Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the correlation between certified teachers and teacher pedagogical competence and improving the quality of learning at SDN Bintoro 5 Demak. This study used a correlational design and quantitative methodology. To collect data in this study, questionnaires, interviews, and direct observation were used. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis techniques and correlational analysis using Karl Pearson's product moment correlation. The results of this study indicate (1) The results of the Pearson correlation test show a very strong relationship between pedagogical competence and learning quality. The correlation values of 0.92 and 0.88 respectively at a significance level of 1% indicate that teacher certification has a positive and significant relationship with pedagogical competence and improving the quality of learning (2) The level of pedagogical competence of certified teachers is higher than that of uncertified teachers as evidenced by the results of the average frequency measurement of teacher pedagogical competence showing an average of 82.3% with a very good category.

Abstract

This community service initiative was carried out to implement a self-improvement strategy as an effort to strengthen the school culture at SMK Muhammadiyah 02 Tangerang in the era of Society 5.0. In this period of rapid technological advancement, schools are required not only to adapt to digital transformation but also to consistently cultivate character and humanistic values that form the foundation of education. Across many vocational schools, similar challenges tend to emerge, including low levels of student self-awareness, inconsistent discipline, unstable learning motivation, and the inadequate internalization of school values in daily learning activities and interpersonal interactions. These conditions influence students’ readiness to meet the demands of the workforce and navigate the social dynamics of the digital age.To address these issues, the program was designed through a series of activities, including training sessions, workshops, counseling, group discussions, education games, and direct mentoring. All components of the program aimed to foster students’ critical-thinking skills, effective communication, time and emotional management, as well as to enhance their motivation and commitment to continuous self-development. The outcomes indicate that students began to grasp the concept of self-improvement more deeply, demonstrated the ability to engage in self-reflection, identified their personal strengths and weaknesses, and formulated practical steps for more structured personal development. Furthermore, positive changes were observed in several aspects, including discipline, collaboration, participation in school activities, and students’ decision-making abilities.

Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini yaitu kesulitan guru dalam menentukan strategi pembelajaran matematika yang efektif sehingga berdampak pada kemampuan literasi numerasi peserta didik yang rendah dalam memahami soal cerita matematika. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dalam peningkatan kemampuan literasi numerasi peserta didik kelas I SD 1 Bakalankrapyak. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahap yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas I dengan jumlah 15 peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan tes hasil belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan literasi numerasi pada setiap siklusnya. Pada siklus I memperoleh rata-rata sebesar 52 dan siklus II memperoleh rata-rata 76. Presentase hasil belajar yang menunjukkan kemampuan literasi numerasi peserta didik yang tuntas pada siklus I sebesar 33% dan siklus II sebanyak 67%. Penelitian tindakan kelas dengan penerapan model Problem Based Learning dapat dikatakan berhasil meningkatkan kemampuan literasi numerasi karena telah mencapai indikator keberhasilan yang ditetapkan yaitu rata-rata yang diperoleh mencapai ≥ 70. Jadi, sebaiknya pembelajaran berpusat pada peserta didik dengan memberikan stimulus berupa permasalahan matematika dalam kehidupansehari-hari dan guru hanya menjadi fasilitator. Dengan demikian, peserta didik lebih dapat menggali kemampuan mereka termasuk kemampuan literasi numerasi pada pembelajaran matematika.

Abstract

This Community Service is an implementation of research entitled The Influence of Quality of Work Life and Organizational Culture on Professional Commitment. Indonesian Migrant Workers are one of the backbones of the national economy and Hong Kong is one of the main destinations for migrant workers from Indonesia. The migrant worker community and civil society organizations in Hong Kong play a crucial role in assisting Indonesian migrant workers. In this context, the role of the community, non-governmental organizations, and the state is crucial in efforts to improve the quality of life and work of Indonesian migrant workers. The Indonesian migrant community in Hong Kong has demonstrated high solidarity through educational, spiritual, and advocacy activities. Through a structured and participatory online workshop approach, it is hoped that the quality of life and work of Indonesian migrant workers in Hong Kong can be significantly improved. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perencanaan program literasi, numerasi dan karakter berbasis data rapor pendidikan pada tahun 2022 di SMP Negeri 1 Tayu. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Hasil penelitian disajikan dalam narasi deskriptif yang kemudian menjadi gambaran bagi satuan pendidikan lainnya dalam menyusun program pembelajaran yang sesuai. Teknik pengumpulan datanya adalah wawancara, observasi, dan analisis dokumen rapor pendidikan tahun 2022. Hasil analisis diperoleh nilai literasi 73,33%, numerasi 66,67% dan karakter mendapat nilai sedang (56,70%). Akar masalah literasi pada kemampuan membaca teks informasi dan kompetenai membaca teks sastra, yang masih terbatas, metode dan pembelajaran kurang inovatif. Untuk numerasi akar masalahnya yaitu kompetensi pada domain aljabar, domain bilangan masih kurang, metode dan pembelajaran kurang inovatif. Akar masalah karakter yaitu kemandirian dan nalar kritis yang masih kurang. Program untuk peningkatan literasi yang didakan dalam intrakurikuler meliputi: 1) PRO LIGA (Program Literasi Keagamaan), 2) GLNS (Gerakan Literasi dan Numerasi Sekolah), 3) Implementasi P5, 4) Penguatan literasi dan numerasi pada pembelajaran semua mata pelajaran. Program dukungan literasi lainnya di SMP Negeri 1 Tayu yaitu: 1) Supervisi Akademik Berbasis Coaching, 2) Pengoptimalan fungsi perpustakaan, 3) Pengoptimalan fungsi perpustakaan. Program peningkatan karakter melalui kegiatan pembiasaan: 1) 5S (Senyum, Sapa, Salam, Sopan dan Santun), 2) Pengadaan kartu Kontrol Nilai untuk prasyarat mengikuti ASAS (Asesmen Sumatif Akhir Semester), ASAT (Asesmen Sumatif Akhir Tahun) untuk melatih karakter tanggung jawab, 3) Pengadaan kartu keluar kelas bagi siswa yang akan keluar kelas untuk membentuk karakter disiplin, 4) Pengembangan menuju Adiwiyita mandiri, 5) Penguatan karakter oleh Waka dan Kepala Sekolah. Program-program tersebut mendapat dukungan segenap warga sekolah dan orang tua siswa serta masyarakat sekitar.

Abstract

Vocational education plays a strategic role in preparing competent human resources to meet job market demands. However, 40% of vocational high school graduates experience a mismatch between their competencies and industry needs, primarily due to teachers' suboptimal performance in aligning the curriculum (link-and-match). This study investigates the simultaneous influence of transformational leadership, work motivation, work discipline, and organizational culture on teacher performance in vocational high schools located in the Pulogadung industrial area, East Jakarta, Indonesia. Using a cross-sectional quantitative design, data were collected from 116 teachers in five accredited vocational high schools through a validated questionnaire with a 5-point Likert scale. Multiple linear regression analysis with classical assumption testing was applied. The findings indicate that all four variables significantly influence teacher performance (p < 0.05), with organizational culture showing the highest relative contribution (standardized β = 0.328, t = 4.567, p < 0.001). The combined model explained 76.9% of the variance in teacher performance (R² = 0.769, F = 89.234, p < 0.001). Transformational leadership (β = 0.245), work motivation (β = 0.278), and work discipline (β = 0.167) also showed significant positive effects..

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of School-Based Management in developing the Adiwiyata Mandiri Program at UPTD SD Negeri Kecamatan Pamulang as an effort to strengthen environmental education in elementary schools. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and document analysis to obtain a comprehensive overview of the planning, organizing, implementation, and monitoring of the Adiwiyata program. Data were analyzed using an interactive model that includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that the implementation of School-Based Management follows a systematic and participatory process, characterized by planning that involves all school stakeholders, clear task division within the Adiwiyata Team, integration of environmental values into learning activities, and monitoring supported by digital documentation. Key supporting factors include strong school leadership, teacher commitment, student participation, and support from the school committee, while the main challenges involve limited funding, insufficient teacher training, and low environmental awareness among some parents. The novelty of this study lies in its comprehensive mapping of the relationship between SBM dimensions and the effectiveness of the Adiwiyata Mandiri program, offering an implementation model that can be replicated by other elementary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) in developing teacher organizational culture in a private junior high school in Panongan District. Field phenomena indicate that teacher volunteer behavior strongly influences interaction patterns, work values, and habits that shape the school's organizational culture. The study used a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation analysis, then analyzed using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña model. The results show that OCB contributes significantly to strengthening organizational culture through behaviors of altruism, courtesy, conscientiousness, civic virtue, and sportsmanship. Factors supporting the emergence of OCB include the principal's exemplary behavior, an open communication climate, and the school's religiosity. Obstacles that arise are related to teachers' administrative burdens, the dynamics of policy changes, and inconsistent role models at the managerial level. The study concludes that OCB is an important foundation in building a collaborative and sustainable teacher organizational culture.

Abstract

Digital transformation in the educational context requires teachers to possess adequate digital literacy competencies to integrate technology into learning. This study aims to describe the implementation of digital transformation in building a digital literacy culture among teachers at SMP PGRI, Pondok Labu District, South Jakarta. The research approach used a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that the digital transformation process has been ongoing but is not yet optimal. Teachers still experience obstacles in the use of digital devices, utilization of learning platforms, and consistency in implementing digital literacy practices. The main inhibiting factors include limited training, unstable network infrastructure, and low teacher confidence in using technology. Nevertheless, the school is committed to providing technological facilities and encouraging a shift in work culture towards a digital-based learning environment. This study emphasizes the importance of continuous training, technological assistance, and the provision of adequate infrastructure to accelerate teachers' digital literacy culture comprehensively.
