Abstract

Abstrak Penguasaan matematika, pendidikan matematika, dan teknologi bagi pendidik matematika menjadi penting untuk melengkapi kompetensi fasilitator pembelajaran matematika saat ini. Untuk mewujudkan hal ini diperlukan suatu tindakan yang dapat mengarahkan para pendidik matematika pada kompetensi tersebut. Melalui suatu kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat, mahasiswa jurusan matematika yang tidak lain calon pendidik matematika mendapat kesempatan untuk dilatih menjadi pengguna teknologi perangkat lunak eXeLearning yang dikombinasikan dengan pengetahuan perangkat pembelajaran matematika dan pengetahuan matematika. Menggunakan model pelatihan yang memadukan sajian teori, praktikum, dan presentasi (STPP), peserta pelatihan diarahkan untuk menghasilkan modul pembelajaran matematika berbasis eXeLearning. Melengkapi capaian yang diberikan dengan pelaksanaan model tersebut, perubahan yang teramati terhadap peserta juga diungkap. Hasilnya, pengetahuan dan pengalaman memadukan materi pelajaran matematika, pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran matematika, dan perangkat eXeLearning memicu mahasiswa untuk mengkonstruksi modul pembelajaran matematika interaktif dan kaya informasi. Kata Kunci: Modul Pembelajaran Matematika, eXeLearning Abstract Mathematical comprehension, mathematics education, and technology for mathematics educator become important to complete competencies of mathematics learning facilitator nowadays. To implement this needed an action that can address mathematics educators in that competencies. Through a community service, students of mathematics department instead of candidate of mathematics educators have opportunity to be trained as the users of technology eXeLearning software combined with knowledge of mathematics learning equipment and mathematical knowledge. Using training model that is integrating theoretical material, practicum, and presentation (TMPP), training participants addressed to construct eXeLearning based mathematical learning module. Completing the attainment given in the model feasibility, the change observed into participants is revealed. As a result, knowledge and experience integrated wih mathematics learning material, developing mathematics learning equipment, and eXeLearning software trigger students to construct interactive and rich information module of mathematics learning. Abstract

This study aims to 1) determine the impact of performance through the supervision of the principal, 2) find out the process of supervising the principal in improving teacher performance, 3) determine the performance of teachers after supervision is carried out. This research is a qualitative research conducted at the Mamajang II Inpres Elementary School with the research subjects being principals and teachers with the categories of senior teachers and junior teachers. Data was collected by using in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation techniques. The data analysis technique uses descriptive analysis techniques through data reduction, data display and data verification, while the validity of the data uses credibility, time triangulation, transperability, dependability, confirmability. The research results obtained are 1) the principal's supervision has an impact on improving teacher performance, including deviations in the implementation of learning so that improvement efforts are made, 2) the principal conducts academic supervision through class visits, meetings with teachers, discussions, class observations and private conversations, 3) teacher performance increased in the aspects of learning planning, implementation of learning and evaluation aspects after the supervision of the principal. Keywords: Teacher performance, supervision

Abstract

Research problems in this study is the low of learning outcomes of IPS on class VB SDN Balang Baru 1 District Tamalate Makassar City. What if the use of contextual approach can improve student learning outcomes of VB grade SDN Balang Baru 1 District Tamalate Makassar City. The objective of the research is to improve students' learning outcomes through contextual approach of VB SDN Balang Baru 1 sub student Tamalate Kota Makassar. This research is a qualitative research with class of recycled / cycle research, which includes planning, implementation, and reflection. . The focus of research is to improve the learning outcomes of IPS through contextual approach. The subjects of the study were teachers and students of VB SDN Balang Baru 1 sub district Tamalate Kota Makassar. Data information technic is test, test, and documentation. Data analysis techniques are data reduction, data presentation, conclusion and verification. Results of research and improvement of student learning outcomes. The increase can be seen in each cycle, cycle I reaches Enough qualification (C) and in cycle II reaches the Good qualification (B). Writing research using contextual approach can improve student learning outcomes of Fifth B grade SDN Balang Baru 1 District Tamalate Makassar City.

Abstract

The research was Development Research with limited test which aimed to develop Mathematics learning devices with Cooperative Model with The Combination Of Experiences, Language, Pictorial, Symbol, Application (ELPSA) and Scientific Approach in Inequality Absolute Value, Fraction, and Irrational material which covered Lesson Plan, Students Book, and Students Worksheet. The subjects of the research were the students of class X at SMAN 2 Polewali Mandar District with the total of 35 students. The Development procedure of the research employed Thiagarajan Model (4-D) which covered four stages, namely defining, design, development, and dissemination. The result of limited test showed that (1) the average score obtained by the students in learning result test is 75.42 from ideal score by 100 with deviation standard 8.69 where 29 from 35 students or 82.85% met individual completeness which shows that classical completeness had been reached; (2) by using Mathematics learning devices with Cooperative Model with the Combination Of Experiences, Language, Pictorial, Symbol, Application  (ELPSA) and Scientific Approach, the students are more active in the learning process; (3) in general, the students gave good responses on the learning devices used; and (4) the level of teacher’ abilities in managing learning process of Cooperative Model with the Combination Of Experiences, Language, Pictorial, Symbol, Application  (ELPSA) and Scientific Approach is in good category, meaning that the teachers’ performances can be maintained. Based on the results of the research, it can concluded that Mathematics learning devices with Cooperative Model with the Combination Of Experiences, Language, Pictorial, Symbol, Application  (ELPSA) and Scientific Approach developed has met the requirement of valid, effective, and practical criteria.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesalahan siswa dan faktor penyebab kesalahan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal materi Sistem Persamaan Linear Dua Variabel (SPLDV) berdasarkan tahapan Newman ditinjau dari kemampuan awal matematika. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IX yang terdiri enam orang yakni masing-masing dua orang untuk setiap tingkatan kemampuan awal matematika. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu tes dan wawancara. Adapun instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu tes kemampuan awal matematika, tes diagnostik SPLDV, dan pedoman wawancara. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini meliputi kondensasi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi atau penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Siswa dengan kemampuan awal matematika tinggi melakukan kesalahan keterampilan proses dan penulisan jawaban; (2) Siswa dengan kemampuan awal matematika sedang melakukan kesalahan memahami, transformasi, keterampilan proses, dan penulisan jawaban; (3) Siswa dengan kemampuan awal matematika rendah melakukan kesalahan membaca, memahami, transformasi, keterampilan proses, dan penulisan jawaban. Adapun faktor yang paling sering menyebabkan kesalahan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal materi SPLDV diantaranya karena siswa kurang teliti dan terburu-buru dalam mengerjakan soal, belum menguasai materi prasyarat, dan sebagai akibat dari kesalahan yang dilakukan sebelumnya.Kata Kunci: Kesalahan, Sistem Persamaan Linear Dua Variabel, Kesalahan Newman, Matematika. This research aims to analyze students’ errors and the factors that cause students’ errors in solving problems of two-variable linear equations system based on Newman’s stages viewed from initial mathematical ability. This research is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The subject of this research is students grade IX that consists of six students which two people for each level of initial mathematical ability. Data collection techniques in this research are test and interview. The research instrument was used, namely the initial mathematical ability test, a diagnostic test of a two-variable linear equation system, and interview guidelines. The data analysis techniques in this study include the condensation of data, the presentation of data, and the verification or drawing of conclusions.  The result shows that: (1) Students with high initial mathematical abilities make mistakes in processing skills and writing in answers; (2) Students with medium early mathematical abilities are making mistakes in understanding questions, transforming questions, processing skills, and writing answers; (3) Students with low initial mathematical abilities make errors in reading questions, misunderstanding questions, transformation, processing skills, and writing answers. The factors that most often cause students' errors in solving the Two-Variable Linear Equations System material problems are students being less thorough and hastily working on the questions, have not mastered the prerequisite material, and as the result of previous mistakes.Keywords: Errors, Two-Variable Linear Equations System, Newman Error, Mathematics.

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar matematika pada siswa kelas VII.4 SMP Negeri 1 Tanete Riaja melalui pemanfaatan media buku tiga dimensi dengan menggunakan model pembelajarn kooperatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah kelas VII.4 SMP Negeri 1 Tanete Riaja dengan jumlah 27 orang siswa pada tahun ajaran 2017/2018. Penelitian ini  dilaksanakan sebanyak 2 siklus, siklus I selama 3 kali pertemuan dan siklus II selama 4 kali pertemuan. Pada pelaksanaan pembelajaran dengan pemanfaatan media buku tiga dimensi dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif  merupakan suatu tindakan yang diberikan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Dari hasil analisis dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VII.4 SMP Negeri 1 Tanete riaja meningkat dari siklus I ke siklus II. Setelah dilakukan pembelajaran dengan pemanfaatan media buku tiga dimensi selama dua siklus pembelajaran, diperoleh hasil sebagai berikut: (1) Hasil belajar matematika siswa pada siklus I berada pada kategori rendah, dengan skor rata-rata 55,55. Skor tertinggi 75 dan skor terendah 15 dari skor maksimal yang mungkin dicapai yaitu 100 dengan standar deviasi 14,299. (2) hasil belajar matematika ssiwa pada siklus II berada pada kategori tinggi dengan rata-rata 70,00. Skor tertinggi 87,5 dan skor terendah 35 dari skor maksimum yaitu 100 dengan standar deviasi 14,839. (3) Hasil analisis kualitatif menunjukkan adanya perubahan yang terjadi pada sikap siswa selama proses pembelajaran sesuai dengan hasil observasi yaitu dengan adanya penerapan model pembelajaran dengan pemanfaatan media buku tiga dimensi dapat meningkatkan minat belajar siswa serta dapat meningkatkan kehadiran siswa.Kata kunci: Aktivitas, Hasil Belajar, Tiga DimensiAbstract. This research was the class action research that have the purpose to increase activities and mathematics learning result in the class VII.4 SMP Negeri 1 Tanete Riaja through the use of the media three dimension books with model of cooperative learning. The subject of this research is a class VII.4 SMP Negeri 1 Tanete Riaja with 27 people the number of students enrolled in academic year 2017/2018. This research was conducted within 2 cycles, the first cycle with 3 times and the second cycle  with 4 times. In the implementation of learning  with the use of three dimension books  is an act that provided students to improve mathematics learning outcomes of students. The collect data  were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. From the analysis it can be concluded that the results of students from class VII.4 junior high school of Tanete Riaja  increased from cycle I to cycle II. After learning to use the three dimension books medium  for two cylce of learning, obtained the following results: (1) The mathematics learning in the first cycle  is at low categories, with an average score of 55,55. Highest score is 75 and lowest score is 15 of the maximum possible score is 100 with a standart deviation of 14,299. (2) The results of mathematics learning in the second cycle is the high category with an average 70,00. Highest score is 87,5 and lowest score is 35 of the maximum possible score is 100 with standart deviation of 14,839. (3) the qualitative analysis the changes occuring in the attitudes of students during  the learning process in accordance with the observation that with the implementation of the learning model by using the three dimension books medium can increase interest in student learning and increase student attendance.  Keywords: Activity, Learning Result, Three Dimension

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui perbandingan prestasi belajar siswa melalui penerapan model kooperatif tipe Snowball Throwing dan Make a Match dalam pembelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen yang melibatkan dua kelompok yang diberi perlakuan dengan sampel penelitian sebanyak 47 siswa dari kelas VII SMP di Sinjai yang dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik double cluster random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen: (1) lembar observasi keterlaksanaan model pembelajaran dan (2) tes hasil belajar matematika. Data dianalisis dengan statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial dengan analisis uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : (1) Skor rara-rata prestasi belajar matematika dari 25 siswa setelah pembelajaran menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Snowball Throwing yaitu 4% berada pada kategori sangat rendah, 40% pada kategori sedang, 36% pada kategori tinggi dan 20% pada kategori sangat tinggi. (2) Skor rara-rata prestasi belajar matematika dari 22 siswa setelah pembelajaran menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Make a Match yaitu 9,09% berada pada kategori sangat rendah, 4,54% pada kategori rendah, 50% pada kategori sedang serta 18,18 % masing-masing pada kategori tinggi dan sangat tinggi. (3) Tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara prestasi siswa setelah menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe snowball throwing dan tipe make a match di Kelas VII SMP dengan materi Bangun Datar Segiempat.Kata Kunci: Prestasi belajar, pembelajaran matematika, model pembelajaran kooperatif, snowball throwing, make a matchAbstract. This research was conducted to determine the comparison of student learning achievement through the application of the cooperative model type Snowball Throwing and Make a Match in mathematics learning. This research was an experimental research involving two groups treated with research sample of 47 students from class VII SMP Sinjai selected by using the double cluster random sampling technique. Techniques of collecting data  using instruments: (1) observation sheet of  learning model implementation and (2) tests of mathematics learning result.Data were analyzed with descriptive statistics and inferential statistics with t-test analysis. The results showed that : (1) Average score of mathematics learning achievement of 25 students after learning using the Snowball Throwing type of cooperative learning model which is 4% in the very low category, 40% in the medium category, 36% in the high category and 20% in the very high category. (2) The average score of mathematics learning achievement from 22 students after learning using the Make a Match type of learning model is 9.09% in the very low category, 4.54% in the low category, 50% in the medium category and 18, 18% in the high and very high categories. (3) There is no significant difference between student achievement after applying the snowball throwing type cooperative learning model and the type of make a match in Class VII Junior High School with the Rectangular Build Up material.Keywords: Learning achievement, mathematics learning, cooperative learning model, snowball throwing, make a match.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh metode diskusi dengan alat peraga papan berpaku terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen yang melibatkan dua kelompok yang diberi perlakuan berbeda. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII dan dipilih dua kelas secara cluster random sampling sebagai sampel penelitian yaitu kelas VII 4 dan VII 5. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa: (1) hasil belajar matematika siswa yang diajar menggunakan metode diskusi dengan alat peraga papan berpaku lebih tinggi dari hasil belajar matematika siswa yang diajar menggunakan metode diskusi, (2) peningkatan hasil belajar matematika siswa yang diajar menggunakan metode diskusi dengan alat peraga papan berpaku lebih tinggi dari peningkatan hasil belajar matematika siswa yang diajar menggunakan metode diskusi. Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh metode diskusi dengan alat peraga papan berpaku terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa.Kata Kunci: Metode Diskusi, Alat Peraga, Alat Peraga Papan Berpaku, Hasil Belajar Matematika SiswaAbstract. This research aimed to determine wheter there was the influence of discussion method with geoboard teaching aids to students’ mathematics learning achievement. The type of this research was a quasi-experiment involving two groups with different treatment. The population of this research was students of grade VII and selected two classes by cluster random sampling as the research sample, that were class VII-4 and VII-5. The results obtained that: (1) students’ mathematics learning achihevement who were being taught by using discussion method with geoboard teaching aids is higher than the students’ mathematics learning achievement who were being taught by using discussion method. (2) The improvement of students’ mathematics learning achievement who were being taught by using discussion method with geoboard teaching aids is higher than the improvement of students’ mathematics learning achievement who were being taught by using discussion method.  From the results of this research, it can be conclude that there is influence of discussion methods with geoboard teaching aids to students’ mathematics learning achievement.Keywords: Discussion Method, Teaching Aids, Geoboard Teaching Aids, Students’ Mathematics Learning Achievement.

Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis: (1) pengaruh interaksi model pembelajaran dengan motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar matematika, (2) Bagi motivasi belajar tinggi, apakah ada perbedaan hasil belajar matematika yang diajar dengan CRH dan NHT , (3) Bagi motivasi belajar rendah, apakah ada perbedaan hasil belajar matematika yang diajar dengan CRH dan NHT. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII semester genap SMPN 1 Pallangga dan SMPN 3 Sungguminasa tahun ajaran 2017-2018. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari satu kelas dalam  setiap sekolah. Tekhnik pengambilan sampel menggunakan cluster double random sampling. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan angket, observasi dan tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan inferensial. Hasil analisis menunjukkan: (1) tidak ada pengaruh interaksi model pembelajaran dengan motivasi belajar, (2) Bagi motivasi belajar tinggi, ada perbedaan hasil belajar matematika yang diajar CRH dan NHT (81,66 > 72,22), (3) Bagi motivasi belajar rendah, ada perbedaan hasil belajar matematika yang diajar CRH dan NHT (78,88 > 74,44).Kata kunci: Course Review Horay, Numbered Head Together, Motivasi, Hasil BelajarAbstract. The sampling of this research are one class in every schools. The samples of this research is cluster double random sampling. The method of collect the data used questionnaire, observation and test. The technique of data analysis used is the technique descriptive and inferential statistical analysis. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dekripsi pemahaman konsep siswa yaitu paham konsep dengan baik, paham konsep tetapi kurang yakin, miskonsepsi, dan tidak tahu konsep pada materi perpangkatan menggunakan Certainty of Response Index (CRI). Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Subjek penelitian sebanyak 11 subjek yang mewakili setiap tingkat pemahaman konsep dari siswa kelas XI SMA. Instrumen penelitian terdiri dari tes objektif dan pedoman wawancara. Tingkat pemahaman konsep dikategorikan menggunakan kategori CRI. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Siswa paham konsep dengan baik disebabkan oleh tingginya motivasi belajar dan rasa suka siswa pada pelajaran matematika. (2) Siswa memahami konsep tetapi kurang yakin disebabkan oleh rendahnya rasa percaya diri, rasa takut salah yang tinggi, kurang menguasai konsep matematika, dan tergesa-gesa dalam menjawab soal. (3) Siswa mengalami miskonsepsi disebabkan oleh kurangnya pemahaman bahkan salah paham konsep. (4) Siswa tidak memahami atau tidak tahu konsep disebabkan oleh siswa tidak memiliki pengetahuan dalam mengerjakan soal perpangkatan, kurangnya kemampuan dan wawasan siswa dalam mengerjakan soal, kurang menguasai konsep, tidak memahami soal, dan kurangnya kemampuan siswa dalam mentransformasikan soal. Kata Kunci: Pemahaman, Konsep, Perpangkatan, Miskonsepsi, Certainty of Response Index (CRI) This study aims to determine the students understanding concept in terms of understanding the concept as well, understanding the concept but not sure, misconception, and not knowing the concept of exponent using Certainty of Response Index (CRI). The type of this study is qualitative study with descriptive approach. The subject of this study is 11 subjects who represent each level of conceptual understanding from class XI of Senior High School. The instruments of this study consist of objective test and interview guidelines. Level of conceptual understanding categorized using CRI category. The result of this study showed that: (1) The students understand with the concept as well because of their high motivation in learning and their love with mathematics. (2) The students understand with the concept but not sure because of their lack in self-confidence, their high false fear, lack in mastering the mathematic concept, and do not careful in answering the questions. (3) The Students experiencing misconceptions that caused by a lack of understanding, and even a misunderstanding towards the concept. (4) The students do not understand/ do not know the concept caused by their haven’t knowledge in answer the question of eksponent, their lack of ability and insight in working on the questions, lack of mastering the concept, not understanding the questions, and the students lack ability in transform the questions.
