Abstract

Abstract: This study describes and explains the application of the Roleplay method in learning sonkeigo and kenjougo in Japanese language education students at FKIP Riau University. The purpose of this study was to determine whether the Roleplay method was effective in improving sonkeigo and kenjougo learning in Japanese language education students of FKIP Riau University after using the Roleplay method. In this study the authors used a quasi-experimental research design characterized by a comparison class. Data collection was carried out using test techniques. The test results were processed using the Kolmogorov-Smirnova test in SPSS Version 16. The test results in the pretest and posttest of the experimental class had increased, in the pretest the average value of students was 78.7 while in the posttest 93.1. Thus, the Roleplay method is effective in improving the learning outcomes of Japanese Language Education FKIP Riau University students in 2017.Key Words: Roleplay Method, Sonkeigo, Kenjougo

Abstract

ABSTRACT: This study, entitled The ability determines subordinating conjunctions IT class VIII students of Al-Izhar School Pekanbaru. This study aims to determine students' ability to determine the conjunctions in a sentence. The method used is descriptive analysis method. The research sample numbering 56. The results found (1) the percentage of subordinating conjunctions ability to determine the time of high category with a percentage of 84.18%, (2) ability to determine the percentage of subordinating conjunctions because high category with a percentage of 83.21%, (3) the percentage of ability determine the subordinating conjunctions supposition being categorized with the percentage of 78.21%, (4) ability to determine the percentage of subordinating conjunctions goal being categorized with the percentage of 81.61%, (5) ability to determine the percentage of subordinating conjunctions konsesif high category with a percentage of 86.10%, (6) ability to determine the percentage of subordinating conjunctions complementation being categorized with the percentage of 80.00%.Keywords: ability to determine , subordinating conjunctions , students viii

Abstract

Abstract: This study aimed to describe the formation of interrogative sentences in the Knight-warrior lil'maldhita works Ki Suratno. This study used a descriptive method with documentation. The results showed that the formation of interrogative sentences contained in Knight-warrior lil'maldhita works Ki Suratno five, namely (1) the formation of interrogative sentences requesting recognition answer "yo / friend (yes)" or "does / does not (not)", or "yo / friend (yes)" or "does not (not)", (2) interrogative sentences which seek answers about one of the sentences formed with the help wondering what the word. Who, where, how, when and why (what, who, where, how and when) according to which part of the sentence in question, (3) interrogative sentences are the answer, ask 'why' was formed with the help wondering why the word or why (why or why), (4) interrogative sentences which seek answers in the form of opinions (about being asked) was formed with the help of words wondering how, how, or how (and how), and (5) of interrogative sentences that justifies, in truth expecting answers to strengthen asked. Interrogative sentences contained in the Knight-warrior lil'maldhita of one hundred and twenty-seven data, among others, (1) Liripun how ?: (2) the truth of how Yayi ?: (3) What ?: tetimbanganmu respectively (4) That the Father? and (5) Then his yayi king ?.Key Words: Interrogative Sentences, Knight-warrior lil'maldhita

Abstract

ABSTRAK:This research is to describe useing coordinative conjunction in a novel Kasih Tak Terlerai created by Soeman HS. The aim of this research is to know and to discribe about using coordinative conjunction in a novel Kasih Tak Terlerai created by Soeman HS. This research is about descriptive qualitative. The source of this research is a novel Kasih Tak Terlerai created by Soeman HS consist of 11 sub tittle. The result of this research refer to formulation and the aim of research. Frist data be fount as much as 172 be found using coordinative conjunction in the first as much as16, using coordinative conjunction in the middle is as 152, and using coordinative conjunction in the end is nothing. Using coordinative conjunction whic connecting klausa by clausa as much as 152, and conecting sentence by sentence as much as 16 data. Second, the meaning of this novel Kasih Tak Terlerai created by Soeman HS as much as 15 meaning that is (1) quantity meaning (and) sequences meaning (then and past), selection meaning (or) opposite meaning (buts, however, while, butrather and but) and meaning more (moreover).Key words: coordinative conjunction, quantity meaning, sequences selection, apposite and more over meaning

Abstract

Abstract: This research is entitled the ability to write exposition text of eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Tembilahan Kota. The purpose of this study was to describe the level of the ability to write exposition text of eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Tembilahan Kota, and to describe the differences in the ability to write exposition text of eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Tembilahan Kota in each sample group class. The data of this research are the results of the exposition writing ability test of the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Tembilahan Kota which is divided into 2 classes and consists of 45 populations with a sample of 40 students. The results of the study after testing using the one-sample chi square test, the ability to write exposition text is the same as the comparative value of 69. The ability to write exposition text of eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Tembilahan Kota is moderate. Then, testing was done using an Mann Whitney test, to determine the differences in the ability to write exposition text of eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Tembilahan Kota between sample groups. The result is that there is no difference in the ability to write exposition text between classes of sample groups.Keywords: abilities, exposition text, students

The analysis the research’s data is done to (1) 46 essays Suggestive Narration implicit message, (2) 40 essays Suggestive Narration in imagination’s aspect, (3) 8 essays Suggestive Narration figurative language, (4) 4 essays Suggestive Narration connotation aspect, and (5) 9 essays Suggestive Narration  figure of a language. This research was identification that (1) Writing Suggestive Narration skill in delivering implicit message is high category, (2) Writing Suggestive Narration skill in building imaginations is high category, (3) Writing Suggestive Narration skill in using figurative language is low category, (4) Writing Suggestive Narration Skill in using connotation language is low category, (5) Writing Suggestive Narration Skill in using figure of a language is low category.Keywords         : Skill, Writing,  Suggestive Narration

Abstract: This study, entitled The ambiguity in the Act No. 39 of 1999 on Human Rights. This study aimed to describe the types of indicators causes ambiguity and ambiguities contained in Law No. 39 of 1999 on Human Rights. The research is a qualitative research with descriptive methods. Data of this study are the verses contained in Law No. 39 of 1999 on Human Rights. The results of the research I have found in this study is in Law No. 39 of 1999 on Human Rights, there is a paragraph that is ambiguous, with the kind of level of grammatical ambiguity at the level of morphological and grammatical ambiguity at the level syntactic level. Among the types of ambiguity, ambiguous dominant contained in Law No. 39 of 1999 on Human Rights is the kind of level of grammatical ambiguity at the level of syntax. Ambiguities contained in Law No. 39 of 1999 on Human Rights of which cause for reference are not clear, the composition of the structure of phrases and sentences, and polysemy.Key words: ambiguity, the Law on Human Rights, the type of ambiguity, the indicators cause ambiguity.

Abstract: This research is entitled Deixis in the Batak Hata Novel Si Tumoing: Pasiding Holang Padimpos Holong Works by Saut Poltak Tambunan. The background of this research is that the researcher wants to describe how the use of person deixis, place deixis, and time deixis. The purpose of this study is to describe the use of deixis persona, place deixis, and time deixis. This research is a qualitative descriptive study that describes the results of the research conducted. Based on the data collection techniques carried out in this study, there were 648 data. Through the data collection techniques carried out identified 533 person deixis, 70 datadeixis, and 45 data in the Deixis in the Batak Hata Novel Si Tumoing: Pasiding Holang Padimpos Holong Works by Saut Poltak Tambunan.Key Words: Deixis, the definition of deixis, a type of deixis.

Abstract

ABSTRACT: This research aims to describe of the shape persuasive speech and persuasive techniques by Mario Teguh used in the program Mario Teguh Golden Ways on Metro TV. This research is use qualitative study methods with a descriptive approach. Objects in this research is persuasive speech by Mario Teguh. Technique of data collection is done by using see-note technique and documentation of three-run episodes Mario Teguh Golden Ways. Results of this research of classification shape a persuasive speech and persuasive techniques by Mario Teguh in the program Mario Teguh Golden Ways on Metro TV. Based on the data analysis found that the shape used persuasive speech by Mario Teguh are: (1) assertive, (2) directive, (3) commisive, (4) expressive, and (5) the declaration, while persuasive techniques used are: (1) the association, (2) integration, (3) pay of, (4) fear hearing, (5) red-herring, (6) seetings.Keys words: persuasive speech, shape of persuasive, persuasive techniques.

Abstract

Abstract: This research analyzes the act of directive in movie 99 Light in European Sky by Hanum Salsabiela Rais and Rangga Almahendra. The analyzed aspects include the nature of the language law guideline in the 99 light movie in the European sky and the function of the guideline speech act in the 99 light movie in the European sky. The type of this research is qualitative research with descriptive method, research that provides data in the form of written or verbal words from the interlude 99 Light in the European sky. Data collection methods in this study use download techniques, viewing, pointing, and plotting based on the data received. This research data comes from the movie 99 Light in the Sky Europe. The speech acts contained in the 99 Light films in European Sky are: inquiries, questions, instructions, prohibitions, consents and advice.
