Abstract

Tanaman pare (Momordica Charantia) adalah jenis tumbuhan jalar yang mempunyai rasa pahit dan buahnya panjang bergerigi. Kandungan pare memiliki pigmen yang memengaruhi warna kuning telur yaitu B-karoten. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji kualitas sensoris telur puyuh (uji hedonik dan mutu hedonik) dari telur burung puyuh yang diberi ekstrak buah pare (EBP) pada air minum. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan selama 2bulan dari bulan Februari - bulan Maret 2019. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Universitas Djuanda Bogor. Ternak yang digunakan 100 ekor puyuh betina yang berumur 30 hari siap produksi. Pakan yang diberikan adalah pakan komersil dengan PK 20 – 22 %. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) 5 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan. Perlakuan terdiri atas R0 = 0% EBP, R1 = 2,5% EBP + 97,5% air, R2 = 5% EBP + 95% air, R3 = 7,5% EBP + 92,5% air, R4 : 10% EBP + 90% air. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji Kruskal Wallis. Peubah yang diamati yaitu uji hedonik dan uji mutu hedonik (warna putih telur,kuning telur, aroma, rasa dan tekstur). Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa pemberian ekstrak  buah pare berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap warna putih telur, warna kuning telur dan tidak berpengaruh nyata  (P>0,05) terhadap aroma, rasa dan tekstur pada uji hedonik. Pada mutu hedonik nyata (P<0,05) terhadap warna putih telur, kuning telur, aroma, rasa dan tekstur.  Kualitas sensoris terbaik dari telur puyuh yakni yang diberi air minum mengandung 7,5% ekstrak buah pare.Kata kunci :kualitas sensoris telur puyuh, burung puyuh, ekstrak buah pare.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui (1)pengaruh penerapan sistem akuntansi manajemen terhadap kinerja manajerial; (2) pengaruh budaya organisasi  terhadap kinerja manajerial bank.Periode penelitian Februari sampai dengan Juli tahun 2016. Responden penelitian ini adalah pimpinan cabang bank kategori BUKU 4 di Jakarta.Analisis menggunakan regresi cross section dan uji validitas serta uji reliabilitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa model yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini layak untuk menjelaskan kinerja manajerial, dimanapenerapan sistem akuntansi manajemen terhadap kinerja manajerial berpengaruh positif walaupun tidak terlalu signifikan dan budaya organisasi berpengaruh negatif terhadap kinerja manajerial.

Abstract

Skripsi merupakan tugas akhir mahasiswa sebelum lulus dari perguruan tinggi. Salah satu bagian penting dari penelitian skripsi adalah metode penelitian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kecenderungan metode penelitian yang digunakan oleh mahasiswa Pendidikan Bahasa Mandarin UNNES serta mendeskripsikan faktor-faktor penyebab mahasiswa dalam menentukan metode penelitian. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif-deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah dokumen skripsi mahasiswa Pendidikan Bahasa Mandarin UNNES. Hasil penelitian skripsi ini adalah (1) kecenderungan metode penelitian yang digunakan oleh mahasiswa Pendidikan Bahasa Mandarin UNNES adalah metode penelitian kualitatif.; (2) faktor-faktor penyebab mahasiswa Pendidikan Bahasa Mandarin UNNES dalam menentukan metode penelitian yang mereka gunakan diantaranya adalah skripsi tahun sebelumnya, buku referensi, artikel/jurnal, dosen pembimbing, teman sejawat, kompetensi mahasiswa dan biaya/waktu. Thesis research is the final task that students must do before graduating from college. One important part of thesis research is the research method. This study aims to describe the trends of thesis research method used by Chinese Language Education students of UNNES and to describe the factors that influence students in determining research methods. This study uses a qualitative-descriptive research method. The subject of this research is the thesis document in Chinese Language Students of UNNES. The results of this thesis study are (1) the trends of research method used by Chinese Language Education students of UNNES is qualitative research method. (2) factors that affect Chinese Language Education students of UNNES in determining the research method they use include the previous year's thesis, reference book, articles/journals, tutors, peers, student competence and cost/time.

Abstract

Dari hasil pengamatan yang dilakukan bahwa bahan ajar sangat penting untuk sumber belajar siswa, akan tetapi masih ada bahan ajar yang memiliki kekurangan. Salah satunya bahan ajar berupa modul Bahasa Mandarin SMK Negeri 2 Semarang yang memiliki kekurangan dari segi kelayakan materi, penyajian dan bahasa. Berdasarkan latar belakang tersebut tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan uji kelayakan materi, uji kelayakan penyajian dan uji kelayakan bahasa pada modul Bahasa Mandarin SMK Negeri 2 Semarang. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan dokumentasi dan kuesioner. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh dari uji kelayakan materi ketiga instrumen adalah dari total 14 butir uji kelayakan materi, terdapat dua butir yang mendapat perolehan skor terendah. Hasil uji kelayakan penyajian dari ketiga instrumen menunjukkan bahwa analisis kelayakan penyajian pada modul Bahasa Mandarin SMK Negeri 2 Semarang memiliki rentang perolehan skor yang bervariatif, indikator teknik penyajian dan pendukung penyajian memiliki perolehan skor yang rendah. Hasil uji kelayakan bahasa dari ketiga instrumen memperoleh hasil bahwa modul Bahasa Mandarin SMK Negeri 2 Semarang mendapat kriteria sesuai pada seluruh butir.From the observations made that teaching materials are very important for student learning resources, but there are still teaching materials that have shortcomings. One of the teaching materials is in the form of a Mandarin language module at SMK Negeri 2 Semarang which has shortcomings in terms of material feasibility, presentation and language. Based on this background, the purpose of this research is to describe the material feasibility test, presentation feasibility test and language feasibility test in the Mandarin language module at SMK Negeri 2 Semarang. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques using documentation and questionnaires. The results of the research obtained from the material feasibility test of the three instruments are from a total of 14 items of the material feasibility test, there are two items that get the lowest score. The results of the presentation feasibility test of the three instruments show that the presentation feasibility analysis on the Mandarin language module at SMK Negeri 2 Semarang has a varied score range, presentation technique indicators and presentation support have low scores. The results of the language feasibility test of the three instruments showed that the Mandarin language module of SMK Negeri 2 Semarang received the appropriate criteria for all items.

Abstract

Propolis is believed to have antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory and immunostimulating activities. The objective of this study was to investigate the antibacterial activity of ethanol extract propolis (EEP) of Trigona spp. from Bukittinggi West Sumatera against Campylobacter spp. Antibacterial activity of the EEP was measured by disc diffusion method. The compound groups of the propolis were also analyzed on the existence of alkaloids, flavonoids, saphonins, tannins, steroids, and terpenoids. This study revealed that the EEP of Trigona spp. shows an antibacterial activity on Campylobacter spp. The compound groups detected in the EEP were flavonoids and tannins, suggesting that the antibacterial activity of propolis of Trigona spp. may be due to these compounds. Abstract

Sea snail gonggong is an icon of Tanjungpinang-Riau Islands Province. It is a favorite seafood item in Riau Islands Province, and is high economic value but not known widely yet. Until now, sea snail gonggong has been highly exploited but the research on this snail is very limited. The aim of this study was to morphology and molecular characterization of Bintan gonggong snail (Strombus sp.) as a species validation. Bintan gonggong snail included thick-shelled gonggong and thin-shelled gonggong. Morphology identifcation of species Bintan gonggong snail was based on morphometric variability. Molecular identifcation used partial Histone-H3, MEGA version 6.06, and bioinformatics analysis. The result showed that the morphological identifcation of thick-shelled and thin-shelled gonggong based on shell width, the lip thickness, and total weight signifcantly different, but other variables (i.e shell length, shell depth, aperture length, and gonggong weight) were not signifcantly different (p<0.05). Resulted of a molecular identifcation with phylogenetic analysis that the thin-shelled and thick-shelled Bintan gonggong snails were 1 species and a genetic distance of 1%. They were not species Strombus canarium, Strombus vitatus, and Strombus epidromis. Bintan gonggong snails were Strombus turturella (Leavistrombus turturella). DNA sequences of Bintan gonggong have been registered in Gen-Bank with registration numbers MH348131 (thinshelled gonggong) and MH348132 (thick-shelled gonggong).

Abstract

Problem in imbalanced data is very common in classification or identification. The problem is raised when the number of instances of one class far exceeds the other. In the previous research, our DNA barcode-based Identification System of Tuna and Mackerel was developed in imbalanced dataset. The number of samples of Tuna and Mackerel were much more than those of other fish samples. Therefore, the accuracy of the classification model was probably still in bias. This research aimed at employing Synthetic Minority Oversampling Technique (SMOTE) to yield balanced dataset. We used k-mers frequencies from DNA barcode sequences as features and Support Vector Machine (SVM) as classification method. In this research we used trinucleotide (3-mers) and tetranucleotide (4-mers). The training dataset was taken from Barcode of Life Database (BOLD). For evaluating the model, we compared the accuracy of model using SMOTE and without SMOTE in order to classify DNA barcode sequences which is taken from Department of Aquatic Product Technology, Bogor Agricultural University. The results showed that the accuracy of the model in the species level using SMOTE was 7% and 13% higher than those of non-SMOTE for trinucleotide (3-mers) and tetranucleotide (4-mers), respectively. It is expected that the use of SMOTE, as one of data balancing technique, could increase the accuracy of DNA barcode based fish classification system, particularly in the species level which is difficult to be identified.

Abstract

Tuna and mackerel are important fish in Indonesia that have great demand in the community and contain good nutrients for health. Many of the processed products have been faked including processed fish, by replacing the content of products that have high sales value to other lower price one. For ensuring food safety, fraudulent should be prevented by identifying the content of refined product. In this research, we implemented support vector machine (SVM), one of the popular methods in machine learning, to yield a model for identifying the content of refined product based on DNA barcode sequences. The feature extraction of DNA barcode Sequences was conducted by calculating k-mers frequency of each sequences. In this study, we used trinucleotide (3-mers) and tetranucleotide (4-mers). These features were inputted to SVM to classify and identify whether the DNA barcode sequences belong to the class of tuna, mackerel, or other fish. The evaluation results showed model SVM was able to perform identification with the accuracy 88%.

Abstract

Big eyes tuna (Thunnus obesus) is a species that potentially valuable as a source of protein and commercial aspect. In the perspective of quality and safety, inappropriate care during catching and processing leading to microorganism contamination and can cause health problems when the meat is consumed. Histamine content, total Histamine Forming Bacteria (HFB), and Total Plate Count (TPC) are the indicator in food safety and quality standard for tuna’s products. This research aims to measured histamine content, total HFB, TPC score and to identify the histamineforming bacteria in big eyes tuna observed during chilling temperature for nine days. There are three stages, sample preparation, storage, chemical and microbiology analysis. The During the observation period, histamine content, total HFB dan TPC score are increased in all part of the sample. Highest TPC sore is observed at day 9 which is 5,4 x 105 CFU/g in belly part, 5,1 x 105 CFU/g in dorsal part and 1,0 x 104 CFU/g in tail part respectively. For total HFB, 2,7 x 105 CFU/g in belly part, 1,4 x 105 CFU/g in dorsal part and 2,3 x 103 SFU/g in tail part respectively. For histamine content, all parts experienced increasing histamine measured 59,73 ppm, 131,10 ppm, and 96,04 ppm respectively. In this research, Bacillus subtilis is identified 99% as histamine forming bacteria in big eyes tuna.

Abstract

Reengineering and prototype production of slurry ice machine using Scraped-surface methode of evaporator wich is called Ice Porridge Making Machine has been conducted to be operated in tropical area especially, Indonesia. Reengineering and slurry ice production was conducted toward the sampel acquired from commercial market. The reengineered machine could produce slurry ice with ice cristal fraction of 30-40% and liquid fraction of 60-70%. Furthermore, a 1 ton/24 hours prototype of slurry ice machine was designed and produced. The machine successfully produced slurry ice of 700 kg/24 hours capacity, then it was tested for durability transporting by a pick-up from Depok, West Java to Lampung, Tasikmalaya, West Java, operated using brackish water at shrimp farm; and Tanjung Lesung, Banten operated with sea water on 35 GT fishing vessel. The machine could produce slurry ice using sea water, brackish water, and solution of 4.0% NaCl. The slurry ice produced was effectively used to preserve the freshness of shrimps from South Lampung and Tasikmalaya compared of using crushed ice. Shrimp preserved by crushed ice showed blackened color at the fifth day storage, while shrimp preserved by slurry ice still looked fresh on 14th day of storage. All Indonesian fishermen and fishery industry should recognize and motivated applying slurry ice technology to improve their quality and productivity.
