Abstract

This study analyzes the impact of outpatient health services on the satisfaction of BPJS Health participants at the Huraba Community Health Center, East Angkola District in 2023. Factors including responsiveness, reliability, guarantee, care, and physical evidence of service are explored to determine their influence on patient satisfaction. The research method used is quantitative with a cross sectional study approach. Primary data was collected through questionnaires distributed to patients, while secondary and tertiary data were obtained from documentation and trusted sources. The results of the analysis show that the aspects of responsiveness, reliability, assurance and caring have a significant influence on patient satisfaction, while physical evidence does not show a strong correlation.

Abstract

Cervical cancer was a malignant disease of the cervix caused by infection with HPV (Human Papilloma Virus) which was spread through skin contact, mainly due to sexual activity. There were many risk factors that cause HPV infection. Generally, cervical cancer was only discovered at an advanced stage. The treatment for cervical cancer recurrent or metastases was chemotherapy. This study aimed to determined the profile of cervical cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy at the Abdoel Wahab Sjahranie Hospital Samarinda for the 2020-2021 period. The research design was descriptive observational with a cross-sectional approach by took affordable samples. The samples obtained as many as 95 samples. The results showed that the low-risk age (<35 years) were 6.3% and the high-risk age (≥ 35 years) 93.7%, with the mean age was 48.49 years; low education level were 33.7%, moderate 54.7%, and high 11.6%; patients who were nullipara 3.2%, primipara 13.7%, multipara 68.4%, and grande multipara 14.7%; single agent chemotherapy regimen 86.3% and combined agent 13.7%. The conclusion that most cervical cancer patients who undergoing chemotherapy were at high-risk age, moderate education level, multipara, and chemotherapy regimen single agent.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study is to ascertain the impact of tax planning, tax avoidance and corporate governance on firm value of manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange’s consumer products sector list in period 2016-2021. This study’s sampling strategy makes use of a purposive sample that 22 companies provided. Multiple linear regression analysis is the model analysis used in this study. There is a quantitative research method being applied. The result show that tax planning and corporate governance has positive significant effect on firm value, firm value is not significantly impact by tax avoidance and firm value is significantly impacted by tax planning, tax avoidance and corporate governance all at the same time. Companies that carry out efficient tax planning, appropriate tax avoidance and good corporate governance will produce high company profits so that the value of the company will increase.Keywords: Tax Planning, Tax Avoidance, Corporate Governance, Firm ValueABSTRAKPenelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk melihat pengaruh perencanaan pajak, penghindaran pajak dan corporate governance terhadap nilai perusahaan pada perusahaan manufaktur sektor industri barang konsumsi yang terdaftar di BEI Tahun 2016-2021. Teknik pengumpulan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling dan diperoleh sebanyak 22 perusahaan. Model analisis ini menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan pajak dan corporate governance memiliki pengaruh positif pada nilai perusahaan, penghindaran pajak tidak memiliki pengaruh pada nilai perusahaan dan secara simultan perencanaan pajak, penghindaran pajak dan corporate governance memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan pada nilai perusahaan. Perusahaan yang melakukan perencanaan pajak yang efisien, penghindaran pajak yang tepat dan corporate governance yang baik akan menghasilkan laba perusahaan yang tinggi sehingga nilai perusahaan akan meningkat.Kata Kunci: Perencanaan Pajak, Penghindaran Pajak, Corporate Governance, Nilai Perusahaan

Abstract

Asma adalah gangguan inflamasi kronik pada saluran nafas yang di tandai sengan serangan berulang seperti sesak nafas, resposivitas pada trakea, rangsangan multipel bronkus dengan manisfestasi penyumbatan jalan nafas yang luas, mengi (wheezing) dada terasa berat dan batuk terutama malam dan pagi hari. Tujuan; mengetahui dan menganalisis hubungan riwayat keluarga, pekerjaan, dan riwayat alergi pada penderita Asma Bronkhial Di Puskesmas Glugur Darat Medan Tahun 2021. Metode; Desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode Survei Analitik dengan pendekatan Cross Sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah penderita asma bronkhial yang berjumlah 51 responden. Pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah Total sampling, yaitu seluruh populasi dijadikan sampel yaitu sebanyak 51 responden. Hasil; Berdasarkan hasil analisa dengan menggunakan Uji Chi-Square test memperlihatkan bahwa nilai signifikan dengan faktor riwayat keluarga p-value (0,004), faktor pekerjaan p-value (0,003), dan faktor alergi p-value (0,004). Kesimpulan; secara statistik ada hubungan faktor predisposisi dan pencetus dengan serangan asma bronkhial Di Puskesmas Glugur Darat Medan Tahun 2021. Kepada penderita asma bronkhial diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang faktor riwayat keluarga, faktor pekerjaan dan faktor alergi dengan serangan asma.

Abstract

Pendidikan di sekolah dasar merupakan tahap kritis dalam membentuk pondasi akademik dan perkembangan sosial anak-anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi efektivitas strategi pembelajaran inovatif dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan fokus pada analisis studi kasus di beberapa sekolah dasar yang menerapkan strategi inovatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan guru dan siswa, observasi langsung, serta analisis dokumen terkait. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa berbagai jenis strategi inovatif seperti flipped classroom, pembelajaran berbasis proyek, dan cooperative learning berhasil meningkatkan motivasi dan partisipasi siswa, serta hasil belajar akademik mereka. Respons positif dari guru dan siswa terhadap metode-metode inovatif ini juga tercatat dalam penelitian ini. Diskusi mengenai temuan ini menunjukkan konsistensi dengan teori-teori pembelajaran seperti konstruktivisme dan teori pembelajaran aktif. Kesimpulannya, implementasi strategi pembelajaran inovatif memiliki implikasi yang signifikan bagi peningkatan kualitas pendidikan di sekolah dasar, dengan mempersiapkan siswa untuk menghadapi tantangan masa depan dengan lebih baik melalui pembelajaran yang lebih bermakna dan relevan.

Abstract

Background: Cigarettes are a major cause of avoidable deaths in society. A non-smoking area is a designated space that explicitly prohibits the manufacturing, sale, advertising, promotion, and/or use of cigarettes. The Subulussalam City Government has implemented Subulussalam Mayor Regulation Number 52 of 2016, which prohibits smoking in designated areas. The purpose of this study is to identify the factors that impact visitor compliance with the implementation of Regional Regulation Policy Number 52 of 2016, which pertains to non-smoking areas in Subulussalam City Hospital's BLUD. The study employed an analytical survey methodology, utilizing a cross-sectional approach. We selected a subset of 86 individuals using the incidental sampling approach from the overall population of 636 individuals. The data analysis included univariate, bivariate, and multivariate analysis techniques, together with logistic regression test statistics. Outcome: The logistic regression analysis revealed significant findings for the variable’s knowledge (p-value = 0.000), attitude (p-value =.009), and the role of health personnel (p-value =.001). Conclusion: The knowledge, attitudes, and duties of health workers influence the implementation of Regional Regulation Number 52 of 2016, which pertains to non-smoking areas. We anticipate that the hospital will enhance visitor awareness by disseminating information through healthcare professionals and using posters, banners, and other informational media. This will help visitors understand the potential hazards to the hospital's surroundings and adhere to the hospital's designated no-smoking zone.

Abstract

Nurses as professional staff in hospitals cannot avoid the risk of microbial contamination. Therefore, hand hygiene is crucial for nurses. The main cause of nosocomial infections in healthcare facilities is proper hand hygiene practices. In Indonesia, the nosocomial infection rate in hospitals reaches 15.74 percent, and globally, good hand hygiene can reduce nosocomial infection incidents by up to 30 percent. This study aims to analyze nurses' behavior regarding hand hygiene implementation in the initiative to prevent nosocomial infections in the inpatient ward of RS TK IV IM 07.01 Lhokseumawe. This research uses a quantitative method with a Cross-Sectional design. The study was conducted in the Inpatient Ward of RS TK IV IM 07.01 Lhokseumawe. The study population consists of all nurses working in the inpatient ward, totaling 65 people. The sampling technique involved the entire population, namely 65 respondents. Data collection was carried out through questionnaire completion. The collected data were then analyzed using SPSS with univariate, bivariate, and multivariate analyses. The research results show that 56 respondents (86.15 percent) correctly perform hand hygiene, while 9 respondents (13.85 percent) do not. The chi-square statistical test revealed that knowledge, attitude, and practice have a significant relationship with hand hygiene implementation with a p-value < 0.05. The results of the multiple logistic regression test show that practice with a sig value of 0.001 and Exp(B) 11.960. The conclusion of this study is that practice is the most dominant variable associated with nurses' hand hygiene implementation. Nurses are advised to always pay attention to hand hygiene in every medical activity to prevent nosocomial infections in hospitals.

Abstract

Latar belakang: pangan fungsional dapat berupa makanan atau minuman. Pangan fungsional lebih bersifat pencegahan terhadap penyakit, sedangkan obat lebih bersifat menyembuhkan penyakit. Minuman Fungsional Herbal Kaltim (MFHK) yang diracik dari bahan-bahan tumbuhan yang ada di Kaltim telah diketahui memiliki citra rasa yang enak dan memiliki aktivitas antioksidan yang kuat tetapi belum diketahui aktivitas vasodilatasi pada pembuluh darah dan keamanan pada penggunaan akut secara oral. Tujuan: mengeksplorasi MFHK pada kontraktilitas tonus pembuluh darah secara in vitro dan keamanan pada penggunaan akut secara oral. Metode: MFHK dikeringkan lalu diuji kontraktilitas pada pembuluh darah dengan menggunakan organ terpisah aorta tikus dengan endotel, hasil dinyatakan dalam bentuk persen tonus kontraktilitas aorta. Uji toksisitas akut peroral menggunakan tikus Wistar dan mencit Balb/c jenis kelamin jantan dan betina. Hasil: pada uji kontraktilitas aorta didapatkan secara berurutan dalam persen tonus kontraktilitas aorta pada konsentrasi ekstrak MFHK 0,04 mg/mL adalah (1,02 + 1,43) % dan kontrol (3,27 + 1,00) % dengan p>0,05; pada 0,08 mg/mL didapatkan (-1,39 + 1,41) % dan (4,50 + 1,14) % dengan p<0,05; 0,16 mg/mL didapatkan (-5,36 + 1,40) % dan (8,42 + 2,00) % dengan p<0,05. Dosis tunggal ekstrak 2 g/kgBB yang diberikan secara oral tidak didapatkan kematian pada tikus dan mencit jenis kelamin jantan dan betina. Kesimpulan: ekstrak MFHK memiliki aktivitas vasodilatasi pada pembuluh darah secara in vitro dan tidak toksik pada pemberian akut secara oral. Abstract

Background: aromatic ginger rhizome (Kaempferia galanga L.) is a member of Zingiberaceae family, has been known to have an antibacterial effect is used for everyday cooking spices, but the synergistic effect on broad spectrum antibiotics was unknown. Objective: this research was conducted to find out the synergistic effect of Kaempferia galanga L. Rhizome extract (KGR) on some broad-spectrum antibiotics against gram positive and negative bacterial pathogens in vitro. Method: KGR was taken from farmers in Samarinda City, East Kalimantan Province, Indonesia. Extraction by maceration with ethanol solvent. Antibacterial activity test of KGR ethanol extract, antibiotic and synergistic effect using Mueller-Hinton agar, Kirby-Bauer disc diffusion method on ampicillin, cefuroxime, chloramphenicol, ciprofloxacin, and meropenem antibiotics against Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli. Results were expressed in percentage increase of the inhibition zone. Statistical test with t-test, significantly different if p<0.05. Results: KGR ethanol extract showed increase the percentage of antibiotic inhibition zone, ampicillin being the highest and the weakest of ciprofloxacin in E. coli; meropenem being the highest and the weakest of ciprofloxacin in S. aureus, statistically significant different tests on antibiotic ampicillin (E. coli), meropenem and cefuroxime. Conclusion: KGR ethanol extract showed synergistic effect on antibiotic ampicillin (E. coli), meropenem and cefuroxime in S. aureus and E. coli.

Abstract

Diare hingga kini masih merupakan masalah kesehatan utama di Indonesia. Pemberian antibiotik merupakan salah satu upaya penatalaksanaan diare, namun belakangan terkendala masalah adanya resistensi terhadap antibiotik. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, maka upaya pencarian sumber antimikroba baru berbasis tumbuhan obat perlu dilakukan. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menguji potensi ekstrak daun karamunting (Melastoma malabathricum L.) yang secara tradisional digunakan etnis Dayak sebagai obat diare. Aktivitas antimikroba ekstrak tumbuhan diuji terhadap 5 bakteri standar; Escherichia coli ATCC 35128, Shigella sonnei ATCC 25931, Campylobacter jejuni ATCC 33291, Pseudomonas aeruginosa ATCC 15442, dan Enterobacter cloacae ATCC13047. Pengukuran aktivitas antimikroba dilakukan dengan disc diffusion method (Kirby-Bauer) dan pengukuran minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ekstrak daun M. malabathricum dapat menghambat pertumbuhan seluruh bakteri uji, dengan diameter zona hambat sebesar 12,3-16 mm dan MIC sebesar 2,3-13,3 mg/ml. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah ekstrak daun M. malabathricum berpotensi sebagai antidiare berdasarkan aktivitas antimikrobanya.
