Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) menganalisis kelayakan LKPD IPA dengan tema “Sehatkah Makananku?” untuk menumbuhkan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik dinilai dari validasi dosen ahli. 2) mengidentifikasi karakteristik LKPD IPA dengan tema “Sehatkah Makananku?” yang dikembangkan dan 3) menganalisis respon peserta didik terhadap LKPD yang dikembangkan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Research and Development (RD) model 4D Thiagarajan yang meliputi empat tahapan yaitu, define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Penelitian ini melibatkan 2 validator yaitu 2 dosen ahli dan 20 peserta didik. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket lembar penilaian dan angket respon peserta didik. LKPD IPA yang dikembangkan secara keseluruhan memperoleh nilai 65 dengan presentase keidealan keseluruhan 81,25% dengan nilai B dan termasuk kategori “Baik”. Dengan demikian LKPD IPA berpikir kritis yang dikembangkan dengan tema “Sehatkah Makananku” layak digunakan menurut validasi dosen ahli. Karakteristik LKPD IPA yang dikembangkan adalah: a) menyajikan LKPD berdasarkan pendekatan berbasis masalah dan menampilkan pertanyaan yang melatih peserta didik untuk berpikir kritis. Respon keterbacaan yang dilakukan oleh peserta didik terhadap LKPD yang dikembangkan secara keseluruhan memperoleh skor sebesar 2401 dengan kriteria pencapaian aspek 80% dengan nilai B.Kata kunci: pengembangan LKPD IPA, berbasis masalah, keterampilan berpikir kritisThis research aims are: 1) to analyze the adequacy of the science worksheets titled “Sehatkah Makananku?” for the growing of students’ critical thinking skills as assessed by expert lecturer. 2) to identify the components of the science worksheets titled “Sehatkah Makananku? which is developed and 3) to analyze student’s responce for worksheet. This research used Research and Development (RD) method. The method is constructed by four stages which are defining, designing, developing, and disseminating. But, in this research stopped at develop stage. The research included two expert lecturers as validators. The instrument used in this study is questionnaires to test the adequacy of science worksheets which were analyzed with a five-point scale. The score of the science worksheets titled “Sehatkah Makananku?” is 65 with the overall precentage of ideality is 81,25%. As a result, the science worksheets aimed to develop the students’s critical thinking skills titled “Sehatkah Makananku?” is qualified as evaluated by the expert lecturer by with good categories. The components of science worksheets in this research is: a) This Students’ worksheet is problem based science student worksheet and b) containing of critical thingking question. Abstract

Tujuan  dari  kegiatan  pengabdian   pada  masyarakat  yang dilaksanakan   oleh  tim   dosen Juresan  Pendidikan  Fisika  FPMIPA IKIP Yogyakarta  ini adaJah: pertama,   membantu  industri kecil tempe  benguk  dalam  merancang  dan membuat  sistem  pengolahan  Iimbah, kedua , untuk membuat  sarana  kegiatan   praktikum  dan penelitian  untuk mahasiswa  yang mengambil  mata kuliah    Fisika   Lingkungan    dan   Manajemen    Lingkungan,    melakukan    pengujian    secara kuantitatif    (uji   kualitas   Iimbah)   dan   kualitatif    (angket   untuk   mengetahui    kemanfaatan instalasi  Iimbah bagi lingkungan  sekitarnya).Metode  kegiatan  yang  dilaksanakan   dalam  kegiatan  pengabdian   ini  meliputi  metode: pertama,    untuk   mengetahui   pendapat   masyarakat   mengenai   adanya   instalasi   pengolahan limbah  melalui  wawaneara  dan angket  di lapangan.  Kedua,  untuk memberikan   keterampilan perancangan   dan  pembuatan   sistem  pengolahan   limbah dilakukan praktik  langsung  dengan menghadirkan  beberapa  pemilik industri  sejenis.Indikator   keberhasilan    program   ini  adalah   dengan   semakin   meningkatnya    kualitas lingkungan  di sekitar  industri  tempe  benguk  dengan  adanya  sistem  pengolahan  limbah.   Hasil Jain yang  didapat  adalah  telah  diraneang   dan  dibuat  sistem  pengolahan   limbah  yang  dapat dimanfaatkan    oleh   industri   kecil.   Kesimpulan    yang  didapat   ternyata   sisitem   pengolahan limbah  yang  dibuat  efektif  untuk  rnereduksi   tingkat  berbahayanya   limbah  bagi  lingkungan (dibuktikan   dengan  pengujian   dan  analisis   fisis  Iimbah).  Dari  hasil  wawaneara   dan  angket ditunjukkan   bahwa  masyarakat   serempat   merasakan   manfaat   keberadaan   instalasi  tersebut, limbah  yang asalnya  tergenang  menjadi  sumber  penyakit  dan bau dapat  teratasi  dengan  baik. Banvak   pengusaha   industri   yang  menyadari   pentingnya   instalasi   pengolahan   Iimbah  tapi sulitnya   finansial,   sehingga   perlu  lebih  dikembangkan    pola  pengabdian   untuk  pernbuatan sistern pengolahan  1imbah di industri  keeil. Abstract

This study aims to develop an instrument for teachers’ perceptions of differentiated instruction by adopting Oriondo and Antonio's instrument development model. This study involves three stages of development: instrument planning, pilot testing, and measurement. The respondents involved were 152 subject teachers at the secondary school level. The instrument developed contains differentiated instruction principles: learning environment, quality curriculum, responsive teaching, continuous assessment, and leadership and routines. A combination of the Guttman Scale and Item Response Theory was used to measure teachers' perceptions, which gave significant results. The analysis results show that most instrument items follow the model used, but some items require adjustment. The implication of this study is the importance of developing valid and reliable instruments to measure teachers' perceptions of differentiated instruction. The findings can contribute to improving classroom learning practices and student learning outcomes. Thus, this study provides a strong foundation for the development of teacher professionalism and the overall improvement of education quality.

Abstract

21st-century skills are important for students to be equipped to face the challenges of the 21st century. So it needs an appropriate approach to be able to provide resources that are by the demands of the 21st century. This study aimed to determine the influence of STEM approaches in science learning to improve students' 21st-century skills and determine the indicators of STEM elements in science learning. The method used in this study is a literature study or a study of research results from several journals. The instrument used is a Paper Classification Form (PCF) table. The data were analyzed using percentages and descriptive calculations. The study results showed that n methods are often used in STEM approaches to improve century skills by using a STEM approach only, followed by a combination of various learning models such as inquiry, PBL, and PjBL. K21st century skills most often studied are students' critical thinking skills. Indicator of STEM approaches in science learning includes Science, which is related to natural symptoms and observation; technology is related to the use of tools; Engineering is related to designing to make solutions; and Mathematics is related to linkage analysis. The STEM approach is very influential in improving students' 21st-century skills: communication, creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration.

Abstract

This study aims at producing an assessment instrument of the PISA model to measure students problem-solving skills and scientific literacy in junior high schools that are valid, practical, and having potential effects. This research employed the design of development studies. The analysis used the Item Response Theory (IRT) Rasch model based on the junior high school students' responses to the developed PISA assessment instrument on natural science subjects. The result of this study was a test set of PISA model for the material of Vibration, Wave, and Sound consisting of 40 items. The test was valid in terms of content, constructs, and language according to the expert assessment, and practical based on small group trials. It also had a potential effect based on the students answers and questionnaires results in the field test. The qualitative analysis showed that the developed test had several potential effects, i.e. the development of students' problem-solving skills and scientific literacy so that they gained a relatively high ability to solve a test with the PISA model. The results of quantitative analysis through field test trials showed that there was a significant effect from the application of the PISA model test to enhance students scientific literacy and problem-solving skills in the junior high school with the Sig. value of 0.000 which was less than the significance level of 0.05 ( = 5%).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) mengetahui kelayakan LKPD materi ekstraksi DNA model project based learning dalam meningkatkan kemampuan collaborative problem-solving menurut validator, (2) mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan collaborative problem-solving menggunakan LKPD materi ekstraksi DNA model project based learning berdasarkan pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji statistik deskriptif. Model yang digunakan adalah model pengembangan BorgGall yang terdiri atas tujuh tahap. Data kelayakan produk dikumpulkan menggunakan lembar validasi komponen produk dan angket respon peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data collaborative problem solving adalah observasi menggunakan bentuk instrumen lembar observasi, penilaian diri dan penilaian teman. Teknik analisa data adalah mean, uji normalitas, dan t-test. Penilaian produk oleh ahli menghasilkan nilai A dengan kategori sangat baik pada aspek kelayakan isi, penyajian, kebahasaan, dan grafis. Respon peserta didik terhadap produk LKPD adalah valid dan dapat digunakan. Kemampuan collaborative problem solving meningkat secara signifikan menurut penilaian observer, self-assessment, dan peer- assessment berdasarkan hasil perhitungan mean, persentase dan t-test.Kata kunci: Collaborative Problem Solving, LKPD, Project Based LearningThe aimed of this research (1) known the feasible worksheet that use project based learning model for extraction of DNA based on expert assessment, (2) known the enhancement of collaborative problem solving skill of the pupils grade IX junior high school by using the developed worksheet based on statistical analysis. Development of the worksheet based on BorgGall stage with seven stages. The data for expedience of product collected using validation sheet and student's responses sheet. While the data of collaborative problem solving skill collected by doing observation based on observation sheet, self assessment and peer to peer assessment use quesionnaire. Analysis of the data used mean, normality test, and t test to know the differences between before the product given and after the product given. The expert give A score in four aspects (content, serving, languange, and design). The worksheet was valid and could be used according to pupils. Collaborative problem solving skill significantly increased according to observer’s assessment, self assessment, and peer assessment after data analyzed (mean percentage) and tested using t-test.Keywords: Collaborative Problem Solving, worksheet, Project Based Learning

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan LKS IPA tema “Kalor dan Pembuatan Garam” digunakan dalam pembelajaran IPA dan mengetahui berapa peningkatan keterampilan proses siswa selama menggunakan LKS IPA dengan tema “Kalor dan Pembuatan Garam”. Penelitian desain menggunakan metode Research and Development (RD) model 4-D Thiagarajan. Instrumen penelitian meliputi instrumen penilaian LKS dan instrumen keterampilan proses sains meliputi lembar observasi dan angket respon siswa. Data hasil penilaian produk dianalisis dengan pedoman kriteria penilaian ideal untuk menentukan kualitas LKS. Data hasil uji coba lapangan awal dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil pengembangan LKS IPA tema “Kalor dan Pembuatan Garam” layak digunakan sebagai bahan ajar dalam pembelajaran IPA, karena secara keseluruhan memperoleh nilai A dengan kategori sangat baik, menurut dosen ahli dan guru IPA. Berdasarkan hasil observasi uji lapangan, keterampilan proses sains siswa menunjukkan adanya peningkatan sebesar 11,72 persen selama menggunakan produk LKS.Kata kunci: LKS, Guided Inquiry, Keterampilan Proses.The research aims to know the advisability of worksheet with theme “Kalor dan Pembuatan Garam” by guided inquiry approach and how much the improvement students scientific process skill while using the worksheet. The design research used Research and Development (RD) model of 4-D  Thiagarajan. The research instruments were woksheet assessment, observation sheet of scientific process skill, and students questionnaire responses. The result data of product assessment were analyzed by criteria guidelines of ideal assessment to determine the worksheet quality. The result data of field preliminary test were analyzed descriptively. The result of the development of this science worksheet with theme “Kalor dan Pembuatan Garam” is advisable to be used as learning medium because it gained grade A in overall with excellent category according to expert lecturers and science teachers. Based on field test result, the students scientific process skill showed improvement with amount of 11,72 percentage while using the worksheet.Key words: Worksheet, Guided Inquiry, Scientific Process Skill.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Subject Specific Pedagogy (SSP) IPA berbasis Pendekatan Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) yang valid untuk meningkatkan literasi sains siswa, penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan dengan model 4-D. Prosedur penelitian ini meliputi tahap define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu lembar validasi SSP, lembar keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dan instrumen tes literasi sains. Teknik analisis yang digunakan yaitu analisis deskriptif kelayakan SSP, persentase keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, dan peningkatan literasi sains dengan N-gain score. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Subject Specific Pedagogy (SSP) IPA meliputi silabus, RPP, LKS, dan instrumen penilaian valid untuk meningkatkan literasi sains siswa dengan kategori sangat baik (A). Literasi sains siswa mengalami peningkatan setelah menggunakan SSP berbasis pendekatan CTL dengan N-gain score sebesar 0,51 dengan kategori sedang.Kata kunci: SSP IPA, CTL, Literasi sainsThis study aims to develop a valid Specific Pedagogy (SSP) IPA with Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach to improve students’ scientific literacy. The study is research and development 4-D model. The procedure of this study includes define, design, develop, and disseminate. The instrument used is the validation sheet of the SSP, the instructional learning sheet and the literacy test instrument of science. The analytical technique used is descriptive analysis of the feasibility of SSP, percentage of learning implementation, and improvement of scientific literacy with N-gain score. The results showed that the subject specific pedagogy (SSP) of IPA includes syllabus, RPP, LKS, and assessment instruments is valid to improve students’ science literacy with very well category. Students scientific literacy improve after using SSP with CTL approach with N-gain score of 0,51 which is in medium category.Keywords: SSP IPA, CTL, Scientific Literacy

Abstract

The main objective of this study was to develop an Online Diagnostic Assessment (ODA) that can effectively measure junior high school students’ readiness to learn science within the framework of the Merdeka Curriculum. Unlike previous diagnostic tools that are mostly offline or limited in scope, this ODA provides an innovative, technology-based solution that identifies student readiness and misconceptions while offering timely feedback to support differentiated learning. Using the 4-D development model, the research includes the Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate stages. At the Define stage, the instrument grids were identified according to the curriculum. In the Design stage, the assessment prototype was developed using Google Form. The Develop stage involved validation by experts and field tests in two junior high schools, resulting in a valid and reliable instrument, with an Aiken's V value above 0.80, Cronbach's Alpha 0.736, and McDonald's Omega 0.768. The results of the EFA analysis showed all items had Measures of Sampling Adequacy (MSA) of more than 0.5. The distribution of respondents' scores shows that the instrument is effective in differentiating students' abilities. Thus, the developed ODA is valid, reliable, and ready to be used to assess students' readiness in science learning.

Abstract

The STEM approach through the augmented reality usage can provide visualization to students in online learning. The purposes of this research are to develop Physics E-Worksheet based on STEM using augmented reality system, and to improve the problem-solving skills of high school students on Momentum and Impulse material. The type of research used is research and development (R&D) with a 4D model (define, design, develop and disseminate). This study involved 24 students as a field trial class and 31 students in class X as a field operational class. The results of this study are: This Physics AR E-Worksheet is valid and reliable for use in the physics learning process for Momentum and Impulse material based on the results of validation analysis using an average value of a scale of four with a score of 3.73 in very good criteria. The results of the Paired T-Test analysis showed the value of Sig. 0.00, so that there is an effect of using AR Physics E-Worksheet on improving problem-solving skills of high school students. The score of Normalized Gain obtained 0.77 in high category improvement. The results showed that the AR Physics E-Worksheet was effective in improving problem solving skills so that it could be used as a learning medium for the Momentum and Impulse topic by class X science students.
