Abstract

Latar belakang penelitan ini adalah untuk membantu menyampaikan materi virus dalam bentuk teks, gambar, audio dan video secara bersamaan yang disajikan dalam bentuk website.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk  mendeskripsikan kelayakan desain pengembangan sumber belajar website berbasis google sites materi virus untuk pembelajaran biologi SMA Kelas X. Metode pengembangan yang digunakan adalah Research and Development  dengan model Four-D Thiagarajan yang dilaksanakan hingga tahap Development (Uji Coba Pengembangan). Kelayakan media divalidasi oleh 5 orang ahli, dilanjutkan dengan uji respon pada 12 siswa. Instrumen validasi berupa angket validasi media oleh ahli dan angket respon siswa. Analisis validasi ahli menggunakan rumus Aiken’s V, sedangkan analisis angket dilakukan dengan perhitungan persentase aspek kognisi, afeksi dan konasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan website layak digunakan sebagai sumber belajar materi virus kelas X IPA berdasarkan validasi ahli (Aiken’s V 0,87 ≥ 0,8) dan berdasarkan uji respon siswa pada aspek kognisi, afeksi dan konasi (berturut-turut 95.56%, 96.89%, 94.22%) yang seluruhnya > 61%.

Abstract

Kajian tentang miskonsepsi yang ditemukan pada buku ajar pernah dilaporkan dalam berbagai penelitian. Ajang pertemuan ilmiah yang diikuti oleh guru dan calon guru bisa mendukung peningkatan kompetensi keilmuan sehingga bisa memperkuat pengetahuan yang diperlukan untuk menyaring buku ajar yang baik untuk digunakan dalam pembelajarannya. Kegiatan pengabdian ini menggunakan bentuk bedah buku pada materi genetika dalam tiga buku Biologi untuk siswa di kelas XII SMA yang banyak digunakan di Kota Pontianak menurut hasil survei di 27 SMA pada semester gazal TA 2021/2022.  Aspek yang dikaji dari ketiga buku ajar meliputi 1) kesesuaian dengan kurikulum dan kompetensi dasar, 2) urutan/ sistematika dalam memahami konsep, 3) konten/ kebenaran konsep, 4) tata bahasa dan penulisan, 5) tampilan dan kemenarikan, dan 6) tuntutan dalam soal latihan. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 34 peserta yang terdiri atas 6 orang dosen, 16 guru, 11 mahasiswa, dan 1 umum. Pemaparan materi berjalan dengan lancar oleh keempat narasumber. Peserta menilai bahwa kegiatan ini penting untuk menggali pengetahuan yang lebih dalam dan lebih luas dalam memahami konsep pada materi genetika yang sebenarnya.

Abstract

Higher education's internal quality assurance system (IQAS) has regulated both the mechanism and the final achievement. To provide quality educational services, one of the pieces of evidence is the existence of an accreditation level status. The accreditation level status results from a quality culture reflected in good reporting following the planned conditions and achievements achieved. This effort is not wholly running smoothly. The change of different criteria in the output-based BAN-PT Accreditation is a challenge that forces a change in work patterns and reporting. Availability of standards, output targets, and outputs must be measurable in each criterion. Several things are still obstacles, so that the implementation of IQAS is significantly related to achievement standards, ease of accessing information, and document renewal which must adjust changes to the nine criteria. IQAS's efforts were carried out as preparation for external quality assurance as an institution's accountability to stakeholders.

Abstract

Folklore is a reflection of the life of the old community, whether in the form of fairy tales, myths, sages, or legends. In this research, the objects in the folklore of Sambas people were packaged in a worksheet as teaching materials based on science process skills. This study aimed to describe the development of a worksheet as teaching material, the results of its validation, and student questionnaire response tests on the science process skill-based living classification system sub material for high school students in class X. This type of research is descriptive of the research and development methods of the ADDIE model. The development stages used include analysis, design, development, and implementation. The research instruments used were interview sheets, validation sheets, and student response questionnaire sheets. The development of student worksheets based on science process skills-based living classification system sub material with folklore enrichment has been successfully carried out. However, the validation results are still not declared valid (CVI = 0.93), especially in conformity with basic competency, competence achievement indicators, and learning objectives, as well as providing motivation. After being revised, students responded to the results of the student worksheet by 89.06% or were in the very high category.

Abstract

Buku teks pelajaran pada dasarnya selalu digunakan oleh guru sebagai media pembelajaran utama dalam menyampaikan submateri manfaat keanekaragaman hayati. Namun, buku teks yang digunakan rata-rata berukuran relatif besar, materi yang terdapat dalam buku teks juga relatif panjang, dan hanya memuat informasi pemanfaatan keanekaragaman hayati secara umum. Oleh sebab itu, muncul gagasan untuk membuat buku saku keanekaragaman hayati berbasis pemanfaatan tumbuhan dalam upacara adat Melayu Ketapang di Kelurahan Mulia Kerta. Tujuan pada penelitian kali ini untuk mengukur validitas buku saku sebagai media pembelajaran yang akan digunakan pada submateri manfaat keanekaragaman hayati tumbuhan adat. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan 12 pengujian kriteria penilaian berdasarkan penilaian 5 orang validator sebagi ahli media. Berdasarkan hasil validasi, buku saku mendapat nilai koefisien V sebesar 0,81 (kategori baik) dan mendapat nilai reabilitas sebesar 0,611 (kategori baik) sehingga memiliki kelayakan yang baik untuk digunakan sebagai media penunjang proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

Abstract: This research was conducted to find out how the character education of faith, piety, and noble character of students during the implementation of limited face-to-face learning at SD Negeri 03 Sontas. The research used qualitative method. The research design used case study. The subjects in this study consisted of the principal, the vice of curriculum field, and one teacher at SD Negeri 03 Sontas. The instrument in this study used an interview guide. The data analysis technique used coding and data reduction from the interview. The findings of this study indicate that school has made efforts to implement character education of faith, piety, and noble character through the tasks given during the implementation of limited face-to-face learning. Although school has tried to implement character education, this has not been maximized because the school cannot control the character education activities of students at home. Serious efforts are needed for parents and the community to pay attention to the development of the character of faith, piety, and noble character of students. So that, the responsibility for the student development to be responsibility of all elements in the society.Keywords: Character education, faith, devotion, noble character, limited face-to-face meetings.  Abstrak: Penelitian yang dilakukan ini ingin melihat bagaimana pendidikan karakter keimanan, ketaqwaan dan akhlak mulia peserta didik selama penerapan pembelajaran tatap muka terbatas di SD Negeri 03 Sontas. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif. Desain penelitian menggunakan studi kasus. Subjek pada penelitian ini terdiri dari kepala sekolah, waka kurikulum, dan satu orang guru di SD Negeri 03 Sontas. Instrumen pada penelitian ini menggunakan pedoman wawancara. Teknik analisis data menggunakan coding dan reduksi data dari hasil wawancara. Temuan dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa sekolah telah berupaya menerapkan pendidikan karakter keimanan, ketaqwaan dan akhlak mulia melalui tugas yang diberikan selama penerapan pembelajaran tatap muka terbatas. Meskipun sekolah sudah berusaha menerapkan pendidikan karakter tetapi hal ini belum maksimal dikarenakan pihak sekolah tidak dapat mengontrol kegiatan pendidikan karakter siswa dirumah. Perlu upaya serius bagi orang tua dan masyrakat untuk memperhatikan perkembangan karakter keimanan, ketakwaan dan akhlak mulia peserta didik. Sehingga tanggung jawab perkembangan siswa menjadi tanggung jawab bersama seluruh elemen masyarakat.Kata Kunci: Pendidikan karakter, Keimanan, Ketaqwaan, Akhlak mulia, Pertemuan Tatap Muka Terbatas.

Abstract

The position of the leaves on each plant can affect the thickness of the leaf tissue. This study aims to determine the thickness of the leaf tissue at the base and shoot positions. The study used a nested design model (random nesting pattern design). This design uses two factors, the first factor is the leaves of six types of monocot ornamental plants, namely adam hawa (Rhoeo discolor), daffodils (Hymenocallis littoralis), hanjuang (Cordyline fructicosa), lilies of paris (Chlorophytum laxum), song india (Dracaena reflexa) and sri fortune (Aglaonema commutatum), while the second factor was leaf position (base and shoot) with three replications. The method of making leaf preserved preparations is paraffin which refers to Johansen. Parameters measured were total leaf thickness, upper epidermis, lower epidermis, mesophyll (palisade and sponge). Data were analyzed with ANOVA followed by LSD if the factor results were significant. The correlation was made between the total leaf thickness and the tissue which was significant on the leaf position factor. The results showed that the type of plant affected the total leaf thickness, upper and lower epidermis, mesophyll (palisade and sponge). However, leaf position has no effect on the thickness of the upper epidermis and sponge for differentiated mesophyll. The thickness of the leaf depends on the thickness of the lower epidermis, followed by the thickness of the mesophyll or palisade for differentiated mesophyll.

Abstract

Submission of material that only uses printed books, printed pictures, and power points as well as limited infrastructure hinders student learning experiences. Augmented reality (AR) interactive media is one of the innovations to make it easier to guide material to make it more interesting and interactive. So this study aims to describe the feasibility of interactive multimedia augmented reality of food plants as a support for learning biodiversity in 10th grade of senior high school. The augmented reality system was created using Vuforia and Unity 3D software, and involved curriculum analysis, storyboard design, data collection, marker creation, and 2D object design of food plants, followed by AR media creation. This research used a quantitative descriptive method, data collection is carried out using validation instruments of material experts and media experts. Validators consist of 3 material experts and 3 media experts. The validation obtained an average total validation (RTVtk) of material experts at 3.83 and media experts at 3.80. This assessment is considered valid because it meets the validity standard, namely 3≤mRTVtk≤4. Thus, interactive multimedia augmented reality is suitable to be used as a learning medium in the sub-material of utilizing biodiversity as food plants in 10th grade of high school.

Abstract

The mnemonic method is a powerful technique for memorizing the subject matter we study. This study aims to determine the effect of using the mnemonic method on male reproductive system material on student learning outcomes and retention. This classroom action research involved 30 class XI students of SMAN 10 Pontianak for the 2022/2023 academic year. It uses two learning maintenance cycles. Two male reproductive system lesson plans, two Likert scales for observing teacher performance, and two achievement tests were administered in this study. The research results show that the average score of student learning achievement increased from 56.0 to 81.0. The percentage of learning completeness is 83.3%. In addition, some students' notes use mnemonic techniques. It was concluded that the mnemonic technique succeeded in increasing student learning outcomes and their retention (in the high category) in the male reproductive system material. Some recommendations are that this technique should be used by teachers in schools

Abstract

This Community Service aims to provide knowledge and skills to Indonesian Language Education Masters Study Program students in writing scientific articles. This activity must be carried out because students must publish their research articles in accredited national journals or international journals under the Regulation of the Minister of Research, Technology, and Higher Education Number 50 of 2018. This activity uses the problem-solving method to overcome three problems, preparation of training modules, implementation workshops/training, and the ability of students to write scientific articles. This community service activity produces the following things. (1) Availability of scientific article writing training modules. (2) The implementation of the workshop/training was well proven by > 75% (16 people/76.19%) of students, who managed to get an average score of 76.19 in a pretty good category. (3) The ability to write scientific articles for students is at an average score of 76.19 in a fairly good category. The average score based on the indicator of completeness of the structure is 83.33 in the good category; the language aspect indicator is 77.38 in a fairly good category; the template suitability indicator of 76.19 in a pretty good category; the Mendeley application utilization indicator is 50.00 in the less category. The scientific article content indicator is 92.86 in the very good category and the literature review indicator of 77.38 in the fairly good category.
