Abstract

ABSTRACT: This study discusscolloquial and argot in Indonesian LawakKlub (ILK) TV Show based of the form and meaning of the words uttered by the ILK participants. The research was conducted using qualitative approach and descriptive method to describe the form and meaning of the words from the colloquial and argot used by the participant of the ILK TV Show. The subjects of this research were 3 episodes of ILK TV Show. The data of the research was the discourse delivered by the participant of ILK TV Show. The data was collected using recording and noting technique which were classified based on the form of the colloquial and argot. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that in the ILK TV Show, there were several forms of colloquial and argot. Moreover, there were also several vocal and consonant omissions as well assome removals of the last syllable of the words. The forms of colloquial founded were: (1) colloquial using the basic word, (2) colloquial in which thevowel a is omitted, (3) colloquial in which the vowel i is omitted, (4) colloquial in which the vowel e is omitted (5)colloquial in which the consonant h is omitted(6) colloquial in which the consonant s is omitted, (7) colloquial in which the vowel e and the consonant ng are omitted, (8) colloquial in which the consonant b and vowel a are omitted, (9) colloquial in which the consonant b and vowel e is omitted, (10) colloquial in which the consonant k and vowel a is omitted, (11) colloquial in which the last syllable is omitted. Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aimed to describe the communication patterns and sentence structure of deaf students at Special School (SLB) Negeri Pembina Pekanbaru. The data was in the form of conversation whether uttered or gestured by the 19 participants. The method of this study was descriptive. The data was collected by using observation, video recording, notes, and literature study. To analyze the data, the writer recorded the conversations done by the deaf students, noted the important information about the respondents from the conversation, collected the video of their conversation, translated various models of their communication, classified and identified the patterns of their communication, and noted the patterns found. The theories used in this study were Cangara (2010), Nurudin (2007), Effendy (2009), Tarigan (1990), Muhammad (2002), Hakim (2007), Rakhmat (2007), Dwidjosumarto (2006), Hernawati (2007), Ahmad (1997), Kridalaksana (1986), and Mulyana (2005). The results of this study found two patterns of communication done by the deaf students including diadik and small group communication. Based on the category of sentence structure, the students used nominal as dominated sentence. The specific characteristics of the sentence used by the deaf students at Special School (SLB)Pembina were brief and repeated frequently.Keywords : Communication Patterns, Sentence Structure, Deaf.

Abstract

Abstract: This research is entitled the conversational implicature in the comic webtoon 304th study room by Felicia Huang, a pragmatic review. The purpose of this research is to describe and analyze the types and functions of conversational implicature contained in the comic webtoon 304th study room by Felicia Huang. The method used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques using reading techniques, and note taking techniques. Data analysis technique is in the form of data transcription. The results of the study are firstly there are three types of conversational implicature, namely a) special conversation implicator which consists of 21 data b) general conversation implicator, totaling 14 data c) conversation scale with 3 data scale; secondly, the implicature function in the webtoon comic 304th study room by Felicia Huang, namely a) the implicature function approves 1 data, b) the implicature function commands 5 data, c) the implicature function requests 6 data, d) the implicature function confirms 8 data, e) functions the implicature complains 7 data, f) the implicature function insinuates 6 data and g) the implicature function states 5 data.Key Words: Implications, Types of Conversation Implications, Implications Function, Webtoon 304th Study Room by Felicia Huang

Abstract

Abstract: This research the purpose of this research was to describe and eksplaint the cause of tense in students essay. This research was conducted in Japanese Language Education department Teacher is Training and Education Faculty of the Riau University. This research is a qualitative research with descriptive method. The main data sources from fifteen of essay 2016 grade students of Japanese Language Education Study Program University of Riau’s students. The data was obtained by documentatioan technique. The analysis results show that the mistake made by interlingual transfers and intralingual transfers. Interlingual transfers is error caused by the influence of Indonesia language on the target language and intralingual transfers is error caused by the difficulty of the target language system or internal factors the target language.Key Words: Error, mistake, tenses, essay, interlingual transfers, intralingual transfers

Abstract

Abstract: Homonym is a word, phrase or sentence that has the same form and sound but has a different meaning. The problem that I researched in this study is what are homonyms in Nias language? What are the homonym meaning that contain in Nias language? The aims of this research are to analyze and describe the form and meaning of homonyms in the Nias language which has Gunungsitoli dialect. The method used in this research is descriptive method,a method is used to explain the data that is taken in this researc by using interview, data collection, record, documentation and literature. The application of interview is interviewingor questioning for Nias society in the town of Gunungsitoli were considered to meetcriteria as a sources who understand the language of homonyms in Nias then the result is written down and documentation as collecting the homonym words in Nias language used as research material then analyzed according to the research problem. There are two forms of research results homonym in Nias language, namely 457 that homophones and homonyms homograph and 1homograph homonym but not homophones. In terms of the meaning of homonyms, found 20 homonym meaning, e.g meaning annoyed/angry, understand the meaning, the meaning of the command, meaning informing, meaning conditions, meaning lazy, meaning asked, meaning the ban, meaning the nature, the meaning of work/activity, describe the type of meaning, the meaning of time, meaning size/weight/number, the meaning of the terms, meaning do not like, meaning approved, meaning actors/subjects, meaning surrender, meaning bored and do not understand the meaning. Result of this research shows that the use of homonyms in Nias language community is very high.Key words: Homonyms, Homograph, Homophones, Nias Language

ABSTRACT: This study aims to describe the principles infraction of cooperation are contained in Totto-chan novel by Tetsuko Kuroyanagi. The principles of cooperation in a conversation that is maxim of quantity, maxim of quality, maxim of relevancy, and maxim of the way. Basides that, this study also talked about the effect of the principles infraction of the conversation between the characters in the novel. This study is a quantitative research with design of descriptive. The result of research in the form of the classification of the principles infraction of cooperation and its effect in Totto-chan novel by Tetsuko Kuroyanagi. Abstract

Abstract: This thesis is titled "Intertekstual Study of Syair Siak Sri SyaiIndrapura Dar Al-Salam Al-Qiyam with Drama script of Pengabsahan Raja Kecil (Anak Mayat)". This study aims as follows. The purpose of this study is to describe the relationship and the differences in the building blocks of the Syair Siak Indrapura manuscript Dar Al-Salam Al-Qiyam and the Theater Manuscript Pengabsahan Raja Kecil (Anak Mayat) which are limited to aspects of character, plot and setting. The research method used is the intertext method. Intertext method is a method that links other texts in a study. As the essence of a text in which there is another text. The theory used in this study is intertextual, structuralism, poetry, drama script. This research is a descriptive qualitative study that describes and describes the results of the study. The nature of the hypogram can be classified into three types, namely negation, affirmation, and innovation. The results show that (1) the similarities and differences in the constructing elements of the two manuscripts and (2) the intertextual relationship between drama scripts Legitimate the Little King (Corpses) and Poetry Siak Sri Indrapura Dar Al-Salam Al-Qiyam in the form of negation, affirmation, and Innovation.Key Words: intertextual, drama script, Syair Siak Sri Indrapura, drama script Anak Mayat.

Abstract

Abstract: Japanese language has a variety of informal languages that are used by men and women as a characteristic of gender that consist of male (danseigo) and female (joseigo) languages. Male and female languages have their own gender markers for each element of the sentence. The use of various languages is widely available in media such as drama, songs, manga, magazines or television shows. This study aimed to explain the gender markers contained in one of Japanese dramas and the factors that cause these gender markers. This study used sources from a Japanese drama titled Yamada and the Seven Witches. This drama consists of eight episodes and and its genre is mistery and comedy. The technique used during data collection was the listening method, then analyzed by using Agih method. There is an advanced technique of the Agih method called the technique of reading markers to collect markers contained in the drama.Based on the data analysis, there were five markers of male and female languages found. The five markers were pronouns of person (ninshou dameishi), final particles (shujoushi), candoushi, nouns (meishi), and verbs (doushi). The five markers were then described using the model of speaking theory. According to the results, there were two factors that influenced the differences in gender markers in the drama of Yamada and The Seven Witches, namely the interlocutor and the situation. If the interlocutor were a respected person and or in a formal situation, then the speakers would used a variety of standard languages, but if on the contrary, then the speaker would use a variety of language respectively.Key Words: Gender Markers, Male Language Variety, Female Language Variety

Abstract

Abstract: This study titled ability to determine the expression of Islamic religion in the world inspirational stories hijrahmu work Citra Dewi Wulan Madrasah Aliyah class XI student of Darul Hikmah Pekanbaru. This research focused on the ability to determine the expression of Islamic religion in the world inspirational stories hijrahmu Citra Dewi Wulan work and to describe a significant difference in Madrasah Aliyah class XI student of Darul hikmah Pekanbaru. The method used is an inferential statistical descriptive method. These research data are the result of the test determines the ability of Islamic religious expression in the work world inspirational stories hijrahmu Citra Dewi Wulan Madrasah Aliyah class XI student of Darul Hikmah Pekanbaru, consisting of 5 lessons with a population of 107 students and the number of samples of 85 students. Based on research, the result that (1) the ability to determine the expression of Islamic religion in the world inspirational stories hijrahmu Citra Dewi Wulan category work is very low; (2) the ability to determine the expression of Islamic religion in the world inspirational stories hijrahmu between the same class, meaning, there is no difference in the ability to determine the expression of Islamic religion in the world inspirational stories hijrahmu Citra Dewi Wulan work under different classes XI or XI. All in all, it can be concluded that the ability to determine the expression of Islamic religion in the world inspirational stories hijrahmu work Citra Dewi Wulan Madrasah Aliyah class XI student of Darul Hikmah category Pekanbaru very low at <60.Keywords: The ability to indicate, Islamic religious expression, inspiration hijrahmuworld short story.

Abstract: This research titled Malay Language Affixation Riau Isolek Serapung. This study aims to identify data on affixes, namely (1) type, (2) function and (3) its meaning. The type of research used is qualitative research. Qualitative research is a research procedure that produces descriptive data in the form of written or spoken words of the people and the behavior observed for the research. Sources of data in this study are informers or native speakers from Malay in Serapung Village, Kuala Kampar Subdistrict, Riau Province. Data collection techniques in this study include recording, interviewing and referring to notes and notes from reports. The technique of data analysis is done by listening, transcribing, describing and concluding a report. Based on research found 5 affix consisting of prefix, infix, suffix, confix and simulfiks.
