Abstract

Aglaonema plants have become an important element in people's lives, serving as home decorations and sources of income. Aglaonema cultivation is increasingly popular, opening up business opportunities for farmers. This plant is not just a hobby but a horticultural commodity with high economic value. This research aims to analyze the difficulties faced by Aglaonema farmers, from seedling to marketing. This research uses a constructivist paradigm and qualitative methods, involving 20 informants from among farmers, traders, buyers, extension workers, and farmer organizations. Data were collected through interviews, focus group discussions, and observations, with triangulation to validate the information. Data analysis was conducted using the NVivo application. The research results show that the main difficulties faced by Aglaonema farmers include unpredictable price fluctuations, limited varieties, weak communication among farmers, traditional seedling methods, and a lack of information about seed supply. These findings emphasize the need for information sharing between farmers and stakeholders to improve productivity and quality in agribusiness, in line with consumer demands and technological advancements, which can be implemented through a knowledge management system platform in the Aglaonema agribusiness supply chain.

Abstract

The future of project management in the telecommunications industry is not just a distant possibility but a rapidly approaching reality. Driven by unprecedented technological advancements and a complex project environment, this transformation is imminent. This paper explores the development of leadership competencies among project managers in this volatile landscape through a combination of transactional and transformational leadership styles in facing future challenges. Using a scenario planning methodology, the author identifies critical drivers through a PESTLE analysis. The author then employs a 2x2 matrix to categorize environments based on two key uncertainties in the telecommunications industry: project complexity and technological uncertainty. This results in a Telecommunications Project Scenario Matrix, consisting of four future scenarios, namely Stability, Complexity, Innovation, and Disruption Quadrants. These scenarios present distinct challenges and opportunities for project managers, ultimately shaping the leadership competencies required for success in combining transactional and transformational styles. The analysis suggests five leadership development actions. This insight will be valuable for academics and project management practitioners in the telecommunications industry.

Abstract

The aims of this study are to determine the factors that affect the moratorium policy and its effect on the national production of palm oil. This study used an in-depth interviewwithpairwise comparison questionnaire to experts. Data were analyzed using Analytical Network Process (ANP),consisting of three stages (model construction, model quantification, and analysis). The results showed that law enforcement, sustainability, conflict resolution, deforestation and land conversion were factors that influence the success of the moratorium. The various problems in these factors indicate that the moratorium cannot be done optimally. During sixyears of its implementation, the moratorium impactson the sustainability of palm oil production in Indonesia.Evaluation of moratorium is needed by using quantitative data. Forest deforestation due to oil palm plantation can be used to support the policy analysis.

Abstract

Aglaonema farming holds significant economic potential, but challenges in knowledge management often hinder farmers' productivity. Knowledge Management Systems (KMS) provide effective solutions for managing knowledge efficiently. This study aims to conduct a comparative analysis of KMS implementation for aglaonema farmers using a structured method and an object-oriented method with the Unified Modeling Language (UML). The research methodology includes identifying farmers' needs, developing systems using both approaches, conducting functionality testing, and performing a comparative analysis based on effectiveness, efficiency, and ease of use. The study's results indicate that the object-oriented approach with UML offers greater flexibility in development and adaptation to changing user needs. At the same time, the structured method provides stability within a well-defined system. User evaluations reveal a preference for UML-based systems, particularly in supporting dynamic knowledge access and integrating market price prediction features. The study concludes that the object-oriented approach with UML is more suitable for KMS development in agribusiness, where an adaptive and responsive system is essential.

Abstract

Evaluation of e-Government is conducted to improve the efficiency, effectiveness, transparency and accountability of governance and public services. This study aims to evaluate the implementation of e-Government (e-Gov)in XYZ institution. The evaluation is divided into three types, first is analysis of maturity level using e-Gov Ranking Hold Indonesia (PeGI), the second type is evaluation of Information Systems Resources (ISR) with descriptive qualitative method, and the last one is analysis of system quality and information quality based on McLean and DeLone (2003) using analysis of Importance Performance Analysis (IPA). As a result, the overall assessment of PeGI from the five-dimensional measurement is good but it tends to be less threatened either. The dimensions of institutional, infrastructure, and application are categorized as good rank while the dimension of planning and policy are weak rank. Secondly, the evaluation results of ISR including hardware, software, netware, and dataware have good performance but the evaluation results of human resources need to be improved. Furthermore, from the IPA results, the low performance of sistem quality are reliability, accessibility, download time and efficiency and the low performance of information quality are timelines and up-to-date. Accordingly, XYZ institution need to make improvements that focus on information and communication technology (ICT) planning, human resources mapping and improving the quality and quantity in the field of ICT, as well as improving the system quality and the information quality to support the successful implementation of e-Gov in XYZ institution

Abstract

With a very significant increase in the number of capital market investors, an information system is needed that supports investors to invest more easily and transparently. To facilitate this, the Financial Services Authority ("OJK") in 2020 issued Financial Services Authority Regulation number 41/POJK.04/2020 ("POJK 41"). The pricing, ordering and allotment of securities are carried out through an information system called Electronic Indonesia Public Offering ("E-IPO System"). The E-IPO system aims to provide access to all investors in the Public Offering and booking pricing process so as to increase the participation of all investors. In addition, the use of the E-IPO System is expected to increase transparency and efficiency in the IPO process in order to increase investor confidence in the pre-determined price. As a result of this research, the E-IPO System can be categorized as a good system and has a good net benefit for its users, this is reflected in the condition of information quality, system quality and service quality that affect the use and the satisfaction of E-IPO System users. This will directly or indirectly affect the net profit that will be received by users.
