Abstract

This study examines the influence of fintech applications, financial literacy, and digital lifestyle on personal financial management in the digital era, particularly among millennials and Gen Z. Using a survey of 68 respondents and multiple linear regression analysis, it was found that the use of fintech applications does not significantly impact personal financial management on its own. However, financial literacy and digital lifestyle have a significant influence. Together, these three variables account for 58.3% of the variation in personal financial management, while the remaining 41.7% is influenced by other factors. This study highlights the importance of financial literacy and understanding of digital lifestyles in personal finance.

Abstract

Employee performance is a key factor in the success of organizations, making the understanding of influencing factors essential. This study aims to analyze the impact of leadership style, training, and motivation on employee performance. A qualitative approach using literature study methods was employed to collect, filter, and interpret findings from various academic sources. The results indicate that effective leadership styles, such as democratic and transformational styles, positively influence employee performance. Relevant and continuous training also enhances competencies and motivation, ultimately leading to improved performance. Work motivation, both intrinsic and extrinsic, is a crucial drive for employees to increase productivity and work quality. This study demonstrates that these three factors are interrelated and interactively influence employee performance. Therefore, companies need to implement supportive leadership styles, provide appropriate training, and create a motivating work environment to enhance employee performance and achieve organizational goals.

Abstract

Cryptocurrencies, as a rapidly growing asset class, have raised concerns regarding financial stability due to their high market volatility. This study investigates the impact of global regulatory interventions on cryptocurrency market volatility and financial stability through a mixed-methods design, combining both quantitative and qualitative approaches. The primary objective is to assess how regulatory policies in key jurisdictions, such as the United States, China, and the European Union, influence the volatility of cryptocurrency markets. The quantitative analysis employs the GARCH (Generalized Autoregressive Conditional Heteroskedasticity) model to analyze the volatility of major cryptocurrency, including Bitcoin and Ethereum, before and after the implementation of regulatory policies. Daily price data from multiple sources is analyzed, providing insights into volatility shifts corresponding to significant policy changes. The qualitative component involves a review of regulatory policy literature and semi-structured interviews with market participants, such as investors and regulators, to uncover the underlying mechanisms through which regulatory actions affect market dynamics. The results indicate that stringent regulation, such as outright bans (e.g., China), tend to increase market volatility in the short term, while regulations that promote legal integration (e.g., the EU’s MiCA framework) contribute to market stabilization over time. The study also reveals notable variations in regulatory approaches across countries, with differing impacts on global market behavior. These findings highlight the critical role of regulatory frameworks in shaping cryptocurrency market dynamics and contribute to the literature by providing both empirical evidence and policy recommendations that can inform future regulatory decision-making. By integrating qualitative insights with quantitative data, the study offers a nuanced understanding of how regulation influences cryptocurrency market volatility and stability.

Abstract

This study investigates the nexus between capital structure, profitability, and environmental performance among companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2020 to 2024. The objective is to analyze how financial leverage and environmental performance influence profitability, as well as the mediating role of profitability in linking capital structure to environmental performance. Using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) on 126 companies, the results show that capital structure negatively affects profitability and environmental performance, while environmental performance positively influences profitability. Profitability significantly mediates the relationship between capital structure and environmental performance, supporting both the Trade-Off and Stakeholder Theories. The findings emphasize the need for firms to maintain optimal leverage and integrate sustainability strategies to enhance long-term profitability and corporate value.

Abstract

Global Mandiri Patrol School, a private educational institution located in Indramayu, West Java, faces challenges in disseminating information to students, parents, and the wider community due to the absence of official digital information media. This research aims to implement a Content Management System (CMS)-based school website to support the digital transformation of educational institutions. The community service method is designed participatively through five stages: (1) program socialization, (2) teacher and staff training, (3) technology implementation for website development, (4) intensive website management mentoring, and (5) evaluation and sustainability planning. The research results show that the school website has been successfully launched with all planned features, 2–3 staff members have been trained in content management, and sustainability commitment from school leaders and the foundation has been documented. Measurable social impacts include improved information transparency, enhanced school communication efficiency, increased institutional image, and support for school accreditation processes. Regarding partner capacity, this activity has increased digital literacy among school teachers and staff and opened opportunities for sustained innovation. The conclusion of this research is that school website development is an effective strategic step in supporting the digital transformation of educational institutions and improving service quality to the community

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), and Non-Performing Loan (NPL) on Return on Assets (ROA) in the Indonesian banking industry. This research employs a quantitative approach using secondary data obtained from Indonesian Banking Statistics published by the Financial Services Authority (OJK) for the period 2015–2024, comprising 40 quarterly observations. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, classical assumption tests, and multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the classical assumption tests indicate that the residuals are normally distributed; however, autocorrelation was detected in the initial model and subsequently corrected using the Cochrane– Orcutt method. The findings show that CAR, LDR, and NPL simultaneously have a significant effect on ROA. Partially, CAR and LDR have a positive and significant effect on ROA, while NPL has a negative and significant effect on ROA. These results indicate that capital adequacy and effective credit distribution play an important role in enhancing banking profitability, whereas higher levels of non-performing loans tend to reduce financial performance. Abstract

The capital market is an aspect that influences economic progress in Indonesia. In the economic and financial fields, the capital market is a very important war in this field, because it is one of the sources of external funding for the business world and investment. The research method used is descriptive analysis (descriptive research design), and the correlational method includes describing the relationship between the variables studied and describing the effect of independent variables on the dependent variable. From the sample of 5 companies taken, it shows that banking companies in Indonesia listed on the LQ45 Index are in a healthy financial capacity. A healthy LDR is generally in the range of 80% -90%, which means that the company can use its funds efficiently to provide loans. Based on the analysis of this study, the banking sector included in the LQ45 index showed a fairly good financial condition during the observation period of 2019-2023. The results of the study obtained stated that market capitalization did not have a significant positive effect on stock prices, while inflation and liquidity calculated by the Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR) did not have a significant negative effect on stock prices.
