Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan kajian sastra bandingan yang membandingkan antara satu karya sastra dengan karya sastra lain. Penelitian bertujuan untuk membandingkan dialog tokoh novel Tenggelamnya Kapal Van Der Wijck yang diangkat menjadi sebuah film dengan judul yang sama. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Data penelitian ini adalah dialog tokoh yang ada pada novel dan film Tenggelamnya Kapal Van Der Wijck. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah novel Tenggelamnya Kapal Van Der Wijck dengan jumlah halaman 223 dan film Tenggelamnya Kapal Van Der Wijck yang berdurasi 2 jam 35 menit. Metode pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah simak dan catat. Hasil penelitian ini adalah ditemukan perbandingan dialog tokoh pada novel dengan film berupa persamaan dan perbedaan. Perbedaan ini meliputi penambahan, penciutan, dan perubahan bervariasi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan semantik inkuistif yang masih jarang digunakan di Indonesia. Semantik inkuistif merupakan  kajian yang  berusaha menggali peribahasa sebagai objeknya lebih mendalam untuk mengetahui mengapa dan bagaimana suatu objek dapat dijadikan metafora dalam peribahasa tersebut. Data dalam penelitian ini merupakan peribahasa Melayu berobjek batu yang diperoleh dari Pusat Rujukan Persuratan Melayu (PRPM). Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan teknik catat. Proses analisis data melewati tiga tahap yakni reduksi data, penyajian data, dan simpulan. Hasil yang diperoleh yakni batu digunakan sebagai perumpamaan dalam peribahasa Melayu karena karena karakteristiknya yang sederhana, tidak berharga, dan berat.

Abstract

A proverb is one of figurative languages delivered from generation to generation aimed to be a guide in living life. Thus, people can learn many lessons through it. In Malay language, there are quite a lot of proverbs that have natural elements such as water, fire, earth, and wind/air in them. Unfortunately, learning about Malay proverbs in schools has not been able to restore the existence of Malay proverbs among young people. This study aims to introduce a different way of studying Malay proverbs, especially those with natural elements, namely by looking for the meaning and reason behind the choice of words in the proverb. By using the method of inquisitive semantics analysis in analyzing the data collected, this study was able to find four elements of nature in Malay proverbs namely the elements of water, fire, earth, and wind/air. Specifically, this study found a total of 8 proverbs with the element of water, 4 proverbs with the element of fire, 4 proverbs with the element of earth, and 4 proverbs with the element of wind/air. This study found the fact that Malay Society is indeed very close to nature as proven by the many natural elements found in Malay proverbs. In these proverbs, many things can be learned, for example, culture, history, and also the mindset of the Malay Society itself.

Abstract

When writing news, changes in meaning influence the variety of language used by journalists, namely the presence of new vocabulary and adapting words to the context. The aim of this research is to describe the types and factors that influence changes in meaning in the latest news on Liputan6.com. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The results of the research found 5 types of meaning changes, the dominant of which was widespread meaning change and 8 dominant factors of meaning change were term development. The five changes in meaning, namely (1) broadened meaning, (2) narrowed meaning, (3) refined meaning (eufemia), (4) coarsened meaning (dysphemia), and (5) total change meaning. Factors that influence changes in meaning are (1) developments in science and technology, (2) social and cultural developments, (3) differences in fields of use, (4) the existence of associations, (5) exchange of sensory responses, (6) differences in responses , (7) grammatical processes, and (8) term development. Abstract

Writing skills are productive skills and the highest skill in acquiring language because writing skills are acquired after listening, speaking and reading skills. Writing is an activity to train students' thinking skills to be more creative, productive, and expressive. This research aims to determine the feasibility of teaching materials for writing short stories based on Batimang local wisdom for class XI SMA students and to find out the results of writing short stories based on Batimang local wisdom for class This development research uses qualitative data analysis techniques and quantitative data analysis techniques. Qualitative data analysis is used to analyze data obtained during interviews and written notes in the form of suggestions, input and comments obtained in questionnaires during the feasibility test. Researchers identified the need for teaching materials for writing short stories for class XI high school students in Kampar Regency. The development of teaching materials is carried out based on aspects of the needs of students and teachers. Teaching materials that have been validated by experts in the fields of appropriateness of material and language, and media experts that have been revised are then tested in the classroom. Next, based on the responses of students and teachers, they are analyzed and conclusions are drawn. Teaching materials for writing short stories based on local Riau wisdom "Batimang" can improve student learning outcomes. This can be seen from the field trial data with an average score of 58.67 in the pretest and 76.84 in the posttest. Student learning outcomes for short story writing material increased and achieved good category scores.

Abstract

Disfemisme merupakan usaha penutur dan petutur untuk mengubah atau mengganti tuturan yang bermakna halus atau biasa menjadi kasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk dan fungsi disfemisme dalam konten youtube Nikita Mirzani. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah bersifat deskriptif kualitatif. Data penelitian diperoleh dari tayangan yang ditampilkan dalam akun youtube “Crazy Nikmir Real”. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yakni simak-catat. Teknik analisis data penelitian ini yakni terdiri dari reduksi data, penyajian data, dan simpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa disfemisme yang terdapat dalam konten youtube Nikita Mirzani ditemukan sebanyak 100 data dengan klasifikasi bentuk disfemisme yang terdiri dari kata, frasa, dan klausa. Kemudian fungsi disfemisme diantaranya sebagai sarana membicarakan teman bicara, menunjukkan ketidaksepakatan, menghina seseorang, membicarakan sesuatu yang dipandang rendah, menggunakan istilah tabu, perbandingan manusia dengan hewan, memberi julukan atau sapaan dari karakter fisik, menggunakan istilah abnormalitas mental, ejekan kata-kata rasis, dan menunjukkan rasa tidak hormat pada karakter yang dituju

Abstract

This research is motivated by the problem of the lack of availability of teaching materials. The main teaching materials used by students are student worksheets, while the supporting teaching materials are school textbooks. This research is a research and development using the Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate approach. The purpose of this study is to produce and describe the development of a learning module for poster texts containing Riau Malay culture. Based on the research and development conducted, it is known that the analysis of the needs of the learning module for poster texts containing Riau Malay culture is categorized as very much needed. Furthermore, based on the high level of need, a product design and development in the form of a module was prepared. Overall, the validation results of the learning module for poster texts containing Riau Malay culture are categorized as very good and can be tested. The pretest and posttest values obtained from the results of the trial were then tested to determine the significance of product use. Based on the tests carried out, significant differences were obtained. Furthermore, at the evaluation stage, it was carried out based on assessments from expert validators, assessments of Indonesian language teachers, and student assessments. Overall, the assessments from the three aspects were categorized as very good. Thus, the learning module for poster texts containing Riau Malay culture that was developed is suitable for use in learning poster texts. Abstrak Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan kurangnya ketersediaan bahan ajar. Bahan ajar utama yang digunakan oleh siswa adalah lembar kerja siswa, sedangkan bahan ajar pendukungnya ialah buku paket sekolah. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan dengan menggunakan pendekatan Analyse, Design, Develop, Implement, dan Evaluate. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk menghasilkan dan mendeskripsikan pengembangan modul pembelajaran teks poster bermuatan budaya Melayu Riau. Berdasarkan penelitian dan pengembangan yang dilakukan, diketahui analisis kebutuhan modul pembelajaran teks poster bermuatan budaya Melayu Riau berkategori sangat butuh. Selanjutnya, berdasarkan tingginya tingkat kebutuhan tersebut, disusunlah sebuah rancangan dan pengembangan produk berupa modul. Secara keseluruhan hasil validasi modul pembelajaran teks poster bermuatan budaya Melayu Riau berkategori sangat baik dan dapat dilakukan uji coba. Nilai pretest dan posttest yang didapatkan dari hasil uji coba selanjutnya diuji untuk mengetahui signifikansi penggunaan produk. Berdasarkan uji yang dilakukan didapatkan perbedaan yang signifikan. Selanjutnya pada tahapan evaluasi, dilakukan berdasarkan penilaian dari para validator ahli, respons pengguna (guru dan siswa). Secara keseluruhan penilaian dari tiga aspek tersebut berkategori sangat baik. Dengan demikian modul pembelajaran teks poster bermuatan budaya Melayu Riau yang dikembangkan layak untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran teks poster.

Abstract

Background: Kompetensi guru dalam mengintegrasikan kearifan lokal pada materi pembelajaran berbasis PPT penting dilakukan. Kombinasi antara teknologi dan kearifan lokal menciptakan pengalaman pembelajaran yang lebih menarik dan bermakna bagi siswa. Tujuan pelatihan mengembangkan kompetensi guru dalam menyusun materi pembelajaran berbasis PPT bermuatan lokal. Metode: Penelitian ini dengan metode kuantitatif deskriptif. Pelatihan berfokus kepada guru-guru SMA sederajat dengan jumlah 9 orang di Desa Kepala Pulau, Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi Provinsi Riau. Penetapan sampel dengan pendekatan purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan kuesioner. Teknis analisis data dengan statistik deskriptif. Pelatihan ini dikatakan berhasil jika 75% aktivitas dan tujuan yang diharapkan tercapai. Hasil: Hasil pelatihan ini menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi awal guru sangat beragaram. Pelatihan yang diberikan memberikan dampak positif terhadap kemajuan kompetensi guru dalam menyusun materi berbasis PPT dengan rata-rata 91,67 berkategori tinggi. Kesimpulan: Kompetensi guru dalam menggunakan PPT sangat penting salam konteks menyusun materi berbasis kearifan lokal. Latihan yang intensif membantu guru menguasai teknis penggunaan PPT dan kearifan lokal sebagai bagian dari proses pembelajaran yang kontekstual.

Abstract

This article discusses the violation implicature of cooperativeprinciple of discourse on corruption of Indonesia Lawyers Club. The appliedtheories are: (1) Searle’s speech acts (1969); (2) Austin’s Locutionary,Illocutionary, and Perlocutionary (1962); (3) Grice’s conversationalimplicatures and cooperative principles (in Leech,1993); (4) Levinson’spragmatics and semantic deviation  (1983), Parker’s pragmatics (in Rahardi,2005;48); (5) Spencer and Wilson’s relevance theory (in Rahardi, 2010).Data were gathered by means of listening and recording. The speeches wereanalyzed by employing the maxim violation and implicatures theories. Theviolation of cooperative principle implies (1) the speakers fully comprehendthe speech, (2) Government has insufficient budget to pay the judges ofregional anti-corruption court, (3) Government seems skeptical about theregional judge selection test, (4) The speakers are fully confident that theyposses capability of eradicating corruption, (5) Both payment and allowanceof the regional judge of anti-corruption court do not receive scholarlyattention that have made difficult for them to work as  law enforcers and asjustice enforcers, (6) Some negative effects emerged by virtue of the poorplanning of the establishment of the regional court, (7) The anti-corruptioncourt lost dignity; The role of Judicial commission is not effective inproviding guidances to the judges, (9) All elements have committedcorruption like termites keep encircling nation, (10) issues on corruption arenot seriously discussed (11) regional elections indirectly trigger corruption.

Abstract

This study aims to develop teaching materials for writing observation report texts based on technology by utilizing the Powtoon application for class X SMA students. This study uses a development procedure called the ADDIE model. This study was conducted at SMA Negeri 15 Pekanbaru with 36 class XB students as research subjects. The data collection techniques used were student needs analysis questionnaires, validation questionnaires for teaching material products by validators, trials (limited tests), and teacher and student assessment questionnaires. The results showed that the quality of the product development of teaching materials for writing observation report texts based on Powtoon for class X SMA students was seen from the results of expert validation and got a score of 4.5 (90%), the practicality of the product was seen from the results of teacher assessments of 4.6 (92%) and student assessments of 4.5 (90%). The average pre-test score was 64, and the post-test was 87, which was stated to be significantly different based on the Wilcoxon test. It can be concluded that teaching materials designed using Powtoon for class X SMA students are very feasible and have the potential to be used in learning to write observation report texts.
