Abstract

The development of digital technology requires teachers to be able to integrate artificial intelligence into learning. Not all teachers understand the creation of AI-based teaching materials, considering that not all teachers understand and comprehend the methods and mechanisms of using artificial intelligence to assist in learning, especially in creating digital teaching materials. Teacher competencies must be continuously upgraded so they can innovate in learning, considering that the management of learning programs will experience changes along with the development of community culture and technology. Mentoring groups of prospective teachers in creating AI-based teaching materials aims to provide mentoring to groups of prospective teachers in designing and developing AI-based teaching materials as an effort to improve professional competence in the digital era. The methods used in this activity include training, technical guidance, and direct practice with a participatory approach. The results of the activity show an increase in participants' understanding of the concept of AI in education, the ability to design AI-based digital teaching materials, and the growth of creativity and innovation in designing learning that is adaptive to the needs of 21st-century learning.

The industrial revolution 4.0 that occurred in the 21st century has brought about the needs and challenges of life that are different from the previous century. Changes that occur so quickly and are full of disruption due to the development of information technology require mastery of skills relevant to the needs of the 21st century. One of the skills needed is critical thinking skills. An alternative that can be used in developing critical thinking skills is through case-based blended learning. Through case-based blended learning in social science learning, students can improve their critical thinking skills by seeking and finding knowledge through reality and dynamics in real life, social interaction and collaboration.

Abstract

Self-regulated learning (SRL) plays a pivotal role in fostering independent and lifelong learners. It empowers students to take control of their learning processes, enabling them to set goals, monitor their progress, and adapt strategies accordingly. Ubiquitous learning (U-Learning), on the other hand, emphasizes the seamless integration of learning experiences into everyday life through the pervasive presence of technology. This study aims to improve self-regulated learning and increase the learning independence of Universitas Negeri Jakarta students through ubiquitous learning based on the LMS Moodle. This study used a quantitative descriptive method, with the research subjects being 40 students of the social studies education program at Jakarta State University. In addition, Moodle is a powerful tool for implementing ubiquitous learning and improving self-regulated learning practices. By capitalizing on the platform's features and leveraging its potential, educators can create dynamic learning environments that empower students to take ownership of their learning journey. Future research and implementation studies should focus on exploring the effectiveness of Moodle-based ubiquitous learning strategies in diverse educational contexts to further enhance self-regulated learning outcomes.

Abstract

The objective of the research is to analyze the influence of the Project Based Learning model on the social studies learning outcomes of seventh-grade students at SMP Negeri 14 Jakarta. The approach used is quantitative with a quasi-experimental method. The research population includes all seventh-grade students of SMP Negeri 14 Jakarta, consisting of 138 students from a total of four classes. The sample selection was conducted using random sampling, with class VII-A as the experimental class and VII-D as the control class. The data collection instrument was a written test in the form of multiple-choice questions used to measure learning outcomes. Based on the results of descriptive statistics, the average Pre-test score was 71.78 (experiment) and 71.69 (control), while the average Post-test score was 82.58 (experiment) and 73.31 (control). It can be concluded that the average score of the experimental group, which applied the project-based learning model, was higher than the average score of the control group, which only applied the conventional learning method. The results of the data test using the Independent Samples T-test with a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.016 < 0.05 indicate that the decision to reject and accept is based on this. Thus, there is a significant difference between the experimental class and the control class.
