Abstract

This study aims to analyze the competence of human resources, the role of human resources and the performance of human resources of National Amil Zakat Agency (BAZNAS) to improve the management of zakat funds in West Sulawesi Province. This study was conducted at the West Sulawesi Province Baznas Office. This study specifies BAZNAS of West Sulawesi Province as the object of research due to the poor quality of zakat fund management in the BAZNAS office so far. Determination of the subject of research is purposively using qualitative methods. Data for this study was collected through observation and interviews to zakat managers at the BAZNAS Office in West Sulawesi Province. The results of this study indicate that some problems related to the human capital of BAZNAS of West Sulawesi Province. The recruitment process for employee does not uses open-recruitment system, hence the employee hired by BANAS has poor competency and qualification. Collected zakat fund is still focused on zakat of profession, and they have not been able to achieve the maximum target of collection and distribution. This is constrains due to availability of facility and infrastructure. Faced with this problem, BAZNAS of West Sulawesi Province can carry out a more transparent open-recruitment system to open a bigger chance for people who have better competencies to be employed at BAZNAS, start another zakat fund collection program which targets zakat other than zakat of profession, increase employee’s competency with employee training and development program, gives more work motivation, and review governor’s regulation that backed the zakat collection program by adding a sanction to public servants who don’t obey it, as well as expanding the reach of zakat fund distribution and rationalizing the proportion of zakat fund into the predetermined sectors.  Keywords: Human Capital, Performance, Management Zakat.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to find out (1) The Development of Demand for Balinese Beef (2) the feasibility of Bali Cattle business and (3) the prospect of agribusiness development of Bali Cattle.The research was conducted in Tombolo Pao subdistrict and Pallangga District, Gowa Regency. The determination of the research location was done deliberately and the selection of samples was determined randomly, namely 76 farmers respondents from a total population of 320 farmers.  Data collection is done by direct interview, observation and documentation. The data was analyzed using trend analysis, R/C Ratio analysis and SWOT analysis.The results showed that the demand for Balinese beef is projected to increase by 125,461 kg per year.  Bali Cattle farming business is worth trying because it can provide benefits to farmers of Rp. 3,938,881.4 kg per year or Rp. 328,240 per month with an R/C Ratio of 1.41.  The prospect of bali cattle development based on strength and opportunities has good prospects to be developed. Keywords: Bali Cattle Farming Business and Agribusiness System Implementation.

Abstract

The design of this research is descriptive quantitative to determine the effect of discipline, motivation, and self-development on the performance of the state civil apparatus in the Financial Management Agency and Regional Assets in the Province of West Sulawesi. The study population is all state civil servants who work at the Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency of Mamuju Regency with a population of 62 people, by sampling method applied because the total population is less than 100, then the entire population becomes the study sample. The time of the study was carried out for 3 months, start from April to July 2019. Using primary data sources with ordinal data scales measured on a Liker’s scale, with technical analysis in multiple regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that simultaneously indicated by the results of the F test, that discipline, motivation, and self-development affect employee performance. Partially it is also shown by the t-test results that discipline, motivation, and self-development partially affect employee performance, with motivation being the dominant variable influencing employee performance. Keywords: Discipline, Motivation, Personal Development, State Civil Apparatus Performance

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1). Mengetahui Implementasi Pengelolaan Sumber Daya Alam Terhadap Kehidupan Sosial Ekonomi Pada Masyarakat Pariwisata Dante Pine Kabupaten Enrekang. (2). Mengetahui  Pula Dampak Sosial Ekonomi Terhadap Pengelolaan Sumber Daya AlamPariwisata Dante Pine Kabupaten Enrekang.         Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian Deskriftif  kualitatif, dengan Lokasi Penelitian berada disekitar Objek Wisata Dante Pine di Kelurahan Lakawan, Kecamatan Anggeraja Kabupaten Enrekang, Penentuan informan secara snowball sampling yaitu sampel yang diperoleh melalui proses bergulir dari satu responden ke responden yang lainnya. Metode pengumpulan data adalah dengan observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi. Metode analisis data menggunakan tiga tahap yaitu, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan/verifikasi.         Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa(1). Tempat wisata dante pine memiliki daya tarik tersendiri bagi pengunjung. Salah satu wahana yang disuakai pengunjung di dante pine adalag Zip Bike yangmerupakan wahana bersepeda yang lintasanya berupa tali yang diikat dipohon diatas ketinggian 10 meter dari perukaan tanah. (2). Keberadaan Wisata Dante Pine telah memberikan dampak pada kehidupan sosial  maupun  dampak ekonomi masyarakat. Dante Pine memang telah membawa dampak dalam interaksi sosial mereka terkhusus dalam bentuk persaingan dalam menjalankan usaha yang mereka jalani.         Untuk dampak ekonominya tercermin dalam peningkatan pendapatan kearah yang lebih baik, dan hasil dari peningkatan pendapatan tersebut, mereka gunakan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan hidup sehari-hari, pembayaran barang maupun yang mereka simpan/tabung sebagai sesuatu yang bersifat positif dari keberadaan Wisata Dante Pine.

Abstract

Motivation and competence can be variables that affect the level of librarian performance. ISO 9001: 2015 can also affect librarian performance as there is a quality management system clause that focuses on human resources in the organization. Therefore, the purpose of this research was to find out and analyze the influence of ISO 9001: 2015, motivation, and competence partially and simultaneously on the performance of librarians in the UNHAS Library. This study used quantitative survey research, with a total population of 42 people. The sample was the entire population. The results showed that motivation and competence partially had a significant effect on the performance of librarians. This is consistent with the opinions of several experts and relevant studies. Furthermore, ISO 9001: 2015 did not have a significant partial effect. These findings indicated that ISO in the UNHAS Library could not reach the realm of librarian performance improvement, one of which was due to the lack of librarian understanding of commitment and quality policy in ISO 9001: 2015. Based on the f test, it discovered that simultaneously, all independent variables had a significant effect on the dependent variable of 53,863. In conclusion, based on the regression test, it finds out ISO 9001: 2015 has no partial effect; however, it is simultaneous when integrated with motivation and competence variables, whereas motivation and competence variables can partially influence the performance of the UNHAS Library librarian.

Abstract

Masalah utama dalam penelitian ini yaitu bagaimana bentuk alih kode dan campur kode penjual dan pembeli di pasar Pasar  Tradisional Pabbaeng Baeng. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan fenomena kebahasaan yaitu alih kode dan campur kode penjual dan pembeli di pasar Pasar Tradisional Pabbaeng Baeng. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif yang menggunakan metode teori dan deskriptif. Penelitian ini meliputi perencanaan, dan pelaksanaan penelitian. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah penjual dan pembeli di pasar Pasar Pabbaeng Baeng. Data dalam penelitian ini berwujud pemakaian bahasa oleh penjual dan pembeli di pasar Pasar Pabbaeng Baeng, pada saat kegiatan transaksi jual-beli. Untuk itu, digunakan teknik simak bebas dalam percakapan, teknik rekam, dan teknik mencatat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, peristiwa alih kode dan campur kode yang terjadi antara penjual dan pembeli di Pasar Tradisional Pabbaeng Baeng, disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor diantaranya, faktor usia, jenis kelamin, dan etnis. Pertama, hampir semua penjual dan pembeli yang berniaga di pasar Pasar Tradisional Pabbaeng Baeng merupakan penduduk asli suku Bugis dan Makassar, otomatis mereka menggunakan bahasa Bugis dan Makassar. Kedua, hampir semua penjual dan pembeli di pasar Pasar Pabbaeng Baeng menguasai dua atau tiga bahasa, sehingga penguasaan bahasa tersebut ikut mempengaruhi alih kode dan campur kode.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the quality of service and its impact on customer satisfaction at PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. Bengo Unit, Watampone Branch. This study covered all customers met at the location, with a total population of 500 customers. The sample used in this study was 84 respondents, selected using incidental sampling techniques. Data were collected through descriptive statistical techniques, simple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing. The results of the analysis showed a t count of 7.669, while the t table was 1.98932, indicating that service quality has a positive effect on customer satisfaction. Analysis with SPSS produced a value of R = 0.646 and R² = 0.418 or 41.8%, which means that 41.8% of the variability in customer satisfaction can be explained by service quality. Meanwhile, 58.2% of customer satisfaction cannot be explained by the variables studied.

Abstract

MAYA SILVIANI, 2018, Effect of Experience and Work Environment on Employee Performance at Office BPKD (Local Financial Management Agency) Kab.Takalar, Thesis of Faculty of Economics and Business Faculty of Muhammadiyah University of Makassar. The type of data obtained through the questionnaire as a research instrument that describes the work experience, work environment and performance Employees. This study aims to find out how the experience and work environment affect the performance of employees at the office of BPKD (Local Financial Management Agency) Kab.Takalar. The results showed that the value of R Square is equal to 0.671 or 67.1%. This means variations in the power of influence of variables X1 (Experience) and X2 (Environment) of 67.1% of the variable Y (Performance). The remaining 32.9% is determined by other variables not examined in this study. This research model is stated to be good because the determinant coefficient value is close to 100% or 1. The results of the research show that the R Square value is 0.671 or 67.1%. Abstract

Writing lessons are generally a scourge for learners because the management of learning is less attractive, effective, and efficient. The purpose of this research is to improve the ability to write the description text of students’grade V at SD Pertiwi Makassar by using the story of loved ones’media. The research method used wasa one-group pretest-posttest design, namely a research design that was given a pre-test before being given treatment and a post-test after being given action or treatment. The thing done in the implementation of the experiment was to assign to a sample that had not been given treatment or called a pre-test to measure the initial ability to write the descriptivetext. The conclusion of this research was the result of writing a descriptivetext of students’grade V at SD Pertiwi Makassar using the story of loved ones’ media increased by looking at the improvement of the average score of acquisition from 35.62 on the pre-test to 67.04. This scorewas less than 0.98 to achieve minimum completeness, which was 68.

Abstract

Language is a mirror of its speakers. Whatever the information delivered by the educator or discussed by the students, it is highly likely to be accepted and comprehended by others if the educators' and students' language is acceptable to the listeners or readers. This study intends to evaluate the principles of politeness in speech acts, identify types of speech acts, and describe Madrasah Darul Ihsan Makassar teachers' departures from the rules of politeness in speech acts in learning. The methodology employed is qualitative, and the sort of research is descriptive. Sources of information derived from the speech acts of teachers instructing diverse courses and classes. The results indicated that Madarasah Aliyah teacher Darul Ihsan Makasasar utilized the principle of politeness in language using six maxims: the maxim of wisdom, the maxim of consensus, the maxim of appreciation, the maxim of simplicity, the maxim of generosity, and the maxim of sympathy. The Madrasah Aliyah instructor, Darul Ihsan Makassar, employs the maxim of sympathy in the teaching and learning process. The instructor at Madrasah Aliyah Darul Ihsah Makassar uses directive, representational, expressive, and declarative speech acts in her instruction.
