Abstract

This community service activity was carried out by a team of lecturers and students of Yogyakarta State University (UNY) in Tlahap Village, Kledung District, Temanggung Regency, specifically in the Posong Nature Tourism area. The background of this activity was the limited access to electricity faced by the community managing food courts in the tourist area due to the lack of optimal PLN network coverage. This has an impact on low service quality, limited stall operating hours, and lack of comfort for tourists. Therefore, the community service team presented a renewable energy-based solution in the form of a hybrid system of Solar Power Plants (PLTS) and wind turbines with a capacity of 1,500 watts and 5,000 Wh of energy storage. The method of implementing the activity was carried out through an energy needs survey, socialization, device installation, technical training, and monitoring and evaluation. The community service activity was carried out on August 8, 2025, at 10:00 WIB until finished, attended by the Head of Tlahap Village, the Chairperson and management of Posong Nature Tourism, and 23 local residents, with cloudy and foggy weather conditions but proceeded smoothly. Participants were given an understanding of renewable energy systems, maintenance techniques, handling electrical short circuits, and power usage management to prevent batteries from draining quickly. The results of discussions with the community showed that the application of renewable energy not only provides a solution to electricity needs, but also increases the community's capacity to manage electrical engineering systems independently. Furthermore, the availability of electricity supports the development of food court businesses, tourist comfort, and strengthens Posong's image as an eco-tourism destination. This activity contributes to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 7: Affordable and Clean Energy, SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, and SDG 13: Addressing Climate Change).

Abstract

The Indonesian banking industry is characterized by intense competition, requiring every bank to optimize employee performance to maintain customer trust, reputation, and long-term sustainability. Previous studies have highlighted the role of psychological factors in enhancing employee outcomes, yet the interplay between emotional intelligence, self-efficacy, and work engagement in shaping performance remains underexplored, particularly in regional banks. This study addresses this research gap by examining the effects of emotional intelligence and self-efficacy on employee performance at PT Bank Bengkulu, with work engagement as a mediating variable. This research employed a quantitative, explanatory approach. The population comprised 864 employees across PT Bank Bengkulu’s branch network, from which 274 employees were selected using cluster random sampling. Data were gathered through structured questionnaires and analyzed using the covariance-based structural equation modeling (CB-SEM) approach. The outer model evaluated construct validity and reliability, while the inner model tested hypotheses regarding direct and indirect effects. The findings revealed that both emotional intelligence and self-efficacy positively and significantly affect employee performance, and each also directly enhances work engagement. However, work engagement itself showed no significant impact on performance, nor did it mediate the relationships between the two psychological factors and performance. The results imply that internal psychological strengths particularly emotional intelligence and self-efficacyserve as direct drivers of employee effectiveness, independent of engagement.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of service quality, destination attraction, and supporting facilities on visitor loyalty in the context of halal tourism at Maimun Palace, Medan City. Employing a quantitative approach with an associative research design, the study involved 254 respondents selected using the Slovin formula from a total population of 689 visitors recorded in April 2025. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire using a Likert scale and analyzed using SPSS software. The findings reveal that each independent variable—service, attraction, and facilities—has a positive and significant effect on visitor loyalty. Furthermore, the simultaneous analysis confirms that the combination of these three factors significantly influences loyalty among visitors to the halal tourism destination. These results align with the Customer Satisfaction Theory, which posits that positive experiences related to service delivery, destination appeal, and the availability of appropriate facilities contribute to higher levels of satisfaction, ultimately fostering loyalty. The implications of this study suggest that halal tourism destination managers should prioritize enhancing service quality, preserving the cultural and historical appeal of attractions, and ensuring the availability of facilities that meet the specific needs of Muslim tourists. By doing so, destinations like Maimun Palace can cultivate sustainable visitor loyalty, which is essential for long-term tourism development and competitiveness in the halal tourism sector. This research contributes to the growing body of literature on halal tourism by empirically validating the role of service, attraction, and facilities in shaping visitor loyalty. Future studies are recommended to explore additional variables such as religious compliance, digital engagement, and cultural sensitivity to provide a more comprehensive understanding of loyalty drivers in halal tourism contexts.

Abstract

Semakin besarnya tuntutan masyarakat akan pelayanan yang berkualitas maka pada seluruh organisasi pemerintah beserta jajarannya dituntut untuk melakukan pembenahan dalam berbagai sektor pelayanan. Usaha itu ditunjukkan dengan berbagai usaha peningkatan kualitas pelayanan dan kemampuan pelayanan dari aparatur pemerintah agar lebih professional, efektif dan efisien sesuai dengan harapan masyarakat. Peneliti mempergunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif, dengan alat analisis SEM-PLS. Penelitian memperoleh hasil yaitu kualitas pelayanan berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan masyarakat dikarenakan hasil penelitian menunjukkan Kantor Kecamatan Seberang Ulu Dua memberikan kemudahan prosedur pelayanan serta standar waktu jadwal pelayanan yang ditetapkan secara tertulis sesuai dengan waktu penyelesaian kepengurusan surat pertanahan yang masyarakat ajukan dan technology acceptance tidak berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan masyarakat dikarenakan penelitian menunjukkan hasil yaitu masyarakat merasa belum adanya manfaat secara langsung dengan adanya penggunaan aplikasi SIPENHAKU terkait terjaminnya keamanan dan kelengkapan data pada aplikasi SIPENHAKU.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of service quality, social media, and discounts on customer satisfaction of PLN Mobile application users, with digital marketing as a mediating variable. In the increasingly developing digital era, good service quality, effective use of social media, and attractive discounts are considered to have an important role in increasing customer satisfaction. In addition, integrated digital marketing is a key factor in mediating the influence of these factors on customer satisfaction. This research method uses a quantitative approach by collecting data through questionnaires distributed to PLN Mobile application users in the PLN ULP Delitua work area. Data analysis was carried out using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) technique to test the relationship between the variables studied. The results of the study show that the quality of service, social media, and discounts have a significant influence on customer satisfaction directly. Digital marketing was found to have a strong mediating role, where digital marketing strengthened the relationship between independent variables (quality of service, social media, and discounts) and customer satisfaction. This research makes an important contribution to PLN in optimizing digital marketing strategies, improving service quality, and utilizing social media and discounts to improve the user experience of the PLN Mobile application. These findings also show that digital marketing can be an effective tool in strengthening customer loyalty and influencing their satisfaction in the context of application-based public services

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that affect customer loyalty of Bank BTPN Putri Hijau Branch with a focus on service and promotion. The type of research used is quantitative with a descriptive approach. The analysis method used is Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). The variables studied include Customer loyalty (Y) as a dependent variable, service (X1) and promotion (X2) as independent variables, and Customer satisfaction (Z) as a mediating variable. The results of the study show that services and promotions have a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction of Bank BTPN Putri Hijau Branch. In addition, service and promotion also have a positive effect on customer loyalty which plays an important role as a mediator between independent variables and customer satisfaction. This research emphasizes the need for Bank BTPN Putri Hijau Branch to continue to improve customer satisfaction, especially in terms of service and promotion. By improving innovative services, Bank BTPN Putri Hijau Branch can improve customer perception, adjust to their lifestyle, and fulfill their motivation to choose BTPN as their flagship bank.

Abstract

This study aims to test and analyze the influence of facilities and service quality on the loyalty of Indonesian port service users Belawan Branch. To test and analyze the influence of facilities and service quality on the loyalty of Indonesian port service users Belawan Branch through satisfaction. This research is a quantitative research. Sampling technique with purposive sampling. The population is all consumers who use port services as many as 77 populations and are immediately used as a saturated sample. This research was processed using SMART PLS. The results of the study show that facilities have a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction using PT Pelabuhan Indonesia Belawan Branch port services. The quality of service has a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction using PT Pelabuhan Indonesia Belawan Branch port services. Satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty using PT Pelabuhan Indonesia Belawan Branch port services. Facilities have a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty using PT Pelabuhan Indonesia Belawan Branch port services. The quality of service has a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty using the port services of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia Belawan Branch. Facilities have a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty using PT Pelabuhan Indonesia Belawan Branch port services through satisfaction. Service Quality has a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty using PT Pelabuhan Indonesia Belawan Branch port services.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of seed quality on seed repurchase decisions through customer satisfaction at CV. Rizky Nazwa Niezha. Seed quality is a key factor in determining customer satisfaction, which in turn can influence the decision to make a repeat purchase. The method used in this study is a survey with a quantitative approach, where data is collected through questionnaires distributed to customers of CV. Rizky Nazwa Niezha. The results of the analysis show that there is a significant positive relationship between seed quality and customer satisfaction. Customers who are satisfied with the quality of the seeds received tend to be more committed to making repeat purchases. In addition, customer satisfaction has been shown to act as a mediator between seed quality and repeat purchase decisions, indicating that improving seed quality can increase satisfaction and encourage repeat purchase decisions. This study provides recommendations for CV. Rizky Nazwa Niezha to continue to improve the quality of products and services in order to increase customer satisfaction and their loyalty. Thus, it is hoped that the company can maintain market share and increase business growth in the future.

Abstract

Early childhood is a golden period for children's development to obtain the educational process. This research focuses on designing educational games about safety at home for early childhood. The purpose of this study is to determine the usability feasibility of games based on ISO 9126 standards with indicators namely understandability, learnability, attractiveness and operability. Game development uses the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) method which consists of 6 stages, namely: (1) concept, (2) design, (3) material collection, (4) manufacture, (5) testing, (6) distribution. Game testing is done by black box testing techniques. Data analysis in this study used a quantitative analysis method using a questionnaire technique and a Likert scale measurement index. The results of the black box test stated that the game was following expectations because the output reaction was per the input that was carried out. To find out the usability feasibility of the game, a test was conducted on 24 respondents who had siblings or children aged 0 to 6 years who had played educational games. The results of the research that has been done show that game usability is in the very decent category with a percentage of 89.7%. So the educational game about safety at home is made "Very Eligible" in the aspect of usability of the ISO 9126 standard

Abstract

Sosialisasi dampak ekonomi kepada warga kota Pari menggunakan data dan hasil dari penelitian ini yang dimana bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak ekonomi dari pengembangan pariwisata di Kota Pari, Serdang Bedagai, Sumatera Utara. Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif untuk mengukur dampak langsung, tidak langsung, dan induksi dari kegiatan pariwisata. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam, survei, dan studi literatur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan pariwisata telah memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap peningkatan pendapatan masyarakat lokal, penciptaan lapangan kerja, dan perkembangan infrastruktur. Namun, terdapat juga dampak negatif seperti peningkatan biaya hidup dan kerusakan lingkungan.
