Abstract

The number of sufferers and deaths due to the COVID-19 virus is increasing both in Indonesia and various countries in the world. PHBS (Clean and Healthy Living Behavior) health protocol education in the community really needs to be improved as an effort to prevent the spread of the corona virus. The purpose of this community service is to increase PHBS knowledge in facing the new normal period at SMPIT Al Qudwah, Musi Rawas Regency. The method of implementing activities online is through the zoom application. Participants fill out a Pre-Test using the google form application before the activity takes place and a Post Test immediately after the activity takes place. The community service participants were 42 grade IX students. The result of this activity was an increase in PHBS knowledge among students of SMP IT AL-QUDWAH, Musi Rawas Regency.

Abstract

Accident refers to an event that occurs unintentionally. For example, traffic accidents, accidents with sharp objects and so on. The word accident is taken from the root word accident. The addition of the affixes "to"... and ..."an" indicates bad luck that has happened or befalls. Technically, "accident" is not included in an event caused by someone's fault, First Aid is an act of help given to the victim with the aim of prevent the situation from getting worse before the victim gets treatment from official medical personnel.So this First Aid (PP) is not a real treatment for a disease diagnosis so that the sufferer recovers from the illness he is experiencing. First aid is usually given by people around the victim, some of whom will contact the nearest health officer. This help must be given quickly and precisely because the wrong treatment can result in bad, physical disability and even death. Schools as institutions that have been trusted by parents of course also have a responsibility in responding to their students. However, the reality is that there are often accidents in the community. school area either in the field of transportation or in other fields. This accident problem often interferes with the activities of students in teaching and learning activities so that it is appropriate for schools to make policies to deal with accidents in the school area.The main purpose of first aid in an accident is to keep the accident victim or patient alive, make the victim's condition stable, and avoid more severe disability, reduce pain, discomfort and anxiety. First aid measures in accidents that are carried out properly will reduce disability or suffering and even save the victim from death, but if first aid measures in an accident are not carried out properly, it can actually worsen the consequences of the accident and even kill the victim. It is very important to know the stages of giving first aid, especially in life-threatening situations, for example where the heart and breathing have stopped, bleeding, choking, and poisoning.

Abstract

Media pembelajaran di MTsN 2 Banda Aceh masih jarang digunakan, terutama materi klasifikasi makhluk hidup. Akibatnya, siswa kurang semangat dan tidak fokus saat belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan desain media interaktif berbasis articulate storyline serta untuk menganalisis hasil validasi media dan materi. Rancangan penelitian menggunakan metode R&D (Research and Development) dengan model pengembangan Allesi dan Trollip. Subjek dalam penelitian adalah 2 ahli media dan 2 ahli materi. Objek penelitian adalah uji kelayakan media dan materi. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara dan validasi. Instrumen penelitian ini berupa lembar observasi, wawancara serta lembar uji kelayakan media dan materi. Analisis data kelayakan menggunakan rumus persentasi. Hasil kelayakan media memperoleh hasil sebesar 80% dengan kategori layak, hasil kelayakan materi memperoleh hasil sebesar 93,75% dengan kategori sangat layak. Hasil uji kelayakan keseluruhan memperolah hasil 86,87 dengan kategori sangat layak. Media ini potensial untuk membantu pembelajaran klasifikasi makhluk hidup yang abstrak, mempermudah pemahaman materi, dan meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa.Kata Kunci:  Articulate Storyline, Klasifikasi Makhkuk Hidup, Uji Kelayakan

Abstract

Sertifikasi halal merupakan proses mendapatkan sertifikat halal pada suatu produk yang melalui beberapa tahapan pemeriksaan, mulai dari data pelaku usaha (produsen), bahan produksi, proses produksi dan skema jaminan halal yang sesuai dengan standar Badan Penyelenggara Jaminan Produk Halal (BPJPH). Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan edukasi beserta pendampingan akan urgensi dari sertifikasi halal produk terhadap pelaku Usaha Mikro, Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) khususnya di Desa Keling Kecamatan Kepung Kabupaten Kediri dengan memberikan materi akan manfaat dan dampak sertifikasi halal serta dapat memberikan pengalaman mengenai alur pengajuan sertifikasi halal. Setelah observasi dilakukan, ditemukan sekitar 25 UMKM yang ada di Desa Keling yang masuk di bidang kuliner. Penelitian dilaksaksanakan mulai tanggal 10 Juli 2023 sampai 12 Agustus 2023 di desa Keling dengan melibatkan 25 Pelaku UMKM. Metode pengabdian masyarakat yang digunakan penulis adalah pendekatan Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) dengan mengembangkan aset atau sumber daya lokal yang dimiliki masyarakat desa Keling yaitu telah memiliki kelompok UMKM binaan desa. Hasil yang diperoleh dari pengabdian masyarakat berbasis research ini yaitu segala permasalahan terkait proses pengurusan sertifikasi halal yang dianggap lama dan rumit dapat teratasi. Dengan diperolehnya sertifikat halal untuk produk UMKM di desa Keling diharapkan dapat berdampak positif yang berkelanjutan untuk meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat setempat

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat ini difokuskan pada permasalahan di Pelayanan Administrasi Kependudukan Balai Desa Keling yang memiliki beberapa masalah antara lain kurangnya SDM, media penyebaran informasi yang kurang komprehensif, alur administrasi yang tidak efektif, dan ketidak sinkronan dokumen. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menyelesaikan masalah - masalah tersebut dengan pembuatan media sosial yang berfungsi membantu pelayanan administrasi kependudukan. Pengabdian masyarakat berbasis research ini menggunakan pendekatan Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) yaitu metode pendekatan dalam pengabdian masyarakat, yang berfokus pada pengembangan sebuah asset di sebuah komunitas. Metode ini memiliki enam tahapan pendekatan yakni (1) Discovery atau observasi (2) Dream atau impian (3) Design atau rancangan (4) Define atau menentukan (5) Destiny atau melaksanakan (6) Reflection atau refleksi. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa pembuatan media sosial efektif sebagai salah satu sarana penyelesai masalah pada pelayanan administrasi kependudukan. Hasil refleksi dan wawancara yang dilakukan setelah program kerja selesai dilakukan menunjukkan peningkatan kepuasan terhadap pelayanan administrasi kependudukan di Desa Keling

Abstract

The progress of modern times has led to increasing complexity in family issues, both from internal and external factors. Family resilience is a crucial instrument to counteract various negative impacts that may weaken family functions. This study aims to analyze the role of the Tribina program in strengthening family resilience in the Kampung Keluarga Berkualitas (KB) Mawar, Kelurahan 1 Ilir, Palembang. The research method employed is qualitative with a field research approach. Primary data were obtained through interviews, while secondary data were collected from literature, journals, and relevant documents. The data were analyzed descriptively and qualitatively using a deductive approach. The findings reveal that family resilience is measured through eight indicators as stipulated in Article 7 paragraph (2) of Government Regulation No. 87 of 2014, covering religious, socio-cultural, affection, protection, reproductive, socialization and education, economic, and environmental development functions. The Tribina program has been proven to significantly contribute to strengthening these eight family functions and is aligned with the concept of al-Mashalih al-Khams (religion, life, intellect, lineage, and wealth). Thus, the Tribina program serves as a key strategy to enhance family resilience while reinforcing sustainable family development.

Abstract

Pliek u, also known as patarana, is a traditional coconut oil produced by the people of Aceh, especially in Dayah Bubue Village, Pidie. The fermented oil from pliek u is often used by the villagers to be applied to itchy skin or wounds. It is necessary to isolate and identify the characteristics of isolates from pliek u and test isolates against carbohydrate fermentation in order to know the potential of pliek u isolates which are often used as seasonings for Acehnese cuisine. The purpose of this study was to identify the characteristics of fungal colonies found in the process of making pliek u, examine the physical factors of the substrate on fungal growth, and examine the results of carbohydrate fermentation tests. Research procedures: sampling at the research site in Dayah Bubue Village, Pidie, the process of isolating fungi from pliek u, culture purification, identification, and carbohydrate fermentation tests. The results of the research at the initial stage of fermentation found Soradia sp. and Curvularia sp., the final stage of fermentation found Soradia sp. and Microascus sp., pliek u stage found Mucor sp. Fungal characters in general large colonies, irregular shapes, round colonies, flat elevations, and notched margins. Changes in temperature and pH greatly affect the presence of pliek u. The five fungal isolates reacted positively to glucose and sucrose fermentation, but did not react positively to the lactose test.

Abstract

A typical food ingredient of the Aceh region, especially the western and southern, is Asam drien (language from the West Aceh region). Asam drien is made from durian fruit meat, usually due to the abundance of durian fruit, or because the durian fruit is of poor quality such as the taste of the bland fruit meat, then most of the people utilize the durian fruit into Asam drien which can be used as a seasoning for cooking. The purpose of this study was to identify the morphological characteristics of bacterial and fungal colonies in Asam drien processing, this study used a qualitative descriptive method for colony characteristics, and biochemical tests. The results of research on bacteria and fungi in Asam drien found 14 colonies from the entire fermentation both at home and in the laboratory, namely irregular and diffuse, elongated, round, and threaded shapes; colony color characteristics obtained only one color, namely cream color; characteristics of colony edges there are 5, namely: wavy, squiggly, smooth, serrated, and threadbare. Colony elevation characteristics obtained 2 forms, namely flat and raised. There are 2 types of colony surface characteristics, namely rough and smooth shiny. Then reisolated on selective media DeMan Rogosa Sharpe Agar (MRS Agar) for lactic acid bacteria. The results of observations found 11 colonies from the entire fermentation each consisting of 2 types of isolates Ka and Kb which are Gram-positive bacteria bacillus and coccus cell forms. As well as fungi that grow on Asam drien, namely the genus Rhizopus and the type of yeast found from the genus Saccharomyces. The catalase test on Asam drien bacteria is positive, has proteolytic, amylolytic, and cellulolytic potential, but is not able to hydrolyze fat and alcohol.

Abstract

One of the complementary treatments to reduce pain is lemongrass, which contains pharmacological and chemical effects and gives a spicy and warm effect, with bioactivity anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory. The aim of the study is describing the results of the nursing implementation of warm lemon grass compresses for older adults with rheumatoid arthritis with chronic pain in the working area of the Perumnas Public Health Center, Lubuklinggau City, in 2023. This research used case study method with two subjects with rheumatoid arthritis. It found that warm lemongrass compresses for five straight days showed decreased pain intensity before and after the intervention. The decrease in the pain intensity of subjects I and II from the pain scale 6, with moderate pain category, decreased to pain scale 3, with mild pain intensity category. Warm lemongrass compresses can reduce pain intensity in older adults with rheumatoid arthritis.

Abstract

This community service activity was motivated by the low level of knowledge and skills among the community, especially women's religious study groups, in conducting funeral rites. Many people consider funeral rites to be a fardhu kifayah (collective obligation) that only needs to be performed by some people, so these skills are not widely possessed. This activity aims to increase participants' knowledge and understanding of funeral procedures through a demonstration method combined with role play, discussion, and audio-visual media. The training was held at the Al-Mujahadah Mosque, Sialangmunggu Village, with 63 participants consisting of women who are members of the majelis taklim. Evaluation was carried out through pre-tests, post-tests, and hands-on practice. The results of the activity showed that the demonstration method was very effective in improving participants' understanding and skills related to funeral practices. Participants were able to independently practice bathing, shrouding, and praying for the deceased. This activity also fostered participants' confidence and social responsibility to be directly involved in funeral arrangements in their respective neighborhoods.
