Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the management of the Paket B Equivalency Education Program at SPNF Sanggar Kegiatan Belajar (SKB) in Karawang Regency. The research focuses on four main aspects: planning, implementation, evaluation, and the supporting and inhibiting factors of the program. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, with data collected through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and documentation. The findings reveal that the program is managed systematically, beginning with community-based needs assessment, flexible curriculum planning, and adult-centered learning approaches, followed by continuous program evaluation. Supporting factors include local community involvement, institutional partnerships, and learners’ enthusiasm. Conversely, obstacles include limited facilities, mismatch between tutor backgrounds and adult education principles, and low parental involvement. The study recommends strengthening institutional management and enhancing community participation to improve the effectiveness of community-based non-formal education services.

Abstract

The utilization of local food ingredients is often neglected in everyday life, even though it has great potential to strengthen local wisdom values among the community and increase student involvement in project-based learning activities. One of the local food ingredients that is rich in nutrients but underutilized is pumpkin, which is a good source of beta-carotene and fiber and has a great opportunity to be developed further. This study applied the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) approach in the pumpkin pudding development project to strengthen local wisdom and increase the utilization of local food ingredients. The STEM approach was applied through several stages: first, from the science aspect, the nutritional composition of pumpkin was analyzed to maximize its health benefits; second, from the technology aspect, innovative processing techniques were used to optimize the taste and texture of the pudding; third, through engineering, recipe modifications were made to maintain product stability and increase durability; and fourth, mathematics was used in calculating the exact nutritional composition. The results showed that pumpkin pudding is not only of high nutritional value, but also well received by the public, especially teenagers. This project is expected to inspire the development of similar local food products that are not only delicious and nutritious, but also support local wisdom and food sustainability through an integrated STEM approach.

Abstract

Selama ini matematika dipandang sebagai matapelajaran yang membosankan dan sulit. Para guru telah melakukan berbagai cara untuk menghapuskan pandangan tersebut. Salah satu cara yang dapat dilakukan adalah berinovasi dalam pembuatan media pembelajaran. Dalam pembuatan media pembelajaran membutuhkan ide kreatif, sarana dan prasarana yang mendukung dari pihak sekolah. Kenyataannya berbagai kendala untuk menciptakan media pembelajaran yang mengkontruksi peserta didik menghinggapi para guru sehingga adanya kesulitan untuk melakukan hal tersebut. Akibatnya, pembelajaran matematika masih dinilai tidak menarik oleh peserta didik sehingga masih banyak peserta didik yang hasil belajarnya dibawah nilai Kriteria Ketuntasan Maksimum (KKM.) Media pembelajaran berupa Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) yang dikolaborasikan dengan video ilustrasi berkonteks futsal pada pembelajaran matematika merupakan media pembelajaran yang mampu membangun pengetahuan peserta didik. Kegiatan Pengabdian ini bagi dilaksanakan di salah satu Madrsah Tsanawiyah (MTs) di Desa Duren melalui pelaksanaan kegiatan pembelajaran media pembelajaran berkonteks futsal. Melalui kegiatan ini guru yang mengahadapi kendala kurangnya sarana dan prasarana pendukung pembuatan media pembelajaran dapat terbantu untuk menciptakan pembelajaran yang menggunakan media pembelajaran dan hasil belajar peserta didik menjadi lebih baik, khususnya pada materi operasi bilangan bulat dan pecahan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the use of the Computer Assisted Test (CAT) in psychological assessments as a means to support the effectiveness of the selection process for prospective personnel in the Indonesian Navy (TNI AL). The background of this research stems from the challenges faced in selection implementation, which is still predominantly based on the conventional method (paper and pencil test), considered less efficient in terms of time, manpower, and result accuracy—especially in handling a large number of applicants distributed across various regions. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, utilizing in-depth interviews with psychologists from Dispsial, Dispsiau, and the Indonesian National Police, along with data analysis through NVivo 12 Plus software. The findings indicate that CAT offers several advantages, including time efficiency, improved objectivity and scoring accuracy, and better data security. However, the implementation of CAT within the Navy still encounters obstacles such as limited infrastructure, incompatible hardware, and a lack of technical training for system operators. Nevertheless, there remains significant potential for development, particularly through benchmarking against institutions that have successfully implemented CAT comprehensively. This study recommends enhancing infrastructure, developing a mobile and compatible CAT system, and strengthening policy and training for human resources involved. With the right strategies, CAT can serve as a strategic solution for modernizing the personnel selection system, making it more effective and accountable.

Abstract

Transformasi digital dalam dunia pendidikan menuntut peningkatan literasi teknologi di kalangan pendidik, khususnya guru. Salah satu inovasi yang berkembang pesat adalah pemanfaatan teknologi kecerdasan buatan, seperti ChatGPT, dalam mendukung proses pembelajaran. Namun, pemanfaatan teknologi ini masih menghadapi berbagai tantangan, terutama terkait rendahnya literasi digital dan keterbatasan pelatihan yang integratif. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di SMA Al Amanah Ciwideuy, Kabupaten Bandung, dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman, keterampilan, dan kesadaran etis guru dalam memanfaatkan ChatGPT sebagai alat bantu pembelajaran yang selaras dengan Kurikulum Merdeka. Pelatihan dilaksanakan melalui pendekatan TPACK (Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge) dan metode workshop partisipatif, yang mencakup sesi teori, praktik penyusunan perangkat ajar, serta edukasi tentang etika digital. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada pemahaman guru, ditandai dengan rata-rata skor pre-test sebesar 54,67 yang meningkat menjadi 86,67 pada post-test. Guru juga mampu menghasilkan perangkat ajar seperti RPP dan soal HOTS berbasis ChatGPT, serta menunjukkan kesadaran terhadap risiko plagiarisme dan hallucination dari AI. Pelatihan ini terbukti efektif dalam membangun kapasitas teknopedagogik guru, serta mendorong terciptanya budaya literasi digital yang etis dan berkelanjutan di lingkungan sekolah. Kegiatan ini dapat direplikasi pada sekolah-sekolah lain yang menghadapi tantangan serupa dalam proses transformasi digital pendidikan.

Abstract

The study aims to compare two study models, both inquiry and cooperative models, to learn of a more significant impact on volleyball service skills. The study used experimental methods with sampling using cluster random sampling technique in class VIII two classes were randomly selected as samples, use design factorial 2x2. The data-analysis technique uses tests from tests and kai squared, which is the data analysis technique used to compare the two learning models used. Research obtained results ie 8,81>7,28. From the research results, it can be concluded that the cooperative learning model is better than the inquiry learning model.

Abstract

The important teacher's role as a facilitator in teaching college in elementary schools is to facilitate the development of students' creativity and understanding. The purpose of this article is to investigate the teacher's role as a facilitator in teaching college in elementary schools and identify approaches, strategies, and best practices in facilitating effective college learning. The research method used in this study was interviews with five teachers and an analysis of the relevant literature. The results of the study show that the facilitator's approach is very important in directing students in the creative process and exploring collage techniques. Effective strategies and practices include providing concrete examples, using step-by-step guides, and engaging students in reflection and discussion regarding their collage work. This study also revealed that teaching collage can improve students' understanding and skills in the art of collage and has a positive impact on students' self-confidence. This article provides practical guidance for teachers in teaching college in elementary schools, encourages the development of student's artistic potential, and establishes the teacher's role as an effective facilitator.

Abstract

This qualitative study explores the utilization of community resources for small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) development. Grounded in grounded theory and thematic analysis, the research aims to uncover insights into the complexities surrounding this phenomenon. Scholarly literature serves as the primary data source, and a systematic search strategy is employed to identify relevant articles. Data analysis involves open, axial, and selective coding techniques to identify emergent themes and patterns. Ethical considerations are paramount throughout the research process. The findings reveal that social capital plays a crucial role in SME development by fostering innovation, collaboration, and access to critical resources. Moreover, management strategies such as microfinance initiatives, entrepreneurial ecosystems, and social entrepreneurship offer promising avenues for leveraging community resources. However, challenges such as limited access to financial capital, inadequate infrastructure, and regulatory constraints hinder SME growth and sustainability. Collaborative partnerships and capacity-building initiatives emerge as potential solutions to overcome these barriers. The implications for future research and practice highlight the need for further empirical studies to explore the effectiveness of different management strategies and the impact of emerging trends on SME development. Policymakers and practitioners should collaborate to design targeted interventions aimed at enhancing SME access to community resources and fostering an enabling environment for entrepreneurial activity.

Abstract

Pemahaman konsep matematika menjadi prioritas utama pada tingkat SMP/MTs sesuai dengan tujuan nasional pendidikan. Hasil pengamatan terhadap proses pembelajaran MBKM FKIP Mengajar Universitas Singaperbangsa Karawang di SMPN 2 Telagasari untuk kelas VIII menunjukkan bahwa tingkat penguasaan konsep matematika siswa masih cukup rendah. Penelitian ini difokuskan untuk menelaah dampak penerapan model IMPROVE terhadap kompetensi siswa kelas VIII dalam memahami konsep matematika. Melalui studi ini, diterapkan metode eksperimen melalui desain Quasi Experimental. Sampel diambil secara Purposive Sampling, sehingga terbentuk dua kelompok, yaitu kelompok eksperimen yang menerapkan IMPROVE dan kelompok kontrol yang menerapkan konvensional. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes tertulis untuk mengukur kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis. Tes ini mencakup empat indikator, yaitu: (1) mengelompokkan objek berdasarkan konsep matematika, (2) menerapkan konsep secara algoritmik, (3) merepresentasikan konsep dalam bentuk berbeda, serta (4) menghubungkan konsep matematika baik secara internal maupun eksternal. Analisis data menunjukkan rata-rata post-test siswa di kelompok eksperimen mencapai , melebihi rata-rata kelompok kontrol yakni . Uji hipotesis dengan menggunakan Independent Sample T-test menunjukkan adanya perbedaan signifikan antara kedua kelompok tersebut. Selanjutnya, ukuran efek sebesar  mengindikasikan bahwa model IMPROVE memiliki dampak nyata terhadap pemahaman konsep matematika. Temuan ini membuktikan bahwa penerapan model IMPROVE memberikan dampak yang menguntungkan bagi pemahaman konsep matematika siswa kelas VIII.

Abstract

Abstrak. Hasil belajar matematika masih rendah disebabkan kurangnya pemahaman peserta didik pada materi matematika yang dipelajari. Salah satu materi matematika yang penting dimiliki peserta didik adalah bilangan bulat karena materi ini digunakan pada hampir seluruh materi matematika dan matapelajaran lainnya seperti Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA). Salah satu pendukung proses pembelajaran agar mencapai tujuannya yaitu penggunaan media pembelajaran karena guru matematika dalam proses pembelajarannya memerlukan adanya media pembelajaran yang dapat memudahkan peserta didik mempelajari materi untuk mencapai tujuan pembelajaran. Media yang digunakan dalam kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini yaitu media cetak berupa lembar kerja peserta didik Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) dan media audio-visual. Kolaborasi media pembelajaran ini akan menjadikan kegiatan pembelajaran lebih hidup dan akan meningkatkan fokus peserta didik pada setiap tahap proses pembelajaran berlangsung. Tujuan dari pelaksanaan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini adalah meningkatnya hasil belajar matematika peserta didik khususnya pada materi operasi dasar matematika sehingga peserta didik mampu menyelesaikan permasalahan matematika yang menggunakan operasi dasar matematika. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya ketertarikan peserta didik dan hasil belajar yang meningkat dilihat dari nilai tes sebelum dan sesudah pelaksanaan kegiatan PkM.
