Abstract

This study aims to identify teachers' beliefs and analyze their praxis in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum, as well as to examine the impact of teacher beliefs on their praxis in the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in Class II at SD Negeri 91 Palembang. The research design used is a descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques include interviews, observations, and documentation. The data sources in this study consist of the school principal, the Class II homeroom teacher, and several Class II students. The collected data were analyzed through stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results show that teacher beliefs regarding the Merdeka Curriculum implementation indicate that teachers generally have a positive belief in understanding the Merdeka Curriculum, although challenges still exist, such as limited understanding of the essence of the Merdeka Curriculum, a lack of continuous training, and difficulties in developing assessments that align with the principles of differentiated learning. Teachers' praxis in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum shows efforts to apply differentiated and project-based learning, but it has not been fully consistent. Teachers still tend to use conventional methods and lack confidence in the new approaches.

Abstract

In the current educational landscape, student-centered and interactive learning methods are increasingly important for improving learning outcomes. However, the implementation of innovative teaching strategies is often limited by the availability of effective learning media. This study aimed to examine the effect of the Team Games Tournament (TGT) learning method assisted by Wordwall on the science learning outcomes of sixth-grade students at MI Daarul Aitam Palembang. The research employed a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental design, specifically the Nonequivalent Control Group Pretest–Posttest Design. Samples were selected through purposive sampling, and data were collected using observation, tests, and documentation. Data analysis included validity, reliability, discrimination, difficulty level, normality, homogeneity, and hypothesis testing. The findings revealed that the experimental class achieved a mean post-test score of 84.56, while the control class obtained a mean score of 68.75. The Independent Samples t-Test produced a significance value of 0.000, which is lower than 0.05, indicating that the null hypothesis (H₀) was rejected and the alternative hypothesis (H₁) was accepted. These results demonstrate that the TGT learning method supported by Wordwall has a significant positive effect on students’ science learning outcomes. The study suggests that integrating game-based cooperative learning with digital media can enhance student engagement, motivation, and academic achievement. Therefore, the application of TGT assisted by Wordwall can serve as an effective and enjoyable strategy for improving science learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

The lack of students activity in the Indonesian language learning process is one of the problems found in grade V students. This study aims to determine the effect of the use of the Wordwall educational platform on the activeness of grade V students in Indonesian language subjects at SD Negeri 159 Palembang. This study uses a Quasi Experimental research type with a quantitative approach and a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population in this study was all grade V students, with the sampling technique using saturated sampling, so that the sample amounted to 43 students consisting of class V A as the experimental class and class V B as the control class. The research instrument used was a student activity questionnaire that had been tested for the validity of the data using validity and reliability. The data analysis technique uses normality tests and homogeneity tests, while the hypothesis testing technique uses the Independent Sample T-Test. The results of the study show that there is an influence of the use of the Wordwall educational platform on student activity. This is shown by the results of the hypothesis test with a significance value of 0.001 < 0.05, so that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. In addition, descriptively there was an increase in the average student activity in the experimental class from 82.29 to 92.29. Thus, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the use of the Wordwall educational platform on the activeness of grade V students in Indonesian subjects.

Abstract

Early marriage remains a serious social issue in Indonesia, with wide-ranging consequences for adolescents' futures, particularly in education, health, and psychological development. This community service activity stemmed from limited awareness among students at SMA PGRI Prabumulih Utara, Sidogede Village, Prabumulih Utara Subdistrict, Prabumulih City, regarding the risks of marrying before reaching sufficient maturity. To address this, students from Community Service Learning (KKN) at UIN Raden Fatah Palembang held an educational seminar on preventing early marriage, working with a resource person from the Prabumulih Utara Office of Religious Affairs (KUA). The program proceeded through preliminary observation, coordination with the school, delivery of materials, group discussion, and a brief evaluation. Topics covered the concept of marriage in Qur'anic verses and hadith, the minimum legal marriage age under Law Number 16 of 2019, factors driving early marriage from educational and socio-economic angles, impacts on reproductive health and psychological condition, religious scholars' views, and preventive strategies. Findings show a marked increase in students' comprehension after the seminar, reflected in their growing determination to postpone marriage and prioritize education and future goals. The activity confirms that a participatory, education-based approach is effective in preventing early marriage in schools.
