Abstract

Artikel ini menjelaskan tentang pengaruh belajar di rumah pada masa pembelajaran daring terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif eksperimen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV SD (25 siswa) di SD 033928 Sidumpe. Dari hasil nilai siswa tahun pembelajaran 2019/2020 pada mata pelajaran matematika memiliki rata-rata sebesar 77.72. Dengan demikian, hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran matematika ingin ditingkatkan lagi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa bimbingan belajar pada pembelajaran daring memiliki pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar matematika. Hal ini terbukti dari nilai t hitung > t tabel yaitu 4.416 > 1.711. Maka dengan demikian Ha diterima, yaitu adanya pengaruh yang signifikan antara bimbingan belajar saat pembelajaran daring dengan hasil belajar matematika siswa. Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa bimbingan belajar pada pembelajaran daring mempengaruhi hasil belajar matematika siswa.

Abstract

This article discusses the effect of parents’ parenting style on the students’ learning motivation at the fifth-grade level of SD Negeri 040536 Partibi Lama. The method used in the study was a survey with a quantitative research method. The sample in the study involved 22 students from class VA and 21 students from class VB. The data collection tool used to see the students' learning motivation was a questionnaire that has been tested for validation and reliability. Both classes were normally distributed because those showed 0.200 ≥ 0.05. Based on the correlation test, the calculation result was 0.667, which meant that the correlation value was strong. The significant test was carried out to test the hypothesis by comparing the value of tcount with ttable. The value of tcount was 5,726 while ttable was 2,020. Because tcount 5,726 ≥ ttable 2,020, thus Ha was accepted and H0 was rejected. Through the t-test, it could be concluded that there was a significant relationship between parents’ parenting style and students’ learning motivation at the fifth-grade level of SDN 040536 Partibi Lama Merek in Karo.

Abstract

This research aimed to determine the effect of emotional intelligence on students' mathematics learning outcomes at grade IV of SD Negeri 173418 Pollung in Academic Year 2019/2020. The population of this research was all students of SD Negeri 173418 Pollung, consisting of 362 students, while the samples were selected by purposive sampling technique and the researchers chose grade IV, consisting of 40 students as samples in this study. In this research, the researchers used a quantitative method similar to survey. Then, the hypotheses were tested by using t test. The results of this research indicated that the average value of students’ emotional intelligence was 87.9 with Fair category and the average score of learning outcome was 71.375 with Less category. This was supported by the results of t test in which the value of tcount > ttable which was 1.703 > 1.677. Thus, Ha was accepted, indicating that there was a significant influence of emotional intelligence on the students’ mathematics learning outcomes at grade IV SD Negeri 173418 Pollung Academic Year 2019/2020.

Abstract

The learning model refers to a learning that encourages students to be active and help each other in mastering the subject. This study aimed to improve students’ learning outcomes at grade VI SD Negeri 066050 Medan Denai for the academic year 2020/2021. This research was Classroom Action Research. The results of the study revealed that for the pretest,6 students (23.07%) reached the target score with an average score of 63.45. In cycle I, there were 11 students (42.30%) who reached the target, with an average of 67.94%. In cycle II, there were 21 students (84.61%) who reached the target with an average of 82.56%. The learning implementation was categorized as good. This was seen from the results of observations of teachers’ activities in cycle I for 64% and in cycle II it increased to 82%. Then, the implementation of learning was good. This was seen from the results of students’ observation activities in cycle I for 60% and in cycle II it increased to 88%. Thus, the results of the study showed an increase in students’ learning outcomes on the theme of Bumiku, the sub-themes of Earth, the Sun and the Moon of learning 1 and learning 2 at grade VI SD for the academic year 2020/2021 . In short, implementing Jigsaw learning model improved students’ learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of Blended Learning model on students’ learning outcomes on the theme of “Lingkungan Sahabat Kita” at grade V SD Negeri 060937 Kecamatan Medan Johor for the academic year 2020/2021. This study was carried out in April 2021. In this study, the analytical descriptive method was used. The research population was the fifth grade students of SD Negeri 060937, Kecamatan Medan Johor, which contained 2 classes with a total of 40 students. The samples in this study were selected by using simple random sampling and obtained as many as 20 people. The results of this study indicated that students’ learning outcomes after implementing Blended Learning model was in very good category with an average score of 81.4. The results of this study indicated that the results of the correlation test was 0.881, meaning that rcount (0.881) > rtable (0.444). Thus, Ha was accepted. Furthermore, the results of testing the hypothesis found that tcount > ttable which was 7.907 > 1.734, so it could be said that Ha was accepted. This showed that there was Blended Learning model gave a significant positive influence on students’ learning outcomes on the theme of “Lingkungan Sahabat Kami” at grade V SD Negeri 060937, Kecamatan Medan Johor , for the academic year 2020/2021. Thus, Blended Learning model could be used in the learning process on the theme of “Lingkungan Sahabat Kami”.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of using the Cooperative Type Inquiry learning model on students' learning outcomes for the theme "Indahnya Keberagaman di Negeriku" at grade IV SDN 060938 Medan Johor in the Academic Year 2020/2021. The population of this study was all grade IV students, and 30 students were selected as samples using purposive sampling. This research employed a descriptive-analytical method. The results showed that students' learning outcomes after the implementation of the Cooperative Type Inquiry model were categorized as excellent, with an average score of 82.96. The normality test indicated that the learning outcomes were normally distributed (Lcount > Ltable, 0.178 > 0.05), while the correlation coefficient was 0.621 (rcount ≥ rtable, 0.621 > 0.361). The t-test result was 4.195 > 1.697, indicating that Ha was accepted, meaning there was a positive and significant effect of the Cooperative Type Inquiry learning model on students' learning outcomes.

Abstract

Curriculum research design is a methodological framework used to scientifically study, develop, implement, and evaluate curricula. In the development of educational science, curriculum research design serves as a means to generate new knowledge, whether in the form of theories, models, or curriculum practices that are relevant to the needs of students and educational contexts. Through appropriate research design, curriculum developers and educational researchers can deeply understand the relationship between objectives. This research uses a qualitative approach with a developmental orientation (developmental research), combined with Research and Development (R&D) and Design-Based Research (DBR) approaches.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of the Project Based Learning model on students’ learning outcomes in Science and Social Studies (IPAS), particularly on the topic of the Human Respiratory System, at Grade V of SD Santo Thomas 2 Medan in the 2025/2026 academic year. The research employed an experimental method with a quantitative approach. The instrument used to collect data consisted of 30 test items. The sample comprised 28 students selected through purposive sampling technique.To assess students’ initial abilities, a pretest was administered, yielding an average score of 63.43. The posttest results showed an improvement compared to the pretest, with the students’ average score increasing to 82. The improvement in learning outcomes was supported by the correlation coefficient test results, where rcount ≥ ttabel (0.949 ≥ 0.374). Furthermore, hypothesis testing was conducted by comparing tcount ≥ ttabel, resulting in 15.348 ≥ 2.056. Based on these findings, Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected. It can be concluded that the Project Based Learning model has a significant effect on students’ learning outcomes in Science and Social Studies (IPAS) at Grade V of SD Santo Thomas 2 Medan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas metode diskusi kelompok dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa kelas V di SD Swasta. Yoseph Kabanjahe. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan desain one-group pretest-posttest. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas 30 siswa yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Instrumen pengumpulan data meliputi tes keterampilan berpikir kritis, rubrik penilaian, dan lembar observasi.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada skor post-test dibandingkan pre-test (p < 0,05), yang mengindikasikan efektivitas metode diskusi kelompok dalam mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. Peningkatan ini terlihat pada tiga indikator utama, yaitu kemampuan menganalisis informasi, mengevaluasi argumen, dan menyintesis serta menarik kesimpulan berbasis bukti. Selain itu, metode ini juga mendorong siswa untuk lebih aktif berinteraksi dan berkolaborasi, sehingga memberikan dampak positif pada keterampilan sosial mereka.Namun, penelitian ini menghadapi beberapa kendala, seperti perbedaan kemampuan siswa, keterbatasan waktu diskusi, dan ketergantungan pada fasilitator. Kendala tersebut dapat menjadi bahan evaluasi untuk implementasi metode diskusi kelompok yang lebih efektif di masa mendatang.Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa metode diskusi kelompok merupakan strategi pembelajaran yang efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa sekaligus membangun interaksi sosial mereka. Oleh karena itu, metode ini direkomendasikan untuk diterapkan lebih luas di berbagai mata pelajaran dengan perencanaan dan pengelolaan yang baik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis implementasi kegiatan asistensi mengajar oleh mahasiswa Universitas Katolik Santo Thomas di SDN 060901 Medan Polonia. Kegiatan ini merupakan bagian dari program Merdeka Belajar–Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) yang dirancang untuk memperkuat kompetensi pedagogik dan profesional mahasiswa calon guru melalui pembelajaran berbasis pengalaman. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif jenis studi kasus, dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara mendalam, dokumentasi, dan analisis laporan kegiatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan asistensi mengajar dilaksanakan secara aktif dan terstruktur, melibatkan mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran di kelas, kegiatan non-akademik, serta tugas administrasi sekolah. Mahasiswa menghadapi sejumlah tantangan seperti keragaman karakter siswa dan keterbatasan media pembelajaran, namun mampu mengembangkan strategi adaptif melalui kolaborasi, inovasi, dan refleksi. Kegiatan ini berdampak positif terhadap peningkatan semangat belajar siswa, penguatan karakter, dan terbentuknya profesionalisme mahasiswa sebagai calon pendidik. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan agar asistensi mengajar terus dikembangkan sebagai program pembelajaran kontekstual yang memperkuat hubungan antara dunia kampus dan dunia sekolah.
