Abstract

This study is a stage in the development of e-comics assisted by figma and flipbooks on the material of reading biographical texts for high school students. This study aims to describe the analysis of student needs for learning to read biographical texts. The survey method in the research method used in this study. The data collection instrument in this study is a needs analysis questionnaire. This study uses a Likert scale to measure students' views and perceptions of the e-comics developed. This study uses a questionnaire sheet made in the form of a closed statement with a scoring range of 1 to 5. The questionnaires compiled were addressed to students in two high schools in Pekanbaru City. This sampling technique is based on the sampling quota determined by the researcher. The data analysis technique is carried out by changing the category value into an assessment score and analyzing the score. The results showed that 87.70% of students had difficulty in learning to read biographical texts and 88.74% of students wanted learning to read biographical texts to be presented with interesting and innovative media. This shows the need to compile e-comics assisted by figma and flipbooks for the material of writing argumentative texts.

Abstract

Learning to write negotiation texts is an essential skill that students must master. This research aims to develop an e-module for writing negotiation texts through flipbook media based on contextual learning and to evaluate its effectiveness on students' learning interest and outcomes in class XI of high school. The research method used is Research and Development (RnD). The sample consists of 72 students divided into two classes: an experimental class using the e-module and a control class employing conventional teaching methods. The analysis technique applied in this study refers to the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). This approach ensures that each phase of the module development is conducted systematically and planned. The results of hypothesis testing indicate that the e-module for writing negotiation texts assisted by flipbook media significantly improves students' interest and learning outcomes. The average learning outcomes of students in the experimental class show much higher scores compared to the control class. The discussion reveals that the developed e-module is not only effective in enhancing students' writing skills but also successfully boosts their learning interest. Feedback from expert validation and the practicality test results support the sustainability of using the e-module as an innovative learning aid.

Abstract

Topik penelitian ini adalah variasi leksikal di Kecamatan Air Hitam, Kabupaten Sarolangun. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan, menentukan perhitungan persentase menggunakan suatu metode yaitu metode dialektometri dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Pendektan kuantitatif melihat persentase variasi kebahasaan, sedangkan pendekatan kualitatif mendeskripsikan variasi leksikonnya. Dari penghitungan dialektometri jarak kosakata isolek tiga desa menunjukkan bahwa (1) antar isolek desa Lubuk kapayang dan isolek desa Baru dianggap tidak ada perbedaan, (2) antar isolek desa Baru dan isolek desa Semurung dianggap tidak ada perbedaan, dan (3) antar isolek desa Semurung dan isolek desa Lubukkapayang dianggap tidak ada perbedaan. Sementara itu, variasi leksikon dalam isolek tiga desa di Kecamatan Air Hitam tersebut dari 200 glos terdapat 38 glos yang bervariasi. Sedangkan jarak kosakata dari tiga TP tersebut adalah ILK – IB 13%, IB – IS 12,5%, dan IS – ILK 12% dengan keterangan tidak ada perbedaan. Abstract The topic of this research is lexical variation from three villages in Air Hitam District, Sarolangun Regency. This study aims to describe, determine the percentage calculation using a method that is the dialectometric method with quantitative and qualitative approaches. The quantitative approach looks at the percentage of linguistic variation, while the qualitative approach describes the variation of the lexicon. The dialectometry calculation of the vocabulary distance of the three villages isolates shows that (1) between the isolates of the Lubuk kapayang village and the isolates of the Baru village there is no difference, (2) between the isolates of the Baru village and the isolation of the Semurung village there is no difference, and (3) between the isolates of the village Semurung and isolek of Lubuk Kapayang village were considered as no difference. Meanwhile, the variation of the lexicon in the isolates of the three villages in the Air Hitam Subdistrict, out of 200 glosses, there were 38 variations. While the vocabulary distance of the three TPs is ILK-IB 13%, IB-IS 12.5%, and IS-ILK 12% with the description there is no difference.

Abstract

Penelitian berjudul Tindak Tutur Ekspresif Denny Siregar pada Kanal Youtube 2045TV ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk dan fungsi tindak tutur ekspresif dalam narasi Denny Siregar dalam pada kanal youtube 2045TV. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Data dalam penelitian ini yaitu bentuk dan fungsi tindak tutur ekspresif Denny Siregar pada 5 video yang berkaitan dengan  pemilihan presiden 2024, sedangkan sumber data pada penelitian ini adalah acara GASPOL Denny Siregar pada kanal youtube 2045TV. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat empat bentuk tindak tutur ekspresif dalam konten video Denny Siregar di antaranya, bentuk tindak tutur langsung literal, langsung tidak literal, tidak langsung literal, dan tidak langsung tidak literal, dengat temuan paling banyak yaitu tindak tutur tidak langsung literal. Adapun fungsi tindak tutur ekspresif yang ditemukan meliputi salam, pujian, mengkritik, sindiran, ketegasan, ketidakpuasan, dan keraguan dengan fungsi tindak tutur ekspresif paling banyak ditemukan yaitu fungsi tindak tutur ekspresif sindiran.

Abstract

This research is a type of qualitative descriptive research entitled Expressive Speech Acts in Andung-Andung Batak Toba. This study describes the form and function of expressive speech acts in andung-andung speech. The data of this study are language units in the form of words, phrases, clauses or sentences of andung-andung in 9 YouTube channels and 7 amateur videos. The data sources of this study are YouTube channels and amateur videos. Based on the research findings, it is known that there are 2 forms of speech acts, namely direct literal speech acts and direct non-literal speech acts. The functions of expressive speech acts are six, namely (1) thank you, (2) congratulate, (3) hope, (4) apologize, (5) praise, (6) expression. Speech act data based on the forms that have been found, the most dominant direct literal speech act because this andung-andung tradition is spoken by the speaker to the speech partner directly using language that has meaning according to its true meaning (literal meaning). Expressive speech act data based on its functions that have been found, the most dominant expressive function of expressing sadness among other expressive functions. The function of expressing sadness becomes the dominant expressive function because andung-andung is a speech that contains lamentations and sentences that express a person's sadness.

Abstract

This paper describes and analyzes the language politeness among students of SMP Negeri 2 Kelayang Kelayang District in Indragiri Hulu Regency. It is qualitative research using an analytical descriptive method, namely analyzing and exposing data found in the form of words. Data analysis techniques begin with data reduction, presentation, and making conclusions and verification of the data. The data collection techniques carried out are recording, listening, and taking notes techniques. The source of the research data is inter-student speech. Based on the research results, it was found that the forms of language politeness compliance were the obedience of the maxim of wisdom, the obedience of the generosity maxim, the obedience of the praise maxim, the obedience of the humility maxim, the obedience of the agreement maxim, and the obedience of sympathy maxim. In addition to the obedience of language politeness, violations of language politeness were also found, namely violations of the maxim of wisdom, violations of the generosity maxim, violations of the praise maxim, violations of the humility maxim, violations of the agreement maxim, and violations of the sympathy maxim. The dominant maxim is the violation of the maxim of praise. In addition to the violation of the praise maxim, a dominant maxim refers to obedience to the generosity maxim.

Abstract

Pembelajaran berdiferensiasi merupakan elemen kunci dalam Kurikulum Merdeka, namun banyak guru masih kesulitan dalam mengimplementasikannya karena keterbatasan pemanfaatan teknologi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan guru dalam menggunakan Classpoint sebagai media pembelajaran interaktif yang mendukung pembelajaran berdiferensiasi. Metode yang digunakan adalah pelatihan berbasis workshop yang melibatkan 25 guru SMPN 21 Dumai, yang dilaksanakan selama tiga hari dengan pendekatan sinkron dan asinkron. Evaluasi keberhasilan pelatihan dilakukan melalui pre-test, post-test, dan observasi keterampilan pengembangan media pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 44% peserta mencapai kategori sangat baik, 48% berada dalam kategori baik, dan 8% masuk kategori kurang dalam pemanfaatan Classpoint. Skor rata-rata keseluruhan adalah 85,3%, yang menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dibandingkan sebelum pelatihan. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa pelatihan berbasis teknologi efektif dalam meningkatkan kapasitas guru untuk mengimplementasikan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu menjelaskan desain, kualitas, dan respons pengguna serta menghasilkan bahan ajar pandang dengar bermuatan budaya Melayu Riau aspek keterampilan menulis untuk BIPA tingkat pemula. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development/R&D) karena sesuai dengan tujuan penelitian ini. Data dalam penelitian ini didapatkan dari hasil angket kebutuhan, penilaian validator ahli materi, bahasa, media, dan budaya, hasil repsons pengguna (pembelajar dan pemelajar) BIPA dan nilai hasil uji pretest dan posstest. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa internasional angkatan 2023 yang berasal dari Patani Selatan Thailand dan melanjutkan Pendidikan di Pekanbaru sebanyak 14 orang. Berdasarkan nilai dari validator dan respons pengguna dengan rata-rata 4,6 menandakan bahan ajar pandang dengar yang dikembangkan sangat layak digunakan dan efektif untuk pembelajaran BIPA tingkat pemula. Secara keseluruhan bahan ajar pandang dengar BIPA yang dikembangkan dapat memenuhi kebutuhan pemelajar dan sangat baik untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis pemelajar BIPA tingkat pemula dan menambah wawasan pemelejar BIPA tentang kebudyaan Melayu Riau.
