Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of incentives, servant leadership, and organizational culture on nurses’ performance with work stress as an intervening variable at Delima General Hospital Medan. The population consisted of 39 nurses; therefore, a saturated sampling technique was applied. Data were collected using questionnaires and documentation, then analyzed with t-tests, Sobel test, and path analysis using SPSS 25. The findings revealed: (1) incentives positively affect work stress; (2) servant leadership negatively affects work stress; (3) organizational culture positively affects work stress; (4) incentives and servant leadership have a positive and significant effect on performance; (5) organizational culture has a negative and insignificant effect on performance; (6) work stress has a positive and significant effect on performance; (7) there is no effect of incentives and servant leadership on performance through work stress; (8) organizational culture influences performance through work stress as an intervening variable.

Abstract

The decline in lecturer quality is undoubtedly caused by various factors, both internal and external. This study will examine the influence of competency on lecturer performance, with organizational culture as an intervening variable at universities in Pematangsiantar. The sample size for this study was 220 people. The results indicate that competency (X1) directly and positively influences organizational culture (Z) and lecturer performance (Y) at universities in Pematangsiantar. Furthermore, organizational culture (Z) can indirectly mediate the relationship between competency (X1) and lecturer performance (Y) at universities in North Sumatra.

Abstract

Digitalisation in the public sector has led to higher demands for transparency, accountability, and accurate reporting. However, many organisations still face obstacles such as unsynchronised data, slow reporting processes, and performance evaluations that are not fully evidence-based. These conditions indicate that the effectiveness of information systems is urgently needed to strengthen organisational governance and performance. This study aims to analyse the influence of Information System Effectiveness on Financial Governance and Performance Evaluation in Regional Apparatus Organisations (OPD) within local government. The study uses a quantitative approach with an explanatory research design. The research population consists of OPD employees involved in the use of information systems, financial management, and/or performance evaluation. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with a sample size of 120 respondents. Data collection was conducted through questionnaires in the period November–December 2025. Data analysis used PLS-SEM with the help of SmartPLS through measurement model and structural model evaluation. The results showed that information system effectiveness had a positive effect on strengthening financial governance and improving performance evaluation. These findings confirm that an effective information system not only serves an administrative function but also becomes a strategic factor in ensuring more transparent financial management and more objective performance assessment. The implications of this study encourage OPDs to prioritise improving system quality, data integration, and information utilisation as a basis for performance control and evaluation.

Abstract

Modern Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks increasingly evade traditional defenses, and while Machine Learning (ML) has improved detection accuracy, a critical challenge remains in bridging detection with effective automated mitigation. This paper introduces a novel framework centered on a cognitive agent that synergistically combines high-speed ML detection with the advanced reasoning capabilities of a Large Language Model (LLM) for autonomous DDoS mitigation. The proposed architecture operates as a closed-loop security system. Following a data preprocessing phase that includes one-hot encoding and Standard Scaling (z-score normalization), a fine-tuned Random Forest model was identified as the optimal detector with 95.99% accuracy on the UNSW-NB15 dataset, which in turn triggers the LLM-based agent. This agent autonomously generates both human-readable incident explanations and machine-executable mitigation commands. Crucially, all generated commands undergo a syntax and logic validation step before execution to ensure operational integrity. Empirical results demonstrate the framework's efficacy, achieving a complete end-to-end detection-to-mitigation cycle in 24.20 seconds. This work validates that the unified approach presents a viable and transparent paradigm, contributing to the field of cybersecurity by enhancing automated mitigation and analytical processes through responsive and intelligent defense mechanisms.

Abstract

The development of Information and Communication Technology has changed the way people communicate and receive information, making the spread of hoaxes easier. Low awareness of fact-checking, particularly among individuals with high levels of social media use, poses a challenge to digital media literacy. This condition is also found among members of the Roemah Tawon Foundation, who have a limited understanding of media literacy in the digital era. This community service activity aims to enhance media literacy by improving participants' ability to distinguish between hoax and valid information. The activity was implemented through socialization or counseling using an interactive lecture approach. The target participants were housewives and elementary and secondary school students who are members of the Roemah Tawon Foundation in Tangerang city. The results indicate an increase in participants’ understanding of how to differentiate between hoax and valid information, as demonstrated by their ability to answer questions and actively engage in discussions. This improvement is expected to foster greater awareness in applying the 3C principle (check, compare, and confirm) before sharing information.
