Abstract

One of the main factors causing flooding in an urban area is rainfall intensity. Perhaps this research has been widely discussed in other studies, but this research was conducted in an area with rainfall characteristics that are different from other areas, so this research is expected to provide further information for flood management and water structure design in related areas. The purpose of the research is to obtain and compare rain intensity methods in order to select a method that is suitable for rainfall characteristics in the sukarame area.  The short-term intensity calculation method uses the Mononobe method because this method only requires maximum daily rainfall data. The calculation of rain intensity approach uses Talbot and Sherman methods to find the appropriate rain intensity method. The results showed that high-intensity rain lasts for a short duration. From the comparison results, different rain intensity analysis results were obtained, this may be due to the use of different settings from each method. It is concluded that the Mononobe method with the Sherman equation is most suitable for rainfall characteristics. Key words : Rainfall Intensity, Mononobe, Talbot, Sherman, IDF Curve.

Abstract

Beton pada usia dini mengalami deformasi termal akibat panas yang dihasilkan oleh reaksi hidrasi semen. Deformasi ini dapat menyebabkan keretakan pada beton. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh panas hidrasi semen terhadap perilaku deformasi pada kolom beton usia dini. Penelitian dilakukan secara eksperimental pada 3 sampel beton kolom berukuran 15 cm × 15 cm × 100 cm dengan kuat tekan rencana 20,75 MPa, menggunakan portland composite cement (PCC). Sampel ditutup dengan styrofoam segera setelah pengecoran. Penelitian ini mempelajari perilaku kolom beton dan suhu di dalamnya menggunakan alat embadded vibrating wire strain gauge yang ditanam pada tiap sampel. Posisi EVWSG berada pada 45 cm dari bagian bawah benda uji. Pengamatan dilakukan selama 24 jam dengan rentang setiap 15 menit. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perilaku deformasi dan perubahan suhu dalam beton kolom memiliki pola yang mirip. Nilai minimum dan maksimum deformasi dan suhu dalam beton secara berurutan terjadi pada umur 0 jam dan 7,75 jam sebesar 5,4000E-0,7 (m/m) dengan suhu 29,5 ⁰C dan 5,6808E-0,5 (m/m) dengan suhu 36,1 ⁰C dan rata-rata deformasi sebesar 3,0341E-0,5 dengan rata-rata suhu 32⁰C. Kata kunci : Hidrasi semen, deformasi, kolom beton, suhu dalam beton.

Abstract

This study analyzes the revetment structure located at Muli Beach, South Lampung, through wave analysis occurring at the beach. The stability of the coastal protection structure, revetment, at Muli Beach is of utmost importance due to safety and security concerns for beach users. If the revetment is unstable, it can cause damage to the structure and potentially pose hazards to the users. The aim of this research is to assess the stability of the revetment structure against high waves occurring at the beach. The analysis method employed in this study utilizes wave forecasting with a return period of 10 years. The analysis also encompasses the examination of the components constituting the revetment structure at Muli Beach. The research findings indicate that the composition of the revetment structure is unstable against high waves. The wave forecasting analysis at Muli Beach resulted in a significant wave height, Hs = 1,02 m and a wave height at breaking point Hb = 1,82 m. Regarding the structure's components, there are several shattered stones > 2, indicating inconsistency with the existing literature. In the analysis of the revetment toe protection, a stability coefficient value of Ns^3 = 290 was obtained, which can be considered safe. Based on these analysis results, it is recommended to implement necessary measures to prevent the collapse of the revetment structure during high wave events. Keywords: revetment, waves, stability, beach.

Abstract

Land use is used to determine the effect of community activities on the land use of an area. Currently, the search for land use information can be reviewed periodically with remote sensing technology. The aim of the research is to map land use and provide information to the public regarding the condition of land use in the Way Pubian Sub-watershed area. The method used in processing land mapping data is supervised classification based on the training samples that have been collected. The supervised classification method is available in ArcGIS software. The method of analysis refers to descriptive analysis, by describing the land use maps obtained. The results of the map show that land use in the Way Pubian Sub-watershed consists of ponds of 1.57 Ha with a percentage of land of 0.01%, forest land of 6719.14 Ha of a percentage of 57.83%, open land area of 122.58 Ha of percentage 1.06%, settlements 823.2 Ha a percentage of 7.08%, Plantations 2783.11 Ha a percentage of 23.95% and paddy fields 1169.34 Ha with a land percentage of 10.06%. Compared to Landsat imagery, map making is more effective if using high-resolution imagery, then Google Earth imagery is used as data processing material. The conclusion obtained by processing data with ArcGIS software helps in mapping land use, obtaining the area and percentage of land use. The percentage results show that the largest land use is forest land and the smallest land area is pond land.Keywords: map, land use, watershed, GIS, imagery

Abstract

The planning of a railway bridge over the river is carried out by analyzing the hydraulic factors on the river in accordance with PM No. 60 of 2012 concerning Technical Requirements for Railway Lines. Hydrological and hydraulics analysis was carried out using the HSS Nakayasu method and the HEC-RAS v5.0.7 application program. This study aims to analyze the height of the flood water level based on hydraulic factors on the Way Tipo River and to design a guard height limit (freeboard) railway bridge based on the previously calculated water surface elevation results. Hydraulic analysis and high maintenance planning (freeboard) railway bridge (BH-102 KM. 53 + 778) on the Way Tipo Bekri River, Central Lampung Regency, resulting in flood discharge values for 50 and 100 year return periods of 742,281 m respectively3/s and 854,431 m3/s, the flood water level (MAB) is +45,38 m and +45,51 m, as well as the freeboard the length of the bridge is 1,32 m for the 50 year return period and 1,19 m for the 100 year return period in terms of the difference between the flood water level and the bottom girder of the bridge. It was concluded thatfreeboard The obtained railroad bridge meets the planning criteria, namely at least 1 meters from the bottom girder of the bridge to the flood water level.Key words : railway bridge, hydrology, hydraulics, HSS Nakayasu, HEC-RAS. Perencanaan jembatan kereta api di atas sungai dilakukan dengan menganalisa faktor hidrolika pada sungai sesuai dengan PM No.60 Tahun 2012 tentang Persyaratan Teknis Jalur Kereta Api. Analisis hidrologi dan hidrolika dilakukan menggunakan metode HSS Nakayasu dan program aplikasi HEC-RAS v5.0.7. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tinggi muka air banjir berdasarkan faktor hidrolika pada Sungai Way Tipo serta merancang batas tinggi jagaan (freeboard) jembatan kereta api berdasarkan hasil elevasi muka air yang telah dihitung sebelumnya. Analisis hidrolika dan perancangan tinggi jagaan (freeboard) jembatan kereta api (BH-102 KM. 53 + 778) pada Sungai Way Tipo Bekri Kabupaten Lampung Tengah menghasilkan nilai debit banjir untuk kala ulang 50 dan 100 tahun masing-masing sebesar 742,281 m3/s dan 854,431 m3/s, elevasi muka air banjir (MAB) sebesar +45,38 m dan +45,51 m, serta nilai freeboard jembatan adalah 1,32 m untuk kala ulang 50 tahun dan 1,19 m untuk kala ulang 100 tahun ditinjau dari selisih antara elevasi muka air banjir dengan gelagar terbawah jembatan. Disimpulkan bahwa freeboard jembatan kereta api yang diperoleh sudah memenuhi kriteria perencanaan yaitu minimal 1 meter dari gelagar terbawah jembatan terhadap muka air banjir. Abstract

This study aims to find out how good the cardiorespiratory endurance level of the SMA Negeri 22 Makassar futsal team is. This research is a quantitative descriptive research, the test technique used to collect data is the Multistage Fitness Test. The population in this study was 25 futsal team players at SMA Negeri 22 Makassar, the sample to determine the population used purposive sampling. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistics in the form of percentages. The prevalence of "fair" (moderate) fitness levels among players under the age of 18 in the futsal team of SMA Negeri 22 Makassar indicates the need for a targeted training program to improve their cardiorespiratory endurance. With 62.5% of respondents falling into this category, this shows the potential to increase their fitness levels to achieve better performance on the field. Identifying factors contributing to lower fitness levels among the 37.5% of players categorized as “poor” (poor) may provide valuable insight for developing personalized training interventions and plans to meet their specific needs. By addressing these fitness gaps, teams can potentially improve their overall performance and competitiveness in futsal tournaments. A sufficient level of cardiorespiratory endurance is important in the sport of futsal, which involves fast movements, sudden changes in direction, and high intensity. By having a sufficient level of cardiorespiratory endurance, SMA Negeri 22 Makassar futsal players can maintain their performance during matches, reduce fatigue and minimize the risk of injury.

Abstract

Air limbah yang berasal dari produksi minyak wangi mengandung beberapa bahan kimia yang mencemari lingkungan. Penambahan koagulan adalah metode pengolahan air limbah untuk menghilangkan material organik dan padatan tersuspensi yang menyebabkan timbulnya kebauan dan kekeruhan. Dengan menggunakan metode jar test, penambahan precipitants non-kuantitatif ke instalasi pengolahan air limbah (IPAL) dapat disesuaikan. Tujuan pengujian adalah menentukan pH dan kondisi optimum koagulan polyalumunium chloride (PAC) dalam pengujian dengan metode jar test berdasarkan pengurangan Total Suspended Solid (TSS) dalam limbah menggunakan metode statistik respon permukaan. Berdasarkan pengujian yang telah dilakukan, koagulan PAC memiliki kondisi optimum pada pH efluen sebesar 7,5 dengan dosis koagulan yang optimum sebesar 142,42 mg/l. Nilai efisiensi berdasarkan hasil pengujian parameter TSS sebesar 53,75%. Pengujian ini menunjukkan bahwa koagulan PAC memiliki efisiensi yang cukup tinggi dalam menurunkan nilai TSS. Abstract

Hipertensi merupakan suatu kedaan dimana terjadi peningkatan tekanan darah secara abnormal dan terus menerus pada beberapa kali pemeriksaan tekanan darah. Hipertensi dapat diatasi dengan nonfarmakologi salah satunya dengan jus tomat. Jus tomat mengandung kalium yang dapat menurunkan tekanan darah sistolik dan diastolik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh jus tomat terhadap penurunan tekanan darah pada lansia diDusun Krestal Desa Torjun. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian Pre-experiment designs dengan rancangan one group pretest-postest. Sampel sebanyak 39 lansia diambil dengan menggunakan teknik total sampling. Variabel independen pada penelitian ini adalah pengaruh jus tomat dan variabel dependen adalah penurunan tekanan darah pada lansia dengan hipertensi. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi tekanan darah dan menggunakan sypgmomanometer air raksa. Data yang diperoleh selanjutnya dianalisa dengan uji Paired T Test dan diartikan bermakna jika derajat kemaknaan (p < 0,05) untuk mengetahui adanya penurunan rerata tekanan darah sebelum sistolik 149,36 diastolik 88,21 mmHg dan rerata susudah sistolik 138,72 diastolik 82,31 mmHg tekanan darah pada lansia dengan hipertensi. Hasil uji penurunan tekanan darah pada lansia denganhipertensi menunjukan nilai derajat kemaknaan. p=0,000 yang artinya ada pengaruh jus tomat terhadap penurunan tekanan darah pada lansia. Hipertensi dapat diatasi dengan pengobatan nonfarmakologi salah satunya dengan terapi jus tomat karena tomat mengandung kalium yang tinggi untuk menyeimbangkan kadar natrium dalam tubuh sehingga dapat menurunkan tekanan darah

Abstract

Various industrial activities produce heavy metals as by-products or wastes. Lead is a metal trace element from sewage disposal, vehicle fumes, and atmospheric emissions from industrial activities. Mango seeds are composed of cellulose, lignin, and hemicellulose, which have many potential binding groups. Mango seeds, which are often considered waste, can be utilized as a low-cost biosorbent due to their various functional groups, such as hydroxyl, carboxyl, carbonyl, alcohol, amide, and aromatic groups. Mango seed are organic waste with potential as low-cost biosorbent for heavy metals removal. The purposes of the study are: (1) to explore the optimum condition of biosorbent in absorbing heavy metal species (Pb (II)), and (2) to analyze the adsorption model of synthetic waste containing Pb(II). Mango seeds have a considerable potential to be used as a biosorbent to absorb heavy metal ions. The optimum conditions for Pb2+ ion adsorption is at pH 6 with contact time 70 minutes, and concentration of biosorbent 2.0 g/L. Adsorbate adsorption follows the Freundlich model, and adsorption occurs only in a few surface layers. The kinetic parameters of adsorbent satisfied pseudo-second-order reaction. The optimum adsorption capacity (qm) of mango seed biosorbent in absorbing Pb ions is 43.86 mg/g.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country affected by the El Nino and La Nina climate anomalies. The provinces of Aceh, Central Kalimantan, and Maluku are three regions representing parts of Indonesia that have a variety of rainfall distribution and climatic conditions. This research was conducted to determine the influence of the El Nino and La Nina climate anomalies on these three regions by looking at the areas that have a dominant influence due to these climate anomalies. The research used BMKG Indonesia rainfall data with a total of 16 rainfall stations and a data range of 22 years. The methods used for modeling are the Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) and Lomb Periodogram to obtain rainfall spectrum data. Then, the amplitude value was obtained, and a comparison of the data from the two methods was carried out to determine the recurrence value and the area with the highest impact due to climate anomalies. The results of data analysis according to the FFT and Lomb Periodogram showed that the highest affected area was the eastern part of Indonesia, namely Maluku Province, with the dominant frequency according to the FFT method being 5.61 years with a PSD of 7.67 mm2 and the Lomb Periodogram 6.06 years with a PSD of 18.64 mm2. Based on the average PSD value, using both FFT and Lomb Periodograms, it also shows that the influence of El Nino and La Nina is greatest in the eastern part of Indonesia; as you move towards the west, this influence decreases. The smallest influence occurred in western Indonesia. This shows that the influence of ENSO is more dominant than the influence of IODM.
