Abstract

Abstract This research aims to determine the differences between learning using Whatsapp and Schoology web-based sites learning. The method used in this research is a quantitative type of quasi experiment design with non-equivalent pretest & postest group design. The sample in this study were students of Class X IPA 1 and Class X IPA 2. Data measurement is done by multiple choice tests with five answer choices and student questionnaires. The results of this research indicate that there are differences between class groups using Whatsapp and class groups using Schoology web-based sites learning, where class groups using Whatsapp have higher average scores than class groups Schoology web-based sites learning. This shows that Whatsapp media is more effectively to improve learning outcomes than Schoology web-based sites learning.  Keywords: Whatsapp, schoolgy, learning, emergencies.  AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya perbedaan antara pembelajaran dengan menggunakan Whatsapp dan pembelajaran dengan situs berbasis web Schoology. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif jenis quasi eksperiment dengan desain non-equivalent pretest & postest group design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X IPA 1 dan siswa kelas X IPA 2. Pengukuran data dilakukan dengan tes pilihan ganda dengan lima pilihan jawaban dan angket (kuisioner) siswa. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa adanya perbedaan antara kelompok kelas menggunakan Whatsapp dan kelompok kelas dengan situs berbasis web Schoology, dimana kelompok kelas menggunakan Whatsapp memiliki hasil nilai rata-rata yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelompok kelas dengan situs berbasis web Schoology. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa media Whatsapp lebih efektif digunakan dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar daripada dengan pembelajaran dengan situs berbasis web Schoology. Kata kunci: Whatsapp, schoolgy, pembelajaran, masa darurat.

Abstract

This article is intended to argue several things. The first is that the educational institutions can play two roles within the context of transmitting Islamic understanding; either to preach the tolerance or in contrast the radicalism. The second is that the teachers affiliated to certain radical movements often fall in to corrupt practices by abusing the school curriculum, which actually is aimed at providing guideline for the teachers of Islamic Religion in order to promote characters of students in line with the values of Indonesia Islam. The third is that the condition and the environment of schools tend to allow the room for the deployment process of radical movements in Indonesia. This article will explore issues on the relationship between school curriculum and radicalism, the transmission of Islamic understanding as well as possible solutions for overcoming the spread of radicalism. In conclusion, this article will reinforce ideas that teachers are the most important instruments within the curriculum implementation. In this regards, it is important to note that curriculum in its various forms is just a text and hence the teachers are the ones really determine the ways in which it is being read and interpreted. It is suggested then that there is a duty that should be performed by the government to strengthen their ideology based on the country national guidelines embraced by Muslims in Indonesia.

Abstract

Implementation of an integrated curriculum in UIN Maliki seeks to provide basic competencies of Islamic sciences as a characteristic of UIN, as well as the foun-dation for the development of fields of study are developed on existing majors. Study program ta'lim al-afkar al-Islamiyyah and ta'lim al-Qur’an not only dis-cuss the matter as Fiqh, Sufism, Aqeedah, but the study needs to be developed by taking the material Qur'an and Hadith relating to the development of science and technology. Basic Islamic knowledge can be used for students or faculty development studies field according to the respective department. The program not only as a prerequisite studies program at UIN Islamic subjects, but can be used to support other subjects. Ma'had tradition intended to form the character of students and develop Islamic culture on campus. Abstrak Implementasi kurikulum integratif di UIN Maliki Malang berupaya memberi-kan kompetensi dasar ilmu-ilmu keislaman sebagai ciri khas UIN, sekaligus se-bagai landasan bagi pengembangan bidang-bidang studi yang dikembangkan pada jurusan yang ada. Program kajian ta’lim al-afkar al-Islamiyyah dan ta’lim al-Quran tidak hanya membahas materi seperti fiqh, tasawuf, aqidah, tetapi kajian perlu dikembangkan dengan mengambil materi Quran dan Hadis yang berhubungan dengan perkembangan sains dan teknologi. Dasar ilmu keislaman tersebut dapat digunakan mahasiswa atau dosen untuk pengembangan bidang kajian sesuai dengan jurusannya masing-masing. Program kajian tidak hanya se-bagai prasyarat memprogram mata kuliah keislaman di UIN, akan tetapi bisa digunakan sebagai penunjang mata kuliah lainnya. Tradisi ma’had ditujukan un-tuk membentuk karakter mahasiswa dan mengembangkan kultur Islami di kam-pus.

Abstract

Indonesia, with its diverse social, cultural and geographical variety, is one ofthe biggest multicultural societies in the world. This diversity ?when misused- can causemany problems such as corruption, collusion, nepotism, poverty, violence, damage toenvironment, separatism, and human right violation. Vis-?-vis this, multicultural educationsuggests that diversity of ethnicity, culture, language, religion, society, gender, intellectualacumen and age can in fact be used to create inclusive pluralism through sufficientstrategy and efficient concept of education. In practical terms, what is required from ateacher in this whole concept of education is not only to be able to teach his/her subjectmatter, but also to implant the multicultural and inclusive values such as democracy,humanism, and pluralism. In the end, what this approach can achieve is to produce theout-put that has not only the academic skill in his/her specialization, but also the ability toadopt and apply the norms of pluralism which will lead him/her to be more tolerant andunderstanding toward diversity and differences.

Abstract

This article deals with the foundational base for integration of sciences trough interdisciplinary Islamic studies, with particular reference to UIN Malang and Surabaya. There are eleven IAINs/STAINs which have been transformed into UIN, each university has their own concept of developing Islamic knowledge. UIN Malang has the concept of pohon ilmu (the tree of sciences) and UIN Surabaya has the concept of integrated twin towers with three pillars. Although different in developing the concept, the two universities share the same perspective of perceiving the relation between general and religious sciences. The integration of science does not refer to the classification of its subject, but rather to the object of knowledge so that religious values can be transformed into different disciplines. It is hoped that in the long term UIN?with the foundation of the Qur??n and H}ad?th?can motivate the emergence of new sciences as blessing for the universe, or at least give new alternatives for the existing sciences, such as Islamic economics. The integration of sciences also needs to be articulated in learning models which are developed while emphasizing harmony between the intellectual tradition of higher education and local tradition of pesantrens.

Abstract

Several cases of juveniles have to some extent dominated mass media news recently and this worrying reality is contradictory to the purpose of education that teenagers are expected to achieve. In an attempt to solve this problem, various efforts have been made by educators and one of them is to promote prophetic-based education. This study was aimed at investigating prophetic education at Madrasa Muallimin/Muallimat (MMA) Bahrul Ulum Tambak Beras, Jombang. This research is qualitative descriptive using models of Miles and Huberman analyses. The data collected were analyzed through several steps namely reduction, presentation, and data verification. The results showed that the prophetic education was applied in MMA through internalizing Islamic values for students in their learning process. When it comes to internalizing values, MMA referred and addressed the local culture to cultivate for students. This process has been built since the establishment of MMA so that it has built students’ character which in turn gradually form the identity of the MMA among the society where it exists.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the video-based ASSURE model learning on Al-Qur'an Hadith material in madrasas. In this study, the method used is R&D (Research and Development). The background of using this model is as a solution to the needs of students for innovative learning in this pandemic era, where students must be able to explore and master the material using the internet technology in online learning. For this reason, an educator is required to have competence in designing effective learning models to support the right teaching and learning process. ASSURE is a simple learning design that can be used to create an effective, efficient, and interesting learning so that it is very relevant to use for students at the Ibtidaiyah Madrasah level. The result of the study showed that there was a significant change in the increase in student interest in learning between before and after using learning video media. At the pre-test stage, the achievement of learning outcomes was only 68, but at the post-test stage it increased to 81. Thus, the ASSURE learning model based on video learning was very effective in increasing the learning interest of madrasah ibtidaiyah students.

Abstract The world is shocked by a global pandemic, known as covid-19 (Corona Virus Diseases-19). Almost all affected countries, including Indonesia. It affects all aspects of life, including education in Indonesia.Pemerintah enforce policies to work from home(WorkFromHome),worship at home, and learn at home. So that Teaching and Learning Activities (KBM) are replaced using online systems .  The application oflearning electronic(E-Learning) makes educators think seriously about the learning media that will be used. Various methods are used by Madrasas to facilitate these needs. Abstract

Some PTAINs develop a Ma’had in their campuss. This article is aimed at analyzing the integration of curiculum of UIN Maliki into those of its Ma’had which is called correlated curriculum model. Following this model, students of the Ma’had have to take several steps to complete their study. They have to obtain a certificate of completion of ta‘līm al-afkar al-Islāmī and ta‘lim al-Qur’ān which is required for enrolling in the Islamic studies program and taking comprehensive exam. The Ma’had applies Qur’anic-based learning system. This system maps the concept of science and the religious knowledge, integrates the concept of science and theose of the religious knowledge and elaborates the Qur’anic verses scientifically. The ma’had maintains the tradition of congregational pray, recitation and memorization of the Qur’an and promotes infaq and ṣadaqah. All these are to develop the Islamic culture among the academic community at UIN Malang.

Abstract

The essence of the title is an innovative inspiration for al-Dinul Islamic education with mobile learning quizizz at SMA SHAFTA Surabaya towards covid-19, the procedure for examining the culture of giving birth to procedures for changing policies as well as numbers covering a combination of teachers and students. In this combination, the teacher and student have other capacities and desires. Therefore, teachers and students have an appropriate understanding, there is feedback to realize educational procedures (transferring knowledge, levels, and skills as desired). Problems are always proven when education is running, not only for teachers but also for students. In this study, researchers focused on: 1) What are the problems of Islamic Education Teacher at SHAFTA SMA Surabaya? 2) How are the efforts to solve the problems of Islamic Education Teachers in SMA SHAFTA Surabaya?
