Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh budaya centennial terhadap keinginan bekerja di hotel pada mahasiswa manajemen perhotelan Universitas Negeri Padang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan asosiatif kausal. Sampel dari penelitian ini adalah 120 responden yang dipilih menggunakan teknik probability sampling dengan metode proportionate stratified random sampling. Data penelitian ini dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis data kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode statistik. Pengolahan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan software SmartPLS versi 4.0 dan SPSS versi 26.00. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa budaya centennial berpengaruh dengan signifikan terhadap keinginan bekerja di hotel pada mahasiswa manajemen perhotelan Universitas Negeri Padang.

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dengan ditemukannya permasalahan yang berkaitan dengan nonphysical work environment dan job insecurity terhadap turnover intention di The ZHM Premiere Hotel Padang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh non physical work environment dan job insecurity terhadap turnover intention di The ZHM Premiere Hotel Padang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode asosiatif kausal. Hal ini digunakan untuk mengetahui pengaruh non physical work environment dan job insecurity terhadap turnover intention. Jumlah responden dalam penelitian ini yaitu sebanyak 85 responden. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah dengan penyebaran kuesioner yang telah diuji validitas dan reabilitasnya. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan probability sampling secara simple random sampling. Uji coba instrumen dilakukan dengan dua cara yaitu uji validitas dan uji reabilitas. Langkah-langkah untuk menganalisis data statistik dasar hasil penelitian dan deskripsi data. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan outer model yaitu uji validitas konvergen, uji validitas diskriminan dan uji validitas reabilitas serta yang kedua yaitu inner model. Variabel independen yang diteliti pada penelitian ini adalah pengaruh nonphysical work environment dan job insecurity terhadap turnover intention dengan menggunakan teknik analisis PLS-SEM. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa variabel non physical work environment tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap variabel turnover intention dan variabel job insecurity berpengaruh signifikan terhadap variabel turnover intention.

Penelitian yang terkait menggunakan lingkungan kerja dan kompensasi yg mempengaruhi retensi karyawan menjadi fokus penelitian ini. Jenis penelitian ini adalah naratif kuantitatif dan digolongkan menjadi penelitian asosiatif kausal menggunakan metode survei. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengidentifikasi akibat lingkungan kerja dan kompensasi terhadap retensi karyawan. Penelitian ini mengumpulkan 99 responden menggunakan sampel jenuh. Data penelitian ini dikumpulkan melalui penyebaran berita umum melalui form google yg disusun dengan skala likert. Kuesioner, juga dikenal menjadi angket, dipergunakan buat mengumpulkan data serta sudah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Data penelitian diolah dengan SPSS 20.00. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan lingkungan kerja berada di kategori cukup yaitu dengan nilai rata-rata 3,17, kompensasi dengan kategori baik dengan nilai rata – rata 3,73 serta variabel retensi karyawan pada kategori nilai rata – rata 3,09. Nilai lingkungan kerja (X1) memiliki beta atau nilai standar yaitu 0.512 menggunakan T hitung (6.603) serta signifikansi 0.000 < 0.05, yang berarti bahwa variabel lingkungan kerja (X1) berpengaruh positif serta signifikan terhadap retensi karyawan (Y). Nilai hipotesis kompensasi (X2) juga mempunyai beta atau nilai standar yaitu 0.366 dengan T hitung (4.715) serta signifikansi 0.000 < 0.05, yang berarti bahwa variabel kompensasi (X2) berpengaruh positif serta signifikan terhadap retensi karyawan. Selanjutnya diperoleh nilai Adjusted R Square sebesar 0,599 merupakan dampak variabel lingkungan kerja (X1) serta kompensasi (X2) terhadap variabel retensi karyawan (Y) sebanyak 59,9% sedangkan 40,1% ditentukan sang faktor lain.

This research is motivated by the discovery of issues related to the low percentage of repurchase intention among customers of Monochrome Coffee & Kitchen in Kota Padang. Complaints about customer dissatisfaction with the products, services, facilities, and the lack of confidence in the 19 Monochrome brand itself have resulted in a reluctance to repurchase products and services at Monochrome Coffee & Kitchen. The aim of this research is to analyze the impact of customer experience on repurchase intention with brand trust as a mediating variable at Monochrome Coffee & Kitchen in Kota Padang. This research is a quantitative type with a causal associative approach, utilizing purposive sampling method, and involving 265 respondents. The data collection method involves distributing questionnaires to respondents based on a Likert scale that has been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis is conducted using SPSS and SEM (PLS). From this research, it is found that customer experience is categorized as fairly good with a percentage of 59%, repurchase intention is categorized as fairly good with a percentage of 52%, and brand trust is categorized as good with a percentage of 44%. The research results can be observed from the t-statistic and p-values based on SEM (PLS) data analysis, which concludes that customer experience (X) has a significant influence on repurchase intention (Y), customer experience (X) has a significant influence on brand trust (Z), brand trust (Z) has a significant influence on repurchase intention (Y), and customer experience (X) has a significant influence on repurchase intention (Y) through brand trust (Z) as a mediating variable. This implies that all hypotheses in this research are accepted.

Social media is a place where users can exchange information with fellow users, one of the information obtained is about tourism. In today's digital era, social media such as Instagram has become a popular platform for users to share their travel moments. By using social media one can find out a lot of information and reviews from visitors who have experience in tourism travel, so that they have considerations and decisions in visiting tourism places. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of motivation to share photos on Instagram on visitors' experiences of subjective well-being in the tourism object of Air Manis Beach, Padang City. The study used a quantitative with a causal associative approach. The data was obtained by distributing questionnaires online through Instagram users who have shared photos of their experiences visiting the tourism object of Air Manis Beach, Padang City. So that as many as 184 people were obtained, with a Likert scale. The data analysis technique used the Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling. The results found that recognition and status, enjoyment, and disclosure influenced visitors' experiences of subjective well-being in the tourism object of Air Manis Beach, Padang City. Meanwhile, tourism information did not affect visitors' experiences of subjective well-being in the tourism object of Air Manis Beach, Padang City. This study concluded that when people share motivational and inspiring travel photos via Instagram, they can feel an increase in subjective well-being.

This study aimed to analyze the hotel management graduates' perception of work conditions and the moderating effect of salary on work motivation in the hotel industry during the COVID- 19 pandemic. This research was conducted with a quantitative approach. The total population was 670 hotel management graduates with the sample's determination based on the type of purposive sampling. The sample size of the study is 20% of the total population (134 graduates) who are estimated to work in the hotel industry. A total of 134 respondents were successfully collected. The data analysis technique used is Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM). The results showed that: There is a significant effect of work condition toward hotel management graduates’ work motivation in the hotel industry during the COVID- 19 pandemic and there is a significant moderating effect of salary toward the relationship between work condition and hotel management graduates’ work motivation in the hotel industry during the COVID- 19 pandemic. What could be said from the result of the study is that the impact of work conditions toward work motivation in the hotel industry during the COVID-19 pandemic would be increased with the presence of salary.

The background of this research problem was the low learning outcomes of students in the cognitive domain of Fashion Design course. This research aims at describing the implementation of the Problem Based Learning model to improve student learning outcomes in the Fashion Design course. The research was conducted at Vocational High School 6 Padang with the method used was Classroom Action Research (CAR). This Classroom Action Research (CAR) was divided into 2 cycles. Each cycle was divided into 4 stages: 1) Planning, 2) Implementation. 3) Observation, 4) Reflection. The research subjects used were students of Grade XI Fashion Design I at Vocational High School 6 Padang, totaling 29 students. Data collection techniques used observation, tests, and documentation. The data analysis technique was carried out by quantitative and qualitative analyzing. In the first cycle, students reached the Minimum Completeness Criteria of learning outcomes as much as 55%. In the second cycle, it increased while 83% of students have reached the Minimum Completeness Criteria. Thus, it can be concluded that the implementation of Fashion Design learning by using the Problem Based Learning Model can improve student learning outcomes in grade XI Fashion Design I at Vocational High School 6 Padang.

This research was motivated by the discovery of problems related to service quality and the decision to revisit the Mega Wisata Bonjol Restaurant. The aim of this research is to analyze how much influence service quality has on the decision to revisit Mega Wisata Bonjol. This research includes quantitative descriptive research with causal associative methods used. This research variable includes indicators of service quality as independent variables which include reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, and tangibles. Meanwhile, the dependent variable is the decision to visit again which includes interest in visiting again, reference for visiting and preference for visiting. Obtaining primary and secondary data using data collection techniques through field observations, questionnaires and literature studies. The population in this study were customers of Mega Wisata Bonjol Restaurant with a sample of 228 people. The data collection technique in this research uses a purposive sampling technique, namely data collection is carried out by distributing questionnaires to customers and then processed using SPSS version 20.00. The results are stated that the overall service quality is included in the good category on a scale of 5 with an average value of 3. 8. The overall decision to revisit is included in the very good category on a scale of 5 with an average value of 4.7. With a regression coefficient of 0.157 with a sig value. 0.02 < 0.05. This means that for every 1 unit increase in service quality, the decision to return to visit will increase by 0.157 units. Furthermore, an R square value of 0.336 was obtained, meaning that the influence of variable (X) on variable (Y) was 33.6%. Meanwhile, 66.4% was influenced by other factors.

This research was motivated by the discovery of problems related to employee communication. The purpose of this research is to determine and describe communication between employees at Harris Resort Barelang Batam. The type of research used is quantitative. The types of data used in this research are primary and secondary data. The population of this research is employees at Harris Resort Barelang Batam. The research sample consisted of 53 with a sampling technique using non-probability sampling. The data collection technique was carried out using a questionnaire with a Likert scale which had been tested for validity and reliability. Data from this research were processed using SPSS 25.00. The results of this research show that employee communication is in the adequate category with an average value of 3.36 from 5 assessment scales, the information acquisition indicator is in the sufficient category with an average value of 3.30, the media quality indicator is in the sufficient category. The average value is 3.40 and the information content indicator is in the sufficient category with an average value of 3.36.

This study discusses how the influence of Instagram social media marketing on booking intention through brand image at Harris Resort Barelang Batam. This research is motivated by the discovery of phenomena regarding Instagram social media marketing, booking intention and brand image of Harris Resort Barelang Batam. This type of research is quantitative causal associative, obtained a sample size of 182 respondents and purposive sampling procedures. The Likert scale was used to compile a questionnaire which was used as a research instrument. The data that has been collected is then analyzed through Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) version 3.0. The results of hypothesis testing show that brand image is positively and significantly influenced by social media marketing with a t-statistic value (16.974) > t-table value (1.96) and a p-value of 0.000 <0.05. Booking Intention is positively and significantly influenced by social media marketing, with a t-statistic value (6.915) > t-table value (1.96) and p-Value 0.000 <0.05. Booking Intention is positively and significantly influenced by brand image, with a tstatistic value (7.939) > t-table value (1.96) and p-Value 0.000 <0.05. social media marketing has a significant effect on booking intention through brand image. with a t-statistic value (7.182) > t-table value (1.96) and p-Value 0.000 <0.05.
