Abstract

Abstrak             Program ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi kendala-kendala dan mencatat kebuntuan sehingga pertentangan (konflik) yang sama tidak akan muncul lagi untuk selanjutnya dengan menganalisis dan menyimpan alasan jalan buntu, dan menggunakannya untuk memandu keputusan doing math masa depan. Satu kendala proses pembelajaran matematika selama ini adalah karena dijalankannya latihan pra-pemrosesan atau tetapi melakukan pencarian mundur. Sementara, kendala baru disajikan dari suatu algoritma yang menemui situasi jalan buntu, atau melalui pendekatan induksi pada saat seharusnya tidak dilakukan. Kendala ini tidak membantu sewaktu strategi kendali mundur digunakan dan tidak akan pernah terulang kembali. Sebaliknya, fakta matematis yang muncul akan bertentangan dengan struktur sistem, sehingga terekam informasi dalam bentuk kendala eksplisit baru. Bahan ajar (modul pembelajaran) yang ada saat ini masih bersifat mandiri, jauh dari skema representasi masalah dan algoritma untuk memecahkannya. Peserta pengabdian adalah guru MGMP Pendidikan Matematika di Kabupaten Mempawah. Metode pelaksanaan dilakukan dalam tujuh tahap. Hasil kegiatan ini adalah guru MGMP Pendidikan Matematika di Mempawah teramati selalu berhadapan dengan kemampuan penyelesaian masalah. Ternyata, mereka masih harus dibekali agar berkemampuan: representasi, operasionalisasi, menyusun hipotesis-hipotesis alternatif dan prosedur kerja, mengetes hipotesis untuk memperoleh hasilnya, dan memeriksa kembali. Kata kunci: kendala kepuasan; model penanganan; matematika. AbstractThis program aims to explore obstacles and record deadlocks so that similar conflicts will not arise again in the future by analyzing and storing the reasons for deadlocks, and using them to guide future math doing decisions. One obstacle in the mathematics learning process so far is due to carrying out pre-processing exercises or doing backward searches. Meanwhile, new constraints are presented from an algorithm that reaches a deadlock situation, or through an induction approach when it should not be used. This constraint is not helpful when a reverse control strategy is used and will never be repeated. On the other hand, the mathematical facts that emerge will conflict with the structure of the system, so that information is recorded in the form of new explicit constraints. The current teaching materials (learning modules) are still independent, far from problem representation schemes and algorithms for solving them. Service participants are MGMP Mathematics Education teachers in Mempawah Regency. The method for implementing community service activities is carried out in seven stages. The result of this activity was that MGMP Mathematics Education teachers in Mempawah were observed to always be dealing with problem solving abilities. Apparently, they still have to be equipped to be able to: represent, operationalize, develop alternative hypotheses and work procedures, test hypotheses to obtain results, and check again. Keywords: satisfaction constraints; handling model; mathematics.

Abstract

AbstrakPengabdian ini merupakan pelaksanaan lanjutan dari kedua instituti yaitu untan dan unu kalbar untuk memajukan mutu perguruan tinggi di perguruan swasta. Tujuannya adalah memperkenalkan fitur-fitur kurikulum baru. Tujuan dari perangkat pembelajaran tersebut adalah untuk memasukkan pendidikan karakter untuk memfasilitasi perwujudan Profil Pancasila dan enam dimensinya. Pengabdian ini dilaksanakan di Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Kalimantan Barat dan dilaksanakan dalam bentuk bantuan pembuatan alat desain pembelajaran semester dengan menggunakan pembelajaran berbasis model dan studi kasus. Langkah-langkah pelaksanaan kegiatannya adalah:. 1) Mengidentifikasi permasalahan pembelajaran yang bersifat umum dan khusus,  2) Merumuskan hasil belajar yang berbeda, 3) Menentukan alat penilaian yang diperlukan, 4) Mengembangkan proses pembelajaran kurikulum baru, 5) Memasukkan tujuan pembelajaran ke dalam rencana pembelajaran. Hasil dari layanan pendampingan ini adalah: 1) Membantu pembuatan RPS sampai selesai, 2) RPS yang terdokumentasi sebagai acuan proses pembelajaran, 3) terciptanya kurikulum baku di UNU Kalbar berpedoman dengan aturan kemenristekdikti. Kata kunci: rencana pembelajaran semester; pembelajaran berbasis masalah; pembelajaran berbasis proyek AbstractThis service is a continued implementation of the two institutes, namely untan and unu kalbar to advance the quality of higher education in private universities. The aim is to introduce the features of the new curriculum. The purpose of the learning tools is to incorporate character education to facilitate the realization of the Pancasila Profile and its six dimensions. This service was carried out at the Nahdlatul Ulama University of West Kalimantan and was carried out in the form of assistance in making semester learning design tools using model-based learning and case studies. The steps of implementing the activities are:. 1) Identifying general and specific learning problems, 2) Formulate different learning outcomes, 3) Determine the necessary assessment tools, 4) Develop a new curriculum learning process, 5) Incorporate learning objectives into the learning plan. The results of this mentoring service are: 1) Assist in making the RPS until it is completed, 2) Documented RPS as a reference for the learning process, 3) the creation of a standardized curriculum at UNU Kalbar is guided by the rules of Kemenristekdikti. Keywords: semester learning plan; problem based learning; project based learning

Abstract

AbstrakKegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di wilayah perbatasan Entikong, yang menghadapi tantangan dalam layanan pembelajaran, beban mengajar, dan kepemimpinan akademik. Masalah utama yang diidentifikasi adalah rendahnya kualitas proses pembelajaran akibat keterbatasan sumber daya dan dukungan akademik. PKM ini dilakukan melalui kerja sama antara perguruan tinggi dan sekolah di Entikong, melibatkan 55 peserta, terdiri dari guru, dosen, dan mahasiswa di lingkup STKIP wilayah Entikong. Kegiatan berfokus pada tiga aspek utama: layanan pembelajaran, beban mengajar, dan kepemimpinan akademik. Metode yang digunakan meliputi pendampingan intensif, pelatihan guru, pengembangan materi ajar berbasis konteks lokal, dan pemanfaatan teknologi pembelajaran. Selain itu, dilakukan penguatan kapasitas kepala sekolah dalam kepemimpinan dan manajemen pendidikan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran dengan meningkatnya kompetensi guru dalam menerapkan pembelajaran berbasis teknologi. Beban kerja guru juga lebih terkelola, sehingga perhatian kepada siswa meningkat. Dari sisi kepemimpinan akademik, terdapat peningkatan partisipasi kepala sekolah dalam pengelolaan kegiatan pendidikan. Secara deskriptif kualitatif, para peserta menyatakan model pendampingan membantu memahami strategi pembelajaran yang lebih efektif. Secara kuantitatif, terdapat peningkatan partisipasi aktif guru selama proses pendampingan. Model pendampingan ini terbukti fleksibel dan dapat diterapkan dalam konteks pendidikan lainnya, sehingga dapat menjadi model alternatif dalam pengembangan pendidikan di wilayah perbatasan. Kata kunci: iklim akademik; pengabdian Masyarakat; model pendampingan AbstractThis Community Service Program (PKM) aims to improve the quality of education in the border area of Entikong, which faces challenges related to teaching services, teachers' workload, and academic leadership. The main problem identified is the suboptimal learning process caused by limited resources and academic support. The PKM is conducted through collaboration between higher education institutions and schools in Entikong, involving 55 respondents, including teachers, lecturers, and students from STKIP Entikong. The program focuses on three main aspects: teaching services, teachers' workload, and academic leadership. The methods employed include intensive mentoring, teacher training, the development of contextually relevant teaching materials, and the integration of technology into the learning process. Additionally, the program enhances the capacity of school principals in leadership and educational management. The results indicate an improvement in teaching quality, as evidenced by increased teacher competence in implementing technology-based learning. The teachers' workload has become more manageable, allowing them to give better attention to students. Regarding academic leadership, there is an increase in school principals' participation in managing educational activities. Qualitatively, participants reported that the adapted mentoring model has assisted them in understanding and applying more effective teaching strategies. Quantitatively, there was a 30% increase in active teacher participation during the mentoring process. This mentoring model has proven to be flexible and adaptable to various educational contexts, making it a promising alternative for educational development in border areas. Keywords: academic climate; community service; mentoring model

Abstract

Abstrak Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan mengenai HKI dan dokumen serta prosedur pengajuan HKI bagi Dosen, Mahasiswa dan Calon Guru. Pengabdian ini dilaksanakan dalam bentuk pelatihan dan demonstrasi pegajuan HKI yang bermitra dengan Universitas Oesman Sapta Oedang Pontianak Kalimantan Barat dan dilaksanakan ditempat tersebut. Untuk pengumpulan data, teknik dan instrumen yang dipilih berupa teknik kuisioner dengan instrumen kuisioner yang disebar melalui google form sebagai alatnya dan dokumen-dokumen untuk mengetahui peningkatan pengetahuan peserta sebelum dan setelah mengikuti pelatihan. Peserta dari pelatihan ini merupakan 17 Dosen dan 34 Mahasiswa dari Univesitas Oesman Sapta Oedang yang tersebar dari 5 program studi yang berbeda serta calon guru dari Universitas Tanjungpura dengan rincian kegiatan sebagai berikut. Demikian diperoleh hasil pelatihan yaitu meningkat sebesar 83.40% pada kategori tahu sampai sangat tahu tentang pemahaman peserta mengenai urgensi memiliki HKI pada produk atau ide kreatif dan invatif, jenis-jenis HKI, dokumen yang diperlukan saat pengajuan, prosedur pengajuan. Selain itu untuk pemahaman diperolah 54% pada kategori sangat tahu tentang pemahaman dan kebermanfaatan 63% diperoleh pada kebermanfaatan. Kata kunci: hak kekayaan intelektual; dosen, mahasiswa; calon guru profesional Abstract The purpose of community service activities is to increase knowledge about IPR and documents and procedures for submitting IPR for Lecturers, Students and Prospective Teachers. This service is carried out in the form of training and demonstration of IPR submission in partnership with Oesman Sapta Oedang University, Pontianak, West Kalimantan and carried out at the location. For data collection, the techniques and instruments chosen are questionnaire techniques with questionnaire instruments distributed via Google Form as the tool and documents to determine the increase in participants' knowledge before and after participating in the training. Participants in this training were 17 Lecturers and 34 Students from Oesman Sapta Oedang University spread across 5 different study programs and prospective teachers from Tanjungpura University with the following details of the activities. Thus, the results of the training were obtained, namely an increase of 83.40% in the category of knowing to very knowing about participants' understanding of the urgency of having IPR on creative and innovative products or ideas, types of IPR, documents required when submitting, and submission procedures. In addition, for understanding, 54% were obtained in the category of very knowledgeable about understanding and 63% were obtained in the category of usefulness. Keywords: intellectual property rights; lecturers; students; prospective professional teachers

Abstract

The aims of this study are to: a) develop Socrates-based mathematical statistics teaching materials; b) testing the quality of teaching materials in terms of validity, effectiveness, and practicality. The research was carried out in the even semester of 2021/2022 in the fourth semester of the mathematical statistics course for all classes. This study uses a development method using a 4-D model consisting of 4 main stages, namely define, design, develop, disseminate. The product developed is in the form of teaching materials that have been tested for feasibility with content validity, effectiveness tests by analyzing student learning outcomes after the teaching materials are used and practicality tests through student response analysis. The collection techniques and instruments are: 1) indirect communication techniques with the instruments being expert validation questionnaires and response questionnaires for instrument validation and student responses; 2) the measurement technique with the instrument is a test of learning outcomes for the effectiveness of the product; 3) direct communication techniques with interview sheets as instruments to find out the advantages and disadvantages of teaching materials when used for students. The data analysis techniques are: a) describe or describe each step of development with a 4-D model; b) expert validation analysis on the feasibility of teaching materials, namely qualitative descriptive, the results of the study are stated in the form of logical analysis; c) calculation of the validity of the assessment results and validation of the consistency of the experts using Aiken's formulation. The overall research results are: 1) the development of Socrates-based mathematical statistics teaching materials is carried out according to the main 4-D stages in sequence; 2) Socrates-based mathematical statistics teaching materials have content validity and reliability with very high criteria; 3) student learning outcomes after using Socrates-based mathematics teaching materials are classified as high criteria. So it can be concluded that the teaching materials developed are effective.

Abstract

Abstrak Tujuan dari workshop persiapan akreditasi ini secara umum adalah untuk mempersiapkan sumber daya lembaga, program studi, dosen maupun mahasiswa yang berorientasi ke masa depan dan ditempa dengan transformasi pendidikan tinggi sehingga menjadi lembaga, program studi, dosen dan mahasiswa yang unggul, semangat bekerja di lingkungan jurusan PMIPA tersebut dengan berpedoman kepada tridharma perguruan tinggi. Pengabdian ini diselenggarakan secara hybrid dengan cara daring melalui zoom meeting dan luring di Aula FKIP, Ruang Kelas, dan ruangan belajar lainnya yang berguna dalam kegiatan pelaksanaan yang akan dilaksanakan secara berkesinambungan atau keberlanjutan antara bulan Maret sampai dengan November 2025. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengadbian dilaksanakan melalui beberapa tahapan, yaitu tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan, evaluasi, dan tindak lanjut. Tahap persiapan dilakukan melalui koordinasi dengan pimpinan jurusan dan program studi, analisis kebutuhan, penyusunan materi serta perangkat kegiatan, dan sosialisasi kepada peserta. Tahap pelaksanaan dilakukan melalui workshop yang mencakup pemahaman dasar akreditasi, pelatihan penyusunan dokumen LED dan LKPS, simulasi asesmen lapangan, serta penguatan mutu tridharma dan penyusunan rencana tindak lanjut program studi. Tahap evaluasi dilakukan melalui penilaian proses, hasil, dan keberlanjutan kegiatan menggunakan observasi dan angket umpan balik peserta. Selanjutnya, tahap tindak lanjut dilakukan melalui pembentukan tim pendamping akreditasi, pendampingan penyusunan dokumen secara berkelanjutan, pelaksanaan simulasi asesmen internal, serta monitoring dan evaluasi untuk memastikan kesiapan program studi dalam menghadapi akreditasi dan peningkatan mutu akademik secara berkelanjutan. Secara umum, hasil kegiatan menunjukkan antusiasme dan partisipasi aktif dari dosen serta mahasiswa. Banyak peserta yang menunjukkan pemahaman lebih baik terhadap proses akreditasi dan pentingnya konstribusi masing-masing dalam menjaga mutu program studi. Selain itu, kegiatan ini turut mendorong dosen untuk lebih memahami dan bersemangat dalam pengajuan jabatan fungsional serta kenaikan pangkat di lingkungan Universitas Tanjungpura. Dengan demikian, kegiatan Pengabdian ini tidak hanya menghasilkan kesepahaman Bersama terkait persiapan akreditasi, tetapi juga menumbuhkan budaya akademik yang kolaboratif dan berorientasi mutu di Lingkungan Jurusan PMIPA FKIP Untan. Kata kunci: akreditasi; program studi; jurusan; workshop. Abstract The general objective of this accreditation preparation workshop is to prepare institutional resources, study programs, lecturers, and students who are future-oriented and shaped by higher education transformation so that they become excellent institutions, study programs, lecturers, and students who are enthusiastic about working in the PMIPA department environment by adhering to the three pillars of higher education. This service is conducted in a hybrid manner, both online via Zoom meetings and offline in the FKIP Hall, classrooms, and other learning spaces that are useful for the implementation of activities that will be carried out continuously from March to November 2025. The implementation of the community service activities was carried out in several stages, namely the preparation stage, implementation stage, evaluation stage, and follow-up stage. The preparation stage was carried out through coordination with the department and study program leaders, needs analysis, preparation of materials and activity tools, and socialization to participants. The implementation stage is carried out through workshops covering basic understanding of accreditation, training in the preparation of LED and LKPS documents, field assessment simulations, and strengthening the quality of the tridharma and preparation of follow-up plans for study programs. The evaluation stage is carried out through assessment of the process, results, and sustainability of activities using observation and participant feedback questionnaires. Next, the follow-up stage was carried out through the formation of an accreditation assistance team, ongoing assistance in document preparation, implementation of internal assessment simulations, as well as monitoring and evaluation to ensure the readiness of study programs in facing accreditation and continuous improvement of academic quality. In general, the results of the activities showed enthusiasm and active participation from lecturers and students. Many participants demonstrated a better understanding of the accreditation process and the importance of their respective contributions in maintaining the quality of the study program. Additionally, this activity encouraged lecturers to better understand and be more enthusiastic about applying for functional positions and promotions within Tanjungpura University. Thus, this community service activity not only resulted in a common understanding regarding accreditation preparation but also fostered a collaborative and quality-oriented academic culture within the PMIPA Department of FKIP Untan. Keywords: accreditation; study programs; departments; workshop.

Abstract

Purpose: Critical thinking is widely recognized as a core competency for 21st-century learners; however, assessment practices in schools continue to prioritize cognitive outcomes through conventional testing methods. As a result, non-cognitive aspects of critical thinking, particularly critical thinking dispositions, remain insufficiently assessed. This study aims to develop and validate authentic assessment instruments that holistically measure students’ non-cognitive critical thinking skills. The instruments were designed to capture dispositional dimensions of critical thinking through a combination of an authentic assessment scale, reflective journals, and discussion observation sheets. Method: This study employed a research and development (R&D) approach using the 4D model consisting of Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate stages. The development process involved needs analysis, instrument design, expert validation, and limited field testing. Participants included nine expert lecturers, six junior high school mathematics teachers, and one class of junior high school students, selected purposively. Content validity was examined using Aiken’s V, while internal consistency reliability was assessed using Hoyt’s formula. Instrument readability and practicality were evaluated through structured response questionnaires administered to teachers and students, with data analyzed descriptively using percentage scores. Findings: The results indicate that all instruments demonstrated high content validity and strong reliability, with coefficients of 0.834 for the authentic instrument, 0.901 for the reflective journal, and 0.879 for the observation sheet. Readability analysis confirmed suitability for junior high school students. Teacher responses were very high (87.4%–91.3%), and student responses were positive (83.07%–85.5%), indicating good usability and relevance. Significance: This study provides empirically validated authentic assessment instruments that support holistic evaluation of non-cognitive critical thinking skills, offering a meaningful alternative to conventional assessment practices and contributing to the advancement of formative, disposition oriented assessment in contemporary education.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to develop STEM-based Analytical Geometry teaching materials integrated with digital visualization tools and e-learning platforms. The goal is to enhance students’ conceptual understanding, spatial visualization, and problem-solving skills while addressing the limitations of traditional instruction, particularly in connecting abstract concepts to real-world applications. Method: A research and development approach was employed using the ADDIE model (analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation). The study involved 93 fifth-semester undergraduate mathematics education students. Data were gathered through observations, interviews, needs analysis questionnaires, expert validation, learning outcome tests, and student feedback. The teaching materials included various digital tools such as GeoGebra, PhET, Maple, Tinkercad, and Google Colab, supporting STEM-based learning and engineering projects. Quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and gain score analysis, while qualitative data were used to interpret the implementation process. Findings: The developed materials achieved a high validity score (4.58/5). The implementation through e-learning led to a 36.6% improvement in student learning outcomes. Student feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with a score of 4.63, particularly in visual clarity and ease of use. Engineering projects, such as robot path design, enhanced students’ spatial reasoning and facilitated concept transfer. Significance:This study provides evidence that integrating STEM, digital visualization, and e-learning significantly enhances the effectiveness of analytical geometry learning, offering practical implications for innovative mathematics education technologies aligned with Industry 4.0 and Society 5.0.

Abstract

This study is a study aimed at investigating the influence of emotional intelligence and inhibitory control on mathematical problem-solving ability, with math anxiety as an intervening variable. It is a quantitative, ex post facto research that uses questionnaires and tests as research instruments. The study involved 28 students as subjects. The analytical technique used in this study was path analysis. The study results are as follows: (1) There was no significant influence of emotional intelligence on mathematical problem-solving skills, with a p-value = 0,308. (2) There was no significant influence of inhibitory control on mathematical problem-solving skills, with a p-value = 0,956. (3) There was no significant influence of math anxiety on mathematical problem-solving skills, with a p-value = 0,743. (4) There was no significant influence of emotional intelligence on math anxiety, with a p-value = 0,184. (5) There is no significant influence of inhibitory control on math anxiety, with a p-value = 0,701. (6) There was no significant influence of emotional intelligence on mathematical problem-solving skills through math anxiety, with a p-value = 0,804. (7) There was no significant influence of inhibitory control on mathematical problem-solving skills through math anxiety, with a p-value = 0,914.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini secara umum adalah mengkaji dampak perbedaan dan interaksi dua tingkat faktor antara tingkat faktor penggunaan bahan ajar berbasis Socrates dan faktor pembelajaran dengan setting kolaboratif terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa dengan mengendalikan pengaruh linier kovariat kemampuan awal matematika. Pentingnya penelitian ini dikarenakan pemikiran peneliti untuk mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kritis yang masih kurang dari proses belajar peserta didik demi menuju keterampilan yang relevan dengan Abad 21. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian eksperimen semu. Sebelum dilakukan eksperimen terlebih dahulu dilakukan tes pengetahuan awal matematika untuk mengetahui penguasaan materi matematika yang telah dimiliki mahasiswa akibat pengalaman belajar sebelumnya. Pengetahuan awal matematika sebagai variabel kovariat penelitian. Populasi target dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika yang mengikuti perkuliahan di semester III. Sedangkan populasi terjangkau adalah seluruh mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika semester III yang mengikuti perkuliahan statistik matematika. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji statistik parametrik ANKOVA. Mengacu pada temuan penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa: 1) Kemampuan berpikir kritis Mahasiswa yang mempelajari bahan ajar Socrates lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan mahasiswa yang mempelajari bahan ajar konvensional setelah mengontrol pengetahuan awal matematika; 2) Kemampuan berpikir kritis Mahasiswa yang terlibat dalam pembelajaran setting kolaboratif lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kemampuan berpikir kritis yang telibat dalam pembelajaran setting individual setelah mengontrol pengetahuan awal matematika; 3) Terdapat pengaruh interaksi antara penyajian bahan ajar berbasis Socrates dan pembelajaran setting kolaboratif terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis setelah mengontrol pengetahuan awal matematika.
