Abstract

This study aims to describe the transformation of the learning process during the implementation of the Independent Curriculum in third-grade students at Cipta Muda Public Elementary School, Buay Madang District, East OKU Regency. The focus of the study includes changes in learning approaches, the roles of teachers and students, and the obstacles and strategies implemented during the curriculum adaptation process. The study used a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that teachers have begun implementing project-based learning and differentiated learning based on student characteristics. The teacher's role has shifted from instructor to learning facilitator, while students become more active and independent. However, the implementation of the Independent Curriculum still faces obstacles, particularly in teacher readiness to develop independent learning modules and limited supporting facilities. This study concludes that the learning transformation towards the Independent Curriculum has progressed progressively, but requires ongoing mentoring, teacher training, and institutional support for optimal implementation. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan transformasi proses pembelajaran dalam implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka di kelas III SD Negeri Cipta Muda, Kecamatan Buay Madang, Kabupaten OKU Timur. Fokus penelitian meliputi perubahan pendekatan pembelajaran, peran guru dan peserta didik, serta kendala dan strategi yang diterapkan selama proses adaptasi kurikulum. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru mulai menerapkan pembelajaran berbasis proyek dan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi sesuai karakteristik peserta didik. Peran guru bergeser dari pengajar menjadi fasilitator pembelajaran, sementara peserta didik lebih aktif dan mandiri. Namun demikian, implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka masih menghadapi kendala, terutama pada kesiapan guru dalam menyusun modul ajar mandiri serta keterbatasan sarana pendukung. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa transformasi pembelajaran menuju Kurikulum Merdeka telah berjalan secara progresif, tetapi memerlukan pendampingan berkelanjutan, pelatihan guru, serta dukungan institusional agar implementasinya optimal.

Abstract

This study investigates the comparative effectiveness of digital and conventional oscilloscopes in physics learning, focusing on the resonance tube practicum as a medium for understanding acoustic wave phenomena. Digital tools such as the Soundcard Oscilloscope have been proposed as innovative and low-cost alternatives to conventional laboratory equipment, addressing resource limitations in many schools. A quantitative quasi-experimental nonequivalent control group design was employed involving two classes of eleventh-grade students. Learning outcomes were measured using validated pre-test and post-test instruments. Data were analyzed through descriptive statistics, Wilcoxon Signed Rank tests for within-group changes, and Mann–Whitney U tests for between-group comparisons due to non-normal data distribution. The experimental group demonstrated significant improvement in learning outcomes (p = 0.003), confirming the effectiveness of the digital tool, while the control group did not (p = 0.094). Although the Mann–Whitney test indicated no significant difference between groups (p = 0.873), N-Gain analysis revealed a notable contrast: a low gain (0.095) in the experimental group versus a decrease (–0.262) in the control group. This research offers novelty by directly comparing digital and conventional oscilloscopes in resonance tube experiments, highlighting the gap between statistical significance and pedagogical effectiveness. The findings demonstrate that the Soundcard Oscilloscope serves as a viable, low-cost alternative that yields greater learning gains than its conventional counterpart. These results underscore the potential of integrating affordable digital laboratory tools with active learning strategies to enhance conceptual understanding, particularly in resource-constrained educational contexts.

Abstract

Cedera kepala merupakan salah satu kasus kegawatdaruratan neurologis yang sering ditemukan di instalasi gawat darurat (IGD) dan dapat menimbulkan gangguan kognitif, termasuk amnesia retrograd. Gangguan ini berkaitan dengan kerusakan struktur otak yang berperan dalam proses memori dan dapat menjadi indikator klinis tingkat keparahan cedera kepala. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan derajat cedera kepala terhadap kejadian amnesia retrograd pada pasien di IGD. Metode: Penelitian menggunakan desain deskriptif korelasional dengan pendekatan cross-sectional yang dilaksanakan di IGD Rumah Sakit dr. M. Yunus Bengkulu tahun 2025. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 37 responden yang dipilih dengan teknik accidental sampling. Derajat cedera kepala diukur menggunakan Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS), sedangkan amnesia retrograd dinilai melalui wawancara menggunakan kuesioner status mental portable. Analisis data dilakukan dengan uji Chi-Square pada taraf signifikansi α = 0,05. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 45,9% responden mengalami amnesia retrograd dan 54,1% tidak mengalaminya. Sebagian besar responden mengalami cedera kepala ringan (56,8%), sedangkan 43,2% mengalami cedera kepala sedang. Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara derajat cedera kepala dan kejadian amnesia retrograd (χ² = 16.763; p = 0.000) dengan kekuatan hubungan kuat (C = 0.588). Pasien dengan cedera kepala sedang memiliki risiko 42 kali lebih tinggi mengalami amnesia retrograd dibandingkan cedera kepala ringan (OR = 42.000). Kesimpulan: Disimpulkan bahwa derajat cedera kepala berhubungan signifikan dengan kejadian amnesia retrograd. Oleh karena itu, pengkajian fungsi memori perlu dilakukan secara sistematis dalam evaluasi neurologis awal di IGD.

Abstract

Bayi prematur adalah bayi yang lahir dengan usia kehamilan kurang dari 37 minggu danberisiko tinggi mengalami ketidakstabilan fisiologis seperti gangguan pengaturan suhu tubuh, ketidakstabilan denyut jantung, pernapasan yang tidak teratur, serta penurunan saturasi oksigen. Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah Untuk mengetahui Pengaruh perawatan metode kanguru terhadap respons fisiologi bayi premature di NICU RSUD Puri Husada Tembilahan tahun 2025. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain pendekatan pra- experimental dengan rancangan one – group pre-post test design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh ibu yang memiliki bayi premature sebanyak 30 bayi, dan sampel penelitian ini di ambil menggunakan sampel Quasi-experiment dengan jumlah 18 bayi BBLR. Analisis data menggunakan uji Wilcoxon. Hasil penelitian ini di dapatkan suhu tubuh bayi premature sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan PMK yaitu dengan nilai p value 0.000 < kecil dari 0,05, denyut jantung bayi prematur sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan PMK yaitu p value 0.000 < kecil dari 0,05, saturasi oksigen bayi premature sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan PMK yaitu p value 0.000 < 0,05. Diharapkan kepada responden agar lebih meningkatkan minat dalam mencari informasi dan menambah pengetahuan baik melalui media elektronik, buku, artikel maupun melalui diskusi dengan petugas kesehatan terdekat mengenai pelaksanaan PMK terhadap respons fisiologi bayi premature.   Premature baby is a baby born with a gestational age of less than 37 weeks and is at high risk of experiencing physiological instability such as difficulty regulating body temperature, heart rate instability, irregular breathing, and decreased oxygen saturation. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of kangaroo care on the physiological responses of premature babies in the NICU at RSUD Puri Husada Tembilahan in 2025. This type of research is quantitative research with a pre-experimental approach using a one-group pre-post test design. The population in this study consists of all mothers who have premature babies, totaling 30 babies, and the study sample was taken using a quasi-experimental sampling method with a total of 18 low birth weight babies. Data analysis was conducted using the Wilcoxon test. The results of this study showed that the body temperature of premature babies before and after PMK was performed had a p-value of 0.000, which is less than 0.05; the heart rate of premature babies before and after PMK had a p-value of 0.000, which is less than 0.05; and the oxygen saturation of premature babies before and after PMK had a p-value of 0.000, which is less than 0.05. It is hoped that respondents will be more proactive in seeking information and increasing their knowledge, whether through electronic media, books, articles, or discussions with nearby healthcare workers regarding the implementation of PMK and its effects on the physiological responses of premature babies.

Abstract

The study aims to identify the forms of students’ learning difficulties and the factors underlying them. This research employed a descriptive qualitative method involving seven sixth-grade students at SDN Tegalharjo, Surakarta. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis, and then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. The results indicate that most students have a good understanding of basic statistical concepts due to the contextual learning approach applied by the teacher; however, the main difficulties arise at the calculation stage, particularly in calculating the mean with decimal results and determining the median due to a lack of accuracy in ordering data. The factors contributing to these difficulties include limited arithmetic skills, low accuracy, and varying levels of learning support from families. Students’ learning motivation is relatively high, especially when the material is linked to real-life experiences and practical activities. These findings emphasize the need to strengthen basic numeracy skills, improve accuracy, and involve the learning environment to enhance elementary school students’ understanding of Statistics. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that improving elementary students’ understanding of Statistics should focus on reinforcing basic numeracy skills, accuracy in calculation processes, and synergy between contextual learning strategies and learning environment support.   Keyword: Mathematics, Elementary School, Statistics.
