Abstract

The Indonesian government has implemented the Character Education Strengthening (PPK) Program at SMA Negeri 1 Tuban to measure students' soft skill abilities and address declining morality. The program aims to provide character education as a foundation for students before higher education or entering society. The research examines character education at SMA Negeri 1 Tuban using an empirical legal research method, comparing real phenomena with existing theories. The study employs a qualitative approach, analyzing the implementation of the PPK program and legal protection for teachers. Secondary data, including student data, the learning curriculum, and relevant legal sources, were collected through literature studies. The research reveals that SMA Negeri 1 Tuban has integrated character education into the curriculum and student affairs. However, there is a need for improved legal protection for teachers in implementing character education. Despite existing laws, disciplinary processes against students have resulted in legal cases involving teachers. It is suggested that more specific laws be established to protect teachers in every curriculum program. When disciplining students, teachers should consider the limits to avoid worsening the impact on students. By doing so, the learning process can be enhanced to achieve better results.

Abstract

Background. A notary is a public official authorized to make deeds regarding actions, agreements, and decisions required by general legislation, or to express the wishes of parties involved. This research aims (a) to determine and analyze the authority of notaries in making PPJB for houses followed by debt recognition. (b) to analyze the validity of the PPBJ made by a notary for the purposes of debt recognition. Research Method. The type of research used is normative juridical, using a statutory approach. This research uses three types of legal materials, namely primary legal materials, secondary legal materials and tertiary legal materials. The process of analyzing legal materials in this research uses the interpretation method. Findings. The results of the research show that (a) The notary executes the original deed, considering all required deeds, agreements, and provisions. They have the right to keep a certificate. If contested, the Department of Security has a regulatory role regarding the sale and purchase contract. (b) PPJB is a debt recognition form made in an authentic deed, which should be disclosed to the public for completeness. However, the deed's validity may be canceled due to legal cover-up, potentially resulting in a default case, depending on the judge's decision. Conclusion. Notaries must act honestly and impartially to make authentic deeds, providing counseling before executing the Sales and Purchase Agreement (PPJB) for debt recognition purposes, as the deed's validity may be canceled if it doesn't comply with the law.

The type of research used is a normative juridical approach to answer existing research problems, using legal principles, statutory regulatory materials, and theoretical frameworks. The analysis of library materials and secondary data to gain a comprehensive understanding of the subject matter. Findings. The results showed (a) the procedure of carrying out an object of fiduciary guarantee requires submitting an execution request to the District Court. This court functions as an intermediary, granting permission for execution to aggrieved creditors. If the agreement itself has the power of execution, then the fiduciary guarantee can be executed immediately (b) The recent Constitutional Court decision Number 18/PUU-XVII/2019, states that every person has the right to recognition, guarantees, protection, fair legal certainty and equal treatment before the law. This law functions to enforce human rights contained in the 1945 Constitution, guaranteeing justice and protection all society. Conclusion. Constitutional Court decision No. 18/PUU-XVII/2019 raises various problems that are not in line with the provisions of Law No. 42 of 1999 concerning Fiduciary Guarantee. Following this decision, banks as creditors no longer carry out executions unilaterally. If the debtor is in default and has created injustice and ambiguity for creditors by eliminating the authority.

Abstract

ABSTRACTIn this paper, we present a novel feedforward control strategy presented for the control of flow-induced vibration of a tube cylinder supported by a transversely mounted elastic cantilever beam. The control strategy aims to limit the movement of the tube cylinder which is supported by elastic cantilever beams, to prevent optimal vibration which will result in a nonlinear system. The feedforward control system uses a combination of multiresolution wavelets and the Filtered-x least mean square (FxLMS) control algorithm. To verify the control feasibility of the proposed algorithm, a numerical effort using Van der Pol equation and the results of implementing it in the experiment was carried out to reveal the response vibrations that occur over time. It was found that the effectiveness of the wavelet-FxLMS algorithm as a nonlinear active vibration control strategy has been successfully demonstrated both experimentally and theoretically under a Van der Pol wake oscillator. Keywords: adaptive control, control theory, control systems, vibration control, nonlinear control systems.

Abstract

Wind power plants that are developing at this time still have relatively little power, this is because the existing turbines still have low efficiency. Therefore, in this final project a propeller turbine blade which was originally with a flat blade will be developed by adding variations in the number of blades and adding winglets to the blade tip. This study aims to simulate the CFD to determine the relationship of wind flow velocity, winglet on the blade and the effect of the number of blades on the performance of the turbine and compare the results of the simulation with the results of trials on the wind tunnel. The analysis process uses the CFD method using ANSYS CFX 15.0. n this case the researchers made a turbine with 3 variations, namely: 3 blade variation, 4 blade variation and 5 blade variation. Giving variations in the number of blades affect the performance of the turbine. From these three variations, this study obtained the greatest power of 4.0794 watts on a variation of 5 blades as evidenced by an increase in graph trends in the amount of power vs. the number of blades from variation 1, variation 2 and variation 3 with the same rpm is 636 rpm. From the results of the best design then made a prototype then carried out trials on the wind tunnel in the UMB Mechanical Engineering laboratory. Subsequent trial results will be compared with simulation results based on the same speed and rpm parameters. The research that has been carried out gets greater simulation results compared to the power of the trial results, but the results of the simulation and trials have the same trend that the higher the wind speed, the greater the power generated by the turbine. The simulation results produce the greatest power of 4.001 watts with wind speed of 5.0m / s and a rotating speed of 627 rpm while experiment have power about 1,224 watts with a wind speed of 5.0m / s and a rotating speed of 627 rpm
