This study aims to examine the impact of the Project-Based Learning (PBL) model in improving critical thinking skills (Higher Order Thinking Skills/HOTS) and mastery of Social Science (IPS) concepts among 8th-grade students at UPT SPF SMPN 4 Makassar. A quasi-experimental design with a nonequivalent control group was used, involving an experimental group (PBL) and a control group (conventional learning). The sample consisted of two classes (30 students per class) selected purposively. Data were collected through HOTS essay tests (pretest-posttest), PBL-based worksheets, and observation sheets. Data analysis was conducted using parametric statistical tests (independent sample T-test) supported by IBM SPSS Statistics 22 and Cohen’s d for effect size. The results show that, 1) the pretest indicated critical thinking and concept mastery were in the "Sufficient" category (96.67%), with only a small portion in the "Good" category (3.33%). After PBL implementation, post-test results revealed a significant improvement, with 93.33% in the "Good" category for critical thinking and a 23.33% increase in concept mastery. 2) PBL significantly enhanced critical thinking skills and 3) PBL significantly improved concept mastery in Social Science.

This study aims to (1) analyze the influence of the principal’s leadership style on the performance of student cooperative managers at SMP Negeri 21 Makassar; (2) assess the influence of organizational culture; (3) examine the impact of teacher commitment; (4) analyze the simultaneous effect of leadership style, organizational culture, and teacher commitment; and (5) identify the most dominant influencing variable. This quantitative research involved 45 student cooperative managers from grades VII–IX using a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple regression, t-test, and F-test with SPSS 26. Results show that leadership style, organizational culture, and teacher commitment have a significant positive partial and simultaneous effect. Teacher commitment is the most dominant variable influencing cooperative management performance.

Amid rapid technological advancements, improving the quality of primary education remains a critical challenge. The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of Artificial Intelligence (AI), learning evaluation, and teacher competence on the quality of Social Studies instruction. The research used a quantitative design involving 25 sixth-grade students at SD Inpres Barua, Bontolempangan, during the 2024/2025 academic year through total sampling. Data were gathered via questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression, t-tests, and F-tests in SPSS 26. Results revealed that AI, evaluation, and teacher competence significantly and positively affect learning quality both individually and collectively. These findings reinforce the critical role of digital tools and professional teaching standards in fostering more effective and meaningful learning experiences.

This study aims to determine (1) the process of implementing information technology literacy in class XI of SMAN 4 Pangkep, (2) the effect of information and communication technology (ICT) literacy on student learning activeness, and (3) the effect of ICT literacy on student learning outcomes. The method used is quantitative with a causal associative approach. The research instruments were questionnaires and post-test questions. The study population consisted of 70 students of class XI IPS SMAN 4 Pangkep, with sampling techniques from the population. Data analysis was conducted using simple linear regression. The results showed that (1) students' ICT literacy skills were in the high category with a percentage of 69%, (2) student learning activeness was in the high category with a percentage of 58%, and (3) student learning outcomes were in the high category with a percentage of 40%. In addition, ICT literacy has a significant influence on student learning activeness and learning outcomes, with the value of Thitung (5.201) and (8.828) more significant than Ttabel (1.661), as well as significance (0.001) and (0.002) smaller than 0.05. Thus, it can be concluded that digital literacy positively and significantly affects student activeness and learning outcomes.

This study aims to analyze the effect of the application of leadership style on the teacher's performance and the dominant leadership style on the teacher's performance. The method used in this research is multiple regression analysis methods with SPSS. The object of this research is Junior high school in North Galesong District, Takalar District. This study used a sample of 47 people. The results showed that the leadership style had a positive and significant effect on the teacher's performance, and the dominant leadership style that influencedthe teacher's performance was delegative leadership style. This finding is an input for the principal to be able to understand the characteristics and enhance harmony with teachers for the achievement of educational goals.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis; 1) pengaruh kemampuan komunikasi guru terhadap prestasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS Kelas V di UPT SPF SDN Bawakaraeng II. 2) pengaruh keaktifan siswa terhadap prestasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS Kelas V di UPT SPF SDN Bawakaraeng II. 3) pengaruh kemampuan komunikasi guru dan keaktifan siswa terhadap prestasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS Kelas V di UPT SPF SDN Bawakaraeng II. Jenis Penelitian menggunakan penelitian ex-post facto yang bersifat kausalitas. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V di UPT SPF SDN Bawakaraeng II sebanyak 41 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan sampel acak atau Probability Sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah keseluruhan siswa kelas V yang berada di UPT SPF SDN Bawakaraeng II sebanyak 41 siswa sebagai responden. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan angket dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan analisis inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa 1) Terdapat pengaruh kemampuan Komunikasi guru terhadap prestasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS Kelas V di UPT SPF SDN Bawakaraeng II diperoleh nilai p (Sig.) sebesar 0,001. 2) Terdapat pengaruh keaktifan siswa terhadap prestasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS Kelas V di UPT SPF SDN Bawakaraeng II diperoleh nilai p (Sig.) sebesar 0,003. 3) Terdapat pengaruh kemampuan komunikasi guru dan keaktifan siswa secara signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS Kelas V di UPT SPF SDN Bawakaraeng II diperoleh nilai p (Sig.) sebesar 0,002.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan menganalisis: 1) pengaruh kecerdasan emosional terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis pada mata pelajaran IPS siswa kelas VIII SMP Islam Terpadu Nurul Asafa Takalar. 2) pengaruh konsep diri (Self Concept) terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis pada mata pelajaran IPS siswa kelas VIII SMP Islam Terpadu Nurul Asafa Takalar. 3) pengaruh kecerdasan emosional dan konsep diri (Self Concept) secara simultan terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis pada mata pelajaran IPS siswa kelas VIII SMP Islam Terpadu Nurul Asafa Takalar. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan penelitian ex-post facto yang bersifat kausalitas. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Islam Terpadu Nurul Asafa Takalar sebanyak 84 siswa. Teknik pengambilan Sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Sampling Jenuh, Jumlah Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah keseluruhan siswa kelas VIII SMP Islam Terpadu Nurul Asafa Takalar sebanyak 84 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dan tes. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan analisis inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa 1) Terdapat pengaruh kecerdasan emosional terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis pada mata pelajaran IPS siswa kelas VIII SMP Islam Terpadu Nurul Asafa Takalar diperoleh nilai p (Sig.) = 0,000. 2) Terdapat pengaruh konsep diri (Self Concept) terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis pada mata pelajaran IPS siswa kelas VIII SMP Islam Terpadu Nurul Asafa Takalar diperoleh nilai p (Sig.) = 0,020. 3) Terdapat pengaruh kecerdasan emosional dan konsep diri (Self Concept) secara simultan terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis pada mata pelajaran IPS siswa kelas VIII SMP Islam Terpadu Nurul Asafa Takalar diperoleh nilai p (Sig.) = 0,001.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi pendidikan karakter pada pembelajaran IPS Terpadu dalam Kurikulum Merdeka. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif yang dilakukan di SD Negeri yang ada di Kecamatan Bambang Kabupaten Mamasa dengan subjek penelitian adalah Kepala Sekolah, Guru dan siswa di SD Negeri yang ada di Kecamatan Bambang Kabupaten Mamasa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh adalah Implementasi pendidikan karakter pada pembelajaran IPS Terpadu dalam kurikulum Merdeka dilakukan melalui pembentukan budaya kelas yang baik yang dipraktekan oleh siswa menjadi kebiasaan sehari – hari untuk meningkatkan karakter sebagai manusia pancasila.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of physical and technological infrastructure on student learning outcomes at SDN 48 Tana Bacue Kec. Segeri Pangkajene and Islands Regency. Data collection using questionnaires, documentation, observation and interviews. The purpose of this study was to determine partially and simultaneously the effect of physical infrastructure and technology on student learning outcomes at SDN 48 Tana Bacue Kec. Segeri Pangkajene and Islands Regency. The results of the research that have been conducted show that the results of this study concluded that there is an influence of physical infrastructure and technology on student learning outcomes at SDN 48 Tana Bacue Kec. Segeri Pangkajene and Islands Regency. Likewise, there is an influence of the Technology variable on Student Learning Outcomes at SDN 48 Tana Bacue Kec. Segeri Pangkajene and Islands Regency. The results of this study concluded that Physical Infrastructure and Technology have a significant influence on Student Learning Outcomes at SDN 48 Tana Bacue Kec. Segeri Pangkajene and Islands Regency.

This research aimed to analyze the effect of self efficacy on the intrinsic motivation, the effect of the self efficacy on the teacher performance, the effect of the intrinsic motivation on the teacher performance, and the effect of self efficacy on the teacher performance through intrinsic motivation. The method used in the research was the path analysis with the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) AMOS. The research result indicated that self efficacy had a positive and significant effect on intrinsic motivation, the self efficacy had an insignificant effect on the teacher performance, the intrinsic motivation had a positive and significant effect on the teacher performance, and the self efficacy had a positive and significant effect on the teacher performance through the intrinsic motivation. This finding will provide input for the school to recognize the importance of self efficacy and intrinsic motivation in the development of teacher performance. Further research and practical implications are discussed.
