Abstract

This research was motivated by the discovery of problems related to employee communication. The purpose of this research is to determine and describe communication between employees at Harris Resort Barelang Batam. The type of research used is quantitative. The types of data used in this research are primary and secondary data. The population of this research is employees at Harris Resort Barelang Batam. The research sample consisted of 53 with a sampling technique using non-probability sampling. The data collection technique was carried out using a questionnaire with a Likert scale which had been tested for validity and reliability. Data from this research were processed using SPSS 25.00. The results of this research show that employee communication is in the adequate category with an average value of 3.36 from 5 assessment scales, the information acquisition indicator is in the sufficient category with an average value of 3.30, the media quality indicator is in the sufficient category. The average value is 3.40 and the information content indicator is in the sufficient category with an average value of 3.36.

Abstract

This study discusses how the influence of Instagram social media marketing on booking intention through brand image at Harris Resort Barelang Batam. This research is motivated by the discovery of phenomena regarding Instagram social media marketing, booking intention and brand image of Harris Resort Barelang Batam. This type of research is quantitative causal associative, obtained a sample size of 182 respondents and purposive sampling procedures. The Likert scale was used to compile a questionnaire which was used as a research instrument. The data that has been collected is then analyzed through Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) version 3.0. The results of hypothesis testing show that brand image is positively and significantly influenced by social media marketing with a t-statistic value (16.974) > t-table value (1.96) and a p-value of 0.000 <0.05. Booking Intention is positively and significantly influenced by social media marketing, with a t-statistic value (6.915) > t-table value (1.96) and p-Value 0.000 <0.05. Booking Intention is positively and significantly influenced by brand image, with a tstatistic value (7.939) > t-table value (1.96) and p-Value 0.000 <0.05. social media marketing has a significant effect on booking intention through brand image. with a t-statistic value (7.182) > t-table value (1.96) and p-Value 0.000 <0.05.

Abstract

This research was conducted to present recommendations on the implementation of e-learning courses Entrepreneurship during the Covid-19 pandemic. The evaluation refers to model Kirkpatrick's with Level 1: Satisfaction, Level 2: Learning, Level 3: Behavior, and Level 4: Impact. The research used a quantitative method with data analysis using percentage techniques. The sample was 307 students who had attended Entrepreneurship courses using e-learning. Data were collected using a questionnaire distributed via Google form. The results show that the evaluation level 1: student satisfaction in learning, on average of 67% and 33% of the other feeling dissatisfied and less able to accept entrepreneurship learning optimally. Level 2 evaluation: learning outcomes, data cognitive, affective, and psychomotor have an average improvement. Evaluation level 3: there was an average improvement of only 18 points on entrepreneurial behavior. Evaluation level 4: 53% of students respond that e-learning is suitable for sustainable use, 59% give the opinion that e-learning is effective in increasing the ability to be an entrepreneurial, and 52% undertake entrepreneurial activities after participating in e-learning. The recommendation of this study's results is to continue learning by using e-learning by paying attention to process factors and combining it with learning, which refers more to implementing entrepreneurial projects to improve psychomotor competence and entrepreneurial behavior in the future.

Abstract

The study aimed to examine the influence of entrepreneurial passion, entrepreneurial literacy, role model inspiration, and self-efficacy on entrepreneurship readiness among higher education students and the role of the project-based learning model implementation as a moderator variable. The population in the study were students in higher education in Indonesia who had taken entrepreneurship courses. Data from 313 valid respondents were analyzed against the research model using the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modelling. The findings revealed that entrepreneurial passion, entrepreneurial literacy, and role model inspiration were found to positively influence self-efficacy as well as entrepreneurship readiness among students in higher education. Unpredictably, the moderator project-based learning models’ implementation was shown to have an insignificant effect on the influence of entrepreneurial passion, entrepreneurial literacy, and role model inspiration toward entrepreneurship readiness among students in higher education. Abstract

This analysis examines how price and trust influence the decision to book a room through online travel agencies in Daima Hotel Padang (Traveloka case study). with two independent variables consisting of price and trust, and the dependent variable consisting of the booking decision. This research is quantitative and uses a causal-associative approach. The sample consists of 194 respondents and a Likert scale was used for data collection. SEM-PLS 3 as data analysis. The hypotheses showed that ordering decision has no significant effect on price, with a t-statistic of 1.740 < 1.96 and a p-value of 0.083 > 0.05. On the other hand, ordering decision has a significant effect on trust, with a t-statistic of 5.922 > 1.96 and a p-value of 0.000 < 0.05.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to (1)To find out the threat level of fire disasters in Bukittinggi City (2) To map the distribution of areas that have a fire threat level in Bukittinggi City (3) To find out the factors that cause fires in Bukitttinggi City. Research method used is quantitative descriptive research. Data collection techniques in this study are by means of observation, interview and literature studies. Data analysis techniques that are used is scoring analysis, the result of this study is (1) The fire threat level in Bukittinggi City is divided into 3 classes, namely High, Medium and Low threat classes. (2) Spread of fire threat level in Bukittinggi City there are 2 subdistricts with the number of 9 villages that are at a high threat level and 3 subdistricts with the number of 9 villages that are at medium threat level and 2 subdistricts with a total of 6 subdistricts at low threat level (3) For the fire cause factor itself there are 3 factors causing fires, namely short circuit of listic currents , gas and stove leaks and public negligence Keywords : Mapping, Disaster, Fire

Abstract

Social media is a place where users can exchange information with fellow users, one of the information obtained is about tourism. In today's digital era, social media such as Instagram has become a popular platform for users to share their travel moments. By using social media one can find out a lot of information and reviews from visitors who have experience in tourism travel, so that they have considerations and decisions in visiting tourism places. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of motivation to share photos on Instagram on visitors' experiences of subjective well-being in the tourism object of Air Manis Beach, Padang City.  The study used a quantitative with a causal associative approach. The data was obtained by distributing questionnaires online through Instagram users who have shared photos of their experiences visiting the tourism object of Air Manis Beach, Padang City. So that as many as 184 people were obtained, with a Likert scale. The data analysis technique used the Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling. The results found that recognition and status, enjoyment, and disclosure influenced visitors' experiences of subjective well-being in the tourism object of Air Manis Beach, Padang City. Meanwhile, tourism information did not affect visitors' experiences of subjective well-being in the tourism object of Air Manis Beach, Padang City. This study concluded that when people share motivational and inspiring travel photos via Instagram, they can feel an increase in subjective well-being.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out how the hospitableness and guest engagement that exists between employees and guests have an impact on guest satisfaction. This type of research is a quantitative descriptive research with a causal associative method. The population in this study were all guests who had stayed at a four-star hotel in the city of Padang. The sampling technique is non-probability sampling using purposive sampling. The number of samples in this study amounted to 97 responses. Data collection techniques were carried out using a questionnaire with a Likert scale that had been tested for validity and reliability. The data analysis used in this research is descriptive analysis with the help of SPSS version 20.00. From the results of the research that has been done, the Friendliness and Guest Involvement variables have a positive and significant effect on guest satisfaction at four-star hotels in the city of Padang. It can be said that based on this research, guest satisfaction can occur if the hotel can provide hospitableness and guest engagement good relations with guests during their stay, then guests will feel satisfied.

Abstract

Customer satisfaction is the level of customer satisfaction, desire, or positive perception of the product, service, or experience they receive. This reflects the extent to which customers are satisfied with the product or service they purchased. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of service quality on customer satisfaction in the hotel non-star Padang mediated by ambient conditions. This study used quantitative research with a causal associative approach. Data was obtained by distributing questionnaires directly to guests staying in the hotel non-star Padang so that a total sample of 112 respondents from a population of 7 in the hotel non-star Padang were obtained with a Likert scale. The data analysis technique uses Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling. Most of the respondents are between 21-30 years old. with 60.71% of respondents. This study found that service quality is an important factor in increasing ambient conditions and customer satisfaction in the hotel non-star Padang. Meanwhile, ambient conditions did not affect customer satisfaction in the hotel non-star Padang. Although service quality is an important factor in customer satisfaction, the results of the analysis show that ambient conditions as mediated factors do not have an effect on service quality and customer satisfaction in the hotel non-star Padang. Abstract

Online customer reviews and prices are a thing inseparable from the ordering decision, positive reviews fromguests and affordable prices will make prospective guests make reservations at We Hotel Lubuklinggau viaTraveloka. This study aimed to examine the effect of online customer reviews on booking decisions at We HotelLubuklinggau and the effect of price on booking decisions at We Hotel Lubuklinggau. This study employed acausal associative approach to quantitative research. Direct distribution of surveys to We Hotel Lubuklinggauguests provided data, allowing for the creation of a Likert-scale sample of 121 responses from 2,068 customerswho made reservations at online travel agencies between January and December 2023. Partial Least SquareStructural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) is the data analysis method used. A total of 36 percent of therespondents were between the ages of 17-25. This research found that online customer reviews are animportant factor in increasing booking decisions at We Hotel Lubuklinggau. and Price has a significant influenceon booking decisions at We Hotel Lubuklinggau. This research concludes that online customer reviews andprice determine guests' decisions in making reservations at We Hotel Lubuklinggau via Traveloka.Keywords: Booking Decision, Online Customer Review, Price
