Abstract

[English]: This systematic literature review (SLR) explores the relationship between mathematical literacy and the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach, which emphasizes the use of real-world contexts in mathematics instruction. This review was conducted following the PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) guidelines to ensure transparency and rigor in the selection, analysis, and synthesis of relevant studies. The review examines studies published between 2019 and 2024, focusing on trends, research methodologies, and the effectiveness of RME in enhancing students' mathematical literacy. The evidence suggests a potential relationship between the implementation of RME and students tendencies to demonstrate a better grasp of mathematical concepts, as well as a stronger inclination toward solving problems in context-based settings. These findings, while drawn from limited and non-randomized studies, suggest that RME may be associated with more meaningful student engagement in mathematics.The review also identifies the research instruments frequently used in RME-related studies and highlights the importance of contextualized learning in promoting mathematical literacy. Despite challenges, such as the need for more innovative, contextually relevant learning designs and the adaptation of RME across various educational settings, the approach has proven to be an effective strategy for advancing students' mathematical literacy, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. These findings contribute to the growing body of research that advocates for context-driven approaches in mathematics education.  [Bahasa]: Tinjauan literatur sistematis (SLR) ini mengeksplorasi hubungan antara literasi matematika dan pendekatan Pendidikan Matematika Realistik (RME), yang menekankan penggunaan konteks dunia nyata dalam pengajaran matematika. Kajian ini mengkaji studi yang diterbitkan antara tahun 2019 dan 2024, dengan fokus pada tren, metodologi penelitian, dan efektivitas RME dalam meningkatkan literasi matematika siswa. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa RME secara signifikan meningkatkan pemahaman siswa tentang konsep matematika dan memperkuat keterampilan pemecahan masalah mereka dengan menggabungkan pengalaman belajar berbasis konteks yang praktis. Tinjauan ini juga mengidentifikasi instrumen penelitian yang sering digunakan dalam penelitian terkait RME dan menyoroti pentingnya pembelajaran kontekstual dalam mempromosikan literasi matematika. Terlepas dari tantangan yang ada, seperti kebutuhan akan desain pembelajaran yang lebih inovatif dan relevan secara kontekstual serta adaptasi RME di berbagai lingkungan pendidikan, pendekatan ini telah terbukti menjadi strategi yang efektif untuk memajukan literasi matematika siswa, berpikir kritis, dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah. Temuan-temuan ini berkontribusi pada penelitian yang terus berkembang yang mendukung pendekatan berbasis konteks dalam pendidikan matematika.

Abstract

Cyberbullying has evolved into a significant issue that frequently affects teenagers in today's society. This can be attributed to the fact that teenagers spenda significant amount of time on the internet, particularly on social media platforms. It is vital to take preventative measures against cyberbullying because these activities can have a significant influence on the mental health of teenagers. Awareness campaigns about the negative impacts of cyberbullying are one of the prevention measures through socialization to high school students regarding the dangers of cyberbullying actions. We hope that by participating in these activities, students will become more conscious of the need to take preventative measures against cyberbullying in the future.

Abstract

AbstrakIndonesia merupakan negara yang beriklim tropis, sehingga pancaran sinar ultraviolet dapat menyebabkan radiasi dan membahayakan manusia apabila mengenai kulit manusia dalam waktu yang lama, sehingga perlu dirawat dengan menggunakan senyawa yang memiliki aktivitas tabir surya. Keefektifan tabir surya dinyatakan dalam label kekuatan SPF (Sun Protecting Factor). Salah satu tanaman yang berpotensi sebagai tabir surya adalah daun pepaya (Carica papaya L.). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas ekstrak etil  asetat daun pepaya (Carica papaya L.) sebagai tabir surya. Metode pada penelitian ini dilakukan secara Experimental Laboratory dilakukan dengan metode pengukuran nilai SPF pada variasi konsentrasi 100, 200, 300, 400, dan 500 ppm dengan alat spektofotometer UV-vis. Hasil pengukuran pada konsentrasi paling tinggi yaitu 500 ppm diperoleh nilai SPF paling tinggi juga yaitu sebesar 24,37 dengan  kategori proteksi ultra. Hal ini disebabkan oleh adanya pengaruh konsentrasi ekstrak etil asetat daun pepaya mengandung senyawa flavonoid, tannin dan alkaloid. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini diperoleh ekstrak etil asetat daun pepaya (Carica papaya L.) dapat dijadikan  sebagai tabir surya.

Abstract

Perkembangan perumahan di Indonesia mengalami peningkatan pesat, namun masih didominasi oleh perumahan konvensional yang kurang memperhatikan efisiensi energi. Untuk menilai kinerja efisiensi energi pada perumahan bersubsidi berdasarkan standar bangunan hijau EDGE khususnya di Kota Pekanbaru, maka dilakukan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Mitra dalam kegiatan ini adalah pengembang Perumahan Graha Timur Raya di Pekanbaru. Adapun metode yang digunakan adalah pengumpulan data teknis bangunan, perhitungan kinerja energi dengan aplikasi EDGE, dan analisis gap untuk memberikan rekomendasi. Hasil assessment menunjukkan tingkat efisiensi energi sebesar 32,7%, dan telah sesuai dengan standar EDGE. Selain menyediakan transfer pengetahuan yang berharga, kegiatan ini juga menghasilkan rekomendasi kinerja yang dapat diimplementasikan, potensial untuk mengurangi konsumsi energi, dan meningkatkan nilai pemasaran bagi pengembang.

Abstract

Masyarakat Dusun I Pasir Rambah, Rokan Hulu, Riau menghadapi keterbatasan akses terhadap tempat ibadah karena lokasi mushola sebelumnya jauh dari permukiman. Hal ini menjadi masalah utama dalam mendukung kegiatan ibadah harian warga. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk merencanakan pembangunan mushola baru yang lebih strategis dan mudah dijangkau serta berkelanjutan. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi survei lokasi, diskusi dengan warga setempat, penyusunan desain mushola, dan sosialisasi rencana pembangunan. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah berupa dokumen perencanaan lengkap, gambar perspektif musholla, analisis struktur dan spesifikasi teknis. Perencanaan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi pedoman bagi masyarakat dalam mewujudkan pembangunan mushola yang nyaman, kokoh, dan fungsional sesuai kebutuhan lingkungan sekitar.

Abstract

Background: Dialectics of character education based on local culture is conducted through the approach of cultural studies in order to comprehend meanings resulted symbolically from the phenomena of local culture. The process of character education based on local culture is a process that gives an individual the ability to give meaning toward his/herself and his/her environment. Aim: The researchers would like to analyze character education’s dialectics based on art and culture in the approach of cultural studies. Method: Literature studies related to character education studies based on local culture in Minangkabau were carried out through written and oral sources or primary and secondary sources. Qualitative methods with a multidisciplinary approach were used. Field data collection was managed in an 'etic' and 'emic' manner. The data were then analyzed using Miles and Huberman techniques. Findings: The attitude of West Sumatera government that launches the program of "back to nagari (village) and back to surau” is a proper space to rebuild an old culture that is still relevant and is developed in the society toward modern culture. Islamic culture that initially evolves in the surau should be able to be developed with bringing religious mission. The art of local people that lives and evolves in sasaran is also resurrected with bringing the mission of Minangkabau customs.

Abstract

Malnutrition, in all its forms, includes undernutrition (wasting, stunting, underweight), vitamin or mineral deficiencies, overweight, obesity, and non-communicable diseases caused by diet. Nearly half of deaths in children under 5 years of age are caused by malnutrition. The active role of cadres in early detection of malnutrition and stimulation of growth and development in children at the Integrated Health Post (Posyandu) contributes to reducing the prevalence of malnutrition and thus improving the quality of health. This community service activity trained Posyandu cadres to monitor the nutritional status of toddlers in the Blang Mangat Lhokseumawe Community Health Center (Puskesmas) working area. The problem-solving method was carried out through education, training on measuring nutritional status and filling out the Health Card (KMS). Activities included outreach, pre-tests, group discussions, training, post-tests, and mentoring. Cadres were trained to measure the height and weight, upper arm circumference, and head circumference of toddlers, and to fill out the KMS. The assessment results revealed that the cadres' understanding of how to measure nutritional status and fill out the Health Card (KMS) improved significantly, with 100% coverage, and 80% of them were able to carry out the nutritional status measurements correctly. Observations during the cadre skills training at the integrated health post (Posyandu) showed that all cadres were able to accurately measure the nutritional status of toddlers. This demonstrates active participation and the practical application of the knowledge gained during the training. Improving cadre skills through ongoing training is crucial for monitoring toddler nutritional status.

Abstract

Maternal and child health (MCH) services require effective communication, information, and education (CIE) media supported by a structured recording system. The Maternal and Child Health Book (MCH Book) has been established by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia as the sole official tool for documenting MCH services nationwide. However, its utilization remains suboptimal, mainly due to the limited knowledge and skills of posyandu cadres. This community service program was conducted in the working area of Syamtalira Bayu Primary Health Center with the objective of enhancing cadres’ knowledge and skills in using and documenting the MCH Book. The intervention included socialization, pre-test, education and training sessions, group discussions, post-test, and mentoring. Evaluation results showed a considerable improvement in cadres’ understanding and ability to use the MCH Book effectively. Cadres actively participated in all activities and demonstrated the application of acquired knowledge in posyandu services. This program highlights the essential role of cadres in promoting the utilization of the MCH Book among pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, and mothers with infants and toddlers. Strengthening cadres’ capacity contributes to improved monitoring of maternal health as well as children’s growth and development at the community level

Abstract

This study aims to explore the effectiveness of utilizing creative Indonesian traditional dance videos via YouTube as an innovative learning medium in cultural arts education in elementary schools. In addition, it highlights the contribution of audiovisual media in enhancing students’ interest, motivation, and engagement, while also supporting cultural preservation efforts. The research adopts a qualitative approach with Robert K. Yin’s (2009) case study design and employs a descriptive method. Data were collected through two stages of questionnaire surveys (136 teachers in the first stage and 124 teachers in the second stage), in-depth interviews with 18 teachers and prospective teachers selected purposively, and triangulation through thematic analysis, word cloud, and member checking. Strategic analysis was conducted using IFE, EFE, SWOT, and SPACE matrices to formulate strategies for implementing creative dance videos as learning media. The findings reveal that conventional dance learning using printed textbooks resulted in low levels of teacher and student interest and engagement. In contrast, the use of creative dance videos (Kedun Dance, Gegelea Beregam Dance, and Tatagok Dance) significantly increased teacher interest (99.8% interested/very interested), student motivation and engagement (73.4% more active), learning effectiveness (100% reported effective), and teacher creativity (91.9%). The novelty of this research lies in combining a qualitative case study approach with strategic analysis (SWOT and SPACE) to evaluate the use of digital media in cultural arts education. Its main contribution is offering a model for utilizing creative dance videos on YouTube as an innovative tool to enhance the quality of dance learning while strengthening Indonesia’s cultural identity among younger generations.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Anemia pada ibu hamil masih menjadi permasalahan kesehatan yang berdampak pada kondisi ibu dan janin. Tingkat pengetahuan ibu hamil dipandang sebagai salah satu faktor yang memengaruhi kejadian anemia. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara tingkat pengetahuan dengan kejadian anemia dalam kehamilan di Puskesmas Banda Sakti. Metode: Jenis penelitian ini adalah analitik dengan menggunakan desain cross-sectional dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 60 ibu hamil trimester I. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner pengetahuan dan pemeriksaan kadar hemoglobin. Analisa data menggunakan uji chis square. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 70% responden memiliki tingkat pengetahuan yang kurang, dan proporsi ibu hamil yang mengalami anemia mencapai 48,3%. Uji statistik menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara tingkat pengetahuan dengan kejadian anemia, dengan nilai p-value sebesar 0,003. Kesimpulan: Ada hubungan pengetahuan ibu dengan kejadian anemia dalam kehamilan di Puskesmas Banda Sakti
