Abstract

The implementation of Modern EcoHeat Technology Innovation is designed to overcome the challenges of the non-standardised sea cucumber drying process. This programme is conducted in several stages, namely: Installation of EcoHeat drying technology in the production facilities of partner SMEs, training on the use of technology for employees and students, development of quality SOPs, and improvement of logistics management for more efficient distribution. This activity also includes regular evaluation of production processes and results to ensure improved product quality according to international standards. In addition, a social media campaign was implemented to support product marketing and increase consumer awareness about the benefits and quality of dried sea cucumbers from Bintang Laut SMEs. The results of the programme showed significant improvements in the efficiency of the production process, which enabled Bintang Laut SME Partners to increase production capacity and reduce operational costs. Improved product quality of dried sea cucumbers with more consistency and longer shelf life was also achieved, resulting in a positive response from the market. The programme also successfully enhanced employee skills through technology training and quality SOPs. The programme successfully optimised the production process with the support of modern technology and better implementation of quality SOPs. The programme was able to improve the competitiveness of dried sea cucumber products in the export market and provide opportunities for SMEs to maintain quality and expand markets

Abstract

This research aims to find out the survival strategies of traders in modern traditional markets (Ptm) amidst the rise of online shopping (e-commerce) and to find out survival strategies according to an Islamic perspective. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods for SWOT with primary and secondary data sources. The results obtained from the SWOT analysis show that the position of the modern market in Bengkulu City is strong, so the recommended strategy is the SO strategy, namely utilizing support from the government, maintaining product quality, maintaining good working relationships, costs, low production and expanding the network. Forms of competition that exist in the modern traditional market in Bengkulu City include competition on price, location, service quality and product completeness. And the strategy carried out by the modern traditional market according to an Islamic perspective is in accordance with the marketing management strategy in Islam, namely being honest in explaining goods and promoting goods, being fair in setting prices.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis faktor apa yang paling dominan mempengaruhi efisiensi kerja karyawan pada PT. Petro Fajar Berlian, Medan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada PT. Petro Fajar Berlian yang berlamat di Kompleks Villa Asoka Blok C No. 6, Medan. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Mei 2016. Untuk analisis faktor, ukuran sampel yang direkomendasikan adalah tidak kurang dari 60 responden. Sebagai aturan umum, beberapa peneliti merekomendasikan 5:1, 10:1, dan 20:1 responden untuk setiap variabel. Penelitian ini menggunakan 14 variabel maka yang menjadi sampel penelitian adalah 5 x 14 = 70 orang. Variabel yang akan diteliti adalah faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi efisiensi kerja karyawan yaitu : Kemampuan fisik (X1), Pendidikan dan pelatihan (diklat) (X2), Pengalaman kerja (X3), Kesejahtraan (X4), Syarat kerja (X5), Lingkungan kerja (X6), Waktu jam kerja (X7), Ketaatan (X8), Jadwal pekerjaan (X9), Pengorganisasian (X10), Sarana dan prasarana (X11), Kondisi ruangan kerja (X12), Penghargaan (X13) dan Kepemimpinan (X14). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor yang paling dominan mempengaruhi efisiensi kerja karyawan pada PT. Petro Fajar Berlian, Medan adalah kondisi ruangan kerja dengan nilai korelasi sebesar 0,848. Faktor kedua yang memiliki pengaruh dominan terhadap efisiensi kerja karyawan adalah kesejahteraan karyawan dengan nilai korelasi 0,842. Faktor ketiga yang memiliki pengaruh dominan terhadap efisiensi kerja karyawan adalah kemampuan fisik karyawan dengan nilai korelasi 0,798. Dari hasil pengujian faktor dapat disimpulkan bahwa pada faktor 1 bernilai 0,502; faktor 2 bernilai 0,477, faktor 3 bernilai 0,579, faktor 4 bernilai 0,572 dan faktor 5 bernilai 0,399. Kelima faktor yang terbentuk sudah tepat karena mempunyai nilai korelasi yang cukup tinggi. Dengan demikian, antara faktor cenderung terjadi interkorelasi.

Abstract

In the late twentieth century, he witnessed a significant shift in Islamic discourse in Indonesia, particularly with the rise of egalitarianism and the indigenization of Islam. Against this backdrop, this study investigates KH. Nur Salim's pivotal role in adapting Sufism to a pluralistic society in Malang, East Java. It aims to explore how his down-to-earth approach effectively integrated spiritual values with social life, fostering a form of Sufism that suits the needs of modern society. Using qualitative phenomenological methods, the research captured the lived experiences and perceptions of the community regarding KH Nur Salim in his socio-academic role. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis to understand the phenomenon comprehensively. The findings show that KH. Nur Salim, centered on four pillars- patience, humility, acceptance, and generosity- not only advances individual spirituality but also strengthens social cohesion in a diverse society. This approach is in line with theories that emphasize contextual adaptation of religious teachings, contributing to the discourse on the role of religion in promoting pluralism and tolerance. However, the study acknowledges limitations related to geographical coverage and methodological challenges, which may impact the generalizability of the findings. These insights have implications for the broader application of Sufism in pluralistic contexts globally.

Abstract

This study examines the performance of millennial employees in four-star hotels in Medan, with harmonious dedication as an intervening variable. The research employs the Partial Least Square – Structural Equation Model (PLS-SEM) for data analysis. The findings indicate that workload does not significantly influence harmonious dedication or employee performance. Conversely, worker autonomy positively impacts both harmonious dedication and employee performance. Work passion significantly affects employee performance but does not contribute to harmonious dedication. Work innovation plays a crucial role, significantly influencing both harmonious dedication and employee performance. Additionally, harmonious dedication enhances employee performance and serves as a mediating variable in the relationship between work innovation and employee performance. However, it does not mediate the effect of work passion on performance. These results highlight the importance of worker autonomy and work innovation in improving employee performance, while workload and work passion have limited direct effects. The study provides insights for hotel management to focus on enhancing autonomy and innovation to boost employee dedication and performance. Future research can explore additional factors influencing millennial employee performance in the hospitality industry.

Abstract

The development of a company requires various processes and cooperation in various sectors in the company. Including in the development of product marketing in marketing the brand community. Therefore, this study will test whether there is a Relationship between Community Identification and Brand Community Involvement and its influence on Co-Creation of Community Functional Support and Community Commitment. Data collection using explanatory methods and secondary data analysis. The results of the study indicate that Community Identification has a significant positive effect on Community Involvement. Likewise, Community Involvement has a significant positive effect on Co-Creation of Community Functional Support. Furthermore, Community Involvement also has a significant positive effect on Community Commitment. Likewise, Co-Creation of Community Functional Support has a significant positive effect on Community Commitment. So it is concluded that each variable has a relationship in the company.

Abstract

The increasing development of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) will have a positive impact on the provision of labor. Therefore, it is important to continue to increase the number of MSME. his study will explain whether there is an influence of Financial Inclusion and Peer To Peer Lending on the Performance of MSME in Sumatra. Data collection uses quantitative methods and uses an explanatory research approach. The population of this study is MSME actors operating in the cities of North Sumatra. Sample selection uses the Slovin approach, so that a minimum sample size of 90 MSMEs is obtained. The results of the study show that financial inclusion has a positive effect on MSME performance. Likewise, Peer To Peer Lending also appears to have a positive effect on MSME workers in North Sumatra.

Abstract

Kecamatan Pasir limau kapas merupakan satu satunya Kecamatan di Kabupaten Rokan Hilir yang memiliki potensi kelautan dan perikanan dengan jumlah nelayan 4.560 orang nelayan penuh, 222 orang nelayan sambilan dan 16 orang nelayan musiman. Dilihat dari potensi sumberdaya kelautan dan perikanan di Perairan Pasir Limau Kapas Kabupaten Rokan Hilir Provinsi Riau, maka terdapat peluang untuk peningkatan pemanfatan sumberdaya berupa usaha perikanan tangkap oleh masyarakat setempat.Tujuan yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui jumlah komposisi hasil tangkapan rawai pada waktu siang dan malam hari yang dilakukan di Kota Penipahan Kecamatan Pasri Limau Kapas Kabupaten Rokan Hilir pada September 2019. Selama penelitian,ikan yang didapat pada hasil tangkapan siang dan malam ada 4 jenis ikan yaitu ikan pari (Dasyatidae), ikan senangin (Eleutheronema tetradactylum), ikan malong (Muraenesox cinereus) dan ikan mata besar (Thunnus obesus). Dimana hasil tangkapan dengan menggunakan menggunakan alat tangkap Rawai adalah sebanyak 668 ekor yang memiliki berat 668 kg, dengan jumlah hasil tangkapan siang hari sebanyak 261 ekor dengan berat 333 kg, sedangkan jumlah hasil tangkapan malam hari sebanyak 407 ekor dengan berat 517 kg. Dapat dilihat bahwa jumlah hasil tangkapan terbanyak tertangkap pada pengoperasian alat tangkap pada malam hari

Abstract

Speedy tester merupakan peralatan pendukung yang digunakan dalam peneriksaan kepadatan tanah di lapangan terutama penggunaannya dalam penentuan kadar air secara cepat di lapangan yang berguna untuk menentukan kadar air tanah in situ di mana titik pengujian kepadatan dilakukan, Salah satu permasalahan yang dialami SMKN Jeumpa Bireuen adalah kurangnya peralatan laboratorium tersebut sehingga memberikan dampak yang signifikan terhadap kemampuan siswa dalam melakukan pengujian yang dapat menyebabkan ketidaktercapaian hasil belajar. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut Tim Pengabdian dari politeknik Negeri Lhokseumawe mencoba mengatasi permasalahan tersebut melalui kegiatan pelatihan yang bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan kepada siswa melalui praktek langsung di lapangan tentang cara penggunaan alat tersebut sehingga nilai kadar air tanah dapat diperoleh secara real time untuk mendukung uji kepadatan dengan peralatan sandcone test. Pelatihan uji kadar air dengan alat Speedy Tester  dilakukan  dengan metode yang  merujuk pada SNI03-1965.1-2000. Dengan perlatan pendukung lainnya berupa neraca dan karbit yang diperlukan untuk bahan pereaksi dalam tabung tertutup pada peralatan Speedy Tester tersebut yang memungkin mendapatkan hasil kadar air dengan cepat. Pelatihan dilakukan terhadap 20 orang siswa kelas 3 SMKN Jeumpa Bireuen yang dilaksanakan di lapangan dan ruang kelas sebagai media demonstrasi cara penggunaannya secara langsung, selama demonstrasi pengujian dibantu oleh 2 orang mahasiswa aktif dari Politeknik Negeri Lhokseumawe yang merupakan mahasiswa yang telah memiliki pengalaman dalam penggunaan alat Speedy Testet. Ketika penggalian pada titik pengujian, sampel tanah dimasukkan ke dalam plastik tertutup agar kadar air aslinya tetap terjaga sebelum pengujian. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa para siswa mampu melaksanakan pengujian kadar air secara mandiri sesuai dengan prosedur standar yang ditetapkan dalam SNI. Setiap siswa diberikan kesempatan untuk mendemostrasikan alat yang diberikan, sehingga dengan perulangan pengujian antara sesama peserta memberikan pemahaman yang labih baik.

Abstract

Community service activities regarding the Transformation of Creative Economy Assistance in Ciganitri Village, Cipagalo Village, Bojongsoang District, Bandung Regency have made a significant contribution in strengthening the community's economic independence through innovation and creativity. Through thorough mentoring methods, including training, workshops, mentoring, and collaboration with local youth, the participants succeeded in increasing their understanding and skills in entrepreneurship. As a result, there is an increase in economic income, diversification of income sources, and expanded access to markets. Good cooperation between the service team, village youth, as well as the village head and village officials has brought encouraging success. This success is a stepping stone for further steps in advancing the creative economy in the village. Thank you to all parties who have contributed, and hope to continue working together to achieve greater goals in the future.
