Abstract

The purpose of the study was to describe the state of student satisfaction in online learning during covid 19 in terms of tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy dimensions and to examine the effect of satisfaction and cognitive style on student learning outcomes in participating in online learning during covid 19. The form of the research used mixed methods with commensurate status, namely using a qualitative descriptive approach and quantitative analysis. The research was conducted at FKIP Untan Pontianak, Mathematics Education Study Program. As the main independent variable is cognitive style and the second independent variable is learning satisfaction. The dependent variable is learning outcomes. The research sample is students who take the mathematics learning process assessment course for the 2021/2022 academic year. This study uses 3 instruments, namely the cognitive style scale, learning satisfaction questionnaire and learning outcomes test. Hypothesis testing is a two-way ANOVA test. The results showed (a) students who had a free cognitive style were as much as 43.47% and students who had a dependent cognitive style were 56.52%. (b) Satisfaction aspects, Tangibles, Reliability, Responsivenes, Assurance and Empathy are classified as high. Research conclusions: (1) The average percentage of very satisfactory and satisfactory satisfaction levels is greater than the average percentage of unsatisfactory and unsatisfactory levels of satisfaction for all dimensions of tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. (2) a. The learning outcomes of students who have a free cognitive style are higher than the learning outcomes of students who have a dependent cognitive style, (b) Cognitive style factors and satisfaction factors do not affect jointly on student learning outcomes, (c) Students who have a level of learning satisfaction high, learning outcomes with independent cognitive styles are higher than student learning outcomes with dependent cognitive styles, (d) students with low levels of learning satisfaction, learning outcomes with independent cognitive styles are higher than student learning outcomes with dependent cognitive styles.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah mendeskripsikan kesalahan 26 orang peserta didik di kelas VIIIE SMP Negeri 11 Pontianak dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal fungsi. Kesalahan tersebut dianalisis berdasarkan tahapan Kastolan, serta mencari faktor yang memengaruhi peserta didik melakukan kesalahan tersebut internal maupun eksternal. Metode kualitatif deskriptif digunakan peneliti untuk menganalisis jawaban peserta didik guna mengetahui jenis kesalahan yang dilakukan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dari jawaban peserta didik dikelas VIIIE SMP Negeri 11 Pontianak, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kesalahan prosedural adalah yang banyak dilakukan oleh peserta didik dengan persentase kesalahan sebesar 32%. Kesalahan konseptual dan kesalahan teknikal juga ditemukan pada jawaban peserta didik dalam bentuk kesalahan penulisan simbol, kesalahan perhitungan, dan menuliskan jawaban yang tidak sesuai dengan perintah soal. Persentase kesalahan konseptual sebesar 3% dan kesalahan teknikal sebesar 15%. Berdasarkan hasil observasi pada saat pelaksanaan tes dan evaluasi jawaban peserta didik, dapat dikatakan bahwa data valid untuk dianalisis. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara dengan peserta didik dan guru, faktor internal yang memengaruhi kesalahan tersebut diantaranya ketidakmampuan peserta didik memanipulasi langkah-langkah untuk menjawab suatu masalah, tidak menuliskan jawaban secara lengkap, dan tidak memahami materi fungsi. Faktor eksternal yang memengaruhi kesalahan tersebut diantaranya waktu pembelajaran yang minim, guru kurang siap dalam menghadapi perubahan zaman dan perkembangan teknologi.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and describe the ability to think creatively mathematically on solving problems of a two-variable linear equation system at SMK PGRI Pontianak. The method used in this study is a qualitative description. Sources of data in this study were students of class X SMK PGRI Pontianak. The instrument used to conduct the research is a mathematical creative thinking ability test for solving SPLDV problems, namely the fluency indicator is included in the low category with a score of 38% of 13 participants, the flexibility indicator is in the medium category with a number of 69% of 13 participants, and the original indicator is in the low category with a rate of 46% from 13 participants. Thus, it is concluded that the creative thinking ability of class X is at level 0 or not creative thinking.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berbentuk eksperimen yang bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh penggunaan E-learning disertai video pembelajaran terhadap literasi matematika pada materi Matriks pada peserta didik kelas XI Man di Pontianak. Populasi penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas XI MIPA MAN di Pontianak. Sampel penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas XI MIPA 1 dan kelas XI MIPA 2. Kelas XI MIPA 2 sebagai kelas kontrol menggunakan WhatsApp dan Google Meet disertai video pembelajaran. Sedangkan kelas XI MIPA 1 merupakan kelas eksperimen dengan menggunakan E-learning disertai dengan video pembelajaran. Serta untuk alat pengumpulan datanya sendiri peneliti menggunakan lembar observasi dan soal tes. Lembar observasi yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi pelaksanaan pembelajaran. Soal tes yang digunakan adalah tes literasi matematika. Data pretest dan posttest dianalisis menggunakan uji-t setelah memenuhi uji homogenitas dan uji normalitas. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa thitung = 1,655 lebih besar dari ttabel = 1,424. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan penggunaan Google Classroom dengan video pembelajaran terhadap literasi matematika peserta didik.

Abstract

ABSTRAKTujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah melakukan bimbingan teknis instrument penilaian pendukung perkuliahan berbasis masalah dan proyek untuk meningkatkan pemahaman, pengetahuan, dan keterampilan dosen-dosen di Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Kalimantan Barat. Pengabdian ini berawal dari dari kesepakatan antara kerjasama antara dua Universitas dengan bersepakat mengambil satu sasaran yang perlu dibahas dan disajikan dalam instrument penilaian saat ini adalah instrument yang berbasis masalah atau proyek yang tersusun dengan format yang sama dalam satu perguruan tinggi. Metode yang digunakan untuk mencapai tujuan pengabdian ditempuh melalui pendekatan bimbingan teknis yaitu bimbingan yang diberikan oleh tenaga ahli atau professional dibidangnya dengan tujuan: 1) meningkatkan kualitas sember daya manusia; 2) memperbaiki koordinasi kerja; 3) mengoptimalkan kompetensi dosen; dan 4) peningkatan kinerja insitusi. Tahapan pelaksanaan kegiatan menggunakan langkah-langkah: 1) identifikasi masalah pembelajaran terkhusus kebutuan evaluasi pembelajaran; 2) menyesuaikan evaluasi pembelajaran dengan capaian pembelajaran; 3) menetapkan perangkat asesmen berdasarkan soal-soal bertipe hots; 4) membuat instrument pembelajaran dalam satu format yang sama dengan melakukan bimbingan teknis penyusunan. Dari hasil pengabdian diperoleh sebagai berikut: 1) pelaksanaan pengabdian dosen-dosen di universitas nadhlatul ulama yang bertujuan melakukan bimbingan teknis penyusunan instrument penilaian pendukung perkuliahan berbasis masalah dan proyek; 2) membuat format penilaian yang serempak dan disepakati dan kemudian menjadi dasar bimbingan teknis penyusunan; 3) terdapat produk instrument penilaian berdasarkan format penilaian yang tersusun dan mata kuliah yang diampu. Kata kunci: instrumen penilaian; bimbingan teknis; berbasis masalah dan proyek ABSTRACTThe purpose of this community service activity is to carry out technical guidance on problem-based and project-based lecture supporting assessment instruments to improve the understanding, knowledge, and skills of lecturers at Nahdlatul Ulama University, West Kalimantan. This dedication stems from an agreement between the collaboration between the two universities by agreeing to take one target that needs to be discussed and presented in the current assessment instrument, which is a problem- or project-based instrument that is structured in the same format in one college. The method used to achieve the goal of dedication is taken through a technical guidance approach, namely guidance provided by experts or professionals in their field with the objectives of: 1) improving the quality of human resources; 2) improve work coordination; 3) optimizing the competence of lecturers; and 4) increasing institutional performance. The stages of implementing activities use the steps: 1) identification of learning problems, especially the needs of learning evaluation; 2) adapting learning evaluations to learning outcomes; 3) determine the assessment tools based on hot questions; 4) make learning instruments in the same format by carrying out technical guidance on preparation. From the results of the dedication, the following were obtained: 1) the implementation of the dedication of lecturers at Nadhlatul Ulama University which aims to provide technical guidance for the preparation of problem-based and project-based lecture support assessment instruments; 2) create an assessment format that is unanimous and agreed upon and then becomes the basis for technical guidance for preparation; 3) there is an assessment instrument product based on the structured assessment format and the subjects taught. Keywords: assessment tools; technical guidance; problem-based and projects

Abstract

The rapid spread of the Covid-19 infection requires all learning to switch from face-to-face learning to online learning to break the chain of infection transmission. This learning does not fully run smoothly due to limitations and the availability of supporting media. Not all educators and students have an understanding of using internet media. only google meet is fast to use for distance learning. The Google Meet application provides features that support the implementation of bold learning, is free and uses web quota that is more efficient or more stable. Which aims to be a place for learning that is carried out online learning during the covid. This of course makes it easier for students (students and students) to access Google Meet compared to other media platforms. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using Google Meet as a learning medium during the Covid-19 pandemic. The method used is a qualitative method, namely by obtaining an in-depth understanding, developing theory, describing how the Google Meet application works. The data collected beforehand was directly in class, while the case of Covid 19 could not collect data directly. Research shows that Google Meet was very effective in being used in the teaching process during the Covid 19 period, because it was very easy to access and there was no need to pay and can be used anywhere and anytime.

Abstract

This study aims to observe the learning process as long as students attend lectures and increase their average learning outcomes using the PBL model by utilizing google slides. The type of research used is quanti-tative. The research method used is a quasi-experimental design in the form of a nonequivalent kontrol group design, meaning that the implementation of the study uses two groups of subjects to be designated as the experimental class and the kontrol class. Time and place of research in rooms 3 and 4 of FKIP Tan-jungpura University whose research was carried out on September 14, 2022. The population was 3 regular classes in the mathematics education study program that taught linear programming courses, while the samples were selected for class VA1 as the experimental class and VA2 as the class. kontrol through a ran-dom draw, each of which amounted to 22 students. The results of the research and data analysis, it can be concluded that the use of the Google Slide-based PBL model is effective on student learning outcomes in the fifth semester linear program material for the Mathematics Education Study Program, FKIP Tanjungpura University. With the results of the hypothesis using the t test, it is obtained which means that it is rejected and accepted so that it can be concluded that the average learning outcomes of students using the SCL model using google slides are better than the TCL learning model. There is also a significant difference in this study, namely learning outcomes in the experimental class with an initial average of 51.55% and then increasing to 81.23%. From the use of google slides in the SCL model, it can improve student learning out-comes both after receiving treatment in the form of the learning process that has been carried out.

Abstract

The background of this research is the use of online evaluation of mathematics learning and cognitive level in end-of-semester assessment questions (PAS) based on the revised Bloom's Taxonomy. The purpose is to find out what types of evaluation tests are used during online learning and the cognitive level contained in the questions. The method used in this research is quantitative research with data collection tools including end-of-semester assessment questions (PAS) for class VIII mathematics, questionnaires, and interview guidelines. Mathematics teacher and 29 students of class VIII are the subjects of this research. From the analysis carried out, the cognitive levels contained in the mathematics PAS questions are; level 1 includes knowing & understanding (C1 & C2), level 2 applying (C3), and level 3 consisting of analyzing (C4), and the types of evaluation tests used are assignments, daily assessments, post-tests, midterm assessments, and end of semester assessment.

Abstract

The aims of this study are to: a) develop Socrates-based mathematical statistics teaching materials; b) testing the quality of teaching materials in terms of validity, effectiveness, and practicality. The research was carried out in the even semester of 2021/2022 in the fourth semester of the mathematical statistics course for all classes. This study uses a development method using a 4-D model consisting of 4 main stages, namely define, design, develop, disseminate. The product developed is in the form of teaching materials that have been tested for feasibility with content validity, effectiveness tests by analyzing student learning outcomes after the teaching materials are used and practicality tests through student response analysis. The collection techniques and instruments are: 1) indirect communication techniques with the instruments being expert validation questionnaires and response questionnaires for instrument validation and student responses; 2) the measurement technique with the instrument is a test of learning outcomes for the effectiveness of the product; 3) direct communication techniques with interview sheets as instruments to find out the advantages and disadvantages of teaching materials when used for students. The data analysis techniques are: a) describe or describe each step of development with a 4-D model; b) expert validation analysis on the feasibility of teaching materials, namely qualitative descriptive, the results of the study are stated in the form of logical analysis; c) calculation of the validity of the assessment results and validation of the consistency of the experts using Aiken's formulation. The overall research results are: 1) the development of Socrates-based mathematical statistics teaching materials is carried out according to the main 4-D stages in sequence; 2) Socrates-based mathematical statistics teaching materials have content validity and reliability with very high criteria; 3) student learning outcomes after using Socrates-based mathematics teaching materials are classified as high criteria. So it can be concluded that the teaching materials developed are effective.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini berawal dari data publikasi dosen dan mahasiswa dalam prosiding maupun jurnal ilmiah berskala nasional maupun internasional yang masih kurang baik di Kalimantan barat. Oleh karena itu, terkhusus kegiatan pengabdian ini berlokasi di STKIP Singkawang bertujuan bekerjasama secara berkala dalam mengelola tata cara publikasi jurnal yang sistematis dan berkualitas sehingga mampu terbit dalam jurnal berskala nasional maupun internasional. Bentuk pengabdian ini adalah workshop atau pelatihan menghasilkan produk artikel ilmiah yang dipublikasikan. Metode pembuatan dan publikasi meliputi: 1) menyesuaikan artikel publikasi dengan aturan penulisan yang berlaku; 2) melakukan bimbingan artikel dari tahap pendahuluan, metodologi, hasil dan pembahasan, penutup, dan bagian lain; 3) menggunakan cek mendeley untuk kutipan dan cek plagiasi dengan akun ithenticate ataupun turnitin. Subjek PkM adalah mahasiswa dan dosen program studi pendidikan matematika STKIP Singkawang. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, interview, dokumentasi. Alat pengumpul data berupa lembar pengamatan, wawancara, dan lembar dokumentasi. Tahapan PkM meliputi 1) persiapan: penetapan tempat, ijin pelaksanaan; 2) pelaksanaan: melaksanakan workshop, analisis hasil tes, dan pendampingan dalam pembuatan dan penyusunan publikasi artikel ilmiah; 3) akhir: luaran pengabdian berupa publikasi artikel di jurnal nasional. Hasil pengabdian ini adalah terlaksananya kegiatan workshop sesuai dengan langkah yang ditetapkan dan terjalinnya kuliah kunjungan ke STKIP Singkawang.
