Abstract

Persaingan diantara lembaga Paud yang semakin ketat akibat meningkatnya kesadaran masyarakat tentang pendidikan yang berkualitas sejak dini serta munculnya lembaga PAUD dengan jarak berdekatan. Sehingga menimbulkan tantangan bagi setiap lembaga PAUD untuk berinovasi agar dapat bersaing dan mempertahankan eksistensinya. Penelitian ini untuk menganalisis kegiatan open house sebagai teknik marketing di TK Pembina ABA 54 Semarang.  Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deksriptif kualitatif. Pengumpulan data melalui observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara dengan kepala sekolah, guru, orang tua anak didik, guru dari Pos Paud, dan orang tua calon siswa. Analisis data berdasarkan model Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan open house efektif meningkatkan daya tarik lembaga Paud, serta memberikan kesempatan untuk mengenal lebih dekat lingkungan, program, serta keunggulan sekolah. Keterlibatan orang tua peserta didik dalam bazar, lomba kreativitas, penampilan ekstrakurikuler, serta tur sekolah. Selain itu, kegiatan open house juga melibatkan partisipasi warga sekitar sehingga tercipta kemitraan antara sekolah dan lingkungan sekitar. Dukungan promosi media sosial turut memperluas jangkauan informasi kepada publik sehingga memaksimalkan potensi pendaftar yang terus bertambah setiap tahunnya. Temuan penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi lembaga Paud lain untuk mengadopsi teknik marketing melalui kegiatan open house yang inovatif, interaktif, dan berorientasi pada kebutuhan masyarakat.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji pembentukan rasa tanggung jawab anak melalui aktivitas mencuci peralatan makan di RA Al-Hidayah UIN Walisongo Semarang dengan perspektif teori sosial emosional. Aktivitas ini dipilih karena melibatkan partisipasi aktif anak dalam tugas yang memerlukan kemandirian, kedisiplinan, dan kesadaran akan kewajiban, yang mendukung perkembangan keterampilan hidup. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan 20 anak usia 5-6 tahun sebagai subjek. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, yang dianalisis secara tematik dengan triangulasi untuk validitas. Video dokumentasi merekam aktivitas mencuci bekal anak, mencatat interaksi sosial, partisipasi, dan perubahan perilaku, memberikan bukti empiris kontribusi kegiatan terhadap pembentukan rasa tanggung jawab. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan ini tidak hanya melatih keterampilan hidup, tetapi juga menanamkan rasa tanggung jawab secara bertahap, dengan peran guru yang berpengaruh. Penelitian ini menggabungkan pendekatan praktis dan sosial emosional dalam pengembangan karakter anak usia dini, memberikan kontribusi penting dalam memahami efektivitas kegiatan yang melibatkan tanggung jawab pribadi sejak usia dini.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning in senior high schools still tends to be teacher-centered, resulting in limited development of students’ active participation, creativity, and independent learning. This condition highlights the need for a learning approach that encourages exploration, concept discovery, and active student engagement. The Exploratory Discovery approach is considered relevant as it emphasizes independent exploration, group discussion, concept discovery, and reflection, which align with constructivist principles and 21st-century competencies. This study aims to describe the implementation of the Exploratory Discovery approach in PAI learning for grade XI students at SMA Negeri 03 Semarang and to analyze the forms of student creativity as well as the supporting and inhibiting factors affecting its effectiveness. This research employed a descriptive qualitative method with purposive sampling involving three PAI teachers and five grade XI students. Data were collected through participatory observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation, including lesson plans, syllabi, and students’ work. Data analysis followed the Miles and Huberman model through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, while data validity was ensured through source triangulation, technique triangulation, and member checking. The findings indicate that the implementation of the Exploratory Discovery approach enhances students’ creativity in the form of mind maps, posters, miniatures, and critical argumentation skills. Supporting factors include a conducive learning environment and the teacher’s role as a facilitator, while inhibiting factors include differences in student readiness, limited instructional time, and initial dependence on the teacher.

Abstract

Readiness in pre-school basic literacy is a crucial foundation for academic success in elementary schools, yet many students do not have adequate preparation when the transition begins,  making the urgency of early structured intervention. This research aims to describe the role of pra-calistung (pre-reading, writing, and arithmetic) tutoring activity in developing students’ reading and writing skills at Raudhatul Athfal (RA). The study used a descriptive qualitative approach with the subjects of organising tutors, group B students, and parents; the data were collected through observations, deep interviews, and documentation using observational and interviewing guidelines as the main instruments. The data was then analysed using Miles and Huberman’s model, with the steps of data reduction, data serving, and conclusion drawing. The result showed that the pra-calistung activity involving the introduction of voice, letter shapes, and articulation contributed significantly to children’s reading and writing skill enhancement, supported by the collaboration between teachers and parents. It implied that the program could become an effective and adaptive early literacy intervention model.

Abstract

Early childhood Qur'an learning is very important in building moral and spiritual foundations. This period is considered a golden age, therefore appropriate and engaging learning methods are required. The Ummi Method, with its structured and enjoyable approach, emphasizes a gentle emotional approach, direct learning (talaqqi), repetition (muroja’ah), and active student participation. This study aims to examine the optimization of the implementation of the Ummi Method through collaboration between teachers and parents. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through classroom observations, in-depth interviews with teachers and parents, and documentation of children's learning development. The results show that collaboration between teachers and parents can optimize the implementation of the Ummi Method, particularly in muroja’ah, tartil, tajwid, and makhorijul huruf activities. This learning process leads to an improvement in early childhood Qur'an reading ability, including the accuracy of letter pronunciation, the ability to read with proper tartil and tajwid, as well as increased self-confidence and children's interest in learning the Qur'an. The active role of parents at home has proven to strengthen the learning outcomes obtained at school. This study provides an important contribution to the development of effective Qur'an learning models for early childhood through the synergy between teachers and parents.

Abstract

Instilling an environmentally conscious character from an early age is an important step in shaping a generation that is responsible toward nature. However, the implementation of learning that integrates digital media and hands-on practice in early childhood education still needs further study. This research aims to enhance children's understanding and skills in distinguishing between organic and inorganic waste thru educational video media and direct practice. At the same time, it aims to develop teachers' competencies in implementing the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project at TK Hidayatul Mubtadiin. The method used is descriptive with a simple mixed-method approach thru field studies. Data were collected thru observation, interviews, and documentation of project activities. The project was carried out by presenting educational videos about the impact of littering, solutions for protecting the environment, and how to dispose of organic and inorganic waste. The subjects of the study were 22 kindergarten B children who participated in waste sorting practices based on the color of the trash bins. The research results show that 19 out of 22 children (86.4%) successfully separated organic and inorganic waste correctly, while 3 children (13.6%) experienced difficulties. This research indicates that learning thru educational videos and hands-on practice can enhance children's understanding and ability in waste sorting, as well as support the development of an environmentally conscious character in early childhood.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the values ​​of education nationalism contained in two Indonesian struggle songs, namely Yalal Wathon and Sang Surya, through the perspective of August Comte's philosophy, especially the theory of Positivism. The research method uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method. The findings of this study indicate that the lyrics of the song reflect three stages of human thought development according to Comte, namely the theological, metaphysical, and positive stages. This study found that Yalal Wathon emphasizes the emotional religious aspect (theological stage), while Sang Surya tends to emphasize rationality and scientific optimism in building the nation (positive stage). Although different in approach, the two songs have similarities in fostering a sense of love for the homeland and collective solidarity as the foundation of nationalism. This article recommends that the values ​​of nationalism in these songs are not only a tool for political struggle, but also a means of moral and social education for the community, as reflected in the framework of Comte's Positivism which emphasizes the importance of science and social solidarity in the formation of collective identity. This finding contributes to showing that Yalal Wathon emphasizes the emotional-religious aspect (theological stage), while Sang Surya emphasizes scientific rationality and optimism in building the nation (positive stage). Although different in approach, both songs have similarities in fostering a sense of love for the homeland and collective solidarity as the foundation of nationalism. the use of Positivism theory in cultural studies, which allows similar studies that combine art, philosophy, and history in an analytical framework. Overall, this study successfully combines the emotional and rational aspects of nationalism, and shows its relevance for education and the process of forming the nation's collective identity.

Abstract

This study examines the role of extracurricular dance activities in shaping the creative character of early childhood. Dancing not only helps develop gross and fine motor skills but also encourages children’s imagination, innovation, emotional expression, and social skills. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation during the dance learning process. The results of the study show that extracurricular dance activities enable children to freely and individually express diverse dance movements. Children’s creativity is reflected through improvisational movements, and the success of these activities in enhancing creativity also contributes to children’s social and emotional development, including increased confidence. In addition, dance learning strengthens important social and emotional traits such as cooperation, empathy, and self-control. Therefore, this study recommends integrating dance movement activities into the early childhood education curriculum as an effective and enjoyable medium for developing creative character

Abstract

Profil Pelajar Pancasila menjadi bagian integral dari kurikulum ini dengan tujuan membentuk karakter pelajar berdasarkan nilai-nilai Pancasila . Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas kegiatan ekstrakurikuler dalam penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila pada anak usia dini di TK Tarbiyatul Athfal 04, yang sedang bertransisi ke Kurikulum Merdeka. Melalui kegiatan ekstrakurikuler seperti gamelan, menari, dan rebana, penelitian ini mengeksplorasi bagaimana nilai-nilai Pancasila dapat diintegrasikan secara efektif pada anak-anak PAUD. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan ekstrakurikuler dapat menjadi sarana efektif dalam menguatkan karakter pelajar Pancasila, seperti nasionalisme, cinta budaya, dan nilai-nilai religius pada anak-anak. Kegiatan yang diselenggarakan secara kontekstual sesuai dengan tingkat perkembangan anak juga mendorong pembentukan karakter yang kuat serta pemahaman akan pentingnya persatuan dan keberagaman. Temuan ini memberikan wawasan bagi pengembangan program ekstrakurikuler yang lebih efektif di lembaga PAUD.
