Abstract

 Profit optimization became one of the main goals of the production process of home industry. A maximum profit can be achieved with proper planning of production. In the process of implementation, production planning has many constraints such as lot sizing, limited stock, overtime work and the many products derived from the same source. To address the problem, we develop computer software using a heuristic method called evolution strategy (ES). ES has capability to solve optimization problems with nearly optimal results. The result of the calculation process of evolution strategy algorithm was compared with data from the source. Computational analysis shows that ES produces a production plan that has profit of Rp 5,324,000. It is bigger than manual production plan that has profit of Rp 2,747,000. Keywords: home industry, profit, optimization, production, evolution strategies

Abstract

Developing of artificial intelligence (AI) technology in the medical sector, especially in the part of male reproduction and infertility, is growing rapidly. In both supervised learning and unsupervised learning, AI has been tested and applied to medical personnel to treat their patients. Calculations from simple to complex probability and a combination of some different methods have conducted results of accurate and precise. The results can help determine the condition of male infertility. Artificial neural network (ANN) and fuzzy inference system (FIS) are AI techniques applied to male health issues. ANN is adequate for processing large amounts of combined data in a short time. ANN also has a high level of accuracy and excellent adaptive capabilities. Afterwards, FIS can reflect problems using models with easy to understand, flexible, and also competent to model complex linear functions for decision-making. Based on the advantages of ANN and FIS, it is hoped acquiring prediction results of better and more accurate in male health issues.

Abstract

Tasikmadu and Gemaharjo villages are two villages in Watulimo have considerable potential in tourism and MSME products. However, rural communities including tourism actors, village officials, and MSME players are still unable to maximize the potential of the village, due to the lack of ability of tourism managers and MSME actors in promoting tourism and its products widely. Therefore, this activity intends to increase the knowledge and ability of tourism actors, village officials, and MSME actors from Tasikmadu and Gemaharjo villages in promoting tourism and MSME products. This is done by developing tourism profiles and MSMEs digitally.  The evaluation results showed that the activity was quite successful in increasing tourism promotion in Tasikmadu by utilizing the village's Instagram social media. In addition, the success of MSME promotion can also be seen by making logos and packaging for MSME products, both in Tasikmadu and Gemaharjo.

Abstract

Setiap Bank memiliki layanan dalam meminjamkan modal kepada suatu perusahaan. Namun nominal pinjaman modal tidaklah sedikit. Sehingga untuk mencegah pengembalian modal dapat dilakukan dengan lancar, diperlukan clustering perusahaan berdasarkan analisa likuiditas. Pada penelitian ini, clustering dilakukan menggunakan hybrid Particle Swarm Optimization dengan K-Means (PSO-KMeans). Metode hybrid tersebut digunakan untuk mendapatkan hasil cluster yang tidak terjebak dalam solusi optimum lokal. Hasil yang diperoleh dari hybrid PSO K-Means menunjukkan hasil yang lebih baik jika dibandingkan dengan menggunakan algoritma K-Means tanpa hybrid. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan perolehan centroid terbaik yang ditunjukkan dengan nilai Silhouette Coefficient yang diperoleh hybrid PSO K-Means lebih baik dibandingkan K-Means.

Abstract

Outliers in the dataset will affect the quality of the cluster, so a good clustering method is needed. Based on the Mahalanobis distance method, it is known that the research dataset has outliers. Clustering methods that are often used for this type of data are Fuzzy C-means (FCM), Possibilistic C-means (PCM), and Fuzzy Possibilistic C-means (FPCM). This study aims to develop a clustering method that is more robust to outliers by using the Artificial Bee Colony (ABC) algorithm to minimize the objective function of FPCM. This study produces a new algorithm called Artificial Bee Colony Fuzzy Possibilistic C-Means (ABCFPCM) so that the resulting clusters are not easily trapped in the local optimum. This study also provides cluster centroid initialization using K-Means++ to improve cluster quality. ABCFPCM performs best because it significantly increases the Silhouette value and the Between Sum Squares (BSS) and Total Sum Squares (TSS) ratio. ABCFPCM performance provides the best cluster quality of 72.16% based on the BSS/TSS ratio, FPCM of 70.71%, and FCM K-Means++ of 68.14%. K-Means++ in the cluster method does not affect cluster performance except for FCM, where cluster quality is slightly increased. The centroid results of 8 clusters as the best performance of ABCFPCM are used to determine the tuition rate level. The impact of this study is to improve the quality of FPCM performance because it is no longer trapped in a local optimum at the cluster centroid.

Abstract

Abstract. In the software industry world, it’s known to fulfill the tremendous demand. Therefore, estimating effort is needed to optimize the accuracy of the results, because it has the weakness in the personal analysis of experts who tend to be less objective. SVR is one of clever algorithm as machine learning methods that can be used. There are two problems when applying it; select features and find optimal parameter value. This paper proposed local best PSO-SVR to solve the problem. The result of experiment showed that the proposed model outperforms PSO-SVR and T-SVR in accuracy. Abstract

Rainfall already became vital observation object because it affects society life both in rural areas or urban areas. Because parameters to predict rainfall rates is very complex, using physics based model that need many parameters is not a good choice. Using alternative approach like time-series based model is a good alternative. One of the algorithm that widely used to predict future events is Neural Network Backpropagation. On this research we will use Nguyen-Widrow method to initialize weight of Neural Network to reduce training time. The lowest MSE achieved is {0,02815;  0,01686; 0,01934; 0,03196} by using 50 maximum epoch and 3 neurons on hidden layer.

Abstract

Rainfall forcasting is a non-linear forecasting process that varies according to area and strongly influenced by climate change. It is a difficult process due to complexity of rainfall trend in the previous event and the popularity of Adaptive Neuro Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) with hybrid learning method give high prediction for rainfall as a forecasting model. Thus, in this study we investigate the efficient membership function of ANFIS for predicting rainfall in Banyuwangi, Indonesia. The number of different membership functions that use hybrid learning method is compared. The validation process shows that 3 or 4 membership function gives minimum RMSE results that use temperature, wind speed and relative humidity as parameters.

Abstract

The optimization problems on real-world usually have non-linear characteristics. Solving non-linear problems is time-consuming, thus heuristic approaches usually are being used to speed up the solution’s searching. Among of the heuristic-based algorithms, Genetic Algorithm (GA) and Simulated Annealing (SA) are two among most popular. The GA is powerful to get a nearly optimal solution on the broad searching area while SA is useful to looking for a solution in the narrow searching area. This study is comparing performance between GA, SA, and three types of Hybrid GA-SA to solve some non-linear optimization cases. The study shows that Hybrid GA-SA can enhance GA and SA to provide a better result
