Abstract

Rapid technological developments demand innovation and creativity in utilizing and creating new solutions. This also applies to PT Xyz, which is facing digital transformation to integrate its systems. One of the challenges faced is that the packaging monitoring process is still carried out manually using queries on the database, causing limited access and lack of work efficiency Since the only individual with access to the database is the IT division. Research was carried out to build a web-based platform intended for monitoring packaging processes results using barcode numbers where there are 3 packages used, namely small cover, large cover and box cover. This system was developed using the waterfall methodology and SQL Server for the database. It aims to simplify data access for employees, reducing their dependence on the IT department, and enhance the accuracy and efficiency of their workflow by allowing direct data monitoring. Unified Modeling Language (UML) was utilized for system design modeling. The research outcomes include the integration of the packaging monitoring system with current packaging applications. Blackbox testing was employed, and the results confirmed that the barcode-based packaging monitoring system operated correctly without any errors.

Abstract

Kondisi dunia berubah dan berkembang sangat cepat serta tidak menentu. Mindset strategis sangat diperlukan bagi setiap SDM lulusan SMK saat ini. Dengan mindset strategis memungkinkan lulusan SMK memiliki perilaku dan sikap lebih baik, benar dan terarah. Lulusan SMK diharapkan dapat (1) Menjadi SDM yang siap untuk bekerja; (2) Melanjutkan pendidikan ke jenjang pendidikan di atasnya; dan (3) Menjadi wirausaha. Oleh karena itu, kemampuan dalam berpikir strategis, benar, teliti, cermat, dan konsisten menjadi elemen yang penting dalam membangun road map career yang akan dibuatnya. Tujuan umum dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah membantu Siswa SMK YPUI Parung dalam mebangun road map career. Metode yang digunakan adalah pelatihan, praktik dan sharing session. Kegiatan pelatihan dirancang khusus untuk membentuk sikap yang benar, memiliki kemampuan pengetahuan yang baik dan ketrampilan yang baik. Hasil dari kegiatan ini siswa mampu memahami isu terkini terkait jumlah lulusan dan pengangguran serta mampu menangkap peluang. Siswa mampu menentukan tujuan dan/atau cita-cita setelah lulus SMK, siswa mampu mengenali potensi diri yang dimiliki dan mengoptimalkannya. Siswa juga mampu membuat road map career bagi dirinya. Selain itu, siswa juga mampu dalam memilih kampus yang tepat sesuai dengan situasi dan kondisi pribadi siswa.

Abstract

Pengelolaan data siswa dan proses pendaftaran siswa merupakan aspek penting dalam dunia pendidikan. Dalam era digital, penggunaan teknologi informasi menjadi krusial untuk menjaga kualitas dan efisiensi pendidikan. Oleh karena itu, pengembangan sistem administrasi sekolah berbasis web menggunakan nestjs menjadi solusi yang efisien dan efektif. Penelitian ini mengusulkan pengembangan sistem informasi administrasi sekolah berbasis web dengan pendekatan RAD untuk meningkatkan efisiensi, aksesibilitas data siswa, dan kemampuan menyesuaikan sistem dengan perubahan yang terus-menerus. Metode RAD terdiri dari tahapan perencanaan persyaratan, workshop perancangan RAD, dan pelaksanaan. Hasil pengujian aplikasi menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi ini layak digunakan dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna. Dengan demikian, pengembangan sistem informasi administrasi sekolah berbasis web menggunakan nestjs diharapkan dapat memberikan solusi inovatif dan efisien dalam mengatasi permasalahan pengelolaan data siswa dan proses pendaftaran siswa.

Abstract

Teaching aids are used to explain the concept of science learning in the form of real objects. Along with the development of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), the specifications for teaching aids need innovation, especially digital access and Augmented Reality (AR) based virtualization, which are currently growing rapidly. This research aims to develop a solar system teaching aids with manipulative virtualization concrete and digital AR. The ADDIE Research and Development (R and D) model has been applied to achieve the objectives of this study. The stages of this research were carried out through the stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. This research has produced a solar system teaching aids with manipulative virtualization concrete and digital AR. The results of the validation of content experts are 88%, validation of media and technology experts are 86% and teacher or user responses are 88%. The three validations reached the very feasible criteria. The average percentage of the validation score is 87.33% or the criteria are very feasible. It is concluded that the solar system teaching aids with manipulative virtualization concrete and digital AR are valid to be used in science learning to improve the science concepts comprehensions, especially solar system.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui penerapan budaya organisasi yang dipersepsikan oleh karyawan, Kinerja karyawan yang dipersepsikan oleh karyawan dan pengaruh budaya organisasi terhadap kinerja karyawan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode explanatory research dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Lokasi penelitian pada PT. Putra Sinar Permaja (South Quarter). Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini 59 karyawan. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara dan kuesioner. Uji validitas isi dan konstruk dilakukan untuk menguji kevalidan instrument penelitian. Uji reliabilitas dilakukan untuk menguji kehandalan intrumen penelitian. Data yang diperoleh selanjutnya dilakukan analisis deskriptif dan analisis statistik inferensial dengan bantuan software SPSS Versi 25. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan budaya organisasi yang dipersepsikan oleh karyawan dan kinerja karyawan yang dipersepsikan oleh karyawan menunjukkan hasil yang baik. Hasil pengujian dengan  menggunakan tingkat signifikansi 0,05, nilai konstanta (a) adalah 7,950 dapat diartikan jika budaya organisasi nilainya adalah 0, maka kinerja karyawan  nilainya 7,950.  Nilai koefisien regresi variabel  budaya organisasi (b) bernilai positif yaitu 0,639. Artinya bahwa setiap peningkatan budaya organisasi  sebesar  1, maka kinerja karyawan  juga akan meningkat sebesar 0,639. Hasil pengujian hipotesis diketahui bahwa nilai t hitung 5,693 > t tabel 1,672029 maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima, artinya terdapat pengaruh antara budaya organisasi terhadap kinerja karyawan yang dipersepsikan oleh karyawan PT. Putra Sinar Permaja (South Quarter). Kata Kunci: Budaya Organisasi, Kinerja

Abstract

Many countries are transitioning from conventional energy to renewable energy sources. This transformation requires support through socialization and training activities targeting all sectors of society, including educators in schools. The Al-Hidayah Waqaf Foundation in Thailand is an educational institution with educators who have limited knowledge regarding the implementation of renewable energy as part of energy diversification efforts. Collaborative activities were conducted with the Al-Hidayah Waqaf Foundation in Thailand through socialization and training on renewable energy. The outcomes of these activities provided educators with increased knowledge, information, and perspectives on renewable energy.

Abstract

Indonesia implements the Merdeka Curriculum, which focuses on cultivating Pancasila education. The dimensions of the Pancasila student profile consist of critical and independent thinking, which are also found in the 21st-century skills, and STEM-based learning may be one of the solutions to improving the two dimensions. This research aims to unveil the impact of applying STEM-based interactive multimedia on vibrations and waves, particularly in improving students' critical thinking skills and learning independence. The method was experimental research with a nonequivalent group pretest-posttest design, in which the experimental class used STEM-based interactive multimedia while the control class used PowerPoints. Experts validated the multimedia and instrument before the implementation, and the effectivity was measured using the t-test. The results revealed that the multimedia effect on critical thinking skills scored 5.6763 t-count > 2.0025 t-table, while the impact on learning independence was 7.3462 t-count > 2.0025 t-table. The outcomes show significant differences between the experimental and control classes; therefore, we conclude that STEM-based interactive multimedia is effective in improving critical thinking skills and learning independence.

Abstract

STEM literacy is crucial in the 21st century, encompassing science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, allowing individuals to understand and apply conceptual knowledge to real-life problems. Evaluation of STEM literacy instruments is essential for improving the quality of STEM learning. This study aims to evaluate the STEM literacy test instrument using multidimensional Rasch analysis. This study employed a quantitative approach, including a description to validate the research instrument. The instrument consists of 22 items measuring science, technology, engineering, and mathematics literacy, focusing on elements, compounds, and mixtures. Participants included 259 eighth-grade students randomly selected from public junior high schools in Balongpanggang and Benjeng, Gresik, East Java. Data analysis employed a Rasch model with ConQuest programs. Results indicated that the multidimensional model had better-fit parameters than the unidimensional model and demonstrated that the item's validity and instrument's reliability meet requirements. The interaction between students' abilities and items revealed that most students have moderate to low STEM literacy abilities. Additionally, the analysis found no differential item functioning based on gender differences. This research indicates that multidimensional Rasch analysis helps evaluate STEM literacy test instruments so that valid and reliable instruments can provide accurate measurements in improving students' STEM literacy skills.

Abstract

Critical thinking skills are crucial in modern society. This research aims to provide a general overview of recent developments in research methods for measuring critical thinking skills in higher education. It is based on a bibliometric analysis of journal articles published in the Scopus database, with the goal of identifying scientific gaps and providing a reference for further research. The methodology employed includes bibliometric analysis using VOSviewer and Biblioshiny software. The results indicated a growing trend in research focused on measuring critical thinking skills. Several topics and keywords have emerged that could serve as a foundation for future studies, along with trends in research methods for assessing critical thinking skills in higher education. The research concluded that bibliometric analysis offers valuable insights into developing research on measuring critical thinking and its methods, paving the way for further investigations. Notably, topics related to undergraduate students, critical thinking skills, and active learning potentially yield significant novel contributions if explored in future research.

Abstract

The wedding industry, especially in the field of wedding decoration, is currently continuing to develop. This makes the competition between decoration vendors very tight. In order to survive, companies need to create the right marketing strategy. This study aims to determine the implementation of the right marketing strategy by a company that has survived for a long time in this industry. The research method uses qualitative descriptive analysis through interviews, direct observation, and documentation. Dusty Art Wedding Decoration is an international wedding decoration provider company that has been operating for more than 10 years in the city of Bandung. The marketing strategy is carried out effectively and efficiently by implementing a 4 P marketing mix. The products provided can be adjusted to the client's wishes, the prices offered are cheaper, distribution channels are carried out effectively, and promotions are both conventional and digital. Dusty Art still has the opportunity to increase its revenue by further optimizing digital marketing.
