Abstract

Abstract

Background: This analysis is a systematic review of green finance in the banking sector, combining information from 193 papers published in 126 journals indexed in Scopus between 2020 and 2025. Objective: To provide a broad reference source for future research and a better understanding of the interaction between banks, environmental protection, climate change, and the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals. The most recent contributions in green banking—mitigation of risk, technology, credit policy, and ethical practices within organizations—are pointed out. Methods: Quantitative analysis based on bibliometric methodology of the Scopus database with search string TITLE-ABS-KEY("green finance") AND TITLE-ABS-KEY("bank" OR "banking"). Data screening followed the PRISMA framework (N₁=312 → N₂=246 → N₃=193). Bibliometric analysis was conducted using R 4.3.2 (Bibliometrix package) and VOSviewer 1.6.20 for keyword co-occurrence, co-authorship, and thematic mapping. Results: The review reveals five influencing factors and four main research thematic fields, addressing (i) what has already been investigated in green finance applied to banks, and (ii) what directions remain unexplored. The paper concludes with a forward-looking agenda to align green finance definitions and measurements across countries, integrate green risk into regulatory frameworks, incorporate it into credit decisions, and use technology to facilitate effective implementation of the emerging global landscape in green finance. Conclusion: Green finance in banking has gone from a conceptual framing to an empirical inquiry structured by laws and the regulatory regime. Research going forward needs to focus on cross-nation comparability, ethical governance of banks, climate-risk assessment in credit decisions, and fintech solutions for green finance channeled through banks—with a focus on developing economies like Indonesia.

Abstract

General Background: The rapid development of globalization and technology has intensified competition in the modern retail sector, requiring businesses to better understand determinants of consumer satisfaction. Specific Background: Modern retail outlets face challenges in maintaining customer satisfaction, as indicated by fluctuating brand performance and negative consumer feedback associated with service quality, product quality, and price perception. Knowledge Gap: Despite growing competition, limited empirical clarity exists regarding the relative contribution of these three variables within a single retail context experiencing declining consumer evaluations. Aims: This study aims to examine the simultaneous and partial relationships between service quality, product quality, and price perception on consumer satisfaction. Results: Using quantitative analysis with multiple linear regression on 150 respondents, the findings demonstrate that all three variables significantly contribute both jointly and individually to consumer satisfaction, with price perception exhibiting the highest coefficient, followed by service quality and product quality. The model explains 71.8% of the variance in consumer satisfaction. Novelty: This study identifies price perception as the most dominant determinant within the examined model, highlighting its stronger comparative role among key retail attributes. Implications: The results suggest that retail management should prioritize balanced improvements across service, product, and pricing strategies, with particular emphasis on aligning price perception with perceived value to sustain consumer satisfaction. Highlights: Price-related evaluation shows the strongest coefficient within the regression model. Combined variables explain a substantial proportion of variance in satisfaction levels. All examined factors demonstrate statistically significant contributions both jointly and individually. Keywords: Service Quality, Product Quality, Price Perception, Consumer Satisfaction

Abstract

This study aims to describe the readiness, opportunities, and challenges faced by Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the retail sector in implementing digital transformation to enhance competitiveness in the digital economy era. Digital transformation has become an essential aspect of MSME development, particularly following the shift in consumer behavior from offline to online transactions during the pandemic. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach through observations, in-depth interviews, and SWOT analysis to understand the current conditions of micro-scale retail MSMEs. The findings indicate that the digitalization efforts of retail MSMEs are still primarily focused on marketing activities, such as the use of online stores, social media, and e-commerce platforms. Digitalization has been shown to improve operational efficiency, expand market reach, and strengthen business sustainability. However, micro-scale retail MSMEs still face several obstacles, including low digital literacy, limited technological infrastructure, and unstructured management practices. In addition, an excessive focus on mastering technology often reduces attention to product innovation and customer service. Retail MSMEs possess significant internal strengths and external opportunities to enhance competitiveness, including the utilization of supporting technologies such as mobile-based Point of Sale (POS) applications. Overall, this study concludes that improving digital competence, resource readiness, and adaptability are key determinants of successful digital transformation for retail MSMEs amid the dynamics of the digital economy.

Abstract

The development of the digital era has triggered a significant transformation in consumer shopping patterns, which have now shifted from conventional retail to Quick Commerce (Q-Commerce). This article analyzes the phenomenon of changing consumer behavior driven by preferences for speed, practicality, and time efficiency, with the COVID-19 pandemic as the main catalyst. The study highlights that the success of Q-Commerce is highly dependent on Logistics Service Quality (LSQ), particularly in terms of timeliness, courier interaction quality, and order condition. Despite offering convenience that disrupts physical retail, this business model faces serious sustainability challenges, including high last-mile operational costs, difficulty achieving profitability leading to the closure of several market players, and intense competition from hybrid retail models. In addition, traffic safety issues and increased carbon emissions are highlighted as social and environmental impacts. This study concludes that while Q-Commerce holds great potential, its sustainability requires strategic innovations that balance service speed with cost efficiency and ecological responsibility.vThe development of the digital era has triggered a significant transformation in consumer shopping patterns, which have now shifted from conventional retail to Quick Commerce (Q-Commerce). Abstract

The objective is to analyze the competitiveness of modern retail through the integration of SWOT analysis as a basis for formulating more targeted strategies using qualitative descriptive methods. This paper identifies the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats that drive the performance of modern retail based on literature and empirical findings from various previous studies. The results of the analysis show that the main strengths of modern retail lie in product completeness, competitive prices, strategic locations, and operational efficiency. Meanwhile, weaknesses arise from suboptimal digitization, minimal online promotion, limited service innovation, and outdated inventory management. Meanwhile, opportunities arise from changes in digital-based shopping behavior, while threats emerge from the dominance of large retailers, e-commerce competition, and economic fluctuations. Based on the SWOT integration, a strategy is formulated that includes strengthening digitalization, optimizing online marketing, improving service quality, and modernizing operational systems to support long-term competitiveness.
