Abstract

AbstractThe aim of the study is to determine the model of traffic settlement through a system of criminal law enforcement or mediation as the criteria used when the system through the enforcement of the criminal law or mediation. Judging from the type of sociological research, including research to take place in the Central Java Police Region. The data used in the primary and secondary. As research material is in the police traffic unit and Central Java Police docket of traffic accidents in the Traffic Unit Police Central Java. The results showed that the Central Java Police region in resolving cases of traffic accidents that result in death, serious injury, minor injuries or material losses using models of settlement through legal means, never use mediation. Cases of traffic accidents that resulted in death investigation report regular use, while resulting in serious injury, loss of light and material used rapid investigation report.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the forms of legal protection to women with disabilities as victims of sexual violence on the CIQAL Foundation and to know obstacles that occur in the legal protection process. This research is an empirical law research that is both descriptive by qualitative approaches. Location of the research at the CIQAL Foundation Yogyakarta.Based on the results of the research, it is got the data since 2014 until 2016, CIQAL has noted there were seventy six of violence cases against women with disabilities in Yogyakarta region and sixty cases there are sexual violence. From the sixty cases of sexual violence only three cases have got judicial process. Not processing of legal, cause of the victims can not get the justice and their rights as the victims and also the perpetrators of violence have potential to do the violence again. The matter CIQAL efforts to give the legal protection to women with disabilities as victims of sexual violence get their rights. The legal protection is given the legal colleague and non the colleague by the CIQAL Foundation Yogyakarta. There are some obstacles when the foundation gives doing the legal protection process. The obstacles which are divided by two, internal victims factors that includes the limitation which owned the victims, and the victims family; external victims factors that includes the problem in the legal scope, and the society.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to experimentally investigate the performance of an electromagnetic energy harvester driven by flow-induced vibration (FIV) under airflow conditions representative of building ventilation systems. A cylindrical oscillator integrated with a magnet–coil transduction mechanism was tested in a wind tunnel at airflow velocities of 0.5 m/s, 2 m/s, and 4 m/s. Vibration responses were measured using an FFT analyzer, while the electrical output was recorded using a digital oscilloscope and processed to obtain RMS voltage and average power. The results show that the harvested power at 2 m/s is approximately four times that obtained at 0.5 m/s, indicating optimal performance within the lock-in region, where the vortex-shedding frequency approaches the structure's natural frequency. Although higher airflow velocity increases the vibration amplitude, the average harvested power at 4 m/s decreases due to partial detuning and increased damping. These findings demonstrate that moderate airflow velocities provide optimal operating conditions for electromagnetic energy harvesting and highlight the feasibility of integrating airflow-based vibration energy harvesters into building systems to power low-energy devices.

Abstract

This study examines the criminal offense of hoarding subsidized fuel oil (BBM) in Indonesia. The background of the study is the recurring misuse of subsidized fuel distribution by irresponsible actors who stockpile fuel to obtain personal profit. Such practices create supply scarcity, trigger price increases, harm lower-middle-income communities, and disturb national economic stability. This research uses an empirical legal method that focuses on the identification of living law and the effectiveness of legal rules in society. The approach studies how legal norms are implemented in practice through objectively obtained facts, including public opinions, attitudes, and legal behavior. The findings show that sanctions for hoarding subsidized fuel are regulated mainly in Law Number 22 of 2001 concerning Oil and Gas, especially Articles 51 and 55, as amended by later regulations. Article 55 provides imprisonment of up to six years and a maximum fine of IDR 60,000,000,000 for misuse of the transportation and/or trading of government-subsidized fuel. Economic motives, weak distribution oversight, regulatory gaps, and price-increase momentum are key factors enabling this offense.
