Abstract

The research aims to analyze the following aspects: (1) parental attachment, (2) self-concept, (3) self-confidence, and (4) the relationship between parental attachment and self-concept with the self-confidence of children who memorize the Qur'an. The research utilizes a quantitative approach with a descriptive correlational design. The study population consists of 121 individuals, and a sample of 94 participants was selected using the Slovin formula and proportional random sampling technique. The research instrument employed a Likert Scale questionnaire, and data were analyzed using descriptive correlational and multiple regression analysis. The research findings reveal that (1) children who memorize the Qur'an exhibit a significantly high level of parental attachment, (2) their self-concept falls within the moderate category, (3) their self-confidence is also at a moderate level, and (4) there is a significant relationship between parental attachment and self-concept with the self-confidence of children who memorize the Qur'an. Therefore, it can be concluded that there exists a positive and significant association between parental attachment and self-concept with the self-confidence of children who memorize the Qur'an.

Abstract

Motivasi belajar adalah suatu keadaan yang terdapat pada diri seorang individu untuk memulai suatu kegiatan atau aktivitas belajar atas kemauannya sendiri atau minat individu dalam menyelesaikan tugas tepat waktu, sehingga tujuan yang dikehendaki oleh individu tersebut dapat tercapai. Fenomena yang terjadi di lapangan terdapat siswa mengatakan bahwa kurang memahami materi pelajaran serta tidak dapat berkonsentrasi dengan baik ketika belajar di rumah melalui pembelajaran daring, sehingga siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam belajar yang membuat siswa jadi tidak bersemangat, hal itu membuat siswa jadi kurang termotivasi dalam belajar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas X dan XI di SMAN 1 Gunung Talang sebanyak 774 siswa dengan sampel penelitian sebanyak 264 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara proportional random sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan angket motivasi belajar, dengan model skala likert. Data diolah dengan teknik analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan motivasi belajar siswa berada pada kategori cukup tinggi terlihat sudah adanya siswa yang memiliki kenginan untuk berhasil dalam belajar.Kata Kunci: Motivasi Belajar, Pembelajaran Daring.

Abstract

Self Disclosure is one of the social skills that must be possessed, especially for overseas students. These social skills will give birth to social interactions that will create good psychosocial conditions in social relationships. This study aims to describe the level of self-disclosure of overseas students in the Guidance and Counseling study program at the Bukittinggi State Islamic University. This type of research includes a quantitative descriptive research instrument, namely the self-disclosure scale. The population in the study were guidance and counseling students from outside West Sumatra, totaling 43 people. Sampling was taken using a non-probability sampling technique with a purposive sampling technique. The results of the study revealed that the self-disclosure level of overseas students at Bukittinggi State Islamic University was in the moderate category with 65.11% while the highest self-disclosure aspect was in the aspect of cultural perception. Research findings based on gender reveal that female students are more open than male students, namely in the aspects of perception of culture, perception of gender, perception of listeners, and perception of topics while men are more open in aspects of self-knowledge.

Abstract

This study underscores the critical need for mental health intervention among commercial sex workers undergoing rehabilitation, focusing on gender issues, particularly women choosing alternative paths in this field. The psychological challenges linked to their identity as female sex workers require the identification and enhancement of their self-concept. The research evaluates the effectiveness of the Solution-focused Brief Counseling (SFBC) approach in fortifying the self-concept of women involved in commercial sex work through group counseling services. Conducted at the Andam Dewi rehabilitation center in Solok with 21 female participants, the study adopts a quasi-experimental design. Results affirm the efficacy of SFBC, highlighting its potential to improve women’s self-concept in this specific context. This study contributes to an underexplored domain, urging counselors at rehabilitation centers to embrace group counseling services and SFBC to enhance the self-concept of women engaged in commercial sex work.

Abstract

Primary education lays the foundation for students' social, family and academic environments, creating key moments in the development of a child's personality. Primary education also promotes positive morals and develops students' skills. They quickly develop developmental traits, needs and functions. Activities that support learning in primary schools include creating a healthy learning environment. Teachers who have extensive subject matter knowledge to see and understand students should contribute to creating a healthy learning environment. The teacher in question is also called a guidance and counseling teacher, or school counselor. School counselors and mentors are essential as they help students grow throughout their lives.

Abstract

Elementary school is a formal educational institution for children that aims to produce optimal development in each individual according to their abilities or potential. In realizing its goals, therefore, it is necessary to have integration by all aspects contained in the world of education and one of them is counseling guidance. The method in this research is a literature study is a research that collects a number of literature in the form of books, journals or magazines related to counseling guidance in elementary schools. Teachers who handle problems for students are class teachers and do not have a specific program in counseling guidance services.

Abstract

Facilities and infrastructure at that time hampered the implementation of the teaching process or counseling guidelines. Without any infrastructure at all, the implementation of recommendation guidelines would be more difficult and the goals to be achieved would not be in accordance with expectations. Without adequate infrastructure in educational institutions, it is difficult for school counseling staff to work together in practicing school counseling. Therefore, to implement school counseling, infrastructure and facilities must be used. The purpose of this study was to determine the analysis of facilities and infrastructure and their solutions to guidance and counseling problems in schools. The method in this study is a literature review or literature review. The results of this study are the importance of guidance and counseling facilities and infrastructure, the importance of adequate facilities in organizing public services, especially in the field of education. Facilities, as goods or movable objects, and infrastructure, as basic facilities, ensure the smooth running of guidance and counseling activities in schools.

Abstract

This research aims to discuss the importance of procuring infrastructure in guidance and counseling to support the successful implementation of guidance and counseling services to ensure the implementation of these services in a cost-effective and efficient manner. This research uses a literature review method that collects various information about guidance and counseling infrastructure facilities from various books, journals and websites as research sources. Infrastructure facilities are needed in the implementation of guidance and counseling services in schools. Because with the infrastructure, counselors can collect data on student needs, process data properly, develop programs according to student needs, store data safely, and carry out services according to student needs obtained from data that has been processed and conduct follow-up on the results of these services, students will feel comfortable and confident when they decide to attend counseling sessions or even just join guidance and counseling groups when there is a comprehensive and well-organized infrastructure.

Abstract

Educational management is the art and science of managing educational resources to create a learning atmosphere and learning process so that students actively develop their potential to have spiritual religious strength, self-control, personality, intelligence, noble character and skills needed by themselves, society, nation and state. Management needs are certainly inseparable from the basic concept of management in general, especially management functions, because leaders or managers must go through a series of events, Management functions include: Planning, Organizing, Staffing, Monitoring, Controlling. in order to carry out BK services as optimally as possible, in addition to forming and managing the organization well and assigning personnel according to their respective abilities, several facilities and infrastructure or facilities are needed to support the implementation of correct and effective BK services. The purpose of this study was to determine the Concept of Problem Management and Solutions in Guidance and Counseling. Research method, namely This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with a case study research type. Qualitative methods are used to understand the meaning of social or humanitarian problems that are considered important by a group of people. The results of this study are that the management of BK teachers or counselors in schools has an important role in increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of BK services. Through the implementation of proper management, BK teachers can facilitate an active, creative, innovative, and enjoyable learning process for students.
