Abstract

The quality of health services is one of main focus for community. Awareness of the quality of health services is increasing with the demand for improving the quality from service providers and community as a service user. The quality of health services greatly affects patient satisfaction. The design of this study is analytic survey research with cross sectional approach. The purpose of this study is to know the relation of quality of health service to patient satisfaction at Army Health Center (PUSKESAD) POLKES of Takalar Regency in 2017. The research is conducted at Army Health Center (PUSKESAD) POLKES Takalar District. The sample in this study are patients who treated at the Army Health Center (PUSKESAD) POLKES Takalar District in June of 2017 as many as 94 people using a simple random sampling technique. Data analysis in this research is univariate and bivariate analysis using chi square test. The results showed that there was a significant correlation between health service quality based on indicator physical appearance, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy with patient satisfaction with each p value = 0,000. It is hoped that the Army Health Center (PUSKESAD) POLKES can improve the quality of health services and the confidence of patients in utilizing health services more increase.

Abstract

The impact of not fulfilling exclusive breastfeeding in the first 6 months of a baby's life is the risk of malnutrition. Coverage of exclusive breastfeeding in Polewali Mandar is still low so there needs to be an increase in early breastfeeding initiation. This study aims to analyze the effect of Early Breastfeeding Initiation education on the provision of exclusive breastfeeding at the Mapilli Health Center in Mapilli District, Polewali Mandar Regency. This research is an analytical study with a cross-sectional design with a total sample of 86 people. Data collection was carried out by interviewing, observing, and documenting with data analysis techniques using SPSS 16 software. Results This study concluded (1) the influence of Early Initiation Early Education on exclusive breastfeeding (2) the absence of influence of family support for exclusive breastfeeding presence and absence of family support The mother continues to provide breastfeeding for her child (3) the absence of influence of the mother's work status on providing exclusive breastfeeding because the mother works or does not, the mother continues to breastfeed her child (4) from the Early Breastfeeding Initiation education, family support and work towards exclusive breastfeeding is only one that greatly influences the success of breastfeeding mothers, namely Early Breastfeeding Initiation education. This study suggests further research needs to be done by using better research designs such as prospective cohorts and larger sample sizes to reduce recall bias and be able to control for confounding factors and consider aspects of determinants of breastfeeding determination.

Abstract

The important factors considered in choosing the location of each supermarket are different. For a supermarket or mini market, the most important factor is being close to consumers. To achieve the goals of a good marketing company, it is necessary to have the right marketing strategy, including pricing by paying attention to changes in consumer behaviour. This study aims to determine the effect of location and price on shopping decisions at Gelael Practical Makassar. This study uses quantitative analytical research methods. The results of this study found that location and price had a significant effect on shopping decisions; Price has a significant effect partially on shopping decisions. Price is the main variable that influences consumer evaluation of the product to be purchased; Meanwhile, the results of multiple linear regression analysis show that consumer decisions are more influenced by price than location, in shopping decisions at Gelael Practical Makassar. It is recommended that the company can pay attention to other factors that exist to further improve the shopping decision.

Abstract

Stunting is a nutritional problem that hurts the quality of life of children in achieving optimal growth and development according to their genetic or hereditary potential. This study aims to determine the relationship between mother's knowledge, food intake, and history of LBW with stunting in toddlers at the Tena Teke Health Center, Southwest Sumba Regency, NTT in 2022. This study used a survey method with a cross-sectional study design. A sample of 233 people was taken using a non-probability sampling technique (accidental sampling). Data were analyzed through editing, coding, tabulation, and data entry processes. Knowledge instruments were tested for validity and reliability, while instruments for food intake, history of LBW, and stunting were considered valid and reliable because they were standardized by the Indonesian Ministry of Health. The results showed that there was no relationship between maternal knowledge (p=0.504) and food intake (p=0.137) with the incidence of stunting in toddlers and there was a relationship between history of LBW and stunting in toddlers (p=0.000). This study concludes that there is no relationship between maternal knowledge and food intake with the incidence of stunting in toddlers and there is a relationship between a history of LBW and the incidence of stunting in toddlers. It is necessary to increase the mother's knowledge about nutrition during pregnancy to prevent LBW. Future studies should consider external factors that could influence the results of the study.

Abstract

Bad environmental conditions are one of the factors increasing the incidence of diarrhea. Where environmental health includes several factors including housing, sewage disposal, clean water supply, and waste water drainage. South Panggilian Environment, South Benteng Sub-District, Benteng District, and Selayar Islands Regency, is an area that still has poor environmental sanitation or does not require health standards. In this case, especially the problem of sewerage that still does not follow health sanitation requirements. If left unchecked, it will become one of the risk factors for increasing disease, especially diarrheal diseases. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between sanitation and the incidence of diarrhea in the South Panggilian Environment, South Benteng SubDistrict, Benteng District, and Selayar Islands Regency. This research is a type of research in the form of an observational survey with a cross-sectional approach with a population of 238 families. To determine the sample size, the slovin formula was used to obtain a total sample of 77 families. This research was conducted in October - November 2021. In collecting data using a questionnaire to the selected respondents, the data was then processed and displayed in tabular form. Based on the results of the study, it was found that there was a relationship between clean water facilities (p-value = 0.02), drinking water facilities (p-value = 0.00), feces/latrine disposal facilities (p-value = 0.00), sewage facilities wastewater (p-value=0.02), waste disposal facilities (p-value=0.00) and food sanitation (p-value=0.00) with the incidence of diarrhea. Based on the results of the study, it was suggested that the respondents make a means for disposing of wastewater at home and outside the home so that they do not interfere with each other, causing a very pungent odor seen from flood-prone areas.

Abstract

Nurses working in hospital settings face a heightened susceptibility to work-related accidents, which primarily stem from two underlying factors: unsafe behaviour and hazardous conditions. Work accident data at Dr Tadjuddin Chalid, there are 12 reported cases of work accidents in 2021. The objective of this study was to establish the correlation between unsafe actions, unsafe conditions, and the frequency of work accidents among nurses at Dr Tadjuddin Chalid Makassar Hospital. The research methodology employed for this investigation was observational, adopting a cross-sectional approach. The targeted population encompassed 205 individuals, with a final sample size of 136 nurses being involved in this research endeavour. The sample is taken using a simple random sampling method. Respondent data collection using a questionnaire. Data analysis used the chi-square test to see the relationship between independent variables, namely unsafe actions (perceptions, work experience, work stress, work shifts and supervision) and unsafe conditions (work environment, tools/materials and dangerous unsafe environment) with the occurrence of work accidents. The findings indicated a notable correlation between unsafe behaviour and work accidents (p-value = 0.001), alongside a significant relationship between unsafe conditions and work accidents (p-value = 0.007). In summation, it can be concluded that both unsafe behaviour and unsafe conditions are connected to the incidence of work accidents at Dr. Tadjuddin Chalid Makassar Hospital. It is recommended that the hospital emphasizes enhancing the work environment's conditions and elevating the quality of training and supervision. These measures are essential for mitigating the prevalence of work accidents among nurses.

Abstract

Abstract: Stunting is a condition where there is failure to thrive in children under five years old caused by chronic malnutrition so that children are too short for their age. Blora Regency has several areas that are included in the focus of handling stunting, one of which is the Kedungtuban area. Kedungtuban Health Center is the main health center in Kedungtuban District. The purpose of the study was to determine the causes of stunting in the perspective of mothers of toddlers. The type of research is quantitative with a cross sectional approach. The research was conducted at the Kedungtuban Health Center. The sample amounted to 94 people. The sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling. Data analysis was done univariate and bivariate. The results showed there was a relationship between maternal knowledge (p value: 0.000) and exclusive breastfeeding (p value: 0.000) with the incidence of stunting. It is recommended for the Puskesmas to schedule routine health counseling activities for mothers of toddlers about stunting prevention and develop an assistance program to improve nutritional intake.Keywords: Exclusive Breastfeeding, Maternal Knowledge, Stunting

Abstract

Abstract: Employee performance is an important thing to research, because performance is a measure of success in achieving the vision and mission of an agency, in this case the Rarowatu Community Health Center. Good performance will take the agency in a positive direction, and vice versa. This research is a type of quantitative research using the Chi-Square Test and logistic regression test. The results of the research show that the individual characteristic variable with a value of p = <0.001, workload with a value of p = <0.001 and leadership with a value of p = 0.003 has a relationship with employee performance, while the psychological variable with a value of p = 0.158 is not related to employee performance at the community health center. Rarowatu. The existence of a relationship between the independent variable and the dependent variable shows that the worse the individual characteristics, workload and leadership, the worse the results of employee performance. Meanwhile, from the results of the multiple linear regression test, it was found that the independent variables most related to the dependent variable were individual characteristics and leadership. It is recommended that the employees and staff of the Rarowatu Community Health Center hold a briefing at least once a week to evaluate performance each week, add additional staff in the pharmacy section so that queues are not long for pharmacy services, distribute shifts on duty in the morning at the Rarowatu Community Health Center, to the head of the Community Health Center to actively evaluate performance as a leader by involving assessments from employees, for individual characteristics and leadership variables to carry out performance evaluations at least every week.Keywords: Determinants, Implementation, Employee Performance

Abstract

Indonesia berada di posisi kedua negara dengan presentase kejadian TB Paru di dunia. Terlepas fokus pada pengobatan, penting juga untuk menangani masalah ini melalui tindakan preventif berupa tindakan deteksi dini dan penemuan kasus baru untuk pelaporan kejadian TB Paru dengan bantuan swadaya masyarakat yaitu pemberdayaan kader. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pelatihan TB Paru terhadap tingkat pengetahuan kader dalam deteksi dini dan penemuan kasus baru TB Paru di Kabupaten Bulukumba. Penelitian  ini menggunakan  metode deskriptif analitik dengan rancangan pretest-post test satu kelompok tunggal, dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 30 orang  kader yang tersebar di 20 Puskesmas di Kabupaten Bulukumba. Hasil penelitian  ini  menunjukkan bahwa  ada hubungan pelatihan dengan tingkat pengetahuan kader dalam deteksi dini dan penemuan kasus baru dengan nilai p=0.011 dengan  demikian  Ha diterima  dan  Ho  ditolak. Kesimpulan  penelitian  bahwa ada hubungan antara tingkat pengetahuan kader dengan pelatihan TB Paru di Kabupaten Bulukumba. Diharapkan  hasil  penelitian  ini  dapat dijadikan  sebagai  tambahan  pengetahuan  dan informasi untuk perbaikan dalam hal intensitas dan frekuensi pelatihan secara berkelanjutan, pengembangan skill yang diaplikasikan langsung di lapangan serta adanya kolaborasi dengan lembaga pendidikan dan organisasi kesehatan.

Abstract

Pembangunan kesehatan yang berkualitas mampu meningkatkan     kesadaran, kemauan dan kemampuan hidup sehat secara mandiri bagi setiap orang agar terwujud derajat kesehatan masyarakat yang optimal. Masyarakat cenderung menuntut pelayanan umum yang lebih baik, lebih ramah dan lebih bermutu termasuk pelayanan kesehatan. Dengan semakin meningkatnya tuntutan masyarakat akan mutu pelayanan kesehatan maka fungsi pelayanan kesehatan dasar di puskesmas secara bertahap perlu terus ditingkatkan agar menjadi lebih efektif dan efisien Pembangunan kesehatan merupakan bagian integral dan terpenting bagi pembangunan nasional. Tujuan:  penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan Manajemen Puskesmas terhadap Mutu Pelayanan Puskesmas di Lingkungan Kabupaten Seram Bagian Barat Tahun 2024. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan rancangan Cross Sectional Study. Populasidan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh Kepala puskesmas, Kepala Tata Usaha dan Pegawai puskesmas yang memberikan pelayanan di 22 puskesmas yang ada dalam wilayah Kabupaten Seram Bagian Barat, yaitu sebanyak 308 responden. Pengumpulan data menggunakan  lembar observasi. Data yang telah dikumpulkan kemudian diolah dan dianalisis secara univariat dan bivariat, uji multivariat yang digunakan adalah uji chi-square menggunakan laptop denganprogram statistik (SPSS). Terdapat semua variabel apa yang paling berhubungan dengan mutu pelayanan puskesmas. Variable yang paling berpengaruh dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variable pengawasan, pengendalian dan penilaian (p= 0,000) dan penguatan penggerakan dan pelaksanaan (p=0,000) terhadap mutu pelayanan puskesmas dan variable ada pengaruh perencanaan dengan nilai (p= 0,001), di Kabupaten Seram Bagian Barat dengan uji chi-square.
