Abstract

ABSTRACT Food taboo is a hereditary dietary taboo that is not necessarily true. The health problem that can occur due to the food taboo is the lack of nutrient intake for pregnant women. The prevalence of food taboo behavior at Pamarayan Health Center, Serang District, Banten in 2019 was 66%. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between food knowledge, education level, socio-cultural environment and history of health problems with food taboo behavior among pregnant women at Pamarayan Health Center. This study used a cross sectional study design by conducting interviews. The sample of this research was 136 pregnant women. Data was collected offline by implementing health protocols. Statistical test using the chi-square test. The results of the study show that pregnant women who behave in food taboo (64%), lack of food knowledge (72.8%), low education level (66.9%), good socio-cultural environment (59.6%) and a history of health problems (72.8%). Factors that have a relationship with food taboo behavior is food knowledge (OR=2,840), education level (OR=2,614), socio-cultural environment (OR=3,402) and a history of health problems (OR=2,428). The conclusiont is that there is a relationship between food taboo behavior with food knowledge, education level, socio-cultural environment and a history of health problems at Pamarayan Health Center. Suggestions for conducting counseling about the food taboo by involving local community leaders. Keywords: Food Taboo, Pregnant, Women ABSTRAK Food taboo merupakan suatu pantangan makanan terutama pada ibu hamil, secara turun temurun dan belum tentu kebenarannya, sehingga menyebabkan kurangnya asupan zat gizi. Prevalensi perilaku food taboo di Puskesmas Pamarayan, Kabupaten Serang, Banten tahun 2019 yaitu 66%. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan makanan, tingkat pendidikan, lingkungan sosial budaya dan riwayat gangguan kesehatan dengan perilaku food taboo pada ibu hamil di Puskesmas Pamarayan. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian cross sectional dengan melakukan wawancara. Sampel penelitian ini yaitu 136 ibu hamil. Pengambilan data dilakukan secara offline dengan menerapkan protokol kesehatan. Uji statistik menggunakan uji chi-square. Hasil penelitian menunjukan, ibu hamil yang berperilaku food taboo (64%), pengetahuan makanan kurang (72,8%), tingkat pendidikan rendah (66,9%), lingkungan sosial budaya baik (59,6%) dan riwayat gangguan kesehatan (72,8%). Faktor yang memiliki hubungan dengan perilaku food taboo ialah pengetahuan makanan (OR=2,840), tingkat pendidikan (OR=2,614), lingkungan sosial budaya (OR=3,402), dan riwayat gangguan kesehatan (OR=2,428). Kesimpulan ada hubungan antara perilaku food taboo dengan pengetahuan makanan, tingkat pendidikan, lingkungan sosial budaya dan riwayat gangguan kesehatan di Puskesmas Pamarayan. Saran melakukan penyuluhan mengenai food taboo dengan melibatkan tokoh masyarakat sekitar. Kata kunci: Tabu Makanan, Ibu Hamil

Abstract

Latar Belakang. Tidur merupakan salah satu kebutuhan fisiologis bagi manusia dan merupakan suatu keadaan alami yang terjadi karena perubahan status kesadaran, ditandai dengan penurunan pada kesadaran serta respon. Dewasa awal (mahasiswa) merupakan salah satu kelompok yang rentan terhadap gangguan masalah tidur karena memiliki aktivitas yang tinggi. Tidur yang tidak berkualitas dapat menurunkan kemampuan konsentrasi belajar, peningkatan berat badan, dan penyakit degeneratif. Tujuan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan asupan vitamin (B6, B12, Asam Folat), olahraga dengan kualitas tidur pada mahasiswa Universitas Esa Unggul. Metode. Rancangan penelitian menggunakan desain cross-sectional. Responden yang dipilih secara proporsi sampling berjumlah 75 orang. Analisis data menggunakan chi square dan regresi logistik ganda. Hasil. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa asupan vitamin (B6, B12, asam folat) responden pada penelitian kurang dari angka kecukupan gizi yang dianjurkan (AKG), dan tingkat olahraga pada responden tergolong kurang. Hasil uji statistik menyatakan bahwa ada hubungan asupan vitamin B6 dengan kualitas tidur (p<0,01), ada hubungan asupan vitamin B12 dengan kualitas tidur (p=0,05), tidak ada hubungan asupan vitamin asam folat dengan kualitas tidur, dan untuk variabel olahraga dengan kualitas tidur memiliki hubungan paling signifikan dibandingkan dengan variabel lainnya (p<0,01). Hasil analisis multivariat menunjukkan variabel yang dominan adalah olahraga dengan OR=0,127. Kesimpulan. Asupan zat gizi mikro (B6, B12, B9) pada mahasiswa Prodi Gizi tergolong kurang dari AKG dikarenakan minimnya daya beli makanan yang bergizi sehingga berpengaruh terhadap kualitas tidur yang buruk, hal ini juga berkaitan dari akibat kurangnya olahraga. Mahasiswa perlu memperhatikan asupan zat gizi mikro, olahraga, dan kualitas tidur agar tidak menimbulkan dampak negatif bagi kesehatan yang berkepanjangan.

Abstract

Latar Belakang. Tingkatan kognitif adalah tingkatan pengetahuan anak dalam kemampuan berpikir, mengingat sampai memecahkan masalah, sedangkan intelegensi (kecerdasan) merupakan tindakan terarah yang membutuhkan keterampilan dan kemampuan nalar yang baik untuk memecahkan masalah. Perkembangan otak berkaitan dengan kemampuan kognitif seseorang yang memiliki peranan penting terhadap prestasi dan keberhasilan dalam pendidikan. Asupan gizi dan status gizi yang normal dibutuhkan dalam pertumbuhan dan perkembangan optimal anak. Hasil survei menyatakan bahwa 34,3 persen anak usia sekolah di Indonesia memiliki kognitif rata-rata. Faktor yang memengaruhi perkembangan kognitif yaitu keturunan, kematangan biologis, pengalaman fisik, lingkungan, dan ekuilibrasi. Tujuan. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui perbedaan asupan energi, zat gizi makro, vitamin C, zat besi, seng, dan IMT/U berdasarkan tingkatan kognitif. Metode. Sampel yang diambil berjumlah 60 orang dengan desain cross-sectional. Asupan makanan diukur menggunakan food recall, IMT/U menggunakan timbangan dan microtoise, perkembangan kognitif menggunakan kuesioner. Uji statistik menggunakan t-test independent dan Mann Whitney. Hasil. Siswa dengan kognitif konkret 43 persen dan kognitif formal 57 persen. Rata-rata asupan energi yaitu 1292 kkal; triptofan 0,3 g; linoleat 2,6 g; linolenat 0,13 g; karbohidrat 178 g; vitamin C 6,3 mg; zat besi (Fe) 4,8 mg; seng (Zn) 4,9 mg; dan IMT/U -0.1 z-score. Variabel yang signifikan adalah asupan energi (p=0,0001), triptofan (p=0,032), linoleat (p=0,003), linolenat (p=0,044), karbohidrat (p=0,0001), zat besi (Fe) (p=0,032), seng (Zn) (p=0,009), dan IMT/U (p=0,038). Asupan vitamin C tidak signifikan dengan nilai p=403. Kesimpulan. Asupan energi, zat gizi makro, zat besi, seng, dan IMT/U yang memadai berpengaruh terhadap perkembangan kognitif siswa kelas 5 di SD Negeri Duri Kepa 13 Pagi Jakarta Barat. Siswa dengan asupan zat gizi dalam jumlah cukup dan IMT/U normal memiliki tingkatan kognitif lebih tinggi dibandingkan siswa yang memiliki asupan zat gizi dan IMT/U kurang.

Abstract

Latar belakang: Hasil penjaringan kesehatan tahun 2018 dilakukan pihak UKS SMPN 65 Jakarta Utara, diketahui 2.6% siswi kelas VII terduga anemia dan Tahun 2019 tahun ajaran baru kelas VII sebanyak 9.6% memiliki riwayat anemia. Tujuan penelitian untuk menganalisis Pengaruh Explanation Video dalam Pencegahan Anemia Remaja Putri Terhadap Pengetahuan dan Kepatuhan Konsumsi Tablet Tambah Darah di SMPN 65 Jakarta Utara. Penelitian dilakukan selama satu bulan, pada11 Desember 2019-10 Januari 2020. Metode: Desain penelitian ini adalah Quasi Eksperimen. Rancangan penelitian ini adalah pretest-posttest control group. Total populasi 380 siswi, total sampel 215 siswi. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik sampling non probalitias. Hasil: Analisis Uji Wilcoxon Signed Rank terdapat perbedaan tingkat pengetahuan dan kepatuhan konsumsi tablet tambah darah pada kelompok intervensi (p≤0,0001).Kelompok control sebelum dan sesudah intervensi tidak terdapat perbedaan tingkat pengetahuan dan kepatuhan konsumsi tablet tambah darah pada kelompok kontrol (p > 0,083). Kesimpulan: Ada pengaruh media explanation video dalam pencegahan anemia remaja putri terhadap pengetahuan dan kepatuhan konsumsi Tablet Tambah Darah di SMPN 65 Jakarta Utara. Background The results of health screening in 2018 conducted jointly with school public health of SMPN 65 North Jakarta, 2.6% of VII grade students were suspected of being anemia and the results of health screening in 2019 of the new academic year class VII were 9.6% who had a history of anemia. The purpose is to analyze the effects of explanation videoin prevention adolescent girls anemia on knowledge and compliance the consumption of iron supplement at sman 65 north jakarta. this research was conducted for one month, from  11 December 2019 to10 January 2020. Method The design on the research is Quasi Experiment. This research design is control grupwith a pretest and posttest.A total 380 students, a total sample of 215 students. Result Analysis of the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test p≤0.05.There were differences in the level of knowledge and compliance to the consumption of iron supplement in the intervention group (p ≤0,001). Control group before and after the intervention, there was in no difference in the level of knowledge and compliance the consumption of iron supplement in the control group (p> 0,083). Conclution There was an effects of health promotion with explanation video media in prevention anemiaadolescent girlson knowledge and compliance the consumption of iron supplement at SMPN 65 North Jakarta.

Abstract

Overweight and obesity are still the biggest health problem in Indonesia, especially for the current millennial generation. The concept of mindfulness and mindful eating can be one of the intervention strategies to overcome overweight and obesity in this modern era. The study aimed to develop and validate the online nutrition education video EMPIE (Emotion and Mind Power in Relationship with Eating) for millennials with overweight and obesity. This study uses a 3-step method, namely, development (development of EMPIRE online nutrition education video materials), validation (validating content and constructs by 10 experts and 3 millennial respondents with overweight/obesity), evaluation (evaluation stage is not carried out by researchers due to time constraints). For construct validation using Pearson correlation and content validation using Content Validity Ratio (CVR) and Item-Level Content Validity Index (I-CVI) ?0,80. Validation consists of content, objective, relevant, motivational and construct components such as language and writing, illustrations, and quality. The content and construct validation of the EMPIRE nutrition education video (1,2,3,4,5) by experts and millennial respondents with overweight was declared valid with an overall average value of CVI ? 0.80. The content and construct components in the EMPIRE online nutrition education video are valid, so they are suitable to help overcome overweight and obesity among millennials

Abstract

Abstrak: Universitas Esa Unggul merupakan institusi pendidikan yang memiliki fasilitas kantin yang berada dalam lingkungan kampus. Saat ini, kantin Esa Unggul dikelola oleh PT. Indonusa dan Departemen sarana prasarana Universitas Esa Unggul (UEU) belum mendapat pembinaan yang terkait tentang higiene sanitasi. Pembinaan ini membutuhkan kerjasama semua pihak baik dari Dinas Kesehatan maupun Institusi terkait dalam lingkungan Universitas Esa Unggul (UEU). Kantin UEU memiliki 12 gerai yang terdiri dari 26 penjamah makanan. Kantin memiliki peranan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan mahasiswa dan pegawai Universitas Esa Unggul. Tindakan preventif dilakukan dalam upaya untuk mencegah keracunan dan bahaya lain yang terkait dengan food borne disease. Kegiatan yang telah dilakukan berupa observasi awal terkait standar sebuah kantin sehat serta edukasi mengenai kantin yang sehat, higiene sanitasi, higiene personal, menu yang sesuai dengan prinsip gizi seimbang serta perubahan setelah dilakukan kegiatan tersebut. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa ada perubahan yang baik terkait pengetahuan penjamah makanan serta adanya perubahan perilaku yang tercermin dengan penggunaan Alat Pelindung Diri (APD) yang lengkap. Abstract:  Universitas Esa Unggul is an educational institution that has canteen facilities within the campus environment. At present, the canteen managed by Pt. Indonesia and the Department of Infrastructure has not received relevant guidance on sanitization hygiene. This guidance requires cooperation off all parties, both from the Health Service and related institutions within Universitas Esa Unggul. UEU Canteen has 12 outlets consisting of 26 food handlers. The canteen has a role to meet the needs of students and employees of Universitas Esa Unggul. Preventive action is taken in an effort to prevent poisoning and other hazards associated with foodborne disease. Activities have carried out in the form of preliminary observations related to the standards of a healthy canteen as well as education about healthy canteens, hygiene sanitation, personal hygiene, menus that are in accordance with the principles of balanced nutrition and changes after the activities are carried out. The results show that there are good changes related to knowledge of food handlers as well as changes in behavior reflected by the use of personal protective equipment or PPE that is complete

Abstract

Abstrak: Masalah obesitas pada remaja akan berdampak pada risiko Penyakit Tidak Menular (PTM) saat dewasa. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatan pengetahuan gizi seimbang dan aktivitas fisik bagi remaja di DKI Jakarta. Masalah gizi lebih pada remaja dapat diatasi dengan menerapkan gizi seimbang dan membiasakan melakukan aktivitas fisik setiap hari. Sebanyak 50 siswa obesitas dari kelas X dan XI siswa dengan status gizi obesitas. Kegiatan ini dengan dilakukan dengan beberapa tahap kegiatan, pmeberian teori dan aplikasi materi gizi seimbang dan juga pemberian teori serta praktek melalui gerakan sederhana untuk melakukan aktivitas fisik. Semua peserta sangat antusiasme untuk mengikuti tiap materi serta gerakan-gerakan aktivitas fisik sehingga diharapkan dapat dilakukan setiap hari, tidak hanya di sekolah namun di rumah juga dapat melakukan. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini diharapkan dapat meingkatkan kualitas kesehatan remaja serta dapat diimplementasi dalam bentuk program berkelanjutan oleh para civitas akademik di Sekolah.Abstract: The obesity problems in adolescents will have an impact on the risk of non-communicable diseases (NCD) as adults. This objective of this activity to increase knowledge of a balanced diet and physical activity for teenagers in DKI Jakarta. The obesity problem in adolescents can preventive by implementing a balanced diet and getting into physical activity every day. The subjects were 50 obese high school students (X and XI high school). This activity is carried out with several stages of activity, providing theories and application of a balanced nutritious diet and also providing theory and practice through a simple exercise to carry out physical activities. All participants were very enthusiastic to follow each material and physical activity so that it was expected to be done not only at school but at home. The results of these community activities are expected to improve the quality of adolescent health and can be implemented in the form of programs by the academic community at the School

Abstract

Abstrak: Melakukan pola hidup sesuai pedoman gizi seimbang seperti rutin menimbang berat badan dan melakukan aktivitas fisik ssaat ini masih jarang dilakukan terutama oleh remaja. Kebanyakan dari mereka terbawa arus lingkungan dan kehidupan modernisasi, sehingga lebih senang jajan dan asik berseluncur dengan gadget. Hal tersebut banyak menyebabkan masalah gizi, seperti berat badan berlebih dan rendahnya aktivitas fisik dan akhirnya berisiko terhadap penyakit tidak menular diusia dewasa. Terlebih lagi dalam kondisi pandemi, dimana siswa dituntut banyak dirumah sehingga aktivitas fisik cenderung sangat menurun. Kegiatan ini bertujuan melakukan literasi digital pada siswa SMPN 220 Jakarta mengenai pentingnya rutin menimbang berat badan dan melakukan aktivitas fisik. Kegiatan dilakukan melalui WhatsApp group yang diikuti oleh 89 siswa. Literasi digital penting dilakukan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan siswa, hal ini didukung oleh penggunaan media sosial makin hari makin meningkat pada remaja karena perkembangan dan inovasi digital. Selain itu, media sosial menjadi salah satu kebutuhan pokok remaja saat ini. Hasil pre dan post-test menunjukkan ada peningkatan pengetahuan siswa sebesar 20 poin setelah mengikuti edukasi. Sehingga literasi digital perlu sering dilakukan pada remaja.Abstract:  A pattern of lifestyle according to guidelines of a balanced nutrition, such as regularly weighing and physical activity, is currently rarely done, especially by adolescents. Most of them are carried away by the current environment and modernization, so they prefer to surf with gadgets. This causes many nutritional problems, such as excess body weight and low physical activity and ultimately the risk of non-communicable diseases in adulthood. Moreover, in pandemic conditions, where many students are required to be at home so that physical activity tends to decrease. This activity aims to carry out digital literacy for students of SMPN 220 Jakarta regarding the importance of weighing and doing physical activities. Activities carried out through the WhatsApp group were attended by 89 students. Digital literacy is important to increase student knowledge, this is supported by the increasing use of social media in adolescents due to digital developments and innovations. In addition, social media is one of the basic needs of today's youth. The pre and post-test results showed an increase in students' knowledge by 20 points after attending education. So that digital literacy needs to be done frequently in adolescents.

Abstract

The objective of this quantitative study is to investigate whether there any influence of using a picture in teaching degree of comparison or not and to know the students’ responses at the second year students of SMP Negeri 9 Mataram in academic year 2014/2015. The population of this study was taken from all the second year students. The writer chose two classes to compare by using the technique of taken sample “cluster random sampling.” The first class as the experimental class (A class) was taught by the degree of comparison through pictures. The second class as a control class ( B class) was taught without pictures. While 34 students of the experimental group and 34 students of the control group. This study used an experimental study with a quantitative method — the data collected procedure by test and questionnaire. The writer gave the pre_test, the treatment, the post_test, and the questionnaire. After collecting and calculating the data, the writer found out that the experimental class gains a high score than the control class. Based on the result, the means scores of A class was 25 while the B class was 16. Moreover it was found that the value of t_test was higher than t_table, where t_test 2, 5 ≤ t_table = 2, 0 (0, 5% or 95%). The finding showed that there any influence of using the picture in teaching comparison degrees. The picture increases students’ responses to learning degree of comparison the class and also given good influence concerning students’ skill in mastering the subject of comparison degrees. It showed by students’ responses of the data from the questionnaire that more than half of students answer yes with percentage was 73%. It means that the picture has a great contribution for students in learning comparison degrees. Therefore, it can be concluded that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected.

Abstract

Semantic Change is the meaning of a word can indeed change through its use in a metaphor, and it is often mentioned as one of the significant factors in semantic change. Based on the types of semantic change, they are divided into four types namely generalization, specialization, pejoration and amelioration. This research aims to analyze semantic change by characters on the film The King’s Speech written by David Seidler to find the types of semantic change by using qualitative research, and the data were collected through the film script especially from the characters in the film. Based on the findings of the study, the researcher found two semantic change such as the semantic change of generalization reaches the highest number with 10 data (62.5%). It implies that the characters in the film gave the words which were containing the meaning of a word is broadening to include new concepts. The range of its meaning increases so that the word can be used in various contexts with a broader meaning than its neutral one. The semantic change of specialization with 6 data (37.5%). It implies that the characters in the film gave the words which were containing the meaning of the word is narrowed into the same class. The range of its meaning is decreased, and word can be used only in fewer contexts than before.
