Abstract

This study aims to optimize the pedagogic competence of teachers in Class X.E MAN 2 Payakumbuh Even Semester 2022/2023 Academic Year in compiling teaching modules through continuous academic supervision. The research method is school action research. The subjects of this study were teachers in Class X.E MAN 2 Payakumbuh Even Semester 2022/2023 Academic Year, a total of 20 people, 15 general subject teachers and 5 Islamic Religious Education subjects. This research was conducted in two cycles and at the end of each cycle an analysis of the teachers’ ability to make teaching modules and their application in class was carried out. Data collection techniques in this study used observation sheets, documentation and field notes on teachers’ development. The method used in data analysis was a quantitative descriptive analysis method. The results showed that the optimization of the pedagogic competence of teachers in Class X.E MAN 2 Payakumbuh Even Semester 2022/2023 Academic Year in compiling teaching modules through continuous academic supervision has increased. Based on the results of the research and discussion it can be concluded that through the application of continuous academic supervision it can improve the ability of teachers to make teaching modules at MAN 2 Payakumbuh. This can be seen from the increase in their average ability from cycle I to cycle II. The average increase per indicator for the assessment of the making of teaching modules was an increasing from 73.00 quite satisfactory category (C) in cycle I to 88.75 satisfactory category (B+) with an increasing percentage of 21.58%. While the average teachers’ ability to make teaching modules is in the satisfactory category. From 73.54 quite satisfactory (C) in cycle I increased to 90.63 satisfactory category (B+) with an increase percentage of 23.24%. Thus it can be concluded that optimizing pedagogical competencies can improve the ability of teachers in Class X.E MAN 2 Payakumbuh Even Semester 2022/2023 Academic Year in compiling teaching modules through continuous academic supervision

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine whether corner puzzle props are useful in enhancing student learning results. The study was conducted through experimental research using a posttest-only control design. The participants of the study were students, with class A being the experimental group and class B as the control group. The data collection method employed in this study was documentation and testing. The results of the analysis of academic performance using corner puzzle props indicated a significant improvement in the average academic performance of the experimental group, which was 69.83, compared to the control group, which was 62.07. The data was analyzed using a difference test (t test) on the right side. The research on academic performance revealed that the t-count was higher than the t-table. This implies that the average academic performance of students in class A (the experimental group) who were taught using corner puzzle props was greater than or equal to that of students who were not taught using corner puzzle props.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Think Pair Share (TPS) learning model on students' creative thinking skills in the learning approach course. This research was conducted using a quasi-experimental research method by applying a 2 × 2 factorial design. The study population was STIPAS Tahasak Danum Pambelum students. The research sample consisted of 23 students in the experimental class and 24 students in the control class. Data collection was carried out using two kinds of instruments, namely the Group Embedded Figures Test (GEFT) instrument to measure students' cognitive styles and the instrument to test students' creative thinking skills in the form of essays. The results of data analysis and statistical tests show that there is an effect of the Think Pair Share (TPS) learning model on students' creative thinking skills in the learning approach course. Based on the results of this research, it is suggested to educators or lecturers, especially those who teach learning approach courses, to be able to apply the Think Pair Share (TPS) learning model developed as an innovation in the teaching and learning process.

Abstract

For students, social laziness is a major issue. Social lazines is linked to a number of elements, including self-efficacy and success drive. Individuals with a high level of self-efficacy can easily complete the tasks in their work group, thus they do not free ride in their work group. The purpose of this study is to investigate experimentally the link between self-eficacy and success motivation and social lazines in students. This study employs quantitative corelational approaches. This study's population consisted of students of one school in Indonesia. The sampel size for this study was 300 students drawn from eight courses using the custer random selection approach. According to the findings of this study, self-eficacy has a strong partial link with social lazines, with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 and a corelation value of -0.613. Achievemen motivation has a strong partially relationship with social sloth, with a significanc value of 0.000 < 0.05 and a corelation value of -0.623. Self-eficacy and succes drive are strongly asociated with social lazines. Furthermore, the three variables have a significant relationship, with a correlation value of 0.640. As a result, there is a link between students’ self-eficacy, succs motivation, and social lazines.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the community's views on women who are highly educated and describe the community's perception of the importance of higher education for women in Dusun Baru Village, Siulak Sub-district. This research is descriptive qualitative research. The subject of this research is the community, the data collection methods in this research are observation, interview and documentation. The data sources used in this research are primary data sources and secondary data sources. The results found in the study are that the community views positively on highly educated women and hopes that they can apply their knowledge to the community and there are still people who think that women are not important to have a higher education on the grounds that their nature is in the kitchen but many people think that higher education is important for women because one day they will become educators for their children.

Abstract

Motivasi belajar siswa merupakan faktor penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan. Dalam upaya meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa, teknologi dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai alat bantu dalam menciptakan lingkungan pembelajaran yang lebih menarik dan interaktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas metode pembelajaran berbasis teknologi dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa di sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi literatur dengan mengumpulkan data dari berbagai artikel terkait yang telah dipublikasikan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan metode pembelajaran berbasis teknologi dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa melalui penggunaan multimedia, aplikasi pembelajaran, dan e-learning. Oleh karena itu, disarankan agar sekolah-sekolah memperhatikan penggunaan teknologi dalam pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to find out about the ongoing process of character education carried out by Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Baubau City, as well as the impact of this character education on changes in student behavior. This study uses a descriptive research method with a qualitative approach. The data analysis technique uses the data analysis model of Miles and Huberman with the processes of data reduction, data validation and data inference. The result of his research is that character education carried out by Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Baubau City is going well and students can understand and apply it in everyday life because of the habituation carried out at the Madrasah. The application of character education through a sociological approach by forming study groups to discuss and provide material with the lecture method carried out in the teaching and learning process as well as habits carried out by the Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Baubau City. Character education carried out by Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Baubau City has had a good impact on student behavior. Judging from the way students carry out the learning process in an orderly manner, sit and tell stories with friends, teachers, and security during recess or empty class hours, as well as students who always try to be on time when attending the midday prayers in congregation at school. Based on the sociological point of view of character education carried out by the Baubau City Aliyah 1 Public Elementary School, it follows the values prevailing in the surrounding community. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that character education carried out by Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Baubau City is going very well and has a good impact on changing student behavior.

Abstract

Literacy-based ndependent learning planning s mportant to be applied n the science learning process. The principal as the manager of SMP negeri 33 Jakarta selatanwas very enthusiastic n welcoming the concept of ndependent learning. Teachers and observers of education at smp negeri 33 Jakarta selatanhope that the concept of ndependent learning that will be applied by the school will bring positive changes to the development of the quality of education at that school because this will help provide students with the skills needed n the 21st century. The results showed that, planning n the literacy-based ndependent learning program n science learning at smp negeri 33 Jakarta selatanwas conducted by holding deliberations with various related elements. Planning lessons was carried out n the classroom, and outside, planning n learning was cnducted by carrying out a literacy movement that has 2 goals, namely general goals and specific goals. Planning constraints n the literacy-based ndependent learning program n science learning at smp negeri 33 Jakarta selatan consists of 3 obstacles, namely: 1). Lack of human resources who can understand literacy programs properly and correctly; 2) time for literacy activities at school; and 3) the school library s only limited to the school library, and the library collection only provides school books, very few other additional books.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepemimpinan, motivasi dan komitmen terhadap kinerja pegawai. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada Badan Pengelolaan Keuangan dan Aset Daerah Kota Makassar dengan mengambil 46 pegawai sebagai sampel penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial, kepemimpinan berpengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai Badan Pengelolaan Keuangan dan Aset Daerah Kota Makassar. Secara parsial, motivasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai Badan Pengelolaan Keuangan dan Aset Daerah Kota Makassar. secara parsial komitmen berpengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap Kinerja Pegawai Badan Pengelolaan Keuangan dan Aset Daerah Kota Makassar. Secara simultan kepemimpinan, motivasi dan komitmen berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai pada Badan Pengelolaan Keuangan dan Aset Daerah Kota Makassar. Secara parsial menunjukkan bahwa variabel motivasi berpengaruh paling dominan terhadap kinerja pegawai pada Badan Pengelolaan Keuangan dan Aset Daerah Kota Makassar.

Abstract

Pandemi COVID-19 menyebabkan berbagai aktivitas dialihkan menjadi secara daring, salah satunya aktivitas belajar di sekolah. Karena belum memiliki sistem informasi e-learning sendiri, kegiatan belajar daring di SMA Tunas Bangsa Palembang memanfaatkan berbagai media seperti Classroom untuk membuat kelas, Google form untuk mengisi absen, hingga Youtube untuk menyampaikan materi. Banyaknya media serta masih terdapat kekurangan yang dirasakan terkait fitur dari media yang digunakan menyebabkan pelaksanaan kegiatan belajar menjadi kurang efektif dan efisien. Sehingga, agar dapat menghadirkan kenyamanan dan kemudahan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran tersebut, diperlukan perancangan user interface dan user experience (UI/UX) sistem informasi e-learning. Penelitian ini menggunakan design thinking sebagai metode yang memiliki 5 tahapan, dimulai dengan empathize sampai pengujian prototype desain solusi (test). Pengujian prototype dilakukan dengan metode usability testing yaitu menggunakan skenario tugas serta kuesioner System Usability Scale (SUS) dan User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ). Hasil pengujian usability testing menggunakan skenario tugas dan kuesioner SUS antara lain untuk aspek learnability dan efficiency kelompok pengguna guru dan siswa yaitu 100% dan 0,04 goals/sec, untuk aspek satisfaction pengguna guru yaitu 93 dengan grade scale “A” dan untuk pengguna siswa yaitu 85 dengan grade scale “B”, skor penilaian UEQ untuk dua kelompok pengguna berada diatas 2,0 di semua kategori penilaian yaitu “Daya Tarik”, “Kejelasan”, “Efisiensi”, “Ketepatan”, “Stimulasi”, “Kebaruan”. Sehingga, dapat disimpulkan bahwa desain prototype e-learning telah memiliki user experience yang baik. Kata kunci— Design Thinking; E-Learning; Perancangan UI/UX.
