggap dapat memudahkan siswa dalam memahami konsep suatu materi adalah model discovery learning. Discovery learning adalah sebuah model yang digunakan guru dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran dengan tujuan agar siswa dapat memahami materi melalui proses menemukan, menyelidiki serta menyimpulkan sendiri dari sebuah permasalahan yang dihadapi dalam pembelajaran matematika. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah pre-experimental designs jenis rancangan one-group pretest-posttest. Alat pengumpulan data berupa: lembar pre-test dan post-test, lembar observasi, lembar angket, serta intrumen pendukung berupa: RPP dan LKPD. Metode analisis data berupa: analisis deskriptif dan inferensial. Dari hasil penelitian, didapatkan hasil pencapaian seluruh siswa pada pemahaman konsep bangun datar segiempat yaitu: indikator “menyatakan ulang sebuah konsep” dari data pre-test tergolong kategori kurang dan dari data post-test tergolong kategori baik. Indikator “mengklasifikasikan objek menurut sifat – sifat tertentu” dari data pre-test tergolong kategori sangat baik dan dari data post-test tergolong kategori sangat baik, Indikator “mengaplikasikan konsep atau algoritma dalam pemecahan masalah” dari data pre-test tergolong kategori kurang sekali dan dari data post-test tergolong kategori kurang, terdapat peningkatan antara sebelum dan setelah menggunakan model discovery learning, dan terjadi peningkatan dengan nilai n-gain 0,53 kategori sedang.
