Abstract

This research is motivated by the low interest of the people in the Talang Kelapa sub-district and Tanjung Lago sub-district in paying land and building taxes in rural and urban areas. This study aims to determine the implementation of land and building tax payments in rural and urban areas, public service motivational practices and tax service models in Banyuasin Regency. The method used is observation and interviews with tourists and the surrounding community as well as using literature studies. From the results of the study it can be seen that the payment of rural and urban land and building taxes in Banyuasin Regency in 2022 has not reached the target and still leaves tax bills that have not been paid by the community. The motivation for services provided by tax officers both at the Regional Revenue Agency and by village heads, village heads is still not optimal because people are still hesitant to make payments. rural and urban buildings are still low as well as the motivation for services provided by officers is still not optimal.

Abstract

Sistem hukum Indonesia, termasuk juga hukum yang adat yang sejak awal sudah ada merupakan bangun sistem yang sudah kokoh dalam bangunan sistem hukum nasional. Oleh karenanya, artikel ini membahas tentang hal tersebut Termasuk juga pendapat filsuf hukum yang coba diketengahkan dalam kajian ini. Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat kami hasilkan sebua temua bahwa Sistem Hukum Indonesia harus sesuai dengan norma dan kaidah yang hidup di masyarakat. Hal ini dikarenakan hukum itu harus memandang keadaan dan kondisi masyarakat agar dapat menciptakan keadilan, kepastian dan kemanfaatan bagi masyarakat itu sendiri. Hukum positif akan berjalan efektif bila sesuai dengan hukum yang hidup di dalam masyarakat. Bahwasanya sejarah timbulnya hukum adat di Indonesia itu dapat dipisah-pisahkan dalam, Sejarah perkembangan hukum adat, sejarah perkembangan hukum adat hingga dikenal dalam ilmu pengetahuan, dan sejarah politik hukum adat dalam perundang-undangan di Indonesia. Ketiga hal tersebut adalah proses sejarah hukum adat yang sangat penting bagi bangsa Indonesia sebagai pemilik asli hukum adat tersebut.

Abstract

Indonesia's tourism industry has experienced significant growth in recent years, particularly in the North Sumatra region, which boasts diverse cultures, stunning natural beauty. This study aims to explore the potential of North Sumatra's ports in supporting the tourism industry and increasing the flow of foreign tourists through these entry points. The research focuses on two major ports in the region, Belawan Port and Teluk Nibung Port, both managed by PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero). These ports are equipped with international-standard passenger terminals and docking facilities for cruise ships and ferries, offering the potential to accommodate a large number of tourists. By analyzing the role and potential of these ports, along with their supporting facilities, this study seeks to provide insights into the factors driving the growth of North Sumatra's tourism industry and the challenges and opportunities faced by the sector in the coming years. The impact of port infrastructure development and the support and initiatives of local governments and related businesses on tourism in the region will also be examined. Furthermore, the importance of implementing sustainable tourism practices to ensure the long-term viability of North Sumatra's tourism industry will be discussed. The findings of this study are expected to foster a shared perception among businesses, port managers, and local governments in promoting North Sumatra's tourism industry to the world.

Abstract

Pemberdayaan masyarakat secara implementatif akan dapat menghasilkan sharing knowledge yang berdampak kemandirian. Kemandirian tersebut dapat dicapai apabila masyarakat mampu merubah cara berpikir, bertindak, dan memiliki kemampuan mengendalikan potensi yang mereka punya. Kegiatan ini menghasilkan transaksi ekonomi antara penyedia dengan pembeli khususnya para pedagang makanan dari berbagai daerah. Proses transaksi, selaras dengan teori rembesan (trickle down effect), menjadi model ekonomi baru yang berkembang diantara para pelaku usaha. CSR ini adalah program PT. Makmur Jaya yang merupakan perusahaan swasta yang bergerak dalam bidang produksi pakan ternak. Sebagai perusahaan yang beraktifitas di wilayah Kalten, perusahaan tidak hanya sibuk mengeruk sumber daya alam yang ada. Namun perusahaan perlu merubah mindset negatif tersebut. Melalui program ini, CSR PT. Makmur Jaya berusaha membantu masyarakat dengan kemitraan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas produksi ikan khususnya lele bagi kelompok ternak “Lokalele”. Selain itu, program CSR tersebut berupaya untuk mengembangkan wawasan berbasis lingkungan sebagai wujud kemitraan antara perusahaan dengan kelompok masyarakat.

Abstract

Manners should be known to children as early as possible. Age 6-8 years is the right age to introduce children to manners. The importance of providing an introduction to manners from an early age to foster a sense of empathy in children. To introduce good manners to children cannot be done in a monotonous way, active children need entertainment in learning and understanding the material. Board games are here as a medium that supports the introduction of manners in an interesting and fun way. This study has the following objectives: (1) Designing a Manner Castle board game visualization using Digital Illustration Techniques with Whimsical style as a medium for introducing manners to children aged 6-8 years, (2) Educating children aged 6-8 years about daily manners day in an interesting and fun way through the Manner Castle board game. The development method used in this board game media is Design Thinking which includes the steps: Data Collection (Empathize), Needs Analysis (Define), Conceptualization (Ideate), Making ( Prototype), and Test (Test). The results of this study are in the form of a board game media entitled Manner Castle about the introduction of adab. This board game media has been validated by media experts and material experts and tested on children aged 6-8 years

Abstract

Organizational culture, work environment and leadership style on employee performance at Auto 2000 Medan Pancing. This type of research is a survey, while the research method is quantitative descriptive. This means that it is a research method that takes samples from a population and uses a questionnaire as a collection tool. In this research data and information were collected from respondents using questionnaires. After the data is obtained, the results are presented descriptively. The type of data used is primary data. Validation test R count X1 0.545. R count X1 0.831. R calculated Y 0.545. And the R table for the three variables is 0.204 and is declared valid. Reliability Test X1 0.648, X2 0.877, Y 0.653. Simple regression X1 0.325. X2 0.589. T test X1 5.121. X2 6.081 with a significance of 5%. Correlation and determination R 0.845 The test results of the correlation coefficient of determination or (R) show that organizational culture and leadership style have an influence on employee performance. This can be shown by the correlation coefficient value of R of 0.845. Meanwhile the test result value of the coefficient of determination or (R) is 69.7%. and the remaining 30.3% is influenced by other variables outside the research.

Abstract

The usage of geosynthetics to improve the bearing capacity on granular material of embankment construction is worldwide familiar applied. The paper elaborates the lateral displacement of embankment inserted geosynthetics resulted vertical load on the top of embankment. This type of construction is applied like Mechanically Stabilized Earth- Retaining Wall (MSE-RW). Varied distances of inserted geosynthetics with low tensile strength on granular material of embankment for 20, 30, 40, 60 respectively cm installed on totally 140 cm-high of embankment. Each of layer is installed with varied distances with 120 cm -wide must be wrapped in order to avoid loses grains of granular material of embankment. The varied vertical surcharge at the above of embankment started with 19, 34, 49 kg respectively. The result of research indicates that number layer with inserted geosynthetics on granular material of embankment influences the lateral deflections which much more layers of geosynthetics or smaller vertical distance of geosynthetics provides smaller lateral deflection. Beside that increased vertical load implies the lateral deflection is increased.

Abstract

A restaurant is a business that offers food and beverages to customers to be consumed on-site or taken away. Basically, restaurants have a variety of menu options dedicated to specific themes, such as traditional, international, fast food, or fine dining. Restaurants are not just places to eat, but also places to relax, socialize, or even hold business meetings. Jungle in and restaurant is one of the businesses operating in this field. This restaurant is located by the river and has a lush forest surrounding it. This makes it different from other restaurants located in the city center or in crowded places. Jungle Inn and Restaurant is facing the problem of declining customers and fluctuating customer numbers every month. The impact of Service Quality, Price, and Facilities on Customer Satisfaction at Jungle Inn and Restaurant in Bukit Lawang Langkat, North Sumatra, is the subject of this research. data collection through the distribution of questionnaires to 95 respondents. The multiple linear regression model with SPSS processing was used in this study. The research results show that service quality partially has a positive and significant effect, price partially has a positive and significant effect, and facilities partially do not have a positive and significant effect. The Adjusted R Square value of 0.550 indicates that service quality, price, and facilities can contribute fifty-five percent (55%) to customer satisfaction, with the remaining forty-five percent (45%) potentially attributed to other unexamined variables.
