Abstract

This research aims to investigate the implementation of the role of organizational culture in strengthening the social responsibility attitudes of the management of the Political Science and Government Study Program Student Association (HIMA PPKn). Higher education has an important role in forming a young generation who has social awareness and responsibility towards society. In this context, student organizations such as HIMA PPKn can be an effective forum for training students in understanding and practicing their social responsibilities. This research uses qualitative methods with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observation and document analysis. The main respondents in this research were HIMA PPKn administrators who were active in organizational activities. The research results show that organizational culture plays a significant role in influencing the social responsibility attitudes of HIMA PPKn administrators. A strong organizational culture, which prioritizes values such as participation, cooperation, leadership and openness, encourages HIMA PPKn administrators to care more about social issues and be more actively involved in social activities outside the campus environment. The results of this research provide an important contribution to understanding the importance of organizational culture in the context of student organizations and how organizational culture can influence social responsibility attitudes. These findings can be the basis for developing more effective education and training programs to produce a younger generation who are more socially responsible and care about society. In addition, the results of this research can provide guidance for administrators of other student organizations in optimizing the role of organizational culture in strengthening their social responsibility attitudes.

Abstract

This research examines various learning models implemented in secondary schools in different countries and their impact on the quality of education. In the context of globalization and rapid changes in the world of work, education is expected to develop skills relevant to future challenges. This research analyzes seven main learning models that have been proven effective in various countries, namely competency-based models, project-based learning, flipped classroom, inquiry-based learning, collaborative learning, problem-based learning, and technology-based models. Each model has its own characteristics and advantages, and is applied based on local needs and context. Competency-based models, for example, focus on developing students' practical skills needed in the world of work, while flipped classroom and technology-based models provide flexibility in material delivery and allow for more interactive learning. This study uses a literature study approach to collect data and information related to the implementation of these learning models. The results show that the implementation of the right learning model can improve students' motivation, engagement and learning outcomes. Other important factors are infrastructure readiness, teacher training, and education policy support for learning innovation. In Indonesia, the adaptation of these models can improve the quality of education at the secondary school level, provided that there are supporting policies and training for educators. This research provides recommendations for the development of more innovative and skills-based education policies to prepare young people for global challenges.

Abstract

This research focuses on the low writing ability of fourth-grade students at SDN 01 Bulungcangkring, particularly in narrative writing. Many students struggle to organize ideas and express them clearly in written form, which hinders their academic performance. This study aims to address this issue by evaluating the effectiveness of the Think Talk Write (TTW) learning model supported by Nakoku Scrapbook media in improving narrative writing skills. SDN 01 Bulungcangkring was chosen as it reflects common challenges in elementary-level writing skills development.This study used a Pre-Experiment design and involved 37 students from class IV SDN 01 Bulungcangkring. Data was collected using Paired Sample T-test analysis method. The results showed that the Think Talk Write (TTW) learning model supported by Nakoku Scrapbook media was effective in improving students' ability to write Indonesian narrative essays. Paired Sample T-Test statistical analysis resulted in a significant difference between the pretest score (64.6486) and posttest score (84.2162). In addition, the Sig-(2-tailed) value of 0.000 <0.05 indicates that Ho is rejected and Hi is accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of Think Talk Write (TTW) learning model with Nakoku Scrapbook media has a positive impact on the narrative essay writing skills of fourth grade students of SDN 01 Bulungcangkring.Keywords: Think Talk Write, Scrapbook, Narrative Writing Skills

Abstract

The variation in lecturers' commitment is the central issue addressed in this research. Based on the result of a preliminary study and data from the personal department. This fact is evidenced by the suboptimal performance of over 50% of permanent lecturers registered under the foundation fulfilling the three pillars of higher education. This study aims to analyze how the quality of work-life influences fluctuations in lecturers' professional commitment and how organizational culture also affects the level of commitment among tenure-track lecturers at Pamulang University. The quantitative research method uses data analysis through Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) and SITOREM analysis. The instruments used include questionnaires and expert judgment assessment sheets for SITOREM analysis. Upon data analysis, the following results were obtained: 1) the quality of work life significantly influences lecturers' professional commitment; 2) the organizational culture affects lecturers' professional commitment; 3) there is a simultaneous influence of both the quality of work life and organizational culture on lecturers' commitment to their profession. Based on the research findings, organizational culture, which constitutes a component of the organizational mechanism, exerts a direct influence on professional commitment, which is part of individual outcome theory, without necessitating passage through the variables encompassed within the individual mechanism. The implication of this study suggests that the professional commitment of lecturers can be further enhanced through the reinforcement of work-life quality and organizational culture. Abstrak: Bervariasinya komitmen dosen menjadi inti permasalahan dalam penelitian ini. Fakta ini dibuktikan berdasarkan studi pendahuluan dan data dari bagian kepegawaian bahwa lebih dari 50% dosen yang terdaftar sebagai dosen tetap yayasan belum optimal dalam menjalankan tridarma perguruan tinggi. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana kualitas kehidupan kerja memiliki pengaruh terhadap naik dan turunnya komitmen profesi dosen serta bagaimana budaya organisasi juga mempengaruhi tinggi rendahnya komitmen terhadap profesi dosen tetap yayasan di Universitas Pamulang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan analisis data menggunakan SEM dan analisis SITOREM. Instrument yang digunakan adalah angket dan lembar penilaian expert judgment untuk analisis SITOREM. Setelah dilakukan analisis data maka diperoleh hasil sebagai berikut 1) kualitas kehidupan kerja memiliki pengaruh terhadap pada komitmen profesi dosen; 2) budaya organisasi memiliki pengaruh terhadap komitmen profesi dosen; 3) terdapat pengaruh secara simultan kualitas kehidupan kerja dan budaya organisasi terhadap komitmen terhadap profesi dosen. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, maka budaya organisasi yang merupakan bagian dari organizational mechanism memiliki pengaruh secara langsung terhadap komitmen profesi yang merupakan bagian dari teori individual outcome tanpa perlu melalui variabel yang tercakup pada individual mechanism. Implikasi pada penelitian ini dikemukakan bahwa komitmen profesi dosen dapat terus ditingkatkan melalui penguatan kualitas kehidupan kerja dan budaya organisasi.

Abstract

Currently, many students are less interested in learning, therefore a more interactive approach method is needed. The purpose of this study is to develop Flipped Classroom learning management assisted by Plickers to improve elementary school students' mathematics learning outcomes. The approach used in the development research is the Bord and Gall design. The study was conducted on elementary school students in grade VI of elementary school. Data collection techniques used questionnaires and tests. The results of the study indicate that the learning management design in Flipped Classroom helps Plickers implement management functions, namely planning curriculum analysis, learning objectives and assessments, developing learning steps, and preparing teaching tools. The learning process is carried out outside and inside the classroom. Evaluation is carried out with Plickers. The results of expert validation obtained an average score of 4.5 with the appropriate category. The results of the effectiveness test showed that the calculated F was 95.366 and the calculated sig was 0.000, so 0.000 <0.05, and the magnitude of the influence of the flipped classroom learning model on learning outcomes was 0.618 or 61.8%. Thus, Flipped Classroom learning management with the help of Plickers assessment is used effectively to improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengintegrasikan kepemimpinan transformasional dan transaksional dalam meningkatkan kompetensi kepala sekolah SMA swasta di Kota Tangerang. Kepemimpinan transformasional berfokus pada visi jangka panjang, inspirasi, dan pemberdayaan, sedangkan kepemimpinan transaksional menekankan pada pencapaian target melalui struktur dan penghargaan. Metode pelatihan yang digunakan mencakup ceramah, studi kasus, dan diskusi interaktif. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui pre-test dan post-test untuk mengukur peningkatan pemahaman peserta. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam rata-rata skor pemahaman, yaitu 35% pada teori dan 40% pada studi kasus. Peserta juga mampu merumuskan strategi kolaboratif yang relevan dengan tantangan sekolah, seperti penguatan budaya organisasi dan mentoring guru. Temuan ini mendukung penelitian sebelumnya yang menegaskan bahwa kombinasi kedua gaya kepemimpinan dapat menciptakan keseimbangan antara inovasi dan stabilitas operasional. Kesimpulannya, penguatan kepemimpinan melalui integrasi gaya transformasional dan transaksional merupakan langkah strategis dalam meningkatkan efektivitas kepemimpinan di sektor pendidikan. Kegiatan ini tidak hanya berdampak positif bagi kepala sekolah, tetapi juga memberikan kontribusi terhadap pengembangan literatur kepemimpinan pendidikan.

Abstract

This study aims to enhance the self-confidence and psychological well-being of Indonesian migrant workers (TKI) in Hong Kong. The initiative was developed in response to the challenges faced by TKI, including discrimination, social isolation, and cultural adaptation difficulties, which often lead to low self-esteem and stress. Using a participatory qualitative research method, the study collected data through observations, in-depth interviews, and participant feedback during a series of training and counselling sessions focused on stress management, communication skills, and community building. The findings reveal significant improvements in participants' confidence, with notable increases in their ability to communicate effectively, manage stress, and build social support networks. These results underscore the importance of integrating training with social support mechanisms to address the multifaceted challenges faced by migrant workers. The study contributes to the literature on migrant worker empowerment by offering a replicable model for similar interventions in other contexts.

Abstract

This activity examines the role of the OSIS organizational structure at SMP N 16 in developing an effective team in the context of community service events. A clear and planned OSIS organizational structure is an important foundation for improving member performance. Methods for Implementing Socialization Activities. The methods used in this socialization include interactive and practical approaches. Lecture Method The lecture method remains one of the main approaches in this socialization activity because it allows the delivery of information in a systematic and structured manner. Apart from providing theoretical exposure, the lecture method is also combined with visualization and other presentation tools to make it easier for participants to understand the material. This socialization aims to build and create an increased sense of responsibility for their respective roles in an effective organizational structure in every activity at school and outside school. It is hoped that this activity can become a reference for other schools in optimizing the function of student organizations.

Abstract

Latar belakang: Analisis mutu DNA hasil isolasi merupakan teknik analisis yang digunakan untuk mengetahui kualitas DNA hasil isolasi sehingga meminimalkan kegagalan proses amplifikasi dalam analisis molekuler. Tujuan: Tujuan dilakukan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat mutu DNA hasil isolasi pada produk pangan olahan ikan berupa otak-otak ikan bandeng.  Prosedur ekstraksi DNA mengikuti protokol ekstraksi manual kit yang digunakan. Analisis mutu DNA hasil isolasi diukur menggunakan nanophotometer, dimana analisis mutu berdasarkan nilai konsentrasi dan kemurnian DNA hasil isolasi. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji rata-rata nilai konsentrasi dan kemurnian. Hasil: Berdasarkan hasil analisis mutu DNA diperoleh hasil konsentrasi DNA berada pada kisaran 9.6 – 18.5 dengan nilai rata-rata DNA hasil isolasi berada pada nilai 13.4 ng/µL, sedangkan nilai kemurnian yang dibaca pada panjang gelombang A260/A28 berada pada kisaran 1.64 – 1.87, dengan nilai rata-rata berada pada nilai 1.79. Simpulan: Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa DNA hasil isolasi yang dilakukan pada sampel produk pangan olahan otak-otak ikan bandeng menunjukkan nilai konsentrasi dan kemurnian yang masuk dalam kategori hasil isolasi DNA yang baik.

Abstract

Siswa memiliki potensi besar menjadi agen perubahan di masa depan. Latar belakang mereka yang dinamis, akses terhadap teknologi, serta semangat muda menjadikan kekuatan yang harus diperhitungkan dalam upaya mewujudkan perubahan positif. Keikutsertaan siswa dalam organisasi di sekolah memiliki banyak manfaat yang melampaui sekadar menjalankan kegiatan organisasi. Siswa dapat mengembangkan kemampuan kepemimpinan, kerja sama, komunikasi dan manajemen waktu. Agar kegiatan organisasi berjalan lancar, diperlukan kepemimpinan yang cakap untuk mengelola organisasi. Pada era digital membuat kepemimpinan sangat berbeda dengan kepemimpinan di era sebelumnya. maka diperlukan pemahaman mengenai kepemimpinan organisasi sekolah di era digital. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan berkontribusi pada pemberdayaan masyarakat, penyelesaian masalah sosial dan peningkatan kualitas hidup masyarakat dengan membantu peningkatan kompetensi siswa, pembentukan karakter dan pengembangan kepemimpinan di era digital. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah siswa mendapatkan pengembangan keterampilan kepemimpinan organisasi sekolah dan peningkatan literasi digital. Selain itu siswa juga mendapatkan latihan praktik membuat timeline konten digital
