Abstract

This study aims to develop a creative and contextual scrapbook-based learning model suited to the characteristics of MI students, and to examine its effectiveness in improving motivation and conceptual understanding. The need for innovative learning media arises because existing visual media have not sufficiently integrated cognitive, affective, and character-building aspects. The Research and Development (R&D) method was employed through stages of needs analysis, model design, expert validation, and limited trials. The research subjects consisted of education experts, MI teachers, and 26 fourth-grade students at MI NU An Nur Purworejo. The instruments used included expert validation sheets, observation sheets, questionnaires, and concept-understanding tests. The hypothesis tested whether the scrapbook significantly improved students’ understanding. The results showed an increase in pretest–posttest scores, excellent model implementability, and positive responses from both students and teachers. These findings indicate that scrapbook functions not only as a visual medium but also as a learning model that promotes active engagement and supports the internalization of character values through the SQ–IQ–EQ framework. This study contributes to the development of innovative learning models in MI and emphasizes the importance of integrating creative visual media to enhance the quality of learning.

Abstract

Rainfall data is vital for water resource systems and natural disaster management. It is required to have complete data to know the needs and structural requirements. However, in reality, plenty of cases of missing or broken rainfall data happened due to specific circumstances. To estimate missing rainfall data, several methods can be used, such as the Arithmetic Mean Method, Normal Ratio Method, Inversed Square Distance Method, and Modified Method. This study analyzed and compared Pearson's Correlation Coefficient and Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) among the methods. The result indicates that based on Pearson's Correlation Coefficient, the Modified Inversed Square Distance Method tends to be the best method for estimating missing rainfall data in the Tanggamus Regency. Several factors contribute to Pearson's Correlation Coefficient, such as rainfall data consistency and the elevation of stations used. Otherwise, based on the Mean Square Error, the Modified Arithmetic Mean Method is the best to use. This research also indicated that Pearson's Correlation Coefficient is better for evaluating missing data than RMSE.

Abstract

The presence of green spaces in urban areas is a critical issue for Indonesian local authorities, prompting various initiatives aimed at achieving effective and high-quality urban growth. As stipulated by Spatial Planning Regulation No. 26 from 2007, it is mandated that each city must allocate 30% of its total area for green open spaces to foster a productive, secure, pleasant, and sustainable urban setting, with a minimum standard consisting of 20% public green areas and 10% private green areas. This research employs two methods for assessing vegetation density, specifically NDVI and SAVI. These two indices play significant roles in vegetation examination, thus employing both indices is intended to address each method’s limitations, with the expectation that they will yield precise vegetation mapping based on comparative findings. The ultimate area identified for green open spaces is 77.97 hectares, while the green space map for Metro City, derived from the Metro Regional Planning Agency, indicates a total of 110.82 hectares. This produces a percentage discrepancy of 0.70, or 70%. The two maps reveal a disparity between the Research RTH and Bappeda RTH results. The data indicates that the Green Open Space in Metro City spans an area of 110.82 hectares. The NDVI method categorizes Green Open Space with a minimum value range of -0.16 to 0.25. Meanwhile, the SAVI method classifies Green Open Space within a minimal value range of 0.36 to 0.52. Nevertheless, this situation has not been fully optimized due to the presence of rice fields and remained vegetative land cover being recorded. Following the overlay analysis of the Vegetation Density Map, Land Cover, and Rice Fields, rice paddies and urban areas are no longer recognized as Green Open Spaces. Therefore, the Green Open Space in Metro City for the year 2022 is finalized at 77.97 hectares.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mensosialisasikan dan memperkenalkan olahraga beach handball kepada mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Keolahragaan dan Kesehatan (FIKK) Universitas Negeri Makassar (UNM). Beach handball merupakan salah satu cabang olahraga turunan dari handball yang dimainkan di atas pasir pantai, dengan karakteristik permainan yang dinamis, atraktif, serta menuntut kemampuan teknik, fisik, dan kreativitas yang tinggi. Meskipun olahraga ini telah berkembang pesat dan dipertandingkan secara resmi di berbagai ajang internasional, termasuk kejuaraan dunia dan multi-event olahraga, popularitas beach handball di Indonesia masih tergolong rendah dan belum banyak dikenal, khususnya di kalangan mahasiswa dan masyarakat umum. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian ini dirancang dengan menggunakan pendekatan edukatif dan partisipatif. Metode yang digunakan meliputi penyampaian materi teoritis dan praktik lapangan. Pada sesi teori, peserta diberikan pemahaman mengenai sejarah perkembangan beach handball, perbedaan antara handball indoor dan beach handball, peraturan permainan, sistem penilaian, serta pengenalan teknik dasar dan posisi pemain. Materi disampaikan secara interaktif melalui diskusi dan tanya jawab guna meningkatkan pemahaman dan ketertarikan peserta terhadap olahraga ini. Selanjutnya, kegiatan dilanjutkan dengan praktik langsung di lapangan pasir, di mana peserta diberikan kesempatan untuk mempraktikkan teknik dasar beach handball seperti passing, shooting, catching, footwork, serta gerakan bertahan (defensive movement) sesuai dengan peraturan permainan yang berlaku. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh sebanyak 45 mahasiswa FIKK UNM yang berasal dari berbagai program studi, sehingga mencerminkan keterwakilan lintas disiplin dalam bidang keolahragaan dan kesehatan. Hasil evaluasi kegiatan yang dilakukan melalui post-test menunjukkan bahwa tingkat pemahaman peserta terhadap materi yang disampaikan mencapai 85%, yang mengindikasikan bahwa kegiatan sosialisasi ini berjalan dengan efektif. Melalui kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini, diharapkan beach handball dapat semakin dikenal dan diminati di lingkungan kampus, khususnya di Fakultas Ilmu Keolahragaan dan Kesehatan UNM. Kegiatan ini juga diharapkan menjadi langkah awal dalam pengembangan beach handball secara berkelanjutan, baik melalui pembentukan unit kegiatan mahasiswa, program pembinaan, maupun integrasi dalam kurikulum pembelajaran olahraga. Lebih lanjut, pengenalan beach handball sejak dini di lingkungan akademik diharapkan dapat membuka peluang lahirnya atlet-atlet potensial yang mampu berprestasi di tingkat regional, nasional, hingga internasional.

Abstract

Pertumbuhan kendaraan listrik di Indonesia terus meningkat, namun ketersediaan Stasiun Pengisian Kendaraan Listrik Umum (SPKLU) masih terbatas. Di Kota Bandar Lampung hanya terdapat 10 SPKLU yang sebagian besar terkonsentrasi di pusat kota, sehingga wilayah pinggiran belum terlayani dengan baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan lokasi optimal pembangunan SPKLU serta mengevaluasi keterjangkauan layanannya melalui analisis spasial. Metode penelitian menggabungkan Sistem Informasi Geografis (SIG) dengan algoritma Multi-Layer Perceptron (MLP). Analisis mempertimbangkan tiga parameter utama, yaitu kedekatan dengan permukiman (shared residential), jalan utama (en-route), dan pusat aktivitas (destination). Model MLP menghasilkan peta area optimal di wilayah pusat maupun luar kota, sedangkan analisis buffer digunakan untuk menilai jangkauan pelayanan SPKLU eksisting. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dua keluaran utama, yaitu peta sebaran lokasi optimal dan 51 titik SPKLU baru yang direkomendasikan di seluruh wilayah Kota Bandar Lampung. Sebaran tersebut menunjukkan pemerataan infrastruktur dengan minimal dua titik di setiap kecamatan, mencakup area permukiman padat, kawasan pendidikan, jalur transportasi utama, serta zona kegiatan ekonomi. Analisis buffer memperlihatkan bahwa jangkauan pelayanan SPKLU optimal telah mencakup hampir seluruh wilayah dengan radius rata-rata di bawah 2,5 km, sehingga akses masyarakat terhadap fasilitas pengisian daya meningkat secara signifikan. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya pemerataan infrastruktur energi bersih untuk mendukung transisi menuju sistem transportasi rendah emisi di perkotaan.

Abstract

As the population continues to grow, the demand for clean water has risen significantly, requiring Regional Drinking Water Companies (PDAMs) to ensure optimal service by maintaining quality, quantity, and continuity. This study focuses on projecting the clean water demand for PDAM Way Rilau in the DMA G26 service area of Sukabumi Village over the next 20 years, based on current customer data, while also evaluating the adequacy of its production capacity through 2044. Additionally, the research includes a simulation and assessment of the existing water distribution network in 2024 using Epanet version 2.2. The methodology involves projecting customer growth using arithmetic, geometric, and exponential models, followed by calculations of future water demand and analysis of the pipeline system. Results indicate that the projected maximum daily water demand in 2044 will reach 603,245 liters per day (6.982 L/s), while the current production capacity of 1,143,936 liters per day (13.24 L/s) is adequate for long-term needs. However, Epanet simulations identified several technical issues, such as low pressure at nodes J372 and J370, high headloss in pipe Pi356, and below-standard flow velocity in 13 pipes. These issues were addressed by adjusting pipe diameters and increasing reservoir head, resulting in improved network performance under both normal and peak conditions.
