Abstract

ABSTRAK Udang oleh masyarakat Indonesia. Konsumsi udang masyarakat Indonesia mencapai 50%. ABSTRACT Solar Panel Prototype Application As An Alternative Electricity Source In Vannamese Shrimp Cultivation Aerators During Pln Power Outages. Shrimp is a fishery commodity that is a popular source of protein for Indonesians. Indonesian shrimp consumption reaches 50%. Indonesia is the fourth-largest shrimp producer (exporter) in the world, with the primary export destination being the United States, where shrimp consumption reaches 1,134 kg per person per year. One of the obstacles to developing shrimp farming in Indonesia is the increasing need for electricity every year. To overcome this, renewable energy is a solution for electricity needs for cultivation operations with all its advantages. The most widely used renewable energy to meet electricity needs in shrimp farming is solar energy, solar energy is a cheap alternative energy, available for free, especially in tropical areas. This electrical energy is used to operate the aerator in shrimp farming ponds, especially Vannamei shrimp. One of the most important aspects in managing the water quality of shrimp farming is the concentration of dissolved oxygen needed for the aquatic ecosystem so that shrimp remain healthy and fresh, but when the oxygen concentration is below 3 mg/L, it can make shrimp stressed and reduce their immune system and if the oxygen concentration touches the number below 1.5 mg/L then within a few hours the shrimp will die, because shrimp are very vulnerable when lacking oxygen, then by utilizing solar energy as a substitute for alternative electricity sources when PLN off, it is hoped that it can help reduce the mortality rate of Vanname shrimp. Keywords: vaname shrimp, increase in electrical energ renewable energy, solar energy, he effect of oxygen concentration on vannamei shrimp.

Abstract

Indonesia’s limited fossil fuel reserves, coupled with increasing national energy demand, highlight the need for alternative and renewable fuel sources. Biomass-derived bio-oil produced through pyrolysis represents a promising solution that can both reduce dependence on petroleum-based fuels and mitigate environmental pollution from underutilized biomass waste. This study investigates the production of bio-oil from candlenut shells and coffee shells through pyrolysis at varying temperatures (250, 350, and 450°C), conducted with and without a NiCl2 catalyst. The bio-oil was characterized for yield, density, and viscosity. The highest bio-oil yields from non-catalytic pyrolysis were achieved at 450°C, amounting to 39.14% for candlenut shells and 41.80% for coffee shells. Catalytic pyrolysis using NiCl2 enhanced the bio-oil yield, producing up to 55.78% (candlenut shells at 450°C) and 58.05% (coffee shells at 350°C). Density measurements showed the highest values in catalytic pyrolysis at 250°C, while the lowest densities were observed in non-catalytic pyrolysis at 450°C. Viscosity followed a similar trend, decreasing with increasing temperature and the presence of the catalyst. FTIR analysis confirmed the presence of functional groups including C–O, C=O, C=C, C≡C, C–H, and O–H. Overall, this study demonstrates the potential of candlenut and coffee shell waste as feasible feedstocks for bio-oil production, offering alternative renewable energy sources for future applications.

Abstract

This paper proposes a speed control strategy of Synchronous Reluctance Motors (SynRM) using an Indirect Matrix Converter (IMC) combined with a finite model predictive speed control (MPSC) and PI current control. This control algoritm is chosen than fully PI in both loops due to improve overall system stability and dynamic response. The IMC architecture offers advantages such as compactness, bidirectional power flow, and the elimination of bulky passive components, making it ideal for efficient motor drive systems. The proposed control method employs predictive algorithm using augmented state variable and cost function minimization technique. In addition, PI controllers here using a pole-assignment method. Both proposed controls aim to guarantee stability and responsiveness for dynamic performances. The MATLAB/Simulink is used here to simulate the system, incorporating practical motor parameters and space vector modulation techniques. Simulation results show that the control algorithm attains satisfactory speed performance, with minimal steady-state error 0.47%, overshoot below 2%, and fast settling time under various load 0.035 seconds and speed profiles. Additionally, the system performs robustly under reversed and sinusoidal speed commands, demonstrating its effectiveness and suitability for real-world industrial applications also need to implement in the experiment for the future works.

Abstract

Performance in competitive futsal relies heavily on mastery of technical skills, particularly passing and dribbling. However, conventional training techniques often fail to replicate the high-pressure dynamics of real matches, particularly in elementary-level development programs with limited training opportunities. Objective: This study evaluated the effectiveness of a Small-Sided Games (SSG) training intervention on the passing and dribbling abilities of adolescent futsal players. This study used a quasi-experimental design with 15 extracurricular students at MAN 2 Palu who were assigned to a pre-test and a post-test. The intervention consisted of eight weeks of SSG training in 3v3 and 4v4 formats, with a focus on controlling space constraints and quick transitions. Technical skills were measured using standardized tools for passing and dribbling in futsal. SPSS 26 was used to analyze the data using a paired t-test, also known as a paired samples t-test. Results showed a highly significant improvement in technical performance (t = 16.733, p < 0.001). The mean technical score increased by 61.6%, rising from 4.33 ± 0.82 to 7.00 ± 0.91. Strong intervention reliability across the sample was confirmed by a 95% confidence interval (CI: 2.325–16.733). The use of Small-Sided Games (SSG) led to a significant increase in ball contact frequency and in decision-making under time-space pressure. According to this study, Small-Sided Games (SSG) are the most time-efficient and effective pedagogical tool for improving technical skills in school-based sports programs. These results enable coaches to shift from linear, repetitive drills to a non-linear, game-based training approach.
